Like why post content for a character ur gonna gatekeep if u dont want ppl to consume that content I DONT UNDERSTAAAAND

I KNOW ! I have no idea why people gatekeep their favs but I feel like it always comes down to emotional immaturity and insecurity on their part. which is dumb because this site is so welcoming, so body positive, there are so many posts going around that reassure u that your fav would like u no matter what ! so I don’t get the purpose of gatekeeping at all

and if being associated with their fav character whenever ppl think of them is the motive behind it, there is a right and wrong way to do that ! like I can very easily say that when I think of kazutora I directly associate him with your blog 😂 and you don’t gatekeep at all ! not only do you not gatekeep, but you have a large masterlist devoted to him AND reblog content from other creators for him AND can probably provide really good recs for that character, it’s like kazutora grand central station and you didn’t even need to “claim” him for yourself or whatever in order to get that done 😂 another good blog that does this successfully I think is @/kingkatsuki, huge masterlist for bakugou, reblogs other creators content for him, is the first place I think to look to when I wanna read for bakugou AND can recommend works for the same character done by other writers, all without gatekeeping ! i know it’s more of a tokrev issue that I don’t see too much in other fandoms, but yea it’s just dumb

back to the yyh confession post: I don’t think they have no chemistry tbh, I think they get along & vibe really well but I don’t think it’s sexual tbh

like kurama already says himself that he’s not attracted to other men and that he hates being seen as a girl….so he’s canonically a straight male

with hiei I think u have a little bit more room for freedom just because I’m assuming the demon world doesn’t have a conventional binary gender systems that we humans do, so u can kinda imagine him growing up with whatever sexual urges u want. that said, I kinda don’t think he develops any sexual attraction to other beings until mukuro. (like I can imagine him jacking off & not really knowing what he’s doing but knowing it feels good), and I don’t even think he experiences an outright attraction to mukuro but I think a teaching of sorts can be implied between them (not even a solid relationship, just kinda a sexual awakening of sorts)

& then on top of that, I think he might feel more inclined to being attracted to women in general because mommy issues 😂 that and ! every bit of softness he has ever yearned for and desired has come from women presenting people, so I think he would just grow to make that association and be more sexually attracted to them (women presenting though, I don’t think the genital situation is that important to him, def up for debate)

Anyways ! These are opinions I’ve developed over the years from watching the anime and reading the manga, I would say these are very canon compliant opinions. That said… fuck canon, y’know? If you wanna make them fuck in your head then you have every right to ! That’s what makes imaginations so great ! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
