Nico: Yes, definitely. She drinks a bit more frequently than Suyaya but also knows like 20 different hangover cures and preventions of varying degrees of success.

So it turns out my new favorite activity in this game is making my non-lala characters stand next to characters just to process what characters are actually just fucking huge, since my first impressions on every NPC was compared to a lalafell WoL.

...actually its kinda not fair using Nico bc female auri are tiny things and she's min height on top of that but AHQAHLI IS A CAREFULLY CALCULATED 5'7".

Pretty sure I made Suyaya's birthday May 5th because of Children's Day being a common pick for anime/manga characters's birthdays, and because I initially envisioned her as a Taurus lmao (these days she might not really pass for a Taurus I think...)

Ahqah'li's birthday is February 14th, like the non-FF OC he originated as. The logic there was me being 11 and going "What if I made my super hot anime boy's birthday be the LOVE HOLIDAY!!!" and now Ahqah'li has to live with his birthday falling during Valentione's Day festivities.

Nico's birthday is March 9th, like myself, because she was originally a self insert that got out of hand. Now she's decidedly Not That but it's an easy birthday to remember so I refuse to change it.

Thinking about the Suyaya lore I can't share on main because it involves Endwalker spoilers.

So like. I envision her version of the Echo as being more of an Empath kind of thing, her being more sensitive to dynamis and whatnot because her actual aetheric levels are low (think barely above Cocobusi from the Thaumaturge quests in terms of low aetheric levels).

WHICH ACTUALLY! Is why she's such an exemplary Bard! Her battlesongs are so potent because she literally *can* feel her comrades's emotions in battle, and in fact always can (because her Echo never turns off, even if there are times she wish it could). It's explicit that Bards get their power from emotions and empathy, which synergizes PERFECTLY with what we learn about dynamis/akasha in Endwalker.

You know, I expected a lot from Endwalker and it really did deliver above and beyond those expectations but I didn't exactly expect it to hand me some perfect fuel for Suyaya lore on a silver platter.
