Spooning HCs:
Requested by: my ex
I was on a call with my ex, telling them how I felt the strong urge to write, but barely had the inspo these days. So they requested this. I love them so much. <3
Nobunaga: I feel like he is a big spoon.
Mitsuhide: Big spoon, probably.
Hideyoshi: Definitely big spoon.
Mitsunari: Little spoon. <3
Keiji: Both! He seems like he would like either.
Masamune: Big spoon, but sometimes little spoon too.
Ieyasu: He hates to admit it, but he is a little spoon.
Ranmaru: He's little spoon, I am sure. Because he is baby. :3
Kenshin: He's yan, so probably big spoon.
Shingen: Definitely big spoon.
Sasuke: He's more on the big spoon side, but he doesn't mind being the little spoon.
Yukimura: Big spoon.
Kanetsugu: Big spoon, I think.
Yoshimoto: A graceful big spoon.
Kennyo: My big grumpy bear man. He's definitely a big spoon.
Motonari: Big spoon.
Kichou: He doesn't have a preference, but loves being the little spoon. Especially with Nobunaga.

I think it's a little funny how Sasuke has to use Sharingan to calm down Juugo, but with kimimaro it was just like "yo, chill"
And i fully headcanon that works with anyone that Juugo trusts, it just takes some time to build that trust, give it a couple of month and Sasuke can also achieve "yo, chill" status
Like with a few years of putting up with eachother, even Suigetsu could go "Hey! Put those claws back in your paws, you grumpy bear" if he wanted to and it would probably work

Oras Karerax (Mr.Eeyore)
Personality:
Mr. Eeyore might have a grumpy face but is he really nice!- Eva
Oras is a quiet man who is usually very serious but ever since he met Eva, he finds himself frazzled and plush out of his comfort zone often.
Like: Nothing you need to know - Oras, teddy bears- Eva
Dislikes: word bearers, Eva wearing extremely bright colors
Tumblr media
This is what Mr.Eeyore looks like under his helmet. The key facial features for him are his thick eyebrows, light blue eyes, his facial hair (I don’t know what that type of beard is called. I guess Soul Patch? Please Free to correct me on what it’s called ). Mr.Eeyore stands at 8 ft 5. His hair is short but spiky which includes spiky bangs but the only long part of his hair is his side tails. (thanks to my emo and edgy middle school crushes. I still love ya Zack and Angeal but I did grow out of liking Indra and Sasuke.)
I wanted Mr.Eeyore to have more rounded features and a chubby but muscular build due to the fact, that Eva shared her candy and food with him and Mr.Eeyore couldn't bring himself to say no.

I feel like Obito would be the best cuddler because he's the only one between those four, that I can see being affectionate enough to search for cuddles and give them back enthusiastically. Plus I think he would be good at giving hugs... he's like a huge teddy bear to me 🧸
I feel like a hug from him would fix me and my back 😔❤️
I could see Obito I could see him having concerns about cuddling without the mask and robe on. Due to his scarring he would want to wait a while, let the trust build and then he wants to be shirtless, he craves the feeling of your soft hands on his rough skin.
Itachi being the most open to it from the starts. He loves that skin to skin and lives for cuddles. He is sick and doesn't know when he could lose you so he is always cuddling in some way if the opportunity gives itself.
For Sasuke he craves skin to skin in a non sexual way but wont let himself have it fully at first. This craving would also spark after a WHILE of being a situation-ship. Finally he wants to cuddle but he can't bring it up, and he will act grumpy when you do. After years he is more open about enjoying and even seeking it out
Madara wouldn't be in a relationship unless it was arranged. So he doesn't want it nor care. Cause chances are anyone he likes naturally he will ignore cause those feelings get in the way. So arranged it is, it doesn’t take until yall get to know each other, y’all build a friendship since y’all are married y’all should know how to work to keep a peaceful home. It’s only logical
Eventually y’all start the baby making since y’all are ready for an heir after three years. Y’all are friends, you’ve proven to him that since he is your husband your loyalty is with him. He has someone to trust, someone to rant to, someone who doesn’t see him as evil.
Hashirama is his friend but you’re is friend is a different wifey way. You number one is taking care of him, yourself and the house. He loves that gentle care he’s never gotten before. The massaging, making him tea, asking how he is but not prying.
At first he even sees sex as just to make a baby, but then you suggest things to make it more interesting. Starting with bondage, then spanking and choking. He loves getting rough, he loves the control he has, the submission from you.
Aftercare is mainly cleaning you up, fixing the bed and getting a servant to drop some food and drink at the door. He doesn’t want to know why he cares about other seeing you after but he does.
The afterglow softens him, he isn’t cuddly but he does talk a lot afterwards with you. It isn’t until he over hears you express you want to cuddle him to a friend. That he makes an effort, y’all have been together for five years. You’ve full filled your role as a wife so well, he feels like he is lacking as a husband.
He is awkward at first and thinks it’s pointless but the first time you fall asleep on him he gets it

