ROKSANA SIRSK -  CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

BASICS -

1. Height?

Roksana is 5’4.

2. Eye colour?

Dark brown.

3. Do they need glasses?

Nah baby this human has 20/20 vision and can see in regular and magical darkness for 120 feet. It’s an invocation, but she will claim she’s just more evolved than most humans.

4. Scars and birthmark?

She has quite a few prominent scars on her hands from burns and cuts when she was training as a blacksmith. She also has a long, vertical scar beneath her ribs from a job that went sideways. She almost died before getting to a cleric; she doesn’t talk about it.

5. Tattoos and piercings?

On her right ear she has 3 lobe piercings, an industrial and a forward helix, and on her left she has a helix, a tragus, and 3 lobe piercings. As for tattoos, she has the symbols of Dol Arrah, Milil, Lathander, and the Raven Queen down her left forearm, and the symbols of Dol Dorn, Tymora, Malar, Sune down her right forearm.

6. Right or left handed?

Sana does most things with her right hand, but she’s trained herself to be useful with both in battle.

7. Any disabilities? Physical or mental.

Sana has lost most of the hearing in her left ear, and as such is hard of hearing.

8. Do they have any allergies?

Roksana is allergic to dogs and NO ONE is allowed to talk to her about it. 

9. Favourite colour?

Black, or navy blue. 

10. Typical outfits?

Sana likes well-made clothing, and most of her spending is on clothes. She wears mostly black and white. A lot of her tops are blouses, often sporting either lace, embroidery, or flowy sleeves. She loves elaborate dresses, corsets worn in untraditional ways, and interesting belt buckles. If she’s on a job, she wears a breastplate underneath a cloak or a powerful-looking coat. She’s also a fan of leather gloves.

11. Do they wear any makeup?

Sana rarely wears makeup, but she can’t resist a bit of eyeliner here and there.

12. What weapon do they use, if any?

She almost exclusively uses Obit, which is both her pact blade and her spellcasting focus. Obit likes to call itself Darthranok, and speaks to her telepathically. 

PERSONALITY -

13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

Sana considers herself a realist, which is to say...she’s mostly pessimistic. If she has any optimism left, it resides in Zari, who does her best to see the light in every situation when Sana is focusing on solutions. She doesn’t waste a lot of time on pessimism, but she certainly doesn’t expect anything good from others or from any situation she walks into.

14. Are they introverted or extroverted?

Introverted. Definitely charismatic and a skilled socializer, but she only gains energy when she’s alone or only around people who are close to her.

15. What are their pet peeves?

Most of Sana’s pet peeves are exhibited by her clients. She hates when people explain things slowly when she didn’t ask them to, she hates when people aren’t punctual - particularly with their payments - and she hates when people act like they know her. Above all, she hates being pitied, and even annoys herself when she gets caught up in the habit of self-pitying. Some smaller pet peeves include loud chewers, Zari wearing her clothes, and people standing too close to her.

16. What bad habits do they have?

She picks at her nails, leans back in pretty much every chair she sits in, and leaves loose strands of hair littered about the house. She always thinks she’s right, she consistently asks too much for the jobs she undertakes, and she tries to get to know people without letting them know her.

17. Do they have any phobias?

The most constant fear she has, the one that gives her the most nightmares, is losing Zari. When she’s away from Khaggon, it often keeps her up at night and she’s considering bringing her sister along on all her jobs again.

18. How do they display affection?

Acts of service all the way. She doesn’t get close with many people, but when she does choose to let someone in she’s very all-or-nothing. She will go out of her way to get that person what they need, and loves to provide for the people she loves. She’s not especially physically affectionate, but when she’s exhausted she can’t deny that she likes to cuddle.

19. How competitive are they?

Oh, god. You don’t wanna know. If she gets even the slightest idea that someone’s coming for her job or for her money, she will go to extreme lengths to make sure they never try that again. She also tends to swear and yell a bit too much when playing card games.

