We all know Al-An is immortal. But once Robin dies, not long after a bird hes never seen begins to follow him everywhere. He dosent pay it any mind at first. But when its the only one by his side when hes submerged in grief he grows fond of it. Once it dies hes a little sad but he knew it would happen.

And only a few months later, in another planet, a new bird of a diferent species shows up. Just as stubborn and clingy as the last one.

This happens many more times over ceveral decades.

He feels so stupid when he figures it out.

he will not let anyone harm her

for she saved him

he nurses her back to health when she is injured, he provides her heat from his mechanical body when the winds are harsh and frigid

she is his only company and he cherishes every word that spills from her mouth

his dearest friend

he is forever in her debt

Look, so, Al-an doesn't really use his organic arms for much it seems. Apparently according to the data on his form there's some sort of energy storage in them? (I think he could probably smack a bitch up like those weird shrimp that blast prey at the speed of sound or something) but also alternative use for his organic arms. They are very obviously at perfect height and width for cradling Robin against his chest like a baby. Come on it's so obvious!!!!!!!!!
