I'm not a geo/space-political egghead or anything like that, but don't you think it's kinda messed up that Earth is overly represented in the Green Lantern Corp. Compared to other planets?

Kyle: I hate to admit this, but Guy here have a point. Why do we have so many Green Lanterns from Earth anyway? Heck! I got to be one and all I had to do is be in the right place in the right time.

Hal: Huh? You know I never thought about it like that. And this kind of put all the Alien attacks we had into a new perspective. Do you think they attacked us because we have too many influence in galactic affairs? I mean Green Lantern aside there's too many notable humans in Galaxy despite us not being a space faring species.

Jo: This is definitely gonna make my assignment to the Far Sector a lot more problematic. I'm in the same boat as Kyle I was personally recruited by the Guardian in a club. I don't think that's normally how you get the ring.

John: What the heck with there's more humans in the Lantern Corp. Has to do with anything? All of us are Green Lanterns now and there's no changing that. Whether the ring chose us or the Guardians did, matters little, we still have the responsibility of a Lantern. And I don't think they are wrong in making their choices.

Simon: You said it John. You said it... Argus you getting any of this?

Meanwhile at Argus...

Amanda Waller: We hear you loud and clear Agent Baz. Make sure you keep them talking as much as you can. We need as much info as we can get from this glow in the dark clowns. Junior! Keep giving me constant updates on the Green Lanterns situation. You got that?

The Reality War

Summary: Anita’s back! She conveniently opens a door in the Time Hotel in order to save the Doctor and then, sadly, spends the rest of the episode…just holding a door.  Ah, well.  Belinda gets shoved in a box with her newfound daughter, Ruby saves Conrad by wishing him happiness, the Doctor stuffs Omega back into his prison and everything goes back to normal.  And THEN it starts to unravel; though, for a moment, I was so excited to see an old face, I almost didn’t notice.  Farewell, Ncuti – you deserved so much more.

White wings like her own, wrapped around her. She missed the days when they could engulf her, but that was when she was younger. Her father hadn't known that privilege and the comfort it gave growing up. She would happily offer it up. Her own wings wrapped around him as they embraced.

He smiled and reached up a hand to caress her face.

"I don't care how big you get," He said tenderly. "You're still my little ruby. Oh, I'm so proud of you. You're so beautiful and powerful."

She smiled, "Thank you, Father. I have missed you so much."

Lilit buried her head into his shoulder, breathing in his smell. Tears pricked her eyes. She thought she'd never smell it again. Never see him again. Whatever miracle this was, she wasn't about to waste it. Especially if it wasn't permanent.

She puled back and took hold of his hands.

"There's those I think you'd like to meet," she told him.

She guided the angel back to the living room. They would all either be in there or nearby at this time.

Selene was waiting by the door, grinning.

"I could sense you both coming," she explained.

"Go get Riverine," Lilith told her.

Selene half skipped, half ran out. Akasha stood from her seat on the couch, smoothing out her clothes and setting her book aside.

"Mother?" She questioned.

Sanguinius looked at Lilith in pleasant surprise.

"You're a mother now," He laughed, nearing a cry.

Lilith beamed down at her father, "Four of them. Riverine spends her time in the gardens. Eidneahh! Come in here, please!"

"I'm busyyy!" A voice replied.

"Now, Eidneahh."

"I just need -"

"I said now," Lilith called sternly. "This is important."

There was no reply, but footsteps drew nearer. Half her hair was braided.

"What is..." her question died on her lips as she saw Sanguinius. "Oh, you're right, this is waaaaay more important."

Selene returned with Riverine running in. All four lined up politely.

Sanguinius trembled upon seeing each of his granchildren. Tears began to stream down his face.

"Oh, Lilith," he cried. "They're beautiful. You all are so beautiful. Come, let me see you all."

Selene stepped forward without hesitation, grinning.

"Hello, grandather," She greeted as she took one of his hands.

Akasha gingerly stepped forward. Still usure. Riverine and Eidneahh flanked either side of their grandfather.

Lilith gestured to each daughter as she introduced them, "From oldest ot youngest, this is Akasha. She's the shyest of the bunch. Selene. Like mother, she is blind and can see souls. Riverine is my little gardner."

"Mother," her third child protested.

Lilith chuckled, "And this is my youngest and most mischevious, Eidneahh. Girls, this is my father and your grandfather, Sanguinius."

Sanguinius cupped Akasha and Riverine's faces as he cried.

"I am so humbled and happy that I get to meet you all," he sniffed. "To think I could have never..."

He pulled them in closer with his wings.

"You smell like sand and sadness," Eidneaah blurted.

Lilith used a wing to bop her over the head.

"Hey!" She protested.

Lilith gave her a look.

"I'm excited to meet you, grandfather!" Her youngest quickly said.

Sanguinius laughed.

Selene pulled back and circled around him, "Your soul is so... interesting! Almost like it is in two halves. But all these markings. Scars? Ah, from your... ah, apologies if that's painful to bring up. It's very beautiful!"

"No worries," the angel assured. "You are very beautiful yourself. Captivating eyes like my dear, Amara. Your grandmother. She would have loved you all."

"Mother says she liked gardens," Riverine added. "I think she'd like mine. Would you like to see it?"

"I would be delighted." Sanguinius answered.

Akasha piped up, "Maybe after you could, um, maybe we could go up and... see my.. library? I-I'm very proud of... it."

Sanguinius's wings fluffed involuntarily, and each of the girls' followed in suit. Lilith put a hand over her mouth to prevent her from laughing out loud at the sight.

"Sounds like we have a plan," he father said. "Lead me to it."

Selene clapped her hands, "This is going to be- Eidneahh, your stuff is in the way! You're not going to make me trip in front of grandfather!

The youngest snickered as Akasha took Selene by the arm.

Lilith lingered a moment as she watched the group move out. Her father's wing ushering them out like a swan with sygnets. She bit her lip as tears welled. Seeing them all together... she would have loved for Mother, Mircalla, and Flora to be here as well. But she was grateful for this moment.

She followed after them.
