He grinned at the new person, "Greetings, human! Or are you another being and they're doing another experiment with me?" He tilted his head at the stranger.

Daryn chuckled. "Giraffes, how did you learn about them?" He asked, "because there are so many other creatures besides them in this world. Would you like me to bring pictures next time I visit?"

Daryn frowned, feeling for the being. "I was told you were here for just as long as the facility has been around." he said, smiling a bit. "i have only been working here for a few years, but N.O.V.A. was built about ten years ago. i have been told you are not violent, and no one here has said you were a monster. who called you a monster?"

Daryn smiled wide. "Nice job. Now follow me inside." He told him and waited till he was free from the door before closing the car door for him.

He lead the boy to the front door and opened it carefully. "Alright, in you go."

"they have burgers and fries.. and soda.." he couldn't name anything else because he just wanted to focus on a small amount of new things for the boy. "Wendy's.. they taste better.." he said and turned the corner and went to the nearest Wendy's.

"just going to go through the drive thru and then we can eat at the house. Or in the car." He said shrugging, as he slowly went to the drive thru. He ordered them both bacon cheese burgers with large fries and sodas. He even added in a chocolate frosty for them both and then paid.

Once he was given the food he set the drinks between them "can you hold these on your lap, and make sure they don't spill?" He asked Jett as he handed the cup holder of the two frostys.

Daryn heard Jett mumble and straightened his back at the comment.

"i will record any progress, General. But Unfortunately, i have to get going with Jett. Dinner is soon and i want him to experience what fast food is like." he chuckled and scrunched his nose.

"Alright, well i hope i am not making a mistake." the general moved to come around the desk and hold out his hand for Jett to shake. obviously not understanding that he didn't know what to do most likely.

Daryn lead Jett all the way to the Generals office and knocked on the door.

So Daryn opened the door and ushered Jett inside before closing the door again. The room looked like a living room with a desk facing them. A man with soft looking waves of brunette hair sat at the desk going through papers.

"ah, hello, doctor. And is this Jett?"

The man looks up and motions for them to come closer.

"yes, Sir. And I thank you for letting me do this. You know how I feel about my patients." Daryn says.

"yes yes." The brunette smiles. "Jett, do you remember much from when my men brought you in? I feel horrible that I never tried to figure you out years ago, but I hope Dr. Lee will help you. Do you like Dr. Lee?" He asked.

The two guards standing by the door looked nervously at Daryn.

"Don't worry, you two, the General said it was alright. Here." He pulled his phone out and dialed, as he slipped between Jett and on of the guards.

"Hello, Dr. Is there something wrong?" It was the general on the other line. Daryn had put it on speaker.

"well, I just wanted to confirm with you about dear mister Jett. It is alright for him to come home with me, is it not?" Daryn asked. He had a serious look on his face, unlike his usually cheerful manner.

"yes, you have clearance to do this, it was also filed already. Am I on speaker Daryn?"

"as a matter of fact yes, because the guards for poor Jett didn't think it was safe. So I wanted to give them proof that it was."

"at ease gentleman. Dr. Lee is cleared to relocate the anomaly." The general stated, and added. "And Daryn, before you leave, bring him to my office, with what you have told me, I would like to meet him."

"sure thing, General." The doctor said and hung up. "Come on, little one, you get to meet the boss man." He finally smiled and motions for Jett to follow him.

Daryn slowly opened the down and found the boy dressed properly and sitting on the bed. He smiled. "Well, look at you. Now you look like a normal person instead of a hospital patient." He chuckled and walked over and held out the shoes and socks. "These I hope fit. I had to guess your size for everything."
