El 20 de mayo de 2010, un grupo de guerrilleros del ELN entraron armados a la Universidad Nacional, su discurso: levantarse en armas por los estudiantes caídos. Y su estrategia fue muy coherente: hay varios elementos en la imagen que pueden analizarse, por ejemplo, aunque la foto fue tomada por la presencia guerrillera en la universidad, el elemento que más sobresale es aquel que es más común en el escenario: la cara del Che. Aunque no se encuentra en el centro de la imagen, es el primer elemento que reconocemos, no solamente cumple la función de eje, sino que en el evento como tal fue utilizado estratégicamente para respaldar el discurso del ELN; de hecho, para el espectador, la imagen esta tomada de manera que se asocia directamente la relación ideológica guevarista con el grupo guerrillero. De igual manera, el posicionamiento de la bandera no es al azar, se encuentra arriba, no solamente de los guerrilleros, sino del Che y del edificio, no hay nada más icónico de la Universidad Nacional que el Auditorio León de Greiff con la silueta del revolucionario argentino, entonces, la utilización es estratégica para demostrar la reclamación del territorio universitario, se adueña del símbolo y demuestra la apropiación del lugar.

La aparición del Che era necesaria para demostrar la locación del evento, el territorio del que se estaban apropiando, así como el público al que iba dirigido, que culturalmente ha sido catalogado como revolucionario, como consecuencia de muchos de los símbolos de la comunidad universitaria y el movimiento estudiantil, de hecho, el Che Guevara se considera símbolicamente como la personificación de la revolución, por tanto, en la imagen se apela a todos los revolucionarios (jóvenes de la Universidad Nacional) y a los guevaristas (guerrilleros del ELN).

La superposición del ELN sobre el Che, que es llamada actualmente como “la última guerrilla guevarista de América Latina”, relaciona automáticamente importantes símbolos, por ejemplo, Camilo Torres Restrepo, que también están estrechamente relacionados con la identidad universitaria. Además, la pintada del Che ha sufrido cambios significativos a lo largo del tiempo, no solamente cambios físicos (teniendo en cuenta que constantemente está siendo borrado y re-pintado), sino también cambios en su significado, en su utilización, convirtiendose en un “nudo de anacronismos”.

“La imagen es “atemporal”, “absoluta”, “eterna”, que escapa, por esencia, a la historicidad” (Didi-Huberman, 2011), es imposible trazar una línea cronológica con pretensiones evolucionistas sobre el significado del Che en la identidad universitaria, el anacronismo de la imagen se encuentra en nuestra vida diaria en el campus universitario.

His father was of German descent and migrated into the U.S during the Second World War. His book Death in Belmont was based on the situations that he faced while growing up in the Boston Strangler neighborhood. His visits between June 2007 and June 2009 to the eastern Afghanistan, especially the Korengal Valley led to him writing the best-selling book War (2010). The pictures and reports were published in the Vanity Fair 2008 together with the film Restrepo (2008). In global history, war still remains the deadliest conflict. As a result, it affects the society in various ways. To that effect, Junger uses his brilliant and empathetic eye to combat reality; the fear, trust, and honor among men in an extremely difficult situation whose survival is reliant on their total commitment to each other. Junger follows a single platoon in 15 months of duty in one of the most dangerous areas in Afghanistan, Korengal Valley. The men he knew were either killed or wounded and he himself was nearly killed. Using the experiences of these men who are at war, Junger demonstrates what it means to fight, serve, and face mortal danger every day. Collectively, they were known as the “The rock.” War is a narrative relating to warfare. Junger reveals how the power of comradeship sustains the fighting spirit and courage. Junger’s War experience was a different intensity of war experienced by the front-line infantry. The front-line infantry is often initiating attacks and under fire. En el frente de seguridad, Bolívar señaló que sus propuestas giran en torno a la educación bilingüe. todas las escuelas públicas, añadiendo 2.000 agentes de policía a la ciudad cada año y construyendo más de 60 CAI para brindar seguridad.

Juan Daniel Oviedo es un economista y político colombiano que actualmente es director del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (DANE). Recomendó una educación sexual integral y un enfoque diferenciado para fortalecer las vías de atención en casos de violencia.

Diego Molano es un abogado y político colombiano, quien se desempeñó como Ministro de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones de Colombia entre 2010 y 2014.Su propuesta pasaría por establecer tres modalidades: una alimentadora de Transmilenio, otra para movilizarse en las localidades y una última para el turismo. Todas ellas, de acuerdo con Molano, serían financiadas por el Distrito.

Nicolás Ramos es un funcionario público que trabaja en la Alcaldía de Bogotá, Colombia.Nicolás Ramos tiene varias propuestas, entre ellas se destacan la creación de empleo, la mejora de la educación, el fortalecimiento de la seguridad ciudadana y la promoción del desarrollo sostenible.

Rafael Quintero es el actual secretario de Seguridad de la alcaldía de Bogotá, encargado de liderar las políticas y estrategias para garantizar la seguridad ciudadana en la ciudad.Quintero subrayó que su máxima prioridad sería mejorar las condiciones laborales y de seguridad para los artistas y gestores culturales. The multispecies communities of the forest-world; the enchantment of the river; the danger of the plantation:

The aquatic space as assemblage of these dense networks of relations and materiality in the river basins can then be seen [...] where tidal rhythms, mangroves, forests, and trees come together to constitute a world that is enacted minute by minute, day by day, through an infinity of practices that connect a multiplicity of human and nonhuman beings. [The local] “alternative life project,” the demand for a “space for being” for black communities within a wider pluriverse of meaning is under fire. The conflict is not merely about land rights but over the right of being in the world in a particular way. It is an ontological conflict that transcends the mere technocratic aspects of land rights. Even if the relations that keep the mangrove-world always in a state of becoming are always changing, to mess up significantly with them often results in the degradation of such worlds. Such is the case with industrial shrimp farming schemes and oil palm plantations for agro-fuels, which have proliferated in tropical regions in many parts of the world, often built at the expense of mangrove and humid forest lands, with the aim to transform them from ‘worthless swamp’ to agro-industrial complexes (Ogden 2010). Here, of course, we find [...] the conversion of everything that exists in the mangrove-world into ‘nature’ and ‘nature’ into ‘resources’; the effacing of the life-enabling materiality of the entire domains of the inorganic and the non-human, and its treatment as ‘objects’ to be had, destroyed, or extracted; and linking the forest worlds so transformed to ‘world markets’ for profit. In these cases, the insatiable appetite [...] spells out the progressive destruction of the mangrove-world, its ontological capture and reconversion by capital and the State. […] Another clear case [...] comes from the southernmost area in the Colombian Pacific, around the port city of Tumaco. Here, since the early 1980s, the forest has been destroyed and communities displaced to give way to oil palm plantations. Inexistent in the 1970s, by the mid-1990s they had expanded to over 30,000 hectares. The monotony of the plantation – row after row of palm as far as you can see, a green desert of sorts – replaced the diverse, heterogeneous and entangled world of forest and communities. [...] The ‘plantation form’ effaces the relations maintained by the forest-world.