20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

She’d like to be a bit softer, a bit more trusting, a bit more open-hearted - if she could manage.

21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines?

She loves making her own knives, especially ones that are just for display with elaborate handles. For the past five years, she’s had an omelette for breakfast every morning that she hasn’t been in the wild or otherwise incapacitated. She reorganizes her closet and jewelry once or twice a month, just for kicks. She likes to gamble.

BACKSTORY -

22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc.

Zari, her sister, is thirteen. Esfir, her mother, would be fifty-two, and her father, Ashkin, would be fifty-one. Roksana was also close to her maternal grandmother, Shirin, who would be eighty-five now.

23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them?

Esfir and Ashkin have been dead for almost three and thirteen years respectively, and Shirin has been dead for eight years. Her sister is very much alive, and very much in contact with her.

24. Where are they from? City, nation?

Runswick born-and-raised, though she currently lives in Khaggon. 

25. Did they have a childhood best friend?

Ever since she can remember, Sana’s best friend has been a girl named Evangeline. She’s a wealthy merchant’s daughter, and has recently started a family in Runswick. They rarely see each other anymore, but they do still write to each other.

26. Have they had any pets?

The only pet she had growing up was a cat named Stinky. She found him as a stray when she was ten, and he had an incredibly pungent smell. Since then, she always wanted a dog, but their fur gives her hives and their dandruff stuffs her up - so, instead, she got Zari a gray tabby. (Zari’s always liked cats better, anyway.) Her sister named him Quincy, and though Sana is sure he’ll never be as great as Stinky, she is glad that Zari has company when she’s away. 

27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like?

Sana lived in a small home, and had very little excess in her upbringing. Her parents were both righteous and honorable, and usually found that justice was all the payment they needed for their adventures. They did, however, provide Sana and Zari with what they needed, though some months were pretty tight.

28. What is their educational background?

Sana was taught by Evangeline’s governess until she was fifteen.

29. As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up?

Until her father died, she thought perhaps she would be a paladin just like her parents. Then she wanted to be a blacksmith, of course.

30. What advice would they give to their younger self?

Honestly, she’d probably try to dash her hopes earlier in life. She’d tell herself to get used to things not going right. She’d probably be a badder bitch if she let go of childish dreams earlier on. This, however, is far from any advice she’d ever give to Zari.

31. Growing up, were they ever bullied or were they the bully?

She probably made fun of a boy here and there, but she was never bullied. In fact, after her father died, she was treated with so much pity that it makes her gag thinking about it. Even the children in her neighborhood acted like she was fragile.

32. Who do they look up to/who is their role model?

Herself, tbh. But also Zari, because she’s extremely emotionally intelligent and good at a lot of things that she struggles with.

PRESENT -

33. Do they currently have a place of residence?

Yes, she has a small home in Khaggon that she paid for in coin.

34. What is their most treasured possession?

If not Obit, then this particularly sharp and rad dagger that she made herself with a raven’s head as the hilt.

35. What is their drink of choice?

Any sort of liquor. She likes shots.

36. Which king/queen are they loyal to, if any?

Rolland, if she has to choose. She surely doesn’t trust him, but Hegaehend is her home, and she won’t side with anyone who’s trying to invade it.

37. Have they ever killed anyone?

Oh, yeah. She’d never call herself an assassin, but she has been paid to kill specific marks, or paid to finish jobs that had no restrictions on who was left dead or alive. Her sword also feeds on life force, and she doesn’t want to know what will happen if it gets too hungry.

38. What was their last promise and did they keep it?

She promises Zari that she’ll be safe every time she leaves, and she hasn’t died yet, so she considers that a promise kept.

LOVE -

39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one?

Sloppy, gross. She was thirteen and had a crush on the guy for an entire year, and then everything good she’d ever thought about him disappeared when he shoved his tongue down her throat. He tasted like ham.

40. Are they in a relationship/have a love interest?

Nope. She has friends with benefits scattered here and there, but she wouldn’t consider them love interests.

