The Hour Glass Blocks had been donated to Markham Towne Quilter’s Fabric Stash. I took them home and used the Disappearing Nine Patch to set the sashing and corner stones ... it’s so easy! This will be one of our Community Care Quilts. I used the last remaining block on the back along with purple and greens.

I'll do the label tomorrow and wash/dry it... But it's so cheerful! Even in the terrible lighting tonight! Oh and I was very happy with my binding corners.

The pattern is a disappearing nine patch, but I put 1" unfinished sashing between everything. The nine patches were fully sashed before cutting them apart, when I joined the block quarters I put sashing between every piece, etc. It was a pain in the butt, but man I love the final effect it gave the quilt!
