I..... never take the option to pair up LIs when I play. Love, peace and prosperity to those who do, but if I've paired someone up, I can't romance them in the future. Does that make sense? They're suddenly canonically meant to be and I'm the third wheel haha. And I want to be the main character, okay?

For fun, I have tried identifying the creatures from the CGs of Ghita’s mom from The Missing

• Thai version: The Krasue (a female spirit with floating intestines)

• Polish version: The Strzyga/Striga (a female demon-vampire hybrid)

• Ghanaian version: The Asanbosam/Sasabonsam (a vampire with hook like extremities)

• Greenlandic version: The Draugr (a pale and bony zombie like creature)

Interestingly, all those mythical creatures share traits of vampirism, notably consuming human blood or flesh. Vampire figures have also been associated with the symbolism of greed. The author has hinted that there won’t be supernatural elements to the story, which could be that Ghita’s hallucinations are related to folkore creatures and their symbolism. In the case of her mother, it could be a representation of her past catching up to her OR she was targeted by a cult with bad intentions.

Someone was bitter because Safaa is a muslim and a lesbian as if sexuality were something we chose and were not born with it.

Christianity also condemns homosexuality. I was born and raised in a devout christian home (my father is a f*cking bishop) and that didn't stop me from liking women. It's something you're born with and can't change, you can just pretend and try to hide but you won't become straight. In the last few episodes, in Safaa's route, we see her having an internal conflict about being Muslim and being attracted to women. She starts to avoid Ghita because she feels attracted to her and is scared. This is something the writer intends to explore: being an LGBT person in a culture that says it's wrong.

And I'm loving it, I can't wait to see more about her conflicted feelings and how her relationship with Ghita unfolds 💖