41. Have they ever been in love?

Yes. When Sana was twenty-one, she fell head-over-heels with a half-elf named Mikas. They’d grown up in the same social circle, and he had a tendency to flirt with everyone in that social circle. But after a long night out and a talk under the stars, things were different between them. They were inseparable for a year, and it was a good year, but after that year came two more years that were much less enjoyable.

42. Have they ever had their heart broken?

Of course. She gave her all in the relationship with Mikas. It was the most vulnerable she’d ever been with someone, and he probably still knows her better than anyone. But he still didn’t want to be with her. After that one good year, he stopped trying. He stopped finding time to spend with her, stopped making her feel heard, and then he left her for some girl he hardly knew. Now, she won’t accept anything less than 100% effort from a romantic partner - not that she particularly wants one.

SPIRITUALITY -

43. Do they follow a god, if so who?

Nope! She has those religious symbols tattooed on her mostly as a joke. Probably insensitive, but she likes to keep people guessing about what her religious background is. She’s also still pretty bitter about gods and what they expect of their champions.

44. What do they think happens to them after death?

Regardless of her religious beliefs, she likes to believe in an afterlife. She’s seen ghosts and other kinds of spirits, and she likes to believe that if someone deserves to live on past their mortal life, then they will. It helps her sleep at night to think that the people she kills will live on if they deserve to, and that if they don’t deserve to, then she did the world a service.

45. What is their spirit animal?

Listen I know I said lion for Avi, but she’s a Leo so how can I not say lion…….otherwise maybe a raven or smth.

4. Scars and birthmark? Rexly has a few scars on his legs from getting caught on barbed wire. His right horn is broken. 

5. Tattoos and piercings? He doesn’t have any tattoos but he has his ears pierced. On each ear he has two helix piercings and his earlobes pierced. 

6. Right or left handed? Rexly is right handed.

7. Any disabilities? Physical or mental. None he’s just stupid honestly 

8. Do they have any allergies? He’s allergic to capitalist and nobility bullshit. (he doesn’t have any allergies)

9. Favourite colour? His favorite colour is red

10. Typical outfits? Rexly typically wears poet shirts or shirts with low necklines, high waisted or leather pants and a pair of leather boots. If it’s cold he’ll take a jacket or a duster out with him. If he’s going to a fancy party he’ll wear more formal clothing and gold tips on his horns (mostly to hide his broken horn)

11. Do they wear any makeup? Rexly sometimes wears a little bit of eyeliner and paints his nails if he’s going to a fancy party. He’ll do heavier make up if he’s on a job playing one of his characters 

12. What weapon do they use, if any? Rexly’s preferred weapons are rapiers and daggers. He can use a short bow or a crossbow too. 

PERSONALITY -

13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic? Rexly is more of a pessimist with low expectations. It’s harder to be disappointed that way. 

14. Are they introverted or extroverted? Rexly is extroverted. 

15. What are their pet peeves? He hates people chewing with their mouths open, and people scraping their forks on plates.

16. What bad habits do they have? He bites his lips when he’s nervous, he smokes, he fidgets when he can’t concentrate. 

17. Do they have any phobias? Water. He can swim but if it can be avoided it will be. 

18. How do they display affection? Rexly’s very touchy, if you’re dating him he’s a little possessive, he likes to hold hands, give nicknames. 

19. How competitive are they? He’s very competitive if you dare him to do something he’s going to do it. 

20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be? Physically he’d like to fix his right horn, he thinks it makes him fugly.  21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines? Rexly likes to go to the theater, he enjoys cooking and has a soft spot for reading romance novels.

