#riddler: secrets in the dark

HERE IS MY RIDDLER DESIGN! Basically like- how I imagine DC Riddler generally and then Edie is my Riddler in my little universe. But I guess this one could be my Riddler in my little universe too? Crossover episode anyone...?

Also here are the designs separately so you can get a better look. I really like how the suit on the right came out

Also even though his face claim probably won't be Richard Ayoade, I still think his voice claim is.

I just started listening to Riddler: Secrets in the Dark and I love Hasan Minhaj's portrayal of the Riddler. I like that it's from more of the Rogues' perspectives and it's something I want so much more of. Does anyone have comic recommendations for these guys?

give me my boy winston duke back. colman domingo is good but he doesn’t have the same chemistry with hasan ok it’s NOT THE SAME

plot was not as good as unburied but still fun!!

mad about them giving eddie’s sister the last name nygma ngl… i am going to post about this separately bc i have much to say

hasan minhaj carried again! literally love his riddler so much. written perfectly acted perfectly no notes.

not enough babs and when she was there she basically did nothing… i miss her and eddie’s unburied dynamic :(

overall unburied is still like in my top 3 batman media. maybe my number one batman media. riddler: sitd was good but not anywhere near as good as unburied.

i'm not a huge fan of bruce's attitude towards the rogues in the new riddler podcast :/ i'm mostly enjoying it but batman unburied made a fairly big point of how bruce cared about them and didn't just write them off as criminals

In the middle of The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark, and oh my GOD Eddie is so freaking well done. He's so entertaining, charming, witty, clever, scarily competent, yet totally ruthless and a bastard. I can't get over how excellent he is.

I feel like Ms Terry's vibe is a mixture of Secrets in the Dark Riddler, Gotham and Rogues Podcast Riddler.

Like the flamboyant, flirtatiousness of Tr:sitd's Riddler, backstory stuff (used to be a forensic analyst, bullied etc) of Gotham's Riddler and the narcissism of Rogues Riddler.

Does that make sense? Idk

Hi I just saw your post from two weeks ago about Secrets in the Dark and figured I'd ask if you still want comic recommendations and for which of the characters? :)

Also have you listened to Batman Unburied, the podcast that one's a spin-off too?

Ah!! I'm not used to getting asks, but yes, I would love comic recs for I guess members of the Rogue's Gallery like, begrudgingly working with the Bats to solve crimes that affect them. That or the comics where the villains are at least ya know, slightly sympathetic to an everyman

I'm also not sure if I knew it was a spin off ahaha, oops 😅 I'll certainly listen to it though! I've just always loved the Riddler portrayals I've seen between film and TV, and should definitely get back into comics lol
