#RWBYAC Day 5: Member of Team CFVY IT'S FASHION SWEATY LOOK IT UP So my headcanon is that Coco not only loves buying fashionable clothes, but she also loves designing and making them. I think it's somewhat common for huntsmen and huntresses to sew their own combat outfits, given the unique styles we see in the show. I wonder if this is ever touched upon in the Team CFVY book. Seems like a good place to mention it! I'm probably a little biased. My grandmother and mother both sewed a lot, and much of my childhood was spent in fabric stores. While I began sewing to make renfaire garb and later cosplay, I do still sew garments from time to time. Sewing is a totally normal thing in my reality, so I wouldn't find it unusual for these random fictional characters I'm weirdly obsessed with to sew, also. Also, given that it is pride month, I am obligated to mention the extreme likelihood that Coco is some kind of gay. I saw a review praising the book for including disabled and LGBT main characters (the way it was worded indicated that it's not a single gay, disabled character, so that leaves Coco, Velvet, and Yatsu, as Fox is blind), and a later snippet I saw has Velvet mention that Coco broke a lot of girls' hearts back in combat school, so that means she's either very gay or very not. 😂 Regardless, a lot of people ship her with Velvet, so we at least have fanon lesbian representation for the time being. 💛 Personally, I like to ship Coco with Gwen Darcy, which works really well now that we know she's is in Vacuo. And yes, I know how to spell "sweetie." It's a meme.