BACKSTORY -

22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc. Mother: Tilda, 60 Father: Vigil, MIA absent father  

23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them? Rexly still sends money home to his mother but they’re not on speaking terms. He hasn’t seen his father since he was a child. 24. Where are they from? City, nation? Rexly’s from  Itresa, Eowesoa  25. Did they have a childhood best friend? Rexly had a few childhood friends he used to play with and steal with, but most of them are working on the plantations now.  26. Have they had any pets? Rexly hasn’t had any pets but he’d consider having a cat.  27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like? Rexly grew up with his mother in a small two roomed flat in Itresa. He grew up pretty poor his mother was a single parent trying to support them both. He was lucky compared to the people who grew up homeless but it was still pretty tough for his mother.  28. What is their educational background? Rexly didn’t go to school but his mother taught him how to read, write and count. He has no formal education but he likes to read.  29. As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up? As a child Rexly wanted to be a swashbuckler like the hero from his favourite book series but being scared of water didn’t let that happen.  30. What advice would they give to their younger self? He’d tell his younger self to be more careful when stealing and not to take up smoking. 

31. Growing up, were they ever bullied or were they the bully? Rexly didn’t bully anyone or get bullied but he did terrorize the local fruit stand every morning for breakfast. 

32. Who do they look up to/who is their role model? As a child Rexly used to look up to the older thieves he used to run with, one in particular he considered to be like a father figure to him.

33. Do they currently have a place of residence? Rexly lives in a rented flat in Khaggon. It’s in a bad area of town but so long as you look like you fit in no one pays you any attention or starts shit.  34. What is their most treasured possession? His books. He has a collection of his favorites, mostly romance novels as they’re cheap and easy reads.

35. What is their drink of choice? He’s not fussy and he’ll drink pretty much anything but he likes whiskey. 36. Which king/queen are they loyal to, if any? None he hates the monarchy and given the chance he would guillotine them.   37. Have they ever killed anyone? Yeah he’s killed before, sometimes shit happens and you end up in that situation it’s not a big deal.  38. What was their last promise and did they keep it? Rexly can’t remember the last promise he made. If he did make one it wasn’t sincere. 

LOVE -

39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one? It was innocent, before he started big time stealing. It was with a boy he used hang out with as a tween. 40. Are they in a relationship/have a love interest? Rexly is single he doesn’t have a love interest but he’s open to the idea.  41. Have they ever been in love? Rexly’s not sure if he’s ever been in love. He’s dated, he’s broken hearts but he’s never really had a relationship that got serious or was more than friends with benefits. 42. Have they ever had their heart broken? Rexly’s never had his heart broken but he’s broken many in Eowesoa

Player Task 001: Character Development. 

BASICS

1. Height?

I'm 5'7".

2. Eye colour?

...green, though Haruhime called it forest green.

3. Do they need glasses?

I don't. I have a hunter's eyesight.

4. Scars and birthmark?

None.

5. Tattoos and piercings?

None. I was thinking of getting the same tattoos as Haruhime, though. Hers were amazing.

6. Right or left handed?

Both. (He is ambidextrous.)

7. Any disabilities? Physical or mental.

None.

8. Do they have any allergies?

I'm not sure. I got sick after eating crabs once but I did eat a lot of them that one time and I haven't gotten sick from eating crabs since.

9. Favourite colour?

Green. Sometimes red.

10. Typical outfits?

My kannushi clothes. My mentor Ryuki gifted them to me, so they're...nice.

11. Do they wear any makeup?

Nope.

12. What weapon do they use, if any?

I use my ceremonial scimitar, which is basically just a normal scimitar but with the Sai family's special emblem. They're very traditional, you know.

PERSONALITY

13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

I'd say I'm both. (Nope, he's very pessimistic. He only gets optimistic for money.)

14. Are they introverted or extroverted?

Extroverted. (Nope. They were extroverted before but the Sai family tragedy has since turned them introverted. They do get extroverted for money or when drunk but by default they've since been introverted.)

15. What are their pet peeves?

...questions. Lots and lots of them. (Also, anything that smells bad. His senses are heightened somewhat.)

16. What bad habits do they have?

None...of your business. (They can be very moody and antisocial. Their habit of keeping secrets can be terrible as well, especially if it ends up to the detriment of their allies.)

17. Do they have any phobias?

I fear nothing. (He's afraid of spiders, well, getting surprised by them at least, and flying roaches.)

