Hello again. Another post in addition to this

Anyway, some new things:

Tags rework

#nhl x reader and #nhl imagine will remain, ofc. #dark will always be used. I have used it since my very first reblog of a dark fic to now that I am writing about it. It will forever be the huge umbrella for these fics. Like a general/universal tag. However I will be changing my reads/fic recommendation tag -> #ruinix recs. Why? Well, there are still a few reblogs that I have not deleted because 1, I can't get to it (Tumblr didn't show it when I first did my deepscroll when I try to delete them), 2, I just want a new slate for my own readings.

(Dark) fic format rework

Specifically, I am thinking how to put some time of lock in my dark fics. There are just four of then but oh well. The best way for me to be able to be comfortable to post them when I feel caged and locked. What I'm thinking about is putting a break right at the beginning, so I will be doing the shortest greeting and then put an immediate warning that it is a dark fic (no matter how shallow or deep in the trenches it is) and then a BREAK. Then my usual author's note and a more detailed warnining. Example: Hi. Dark fic below *line/content break* Insert my greetings and monologue. Insert banner. Insert my warnings. Insert fics. This will hopefully make sure that even if the fics go into a bigger tag of #quinn hughes or whomever tags. No one will read even the slightest snippets, including warnings of it.

New inbox rule to come: Request format

In addition to the #dark tag and fic format, I don't think there will ever be a way to put a content break into a request. So I am thinking of a new way to ask for a fic. Whether it's dark or fluff or whatever. I would like to request that you put a category first. [Smut, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Dark]. Then request prompt. It can all stay within a full line. Example: Fluff. Insert prompt. However, with an exception to dark fics. I want to see a strikethrough of the request. Example: Dark content. Insert request. Yes, putting the request in a next line will be a must. While it is still very readable, it will be better. I will be making a separate post about this with, maybe, a title of "Requests Format".

Drabbles and Thinks

Dark fics will forever be in my #ruinix thinks tag. It will never be a full-out drabble for me because writing them exhausts me too. In a way, because when I write, it's always me that's the main character. Literally, even my other actual works with OC (not posted here and will never).

To end, I will still write. Just need a few hours to pick myself up.

Hello, Lovelies. For my sanity, I need to implement a few rules for my inbox / asks.

I think this is needed because some people are just taking a step too far. Just a friendly reminder that this is my blog and it is my coping mechanism.

To reiterate what I've said before: I post here coz I enjoy hockey as hockey, despite the rollercoaster of feelings I feel every game. Plus, I love reading fics here. I use this blog as a little safekeeping zone where I can go back to the small memories of hockey which are both happy and even sad.

Rule # 1: Be kind.

We can yap and be happy here. (If you wanna be one of my emoji anons here is my list) Wanna talk about life or share something, sure, i'll yap with you. Wanna share achievements with me, I will cheer for you. Wanna just be a whore with me, let's go, i fear I have such a dirty mind. Want some pictures, i'll go through my gallery with an alarming number of photos. No negative talks here. I will cry (/threat /jk) Seeing content that you've filtered, send the link and I can fix the tags.

Rule # 2: Be patient.

I am slow on working on asks. I beg for you to be patient with me. Things happen in my life too, i fear. Requests are always on for drabbles and thoughts, but I don't think I can promise an amazing fic when i get to your ask...I am just gorl. Keeping the bar (expectations) down is a MUST. Again, I only write for the faves listed in my Navigation post (except for my children; i can't do it even if it's fluff. I am a weak writer.).

Rule # 3: No drama. No gossips.

No drama and/or gossips with other Tumblr users. No drama/gossips about hockey players. No drama and gossips. If you want to share them, sure, but I will not respond to it and I also would rather you not share it all. If you have drama or beef with me, block me. IDK. Don't come here and be irritated, lovely. I swear. Delete and Block. Immediately.

Rule # 4: Requests

Do not send me requests you sent to nother blog, word for word.

However, I will be implementing this now. This is a format for fic requests like I mentioned here. It is in response to try to regulate everything since I may or may not still write dark content.

Format:

Insert a category [Smut, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Dark]

Insert your request. (make sure to include the name. No requests about my children)

Insert whatever else you wanted to say

For Smut, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, requests can stay in a single line with the category. Example: Fluff. Insert prompt. (e.g. Fluff. I want cuddles with X) Smut/NSFW. Insert prompt. (e.g. Smut. X kissing and f*cking me) Hurt/Comfort. Insert prompt. (e.g. hurt/comfort. X clearing out misundestandings from miscommunication) Angst. Insert prompt. (e.g. Ansgt. I'm ruinix but you can call me nix. I'm in my twenties and I use she/her pronouns.

As a person, I am currently floating about. I like books and hockey. My main team is Vancouver Canucks. I sometimes watch the streams of Seattle Kraken.

I love d-men and goalies (seriously, they hold a special part in my soul. they're just cute. any team for goalies, coz i am a goalie enjoyer after being a quinn enjoyer).

Yes, I know VAN and SEA are in the same division and I am suffering for that. In no particular order: VAN faves: Huggy Bear (MAIN), lanki, hronek SEA faves*: KAAPO, joey, grubi, D-line FLA faves*: bobby Special mentions: Nico Hischier, Arber Xhekaj, my children (Connor Bedard and Macklin Celebrini(and his bff, Will Smith); i would die for these kids) *I just love their lil shenanigans on ice. Don't judge me. Also note, i do love these three teams, but I enjoy hockey as HOCKEY. I want to stick to just the games and no gossips and whatnot coz honestly, i can't (or won't be able to) handle all that stress. I enjoy it as a coping mechanism so I really cannot keep up with the deeper layers of things.

Although, this blog will just be full of hockey clips of (mainly) Canucks, because I like Quinn Hughes.

Simply, nowadays, i frequent canucks' game. It might change, depending on how the wind blows. I made this blog mainly to preserve my hockey clips, so I can watch them without going through the games again. I frequently post the clips, then I edit the post to include gifs. *Late clips shall be posted for the whole games I watched after the live.
