i cant stop thinkign about dean and rowena's stupid fucking disguises in season 11. rowena literally has a spell for immortality and apparently her go-to disguise is a spirit halloween wig. also sam istn wearing a disguise in this scene so i can almost guarantee that he told dean that rowena was wearing a wig and dean was like oh? disguises? costume time??? the worst part is she didtn immediately recognize him. how are they still alive. stupid. youre boht so fucking stupid /affectionate

Writing down my completely self indulgent current late night mind fic to remember for later: post finale Sam and Dean retire from physical hunting, taking on a more Bobby type role and enjoy their retirement with miracle. The bunker is underneath an abandoned power plant, so they use a little magical help, some contractors, and a lot of elbow grease to refurbish into a home. They enjoy out their retirement, helping research for hunters and being a safe house for them to lay low. Okay day a hunter comes in with toddlers, a boy and a girl, saying that he saved them from a monster but wasn’t able to save the parents and doesn’t know what to do with them. Sam and Dean after some long consideration take in the children to raise. Que a montage of very domestic parent!winchester moments and them dealing with like bake sales, teacher conferences, etc. the kids deal with teenage life, living in a top secret bunker, having an extended adoptive family (Jody and the girls, Garth family), and being different from their peers. The kids don’t know their parents are brothers but they do know about the supernatural. Eventually Sam and Dean die, the kids inherit everything and they find out the truth and learn about what their parents were really like.

insane op shop luck today. not ONLY did I find a pair of comfy pants that fit and I can wear to work (first pair in a literal decade), not ONLY did I find a suitable bag for taking to work with sufficient but not excessive space for the things I need in it, but I ALSO found one of those vintage fold down desks I've been looking for that - get this - is EXACTLY to the millimetre the same height as the space under the window I wanted to put it
