@bleedingwings location: What's Cookin'? notes: Night before the grand opening
Everything had worked out in the end, barring the odd intrusive thought, Marco was thriving. Abel was made sovereign and truthfully it was a good fit, naturally Marco had agreed that the Tower was the best fit. If Vivianne was stepping down, then it was hard to imagine anyone else standing where she had once stood. The necromancers were gone, the drow were at some tentative piece with the elves - elves who had their own home for the first time in ages. The senate was changing, really changing, Marco never thought he'd see something like that in his lifetime.
Still, he thought about the way he'd spoken to Sariel in the street outside his home in the days leading up to the fight. He didn't remember their discourse outside the Pyramid, and maybe that was for the best.
"You came." Marco said with a smile as he looked up, he'd worn a suit because he thought... Well it just felt appropriate. He'd asked Sariel to come to What's Cookin' to taste the menu ahead of tomorrow's big opening, he'd been experimenting with dishes for a few years now, trying to make the perfect menu. He thought maybe he'd finally succeeded. Bashfully, Marco felt inclined to admit something, "I didn't think you would... But I'm glad you did, sorry but it uh... It's just gonna be us tonight."

@bleedingwings location: Brave New World notes: killed ur brother hehe what now
The dragon landed with a great crash as the nearby ruined buildings crashed around them. Collapsed the streets, and blocked any routes of escape that the fallen seraphim might have hoped to take. From a perch high above, The Great Old One Pelorus looked on. Hunters, the former brothers spartoi were among those that had been tasked by Ilsensine - Marzia - to hunt down any rebels.
Bones fell away as the possessed Echion stepped out from the husk of fallen armor. Durable as they were, the scales of bones and the great wings could be incredibly cumbersome. "I've taken quite a liking to killing you seraphim," Echion reminisced, it had taken a thousand of the pesky birds to kill him the last time they'd crossed paths, one Graceless bitch wasn't going to be anything to bat an eye at. Still, it would be slow, painful, and enjoyable - at least for the God. "The way your brother screamed in the end," Echion hadn't been able to do it. Weak. But once possessed it had been easy. "will you scream for me?" A blade of twisted bone lifted towards the seraphim, "Will you beg?"

@bleedingwings location: Sariel's Office notes: his heart is just so full rn
So many seraphim in one place, Ganymede could cry, his nest had never felt so full but now came the easy part: bringing everyone together. Sariel had always been his favourite, they'd never met but she was very special and important to him. Even if she'd sworn to kill his husband, Ganymede just worshipped her devotion. "Your dad always told me how smart you were, finding lost people and helping them is such an incredible way to spend your life." Ganymede praised as he looked around her office, "Have you been sleeping enough? You need to remember to take care of your vessel or it won't perform as well for you."

@bleedingwings location: sariel’s PI office notes: hehe (affectionate)
Nobody wanted to kill their brothers or sisters, not really anyways. The seraphim were no different, Ulthar made them perfect but even in perfection they were capable of rebelling. After all they’d been through, refusing to kneel towards a garden of meat puppets seemed like a stupid thing to do. Everything had gone to fuck because of it, Eden burned, the trees were destroyed, and all these years later here they were. Another armageddon, another job to do. “Smells like burnt espresso in here.” Dumah commented, finding the fallen was easy, wasn’t like the PI was keeping a low profile. The flesh suit she was wearing was unfamiliar, but he’d have recognized that mutilated essence anywhere. Dumah fixed himself in her door, leaned against his frame as he looked over at the fallen sibling, “Well, did you miss me?”

@bleedingwings
location: Outside the Dahlia House
notes: meetcute meetcute meetcute
Lunch was almost ready, but something was triggering the wards outside, Vivianne, Abel, and some of the adepts had been crazy precautious lately with all the new security that had gone up it was hard for a supernatural to make it on the block without some alarm going off. Marco wanted to say it was a bit extra but considering everything that was going down it had to be better to be safe than sorry. Thanks to Viv's association with Michael, it was easy to tell when one of the seraphim were hanging about, either through the wards or his own perception.
"Oh hey," Marco greeted from the door, "were you looking for Nate or Michael?" He asked, "They're not here right now- I think Vivianne is..." Where was she again? "I'm not sure, but I just made lunch if you wanted to wait for them to get back." Things had been quiet around the house since so many of their coven were living elsewhere now, Marco wasn't exactly a fighter but he liked to consider himself an essential service. Well, maybe not essential, but he was definitely happy to help.
"I'm Marco by the way, Volta." She was pretty, really really pretty.

@bleedingwings location: Lupercalia notes: probably not their second date but you, they've been dating
"First festival together." Marco pointed out as he put his hands in his pockets because he didn't really know what to do with them otherwise. He was still waiting to meet her family but Marco didn't know how to broach that subject, or even how to introduce Sariel to his. How he would even do that and what that would look like. Considering the fallen's history, it seemed like it'd probably be a touchy subject. "Who are you putting money on to win the Alpha Gauntlet?" Things like this always ended up deciding a lot, he couldn't help but wonder what things would look like here when all was said and done.
