1.) This is the first sweater that I knitted freehand without a pattern, which I did back around this time in 2000. It was only 17 months after my first knitting lesson. This technique of knitting a graphic sweater without a pattern, chart, or graph paper was just an experiment back then. I had no plans for what would be depicted on much of the sweater when I knitted the first stitch. It turned out to be a lot more of a success than I expected. I knew I could improve upon it after that. I just put whatever I could think of on it, starting with the waterfall on the back. 17.) My ski sweater. Made it during the 2002 Olympics, inspired by the skiers I watched. The main yarn I used for it, interestingly, is called Sirdar Snowflake. Difficult yarn to knit with, but interestingly, I finished the sweater in record speed. 18.) My Oriole Park at Camden Yards sweater. Made this in response to not having anything to wear to Orioles games. Starting my 13th Instagram sweater cycle in which I post one sweater almost daily on IG and several other social media sites in the chronological order I made them. This will be my third cycle in which every still photo will be accompanied by a reel of the same sweater, usually on the same day. This one, which starts all cycles, is not my own design. 5.) My second attempt, first successful one, at making a sweater/jumper of the Tower Bridge in London, after previously failing several months earlier. And this was not my last. I loved the design so much, I made another a year later. Inspiration came from a magazine photo. This picture came from my visit in 2014.
