🤔 #PSA from @19_keys Even though de-funding the system and putting those resources in better places to drive down crimes and change the reality of America’s over policed neighborhoods is a good start, we have to see the long play at hand. We must realize we are in a chess game which plays into the hands of Mobilization, Automation, Digitization. The New America’s Model for a new world, which looks like a technological shift from human stock such as police officers that cost states billions to AI powered , drones , cctv , robots , invasive tracking all powered by 5g networks is in effect. And the moral thesis of using technology instead of humans is that you strip implicit bias , unconscious stereotyping and treat all people fairly regarding of race , sex , class , religion etc . This is sounds good until you factor in tech bias which originates from programmers and coders themselves. Such bias can be seen in facial recognition programs such as amazon facial recognition program which matched black Congress members with criminals . Remember when white voices and white coders create the algorithm it’s already inherently bias @iddrussandu was the first to bring the subject of tech bias to my attention .