18. How do they display affection?

I don't. (He used to be very touchy and even wrote poetry for Haruhime before. These days, he rarely does, unless it's for money or when he's drunk.)

19. How competitive are they?

Eh, not very. (He is secretly super competitive but only with things like hunting, tracking, basically things that he associates he worth with.)

20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

Nothing. I'm perfect the way I am. (He secretly wants to change his heritage. He sometimes believes that if he wasn't who he was born as, the Sais wouldn't have suffered their tragedy.)

21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines?

Nope. (He observes what can only be described as the equivalent of real-world Shinto worship to Melora. He also has a soft spot for incense, tea ceremonies, and for some strange reason, flower decoration.)

BACKSTORY

22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc.

The Sais, master Ryuki and Haruhime, were my family. Master was old enough to be my father and Haruhime was around my age when we first met. (Cinder never met his real parents, as he was abandoned as a child. He does not know where his parents are if they are even still alive today or if he had any siblings.)

23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them?

...no. (The Sais passed away after suffering a tragedy, and his last contact with Ichi, Haruhime's cousin, was three years ago. He has no idea if his biological family is alive, having never met them.)

24. Where are they from? City, nation?

I'm from the far east, where cherry blossoms bloom and snow falls.

25. Did they have a childhood best friend?

Yes. Her name was Haruhime.

26. Have they had any pets?

No. I am usually the pet.

27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like?

I had to fend for myself growing up when my family abandoned me as a child. That was, until I met the Sais who accepted me as their own. We lived simply, neither rich nor poor, in the service of the Sai family shrine.

28. What is their educational background?

I was mostly taught by the Sais. (He was tutored, basically home-schooled, by the Sais. He is surprisingly very literate and well-versed in magic, which he refers to as his "okurimono," and religion, specifically everything involving Melora.)

29. As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up?

I wanted for nothing but to live with the Sais until my last.

30. What advice would they give to their younger self?

...to never leave the Sais' side and protect them at all cost, even if it means your own life. There is nothing else past them, only sorrow and despair.

31. Growing up, were they ever bullied or were they the bully?

Neither. (He was most definitely bullied for being a homeless runt...until the beast within scared his bullies off. Then he was chased away by concerned parents.)

32. Who do they look up to/who is their role model?

Haruhime...and Ryuki. (Cinder didn't just love Haruhime. He actually looked up to her as a role model and saw her as his hero, being everything he wished he could have. Ryuki was more of a father figure to him, having taught him most of what he knows, than a role model, but he does admire his patience and commitment.)

PRESENT

33. Do they currently have a place of residence?

...yes? (Technically, no. He does have a room at Lunacrest, sort of, but he's always scrambling to pay his rent. The only reason he still have it is because the owner takes pity on him after accidentally hearing his story from a drunk Cinder, extending his due date whenever he can. Cinder also often wakes up in random stables, sometimes right outside the gates, after nights of heavy drinking.)

34. What is their most treasured possession?

My kannushi clothes. My ceremonial scimitar. The things that remind me of home and the Sais.

35. What is their drink of choice?

...the Redheaded Harlot. (Deep amber red and thick like blood, this shot is supposed named after a tavern's best lady of the evening. Made from fermented berries, Tree Ent Root, and Deer's blood, the rim of its flagon or glass is usually also coated in honey and dipped in a red sweet powder that is to be licked before pounding down the drink. It is said that all who drink this become very charismatic towards the opposite sex for the entire time the drink is in their system.)

36. Which king/queen are they loyal to, if any?

Whoever will pay me the most, of course. My loyalty is for sale to the highest bidder.

37. Have they ever killed anyone?

... (He has, though he never speaks of such tragedies.)

38. What was their last promise and did they keep it?

... (He promised the dying Haruhime that he would live his life like she did hers, without bitterness and anger. Clearly, he has failed to keep it. He had tried before but he just couldn't keep to it.)

LOVE

39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one?

