(not so) Fun Fact: RC added only 2 new canon Black MLIs throughout this entire year since May 2024—Grant and Zane (I won't count Volot because Anti-Black players can get rid of him—which btw is literally the entire point of Wolot's existence). Compare that to 15-16 new White MLIs: Tristan, James, Dragan, Tai, Aldir (he's a fling but still white and therefore highly requested by the fans), Merlin, Edward, Ralph, Abraham, possibly Hobello, Robert Dudley (apparently also a fling), Albert, Mads, Anders (another fling which begs the question—why are flings always white?) and Michael; also the masked blond guy from AN3 could be an LI (at the very least, the usual begging for The White Male LI has already started in regards to him) I'm sure it's all just a coincidence and definitely NOT a reflection of the unfair societal opinion and negative stereotypes about Black men. With White men, on the other hand, being idolized as perfect romantic leads in tons of romcoms and dramas. And some people in this fandom still have the audacity to complain about Black men ruining RC for them. You see, because of Black MLIs' existence they can no longer consider other options and have to choose The White Man of the story by default 🥺😭I guess the only acceptable number of Black male LIs to them is zero. "Only 2 Black MLIs in a whole year" is already two LIs too many in their opinion

He solves your Carter issue. For those who are annoyed by Carter and his sheer stupidity you can get Grant's help and the best thing? It's available both in and out of route. He makes him to commit to a good rehab and Carter actually shows changes where he emails Jaynie about getting into University and making a good future.

He actually tries to understand MC's interest. Look I get you all love Tristan and probably half of you chose him as last resort to romance him but, Grant so far was the very first LI who actually tried to understand MC's love for books and he even asked Ray about that

He actually is a great hugger and his route feels like an escapism route for those who are tired of current stressful and corrupt world.

You can take all kinds of path with Grant Capitalist, Movement and even Anti Capitalist. As, there is an option where you can convince to side with you always and he agrees no harsh judgements. Tristan won't even open to you about his plans if you are freaking Capitalist (S2E3) (both in and out of route)

He has no cringe situations at all. He is the only sane man in this book and that's the biggest joke. A real gentleman.

I mean the biggest flaw he has is with the lack of story involvement. I AM telling you Grant was shelved since, Season 1. Atleast Grant wasn't shoved to your face nor asked you for kiss in your vulnerable situation NOR gets extremely mad at you and tells you to not show your face within 20 yards. (Eyeroll, into oblivion)

But, they said he will have an involvement in S3 so I'm very excited to see it happen

Also Grant is way better than James and Tristan. Your Jaynie won't have to spy or be hook*r while he got a main chick

Grant Deserves Better.

The only thing this man lacks is the story presence

God, I hate this thing like I would love to see more of Grant's drama over Tristan's emo face.

I swear if Grant had more importance in the plot he would had been the #1 LI of 7 Brothers.

Even this is my rant about him!

He's everything but very underutilised character and a love interest.

He was enough but, his one flaw screwed him REAL BAD .

We don't DESERVE Grant.
