closed starter, near the farms thorin and rineike @dxrkenedheights
.
Thorin is meandering suspiciously close to the farms and barns. The smell of sheep and pig shit is basically home, and he finds the wolves who have been tasked with their upkeep most amusing. Jones. The name sounds funny the way it rolls around his mouth. "Oh-Eh-Nes. Jownehs." Of course, he isn't here to make friends with the Jownehs. He's here to find the perfect animal for a sacrifice, a celebration. Standing on the fences and peering into the closed pens they've been locked away in from the cold. Loki has already wandered in the other direction to see if there's goats, although neither of them can hear much bleating from any. In his absence comes another familiar face, Thorin straightening his spine with a smile when he catches the knowing glance of Rineike. He nods, in order to not raise suspicion. "Hvordan er disse ulvene? Hvordan sier du navnet deres?"

Thorin wishes to appreciate Rineike's quick wit with a loud laugh, but he immediately sees the look she gives him and his head dips slightly. A smirk on his face, of course but one he hopes to hide with a lick of his lips. "Men venner av korset ulver er fiender av oss?" he quizzes about the Jownehs. "Når tiden kommer, vil vi drepe dem også?" A piece of Thorin was hoping that with more numbers reunited of the Visser pack, they would be able to unleash Hell onto the Crosses. He doesn't quite understand hesitation, and the insatiable blood-thirst of a Jansen courses his veins. Although, confirmation of these pretty Jownehs girls makes him turn to take another glance through the farms in case they appear. A mental note taken to look for them among the town instead. Quick laughter follows about his brother, looking back to Rineike with a proud grin. "Har han ikke holdt sin lille forelskelse hemmelig?" and Thorin thinks he has successfully thrown the Beta off their scent but her warning finger raises and he lets out a slight sigh. "We are just here to...look at the food we will be eating. All of these wolves seem weak, so we thought maybe they rear the animals wrong before eating them."

"Sannsynligvis fordi sauer ikke kan se om en kuk er uvasket." Rineike quips but her gaze sharpens subtly. She scans through the snowy farmland again, pondering the Jones pack. "They are no threat." she says, assured and calm when she looks back to Thorin. "Hat krever energi, Thorin. Mer enn disse ulvene er verdt." and that expands to the Cross wolves too. Now, Rineike remains indifferent with her disdain for them. A slow moving plan for them to meet justice, but the time is not quite right. She and Roan will know when, but until then a patience is needed. "Pene, men på den enkle måten er disse ulvene." she remarks then and finally a laugh does leave her at Thorin's giddy high. "Kanskje den hvite ullen minnet ham om noe." but there's a reason why she's approached Thorin, and she scans a finger in warning to him and then wherever Loki might be. "What are you both doing?"

Thorin nods, but more from placation than true understanding. There's an abundance of energy in the Jansen, almost too much to ever expend. It's not the kind that can be tired out from a fast run, but instead from a swing of a blade that takes heads with each slice. "Fint. Jeg lar jownehene være i fred." he relents, although it's not a promise. "Men jeg burde kanskje se om jentene er pene. Bare et glimt." he adds with a soft grin. It breaks into laughter at Loki's ambitions with Esje's skills, or lack of them. And as far as Thorin believes, it's impossible to teach someone how to be a Jansen. It's a gift given at birth. "Broren min var aldri den smarteste av oss." he laughs in a sigh, and then he is standing up straighter with a small step away from his Beta. A plan to rush to Loki and tell him they need to abandon this search for a sacrifice and quickly. "Did you not know? If a Jansen can not make it as a fighter, farming was our second option." he waves a hand in farewell, to dodge any more questions or suspicions.
END.

Rineike's head tilts, and there's only slight amusement on her features. The irony isn't lost on her that a Jansen's bloodthirst is both their strength and weakness. "Hvis de blir med i kampen, ja. Men de kan innse at de er overveldet og revurdere. Hvis de er smarte." she shrugs, doubting that will be much placation. "Du har nettopp kommet, Thorin. Ta en pause." she adds in a chuckle. She doesn't care if waiting is akin to punishment for a Jansen, Thorin will have no choice but to while Roan and Rineike regather more lost wolves. Return the pack to the glory it deserves. Already, the town is beginning to feel like home. Norse voices trailing through the air, that's a victory in itself. Rineike nods about Loki with a grin forming. "From what Roan says, he has tried to teach her to fight. The way Jansen's do." it might be a little ambitious, but it's better than a weak wolf with them. A curious hum then follows and she doesn't believe Thorin in the slightest, eyes narrowing to him in suspicion. "So now Jansen wolves are farmers? You can wield a blade as well as you rear livestock, hm?" she notes dryly. "You are lying to me, Thorin."

Thorin immediately hops down from the fences and a loud laugh is punched from his lungs. "Noen ganger svirrer de mindre enn kvinner, hva kan jeg si?" his laughter is dirty and sharp, but for all intents and purposes, Thorin adopts a dutiful stance with hands clasping behind his back. Even if Rineike is clearly in a good mood today. He nods thoughtfully about the Jownehs and Crosses, a frown moving over his lips momentarily. "Så de er en stor pakke for oss å hate?" he quizzes in curiosity but a loud laughter follows again. "Jeg har ennå ikke sett dem. Er de penere enn sauene?" his grin returns, more prominent about his brother and he waves a hand, quite willingly, in the direction Loki ran off too. "Han var borte før han hørte reglene om storfeet. Kanskje følg baa'ene og du finner ham."

One Jansen is trouble and any more than that, there's a chaos afoot. Which is why Rineike is immediately stopped from one task when she sees Thorin. He's suspiciously stood on the fencing of the farm area, hardly a natural placement for him. "Det er strenge regler for å knulle disse sauene, Thorin. Get down." anybody would think she isn't joking from her tone barely inching out of it's usual monotony. But, the faint smirk over her lips betrays her. Slowly, Rineike takes a glance around the snow covered farm, as if a Jones wolf will appear now that Thorin has mentioned them. "De er kryssallierte." she answers him before returning her look to him. Another devious smirk. "Selv om det ser ut til at de oppdrar døtrene sine til å være avlsdyr for dem." she adds simply, and now her eyes search for Thorin's counterpart. "Where is Loki?"