It was...the best feeling I've ever had. (It was actually pretty brief, as it was an accidental kiss between him and Haruhime. She was trying to surprise him with a peck on the cheek but he turned to look at her, curious at what she was doing.)

40. Are they in a relationship/have a love interest?

... (Haruhime was the love of his life, and he believes he will never love another.)

41. Have they ever been in love?

...yes.

42. Have they ever had their heart broken?

... (Haruhime's untimely passing broke not only his heart but also his spirit. He hasn't been the same since.)

I follow Melora, though the Sais know her by a different name. I used to know her by a different name as well, but names are less important than what they do.

44. What do they think happens to them after death?

I'll be reunited with the Sais again.

A wolf...or maybe a fox. Both?

Character Development Questionnaire: Ash (ft. Personas)

“I see... What do you wish to know?”

BASICS - 1. Height? Ash is 5′7″, Mairead is 5′4″ and Darragh is 5′11″.

2. Eye colour? Ash: white, Mairead: hazel, Darragh: green.

3. Do they need glasses? No need for glasses.

4. Scars and birthmark? Being a close combat fighter, Ash has a number of scars from their time under Lord Grey’s tutelage and the time after. Most of them are from sharp trauma like swords and daggers. None of them appear on their personas unless it was received while in that persona.

5. Tattoos and piercings? Ash has none of those themselves, but they have a number of tattoos with floral and celestial themes as Darragh. Mostly to try it out and see how they feel about it.

6. Right or left handed? Ash is ambidextrous.

7. Any disabilities? Physical or mental. Not really. Ash has a tendency to be a ball of anxiety at times, which can cripple their decision-making, but they usually have it under control (read: they’ve gotten better at internalizing their struggles).

8. Do they have any allergies? No.

9. Favourite colour? Ash likes soft colors and pastels, despite their bright and outlandish outfits as Darragh and their muted colors as Mairead.

10. Typical outfits? When they are themselves, they tend to keep it simple with a pop of color. Their outfits are usually flexible and practical in case of a sudden change in persona or a need to escape. They don’t dress to be seen, most of the time.

11. Do they wear any makeup? As Ash, no. As Darragh, absolutely. Mostly eyeliner.

12. What weapon do they use, if any? Ash is mostly a fan of rapiers and daggers, but they also wield their magic quite a bit.

PERSONALITY - 13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic? A cautiously hopeful optimist.

14. Are they introverted or extroverted? Definitely an extrovert, despite what some of their actions might imply. They’re not a shy person, just a little quiet.

15. What are their pet peeves? Prejudice towards changelings, bad acting, out of tune music, awful singing, poems that don’t rhyme when they should.

16. What bad habits do they have? They have a tendency to run away when things get too much. It’s a coping mechanism, but they’re trying to improve on it. They’re also loud when they drink anything.

17. Do they have any phobias? No.

18. How do they display affection? Depends on the persona, but they are in general big on physical affection with loved ones. Hugs, kisses on the cheeks and forehead, arm around shoulders, etc. Darragh is big on pet names.

19. How competitive are they? They enjoy a good challenge every now and then, but they’re too wise to say yes to every dare that comes their way.

20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be? Their anxiety. It is at times crippling to them, and they wish they were better at handling situations and people when they’re stressed. As adaptable as they are, anxiety doesn’t discriminate.

21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines? They like to sew, having made many of the clothes and costumes that they make use of. Sewing is a great way to destress, and they become very focused when they’re into it.

BACKSTORY - 22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc. The only family member that Ash is aware of is their parent, Joss. They are currently 48 years old.

23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them? Joss is indeed alive, and Ash visits them fairly often. They often go out together in their respective personas or - if they’re feeling particularly daring - as themselves. If trouble arises, they’ll just be someone else next time.

24. Where are they from? City, nation? Ash has never been one to see anywhere as a particular home, but if they had to pick a place, it would be Myrefall, which is where they were raised.

25. Did they have a childhood best friend? No. Growing up with the theater troupe, they were the only child apart from the youths that would come and go with the plays.

