What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to RPing?

                      When people seem to completely ignore what I wrote and kinda go on their own tangent. Like what I had to say had no bearing on the story we’re trying to tell and it’s just them running the show. I’ll drop threads so fast when shit like that happens. Like sometimes stuff doesn’t go the way you thought it would, ignoring the change of pace or direction doesn’t mean you get to do whatever you want. This is a two person thing we’re writing. Play off the other person and go together with them.

i. sorano does not like receiving flowers. flowers are objectively pretty — but ultimately their beauty is temporary, through her eyes. the symbolism of them is that they have to be nursed and live under the most particular circumstances to bloom. they don’t stand brutal conditions. now stones & diamonds ? she loves those. created by thousands to millions of years of patience & weathering of harsh environments. they become beautiful because of it. she’s someone who admires that. she’s someone who wants to be like a diamond. valuable, strong, & beautiful.

sting is .  .  . to put it gently: a total himbo. strong women have always been inspiring to him. much of it has to do with his birth mother, whom he learned much about from weisslogia. throughout his life, women mages tend to more often be sources of inspiration and motivation for him. especially equally powerful and intelligent women, as sting isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

Fingers curl around the position of his ankle, feet tucked under him with knees pointed outward with a hanging head. If it weren't for the mild wince displayed under his messy bangs it may have looked like her words hadn't reached him. She'd seen sides of him he never would have thought he'd willingly allow another human being to see and live to tell the tale. Truth be told, as much as he was trying to grow and open up to her more he still couldn't stand showing those parts of himself to anyone— not even himself.

It was still so embarrassing to think she'd seen him behave in anything less than his best and that very thought made him sweat. His other hand was occupied with hers, clutching it harder after she spoke with a clammy hand. The thought of appearing in front of anyone like that was miserably gross but he couldn't deny how relieving it felt to have someone there. Getting this close to someone was so new ... actually giving her a chance to see those sides of him was new. Even if he couldn't offer her a way inside, the least he could offer was a window to peer into his delicate sides. Ugh, the very sound of that made him cringe.

"Yeah yeah ... " She always got so sappy with him but by the lack of scowl on his face it was clear that Katsuki wasn't bothered in spite of his tone. If he were honest, he was glad she noticed. It wasn't easy being so open with someone but he'd tortured himself with the sentimental bullshit long enough, he could do with a little encouragement. That called for a smirk not at all unfamiliar, head rising to meet her eyes.

someone my muse is jealous of.

sting is too full of himself to be prone to jealously easily. even if someone were to exemplify a trait he wished he had, he’s reasonably content with who he is. the closest person he’d ever consider seriously naming would maybe be wendy. he thinks her healing magic is so ideal. plus, she’s a child who has a chance to be a child now. her life hasn’t been easy & that’s not something he’d ever diminish. but her early experiences allow her the chance to begin her own life, the way she wants. not that sting would consider himself old, but she’s young enough to start fresh without that pesky dragon slayer destiny to weigh her down. i hope.
