Currently in the middle of figuring out the design of the playmat for an Aspects of Aurum fundraiser, not sure which to choose from.

Reshir was the first card I made and could be a good face.

In comparison Krie, who doesn’t have an exact design yet, is the face of the next set.

One of my favorite found family themes is in A Road from the Garden by Chrononautical. Kili is raised as a Hobbit and Bilbo's brother, and what ensues is an absolutely epic story with scorching romance (it is rated E!) and heroism and all the while they maintain this beautiful, unshakeable bond of brotherhood that's tested through death and fire, quite literally.

What's probably more along the lines of what you're asking for, though, is An Eye for Quality by Linelen, in which Bilbo/Bella is female and almost immediately adopted by Fíli (and Kili) as they begin the quest, which means he's especially strict with his Uncle when Thorin asks to court Fíli's new little sister ☺️

There is one more I'm thinking of but haven't found the link yet that's post-BotFA and possibly established relationship(?) where each family of dwarves wants to adopt Bilbo and they wait their turn and adopt him one after the other...I think the sons of Fundin were first, then the Ris? There were contracts and gifts and such...I love that kind of found family world building rituals. If I find it I'll come back with the link!

So last January i started keeping a notes page for recording tags that made me laugh or smile. I was reading through them and realized it been over a year since i started. So i decided to post them to make you all smile too. The fandoms are in no specific order, but i did post my favorite tags at the top of each section. I used the ";" as a break between tags. Ao3 uses "," but several tags included their own "," and "#" made things harder to read so i swapped it out for ";"

These tags are 95% from ao3 fics (many of them from the same fics). The other 5% consist of tumblr tags, fic titles, and the occasional author note/funny fic quote that i loved so much i wrote it down. I dont remember what each fic each tag was from*, so please dont ask for links, but as they're tags you should be able to search them in the ao3 search engine. However if you want specification to which character a tag was referring to, i do remember that.
