It's late, and–" As he spoke, half-rambling into the air, he finally stepped up the stairs to Usopp's side. From there, he could see the subtle trembling of Usopp's hunched shoulders, and the moonlight glinting off the tear tracks that lined his cheeks. Sanji trailed off, his words hanging forgotten in the air. "…Usopp?"

Summary:

Sanji has never liked winter, but when the crew ends up on a Winter Island (known for its ice rinks and adoration for ice skating) she decides it's the best time to replace her awful memories of cold with the warmth of her love for her girlfriends. Usopp doesn't want to break her heart telling her the truth, so what does she do? She lies, as usual, and says she knows how to ice skate when she clearly doesn't. Although lately, Sanji found she was starting to come around to Usopp's dream of a house covered in plants, with a garden outside. A house that always smelled delicious. Maybe there could still be children, or maybe there would be cats, or just friends they herded like wild cats. Usopp's rowdy bunch of friends were starting to rub off on Sanji anyway. That house could be just as good...
