when reading x reader stuff do you prefer there to be immediate smut within the first part or are you cool with a buildup of 1-3 chapters before getting 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂

1. If you could trade places with one character (yours or someone else’s) who would it be?

Well, certainly not one of my own. They’ve all got some serious issues. I’m not just gonna let my characters be happy. Seriously, is that even possible? 

So I guess it would have to be someone else’s... Hmm maybe Ronan Lynch. I know he has his problems, but just living on a farm? I’d be down with that. 

2. Who’s your favorite author role model?

Probably John Green and Maggie Stiefvater. Oh and J.K. Rowling. I’m always looking for new role models. 

3. Where’s your favorite place to write?

I don’t really think I’ve found my routine yet. I’ve been living in another country with two roommates for a while now, so I’ve kinda just had to write when I have the opportunity. Normally I just write in the living room or on my bed. 

4. If you could rewrite a famous novel what would it be and how would you change it?

Me? Changing a famous novel? Nah i don’t think so. Or maybe like Twilight or something. I think I actually would be able to improve Twilight by just removing a lot of cringe, maybe add some cool new elements. 

5. What book made you want to write?

I’ve been reading for my entire life, but only started to write recently, so it’s hard to point to one specific novel. The Raven Cycle is a big inspiration for my current WIP though. 

6. Where do you see yourself as a writer in 5 years?

I hope I’m done with my WIP, and maybe even published. I don’t know if I dare to hope for that though. The most important part is that I’m still writing. 

7. What’s your WIP about?

Atlas Falck finds his mother’s old notebook which she wrote when she was trying to find Atlantis. He decides to pick up where she left off, and gathers a group of fellow highschool graduates. They push Atlas to do things he never even would have dreamt of doing on his own, like steal the schoolbus and hitch hike with strange men. But can his mother’s notebook really be trusted? And what about Atlas himself? (This is my first attempt at something resembling a blurb, so don’t judge too harshly). 

8. Favourite bookstore?

We only have three big bookstore chains in Norway, and out of these, ARK is definitely my favourite. They have the biggest selection of English books, which I prefer, and just the biggest selection in general. 

9. What color do you want your first book jacket to be?

When looking at my bookshelf, a huge majority of my books are dark blue, often with a nightsky on it. I usually judge a book by it’s cover, choosing the ones that look appealing to me. And apparently, I’m unexplainably drawn to blue books, so I guess it would only be fitting if my book looked like that as well. 

10. how many words do you plan on your WIP being?

I don’t really want to set a goal for my wordcount, as I want my story to be as long as it naturally turns out to be. I don’t want to add a bunch of stuff that doesn’t fit with my story just to get a higher word count. I am, however, terrified that it will turn out to be waaay too short.