26. Have they had any pets? Ash had a cat at one point named Shadow. Guess where the name came from. It was a mouser at the House of Meridian.

27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like? Ash didn’t have the most splendid of surroundings as it was restricted to the theater and whatever place they and their parent could afford. They had a roof over their head and warm food most days, so it was far from bad.

28. What is their educational background? In their younger years, it was limited to whatever Joss and the troupe could teach them and what they could glean by themselves, but after they became sponsored by Lord Grey, they learned a far bit more, mostly in the realm of etiquette, oratory, rhetorics and language.

29. As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up? They wanted to be a musician when they grew up.

30. What advice would they give to their younger self? “The world is a cruel place, but don’t let that make you stay in the shadows.”

31. Growing up, were they ever bullied or were they the bully? Aside from good-natured teasing by the troupe and a couple of mean street kids who discovered their true nature, no. Ash was always pretty good at making people like them or make them focus their cruelty elsewhere.

32. Who do they look up to/who is their role model? Their parent, Joss.

PRESENT - 33. Do they currently have a place of residence? They stay at the House of Meridian whenever they’re in Myrefall, but otherwise they stay wherever they can afford to stay.

34. What is their most treasured possession? Their lute. It was a good investment and a treasured piece of instrument.

35. What is their drink of choice? Ale. Simple, tried and true.

36. Which king/queen are they loyal to, if any? They’re not really loyal to any of them, but they have monarchs they prefer over others.

37. Have they ever killed anyone? Yes.

38. What was their last promise and did they keep it? They promised Lord Grey to stay out of trouble and not to blow their cover. It ... didn’t go too well.

LOVE - 39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one? It was awkward as first kisses tend to be.

40. Are they in a relationship/have a love interest? They don’t have a current love interest, although they’re open for it.

41. Have they ever been in love? Yes.

42. Have they ever had their heart broken? Unknown.

SPIRITUALITY - 43. Do they follow a god, if so who?  They don’t really follow any particular god. They are aware of their existence and their worships, and they’ll swing by some of them every now and then to pray for luck or safe passage or whatever, but they’re not a one-god-only type of person.

44. What do they think happens to them after death? Hopefully no more pain.

45. What is their spirit animal? A chameleon.

Efrain A. Crayhorn - Player Task 003 - Sci-Fi AU. Legally, Efrain never existed. He was once Aro Glynwarren, a sick street kid the business mogul and politician Eobald Crayhorn picked up in secret with promises of health and grandeur, but not anymore. Now he’s the “artificial” intelligence programmed into every Crayhorn Estate Hotel. He appears holographically anywhere, at anytime, within every Estate establishment. He offers hospitality, protection, and top-notch customer service to any paying tenant. With complete control of the automated buildings, a work of programming genius from Eobald, he’s the sole operator of the business. He knows, however, that somewhere he has a body. Not the real one, obviously as that one is long disposed of, but originally he wasn’t meant to be the perfect hotel host. Originally, he was going to be a soldier, his mind stuffed into a manufactured body of metal and silicone to serve a different purpose. If he can only find that body, hidden in one of the Estates by the now-dead Eobald, and change his own programming, he can finally escape his prison of hotel hospitality. 

Weasel is an autonomous anti-virus AI of his own creation. Like him, there’s a Weasel the (Robotic) Cat in every Estate to protect his programming against would-be hackers.

I want you to think of a moment in your characters lives that heavily impacted them as a person. Now imagine instead of how it originally played out, the complete opposite actually happened.

For this task I want you to create paragraphs showing your characters in what-if scenarios. These scenarios have to take something significant from your characters lives and flip it on its head.

The paragraph should be wrote out as if your character is living out a scene in their lives from this other timeline where things were different due to that moment.

Some examples may be:

What if Thalra had become the thief instead of the courtesan.

What if Efrain had never been sold to Eobald.

What if Eamon's wife had survived.

What if Jax had been able to save their dad.

What if Mazek hadn’t made the deal with his patron.
