On September 30th 2023, tomorrow on Truth and Reconciliation Day, and Every Child Matters Day, the Kahnistensera (Mohawk Mothers) will be holding a protest with McGill students at the Royal Victoria Hospital starting at 12PM.

Background information for the cause: There is credible evidence for the Mohawk mothers in question to believe their children have unmarked graves on the grounds of the RVH, where their children disappeared following human experimentation conducted on them by the Allan Memorial Institute on that site. The superior court has granted injunctions for the grieving mothers and their organization to investigate the grounds before McGill decides to build on top of the unmarked graves, as then it would be desecrating sacred ground. McGill University has broken the law multiple times by pursuing construction on the site despite credible preliminary evidence of human remains beneath the soil.

Ceci (DAL#44) carries the puck into the Stars' defensive zone near the boards as Zegras (ANA#11) skates behind him, trying to reach forward to poke it off his stick. Ceci then attempts a cross-ice pass to Mavrik Bourque (DAL#22) as Bourque skates to center ice, but misses so wide right that he seems to think Ceci's passing to someone behind him instead, watching it go by. There is absolutely nobody behind him. Mason McTavish (ANA#23) picks it off easily as it bounces off the boards, briefly creating a 2-on-1 opportunity for the Ducks.

PLAY-BY-PLAY: McTavish has Zegras in front—tried to feed it to him, and unable to get it.

Ceci sprints to pressure McTavish and try to block his stick from passing or shooting, leaving Zegras in the slot and Esa Lindell (DAL #23) to sprint in from the Stars' blue line to cover Zegras. McTavish gets the pass around Ceci's stick to Zegras as Lindell ties up his stick, but the pass misses, going just behind Zegras.

PLAY-BY-PLAY: And a blast wide by [Radko] Gudas; that'll... slide all the way back into the Ducks' zone... and good on the forecheck; Stars steal—[Jamie] Benn trying to curl out in front and... knocked off his blade.

The puck bounces out to Gudas (ANA#7) at the Stars' blue line and he takes a slapshot through a moving maybe-screen of two Stars players, missing to the left of the net. The puck rims around the boards and all the way into the Ducks' defensive zone behind their net. Jackson LaCombe (ANA#2) and Wyatt Johnston (DAL#53) race for the puck with Benn following several feet behind. LaCombe starts out in the lead, but slows down and lets him get the puck first when he sees Johnston incoming. LaCombe checks Johnston into the boards the moment he reaches the puck, but Johnston successfully touch-passes the puck back to Benn.

Benn protects the puck from LaCombe by moving it out of LaCombe's reach on his backhand, and tries to get a shot around goalie Lukáš Dostál's (ANA#1) RVH. However, LaCombe has inside position, and the instant Benn lifts his stick for the forehand shot, LaCombe pokes the puck away from all Stars pressure and to the boards for his teammates to collect.

COLOR: Lots of defensemen now do what LaCombe just did for them. You allow the attacking forward to go first, and then you steal it off him rather than go in there and get buried, and lose the puck and lose position.

McTavish flips the puck high and out of the zone. Thomas Harley (DAL#55) gloves it down inside the Stars' blue line and skates it out along the boards as Zegras pressures. Harley passes to Johnston ahead of him in the neutral zone and he attempts a cross-ice pass to break out Benn on the weak side with all four Ducks skaters on screen on the strong side, but McTavish intercepts the pass from a few feet away.

He tries a short pass to Zegras's backhand for a zone entry, but Johnston blocks it and it bounces out to center ice. Benn beats an attempted stick lift from Troy Terry (ANA#19) and attempted block by Zegras to pass it back to Harley in the Stars' defensive zone.

REPLY: Thank you. I learned back in 1985 when I went to lunch with one of the heads of a major bank in Geneva. He explained to me back then why everyone was using my firm. He said you do not care if the dollar goes up or down. He explained there were no European FX analysts because it was a political issue in Europe since politicians used the rise in the currency to validate their performance. Saying the currency would decline became a political statement.

On Sept. 11, 2023, Christopher Manfredi wrote to McGill community that "the first phase of the investigative work on the site of the New Vic Project comes to a close". Please be aware that this "conclusion" was forced unilaterally by McGill, and it does not align with the panel of archaeologists' report nor with the Kahnistensera (Mohawk Mothers), for whom the investigation is far from complete - let alone that the searches done so far were not done adequately (see below). The Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) for McGill then pretends that "this stage of the work has not produced any evidence of human remains or unmarked graves." Considering that three HHRD (Historic Human Remains Detection Dogs) alerted in the exact same area next to RVH building, and that a study by Grebenkemper et al. (2021) states that the "probability that two dogs would have a false positive at the same box is less than 0.06%", Manfredis' assertion is outright denialism of scientific evidence.

As the Kahnistensera's court files will show, McGill and the Société Québécoise des Infrastructures (SQI) have been violating the court-ordered injuction (Oct.2022), the settlement agreement (Apr.2023) and the temporary agreement (Aug.2023) in several manners:

Non-archeological drilling & excavating in the absence of the Kahnistensera (Mohawk Mothers): Despite the absence of the Kahnistensera and Mohawk cultural monitors, and despite the fact that the court-ordered archaelogical investigation is far from complete, McGill and SQI have been heavy drilling and excavating on site since Sept.11, flagrantly violating the court-ordered injuction and the temporary agreement between all parties involved, and putting the archaeological searches for human remains at extreme risk.

McGill's unilateral control over data interpretation: McGill and SQI kept refusing to share GeoScan's data with the Kahnistensera, the Panel of archaeologists jointly selected by all parties, and the Canadian Archaeological Association, even though this was required per the Panel's report. This means that McGill is unilaterally interpreting data, possibly overlooking vital evidence - voluntarily or not - and violating the letter and spirit of all agreements.

Potential child graves ignored: Anomalies in the Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR) data suggestive of children's graves have been silenced, directly violating the settlement agreement's principles of transparency and collaboration. The Mohawk Mothers insist on a thorough examination of these "unknown anomalies." The area excavated by McGill on Sept.11 and 12 is immediately next to several anomalies detected by the GPR.

Inadequate excavation practices: The few anomalies examined this far were excavated hastily using invasive heavy machinery without sifting the soil as required by the Panel of experts. This disregard for careful examination endangers the integrity of this sacred site.
