Could I perhaps have a Monkgender flag please?

Monk gender and Monk kin flags for lameishzayn!

i once again used the outskirts colorpicked pallete for monk's flag, because monk does start in outskirts, but because monk is almost entirely a herbivore, i included the colors of bluefruit in the flag!

once again, these flags are free to use and edit, credit isn't needed but it is encouraged!

Note: Some of these have nicknames! Example being Danger and Milk, they function like Nightcat is for Watcher

Survivor and Monk: Some sort of feathered light fury slugcat hybrid. However due to mutation shenanigans Monk does not have the light fury tail. That or maybe Monk is just too young to have their light fury tail grown yet? Who knows? (He/It for Survivor and She/It for Monk)

Hunter: Not much else to say here except they have green markings on them to signify they belonged to NSH. This version of Hunter does not have rot however. She does have some sort of sickness but it is uncertain what it is or what caused it. A rot parasite however is not it. (She/They/It)

Danger/Artificer: Red lizard hybrid, cannot throw spears or craft explosive ones! Can throw bombs however and have a far more damaging maul to make up for it. Explosive jump is caused by her tail. Due to the lizard hybrid too the explosion did not cause a burn scar, however it did still take out her eye (She/It)

Milk/Rivulet: Lives in the frozen ocean near Moon after delivering the rarefraction cell, the white pelts allow her to camouflage in the snow from predators (Any)

Twitch/Spearmaster: Mostly just a fancy design, however is able to communicate with Suns directly through holograms before Pebbles does the thing (Any)

Nightcat/Watcher: Mole lizard, night fury slugcat hybrid. Relies more on the frills on his face and tail rather than his eyes to understand his surroundings. Can see but poor vision (He/It)

Saint: Echo hybrid as we all know, the black gold ears help him understand echos and Iterators without the mark of communication (He/Echo/It)

Gourmand: May re-do his design to be less white but aside from that, nothing special here, just a fancy design. His pups are also food inspired (He/They/It)

Inv/Enot: Light fury slugcat hybrid. Meant to be twins opposite / the long lost sibling of Watcher. Has heterochromia. (Void/It/neopronouns)

As of now there is no explaination as to why some slugcat are lizard and dragon hybrids while some are not.

I love how creative the Rain World community can be with giving their own artistic flare to the characters while still making them recognizable, it's genuinely one of my favorite things about the community!

Shout out to designs that incorporate stuff like:

overseer highlight colors in iterators (cyan in pebbles, yellow in moon, ECT ECT)

giving Moon a lunar motif

making arti's scars look like explosions

making post collapse Moon desaturated and rusty!!! Same goes with Pebbles

purposed slugcats sharing markings/characteristics of the iterator who created them (spearmaster with eye stripes, Hunter with a diamond marking, ect ect), or giving them little clothes/ponchos based on their iterator

putting yellow on Survivor, or vice versa for Monk

slug mantles/slug tails/literally incorporating the slug aspect of slugcats more in any way

or on the opposite side of the spectrum, making scugs more catlike, warrior cats vibes /pos

gourmand designed after food in some way or another

Spearmaster/Saint being portrayed as slugcat body horror, uncanny and unnerving to their own kin

And the opposite! The more purposed/supernatural scugs being little creatures all the same!

making slugcats like INV and Nightcat anomalies/creatures that don't quite belong in their own world, like a living glitch

Rivulet, but designed after irl sea creature species!

MAKING ITERATOR PUPPETS LOOK LIKE ACTUAL PUPPETS!!

Sorry I just really wanted to gush about RW designs, genuinely I love how creative and wonderful the fandom can be by taking relatively simple designs and adding on their own interpretations and wonderful flare! It was an aspect I really love to see in places like the warrior cat fandom or such, and I'm so glad It carried over to the RW community :]

JEROME

here we have Jerome! the first green lizard I encountered, yet the second that I tamed. they have such pretty bulbs on their tail and they also won against a few other lizards in fights.

HAMMY

next up is Hammy! first lizard I tamed, second (?) I encountered. it's hard to see here but they actually are a light seafoam color! they also love doing silly tricks.

tried to beat up Jerome, failed horribly. ganged up on me and Jerome along with Lame Tail Jerry, who is next. eventually stabbed them to the wall and escaped

very very pretty dark green/turquoise eel lizard! look at that tail! they actually killed me once but that's because I got up close to them because they were just chilling (before I tamed them) they also got beaten up by snails

BADDIE/BADASS

look at those fucking spines!!!! baddie also got beaten up by snails. they are very silly and very cool looking!!!
