Mortak Kombat 11's Aftermath brings back Familiar Kombatants, Friendships, and more. #MortalKombat #Robocop #VideoGames #Playstation #Nintendo #Xbox #NetherRealmStudios
Ever since the introduction of the Story-Mode in Mortal Kombat, fans have made it clear that they want more, and the people over at NetherRealm Studios as always, ready to give fans what they want (Unless you’re asking for Mileena, Boon already spoke to fans regarding that issue,) and that is an addition to the continuation of Story Mode!

Aftermath Gameplay Revealed in New Trailer
May 13, 2020 12:10 PM EST
In a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion, we see Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop in action.
Today, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed gameplay for its upcoming fighting game expansion, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath.
youtube
As seen in the video above, gameplay for the upcoming playable fighters Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop is shown. Sheeva definitely has grappler qualities, with some devastating attacks from up close, but it still looks like she has abilities that will allow her to distance herself from her opponent. Fujin looks like a character with tons of combo potential, keeping his opponents up in the air for a ridiculously long time. RoboCop looks tanky with his shield, as well as utilizing a lot of ranged weaponry.
The trailer also flaunts some of the new features coming to Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, specifically Stage Fatalities. We also get good looks at the new Dead Pool, Soul Chamber, Kronika’s Keep, and RetroKade stages.
Personally, this new trailer makes me more excited for the new Mortal Kombat 11 content. I really dig the story from the base game, so continuing that tale will be very interesting. In terms of fighters, I really want to try Fujin. Out of the three, he seems like the character that fits my play style. That doesn’t mean I won’t check out Sheeva or RoboCop, but I’ve never been into tanky or grappler characters. Really, everything about this expansion is getting me hyped, and I can’t wait to hop back into one of my favorite fighting games.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is an expansion for NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s popular fighting game. As mentioned, it will include three DLC characters, new stages, new features (including Stage Fatalities and Friendships), and a brand new story campaign. You can check out our thoughts on the reveal here.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will launch for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, Stadia, and PC on May 26. You can pre-order one of several different packages which will unlock new skins for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Frost with the Eternal Klash Skin Pack.

In Mortal Kombat 11, RoboCop enlists the help of ED-209 • Eurogamer.net
You have 20 seconds to Finish Him!
NetherRealm has offered us a good look at Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath gameplay, including new DLC character RoboCop.
The video shows one of RoboCop’s fatalities, which calls in that good doggy robot ED-209 for some twin mini-gun action. Meanwhile, RoboCop, whose voice and likeness comes from actor Peter Weller, shoots his enemy to bits with the Cobra Assault Cannon, which RoboCop film fans will remember Clarence using to blow up poor Joe’s car.
There are some fun nods to the films in the gameplay. We see RoboCop blowing the hand off the Joker – a clear reference to RoboCop’s infamous “give the man a hand” torture scene. And what’s that? Oh, RoboCop’s not targeting there, is he? Oh. He is. Poor Baraka.
RoboCop has a riot shield that looks like it offers a parry, his Fatal Blow sees him stab his enemy through the belly with his hand spike, and he can fly through the air for a bit. And of course NetherRealm shows the Terminator fighting RoboCop, delighting fans of 80s action movies the world over.
Over on the PlayStation blog, NetherRealm said RoboCop will have both his original RoboCop film grey suit, as well as his bluer RoboCop 2 outfit in the game. RoboCop also gets a NetherRealm Studios version: a Mortal Kombat 3 Cyber Ninja RoboCop variant.
There’s a lot more to the video than RoboCop. We see gameplay of new DLC characters Sheeva and Fujin, as well as new stage fatalities, and new stages including the new Dead Pool, Soul Chamber, Kronika’s Keep and RetroKade, which are set to hit the game alongside the launch of Aftermath.
For more, check out our Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath preview. The expansion goes live from 4pm BST on 26th May.
