The ‘LOVE & Nyanko’ cut-out vermilion seal has been renewed🐈❣️

The white cat symbolises purity, happiness and healing and is a ‘blessed cat’, a being that brings peace of mind. The pigeon is also known as the ‘divine messenger’ of the Hachiman God. As long as these children get on well with each other, they are sure to bring great blessings 🥰.

This red seal is a collaboration with paper cut-out artist Maki Matsubara of Kurokumosha, at Yame in Kyu-syu Japan.

So apparently... it looks like we have 4 kinds of seals? a power limiting one let's call it? yorishiro seal-object one, yorishiro seal-human one, and ??? what is the red one for???

I'm wondering if drawing it covering Tsukasa's seal is intentional???

...

I try my best not to connect the anime to the manga... but at times it just happens. Having Tsukasa himself saying this... is a bit hard for me to ignore...

whatever the case may be… I'm looking forward to see that seal presented in the story one day, if that were to happen.

The fun part about collecting red seals at shrines and temples is that technically if you pick a shrine or temple that has a lot of sub shrines and offers seals for them, or does a lot of seasonal seals you can fill up a quarter of the book easily! Plus they're so beautiful and artistic so it's supporting the arts :D

The month of May marks a transition time in Central Appalachia's forests as the canopy's vibrant green cloak closes above the forest floor, and the spring ephemerals go dormant and fade away. The forest now belongs to the ferns, fungi, mosses, and lichens, which collectively drive nature's great recycling engine. The next great spectacle, just around the corner, is the mountain laurel bloom, with a few plants already busting out their colors.

Photos from two different weekend hikes around the Cheat River Canyon (which, along with Dolly Sods and the New River Gorge, has one of the best laurel blooms in Central Appalachia).
