pic.twitter.com/q7F9CdLg9Q

LJ visemes - Adobe Character Animator to After Effects
Grab the preset for free gum.co/StzUP
Character Animator has this nice feature to compute visemes from given audio, setting triggers for mouth shapes. In addition to animate the full character in CH, you could also just export the animated visimes with an alpha channel to After Effects. But there is no option to transfer data or keyframes to After Effects, which would be nice for further or other use.
I just set up a preset as workaround. No magic, just a trick / brute force method ;) Instead of just animating mouth shapes, I expanded the graphic, so it will show marks at a specified position. In After Effects, these positions get sampled and will trigger mouth shapes or other stuff. It is recommended to bake the expression though to improve performance, reuse the set up in the current scene for changed or additional audio and make the animations independant from CH at the end.
Character Animator means, you need to be subscriped to CC and have the latest beta of CH installed.
CS6 files are provided as well, if you want to use the custom mouth shape control slider, use the mouth shapes and have a look at the simple set up. A demo folder is provided with a rendered image sequence, so the AE demo file will work without Character Animator.
00:00 intro 00:21 importing the PSD-template to CH, explaining the various triggers 01:15 importing an audio file, adjusting the scene 01:55 computing the visemes 02:49 importing the CH project via dynamic link to AE 03:36 importing the AE preset file 04:05 having a quick look at the implemented mouth shape, with the usual time remap workflow 04:47 reactivating the analyse expression to let the set up work (sorry, did not show/explain the simple expression, but you will have guessed it: sampleImage... ;) 05:13 converting the expression to keyframes 05:48 removing duplicate keys with Paul Tuerslay's script aenhancers.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2166 06:11 copying the keys to the desired mouth shapes layer 06:39 adding it to a new scene ----- now some repetition: 07:29 if the audio changes and/or you need other audio: going back to CH, repeating the steps 08:40 nice thing about the dynamic link: the scene gets updated in AE when changed (plus you don't have to render an image sequence all the time) 10:10 finishing up with the steps, reducing the project 10:26 end
Thanks for reading / watching! :)

Sony A7S ii review
After about 3 weeks of shooting both photos and videos, I am finally able to give a detailed review of this monster .In a nut shell I would describe the A7S II as a 4k camera that can also shoot 12 megapixel photos. Before purchasing the A7S I was shooting with a Canon 5D Mark II. I personally shoot more photos than videos. That is what worried me about diving into this $3000 price tag. I was worried I wasn't going to be satisfied with the photo quality. It isn't about what paint brush you have, its about how you use it. This camera would be a 10/10 for me if it shot 18 megapixels. It would be a 9/10 if it even shot 16 megapixels. But I'm stuck with 12.It actually pains me just a little bit when I remind myself of the megapixel count on this camera. But still, that is not a deal breaker for me. I have been able to produce some great photos with this camera .It's a low light monster, so I thought I was going to be able to bring this camera with me when I photograph weddings.But I probably wouldn't ever use this professionally for photos. Its very "OK" as far as photos go. If you shoot video its no question at all that this is most likely the perfect camera for you. It shoots full 4k at 24 fps, 1080 at 60 fps and 120 fps. Although the 120 fps is cropped. It can go to amazingly high ISO while still maintaining a usable image. Professionally I would probably take this camera up to 40000 ISO max. If I was shooting photos 12000 ISO is probably the highest I'll take it. The image starts to fall apart in most situations after that. This isn't a full review but I touched on some topics that no one has really spoke about yet. I highly suggest spending $10 on the time lapse app. I use that every time I shoot and the results are amazing.
