STORM ( i'm thinking kinda first meeting but make it count? maybe some of the HSM/TMTS muses, or age wise there's Nancy Drew, the Glee muses, Lockwood, Mattie from Humans, but feel free to pick any )
STORM : for both muses to find shelter from a severe storm.
Jeremiah had not meant to stray far from the party. he had always enjoyed mingling with the crowd, but he needed a drink and to get away from his brother locking lips with his oldest crush. What he hadn't expected was the absolute torrential down pour smacking against his skin and lungs. The beach being assaulted by the winds torrent. The Cousins house had been overloaded with people he didn't know for the sake of this raucous party. A last FU to his Aunt Julia wanting to wreck their house. In the midst of looking for shelter before the long walk back, he noticed only one other person hiding out. A beautiful girl he had noticed all night with auburn hair and bright eyes. The kind of smart looking that made her seem better than everyone else without noticing it herself. Before thought could dance in his head, he was shrugging off his jacket walking her way. touch was something that came easily to him though the Fisher boy had no interest in scaring the poor woman. "hey!" he tried to yell over the roaring sounds. "I see a spot over here we can wait it out before we walk back to the house. " He didn't like the debris dusting up around them. "My name is Jeremiah Fisher."

His knight in shining armor routine had already failed, it would seem. For she took the fabric for a few moments before giving it back, Jeremiah must have shown more weakness than he wanted. he couldn't take care of his own mother. Couldn't take care of Conrad, Belly, or Steven. Maybe this beautiful stranger had made him wish for the charming good man that he once was. Before anger and despair had danced inside of him. there was a quiet authority about this woman. Made him want to fall in line with what she had to say if only to get that little smile on her face. He was a flirt by nature. though something about her soul called to him more. And he definitely was keeping his eyes on hers to not take in the clinging wet clothing to her smaller frame. Why was he by himself? Well, he didn't want to see Conrad self destruct with another glass of alcohol or watch the burning rubble of the last place his mother's soul lingered in or watch his best friend and could be love of his life lust after his elder brother. It was almost out of body. The surprise of the demons. "A pretty girl like you with something to say, I would have thought you'd have a few boys or girls or in between flirting with you. I was tired of playing host for the moment." Where was Conrad's lighter when you needed it? Still, he was eager to have something to do with his hands than shake or pull her close. "Sure, I don't mind a little scavenger hunt."

It was not his day. Jeremiah hoped that his hair didn’t look like a wet poodle as it was beat around by the elements. His hackles had been up all night though there was a slight melt when she accepted his jacket and the orbit of his arms. Even if the fisher boy wasn’t the one to invite her, it felt like it was his fault. Cousins knew the rising action that was dancing against their souls. A few quick paces had them surrounded by a sea cave. Must have walked farther then he thought. Better the elements and shelter than that teetering lifeguard stand. His smile was more tight than normal. genuine in it’s nature. Parties were his thing. yet, there was nothing quite like the vulnerability of being so close to someone. And he liked a good mystery as much as the next person. His gemstone eyes pick pockets as they ran over her. Shivering himself. “Drenched is a word for it.” he mused good naturedly. things seemed to only pick up outside. The howls not something he looked forward to checking out. “At least, you have decent company. What were you doing all by yourself, Nancy?” Maybe he was a little drunk.

She accepts the jacket LONG ENOUGH for them to get to relative safety, before noticing the way he shivers from the cold. It’s worse, somehow, even though they’re out of the rain, with their clothes all wet. “Here,” She slips out of the jacket and wraps it around his shoulders. She briefly considers just taking her dress off, too, mainly to avoid catching a cold from wearing wet clothes, but it’s probably not the best first impression one can make. Instead, she turns around to look for dry wood, or anything of the like. “Me? Well. I was just taking a walk.” She then tells him over her shoulder. “What about you?” She’s making conversation now, mainly to pass the time. Nancy knows a thing or two about awkward silences, and she’s absolutely not up for that. “Do you think you can help find some dry sticks? I doubt there’ll be any grass, but I’ve got a lighter and we can hopefully make a small fire to dry off.”

Nancy had NEEDED a vacation away from Horseshoe Bay after that last case. Part of her is glad she'd been able to get back into something she loves, but everything that had come with the case, her break up with nick and the near death experiences? Well, she needs a break, even if it's a brief one. Of course she'd also be the one to get caught up in a storm. She'd been invited to this house party, and had forced herself to go in an attempt to have something to do, but honestly? She's not a big party goer, never had been. Now, however, she's soaking wet and also maybe a tiny bit LOST.
It's not until she hears a voice calling out to what she presumes is HER, finding a guy she'd definitely seen around the party waving at her. "Okay!" She calls back, closing the distance between them as she clocks their surroundings. "I'm Nancy! And I'm also incredibly drenched, so let`s go?"