One thing about Sasuke’s route that I really loved, was the strong bond between Yukimura and Sasuke. That made a one big plus point for me in his route.
His little argument with Sasuke upon knowing that Sasuke was leaving this time period forever to the present, for the second time in this game, made me feel the ache so badly.
The anger to sadness from the betrayal Yuki felt, thinking that their friendship was not as strong as he thought since Sasuke did not tell him the whole truth about himself, and ultimately after Sasuke’s affirmation, Yuki’s resolve to never be able to see his best friend again forever, for the sake of Sasuke’s happiness, made me feel so strongly for him.
This was definitely one of the highlights of the route for me. Yuki’s reaction was not at all what I thought he would have for Sasuke, not one when the strongest emotions and feelings would be obviously for/from the MC since this is an otome game after all.
Then the ending for Sasuke and MC to agree to go back to the past again to spend their life with their most important friends there was so wholesome.
Now I hate myself for losing the screenshots for this conversation T________T

(This is it! The final main chapter before the epilogue!! I hope everyone has had a good time with this! It’s now up to @omeganronpa to choose the epilogue and let me say that I don’t envy that position XD I do not pick it, so don’t waste your breath asking me for anything haha. Happy holidays everyone! 💕)

Prologue - Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Epilogue
You knew something wasn’t quite right as you started to regain consciousness. The summer breeze was gone now, as was the smell of flowers, but that wasn’t it. It was… weight. Something heavy was on top of you.
Wait, what?
You lurched forward suddenly, sending the weight sprawling off you and on to the floor with a yelp.
“Hey! What was that for?!” the weight yelled from somewhere on the floor.
Oh, this was your next 24-hour cycle.
“You will have 24 hours with the seven people you could love the most and who could love you in return. Learn so that you may choose wisely.”
Right, thanks, a bit late on the reminder this time because you had just tossed this day’s omega directly onto the floor. That was not what a good mate did.
More importantly though, you knew that voice.
A fluffy head of blond, spiky hair popped up over the side of the bed, the man it was attached to rubbing the back of his head and directing a grumpy look at you.
“Naruto?” you asked, delighted. You had been wondering if you’d be mated to any of your teammates during this thing, and here you were! It was also a relief to be paired with someone you knew a little better; you’d hopefully have more to say and less of a chance of asking the wrong question.
“Yeah?” he asked, climbing off the floor. “You totally need to say sorry for throwing me off the-oh fuck! Is that the time?!”
Suddenly, all traces of sleepiness and grumpiness fled Naruto immediately and he launched himself up on his feet and lurched to a nearby wardrobe before rifling through it.
“I am so late! Shikamaru’s gonna be pissed!” he whined, frantically grabbing clothes and trying to change and pack a bag at the same time.
You just watched him, scrambling to get your bearings. Naruto looked so different to the boy you’d met when you were still single digit aged children. His shoulders had broadened considerably, his voice was deeper and the way he held himself was different too.
You didn’t have to speculate over how you might have ended up with Naruto because you already knew. You’d been friends and teammates for years and you’d bonded over many shared experiences and traumas. You were incredibly close to Naruto, even after the long period away he’d spent with Jiraiya.
As you watched Naruto trip trying to pull up his trousers and get to the bathroom to brush his teeth at the same time, you thought about those early genin days. The sleepovers with Sakura, pranking mean shopkeepers with Naruto, shouting at Kakashi for being late… It was a little painful to think about those simpler days. Everything had changed so much.
After furiously brushing his teeth, Naruto emerged from the bathroom, little patches of toothpaste still lingering at the corner of his mouth.
“Ugh, I still can’t believe he didn’t wake either of us,” Naruto grumbled, picking up his bag and throwing it over his shoulder.
What? That sentence didn’t make any sense to you. Was someone supposed to have come round and… picked Naruto up for work or something? You got out of bed just as Naruto ran out of the room. You could hear his footsteps pounding down the stairs and you decided to follow him, leaping out of bed yourself.
You didn’t have time to explore the rooms upstairs, but if Naruto was going to work, then you’d have time to do so later. So many thoughts were running through your head as you went down the stairs that you couldn’t pinpoint one to focus on.
One thought became dominant when you saw the hokage robes and hat hanging by the front door. Was Naruto the hokage? Had he really done it? You couldn’t stop the grin from forming on your face. He was so impossibly amazing. You felt an overwhelming urge to hug him, but he had disappeared further into the house. You followed where you thought he’d gone, almost skipping as you did. You couldn’t believe that not only was Naruto hokage, but you were mated to him!! Naruto! Who was the hokage!
As you approached what looked like a living dining room, you could hear Naruto’s voice once again, although it was too low for you to make out any words. Who was he talking to?
You peered around the corner, conscious that you were in your pyjamas still, and saw Naruto crouched in front of the sofa, talking to someone. Only the back of their head was visible, but your heart lurched as you figured out who the man must be.
You watched as Naruto pulled a blanket over the other man’s shoulder, and even though he slapped at Naruto’s hands, he didn’t remove the blanket once it was there.
“-in pre heat, not dying, moron,” the man replied, just loud enough for you to catch the end of the sentence.
It was him. You were sure of it. The black hair, his voice. You watched as Naruto pecked him on the lips. Oh.
You ducked back into the corridor, feeling overwhelmed. It was there that you noticed all the pictures lining the walls.
The biggest one was from a wedding ceremony, with you, Sasuke and Naruto standing in the middle, a just visible Sakura and Kakashi stood on the edges. The second picture to capture your attention was one of you and Naruto each kissing one cheek of a very grumpy looking Sasuke. Then there was one from a dinner party, presumably after the wedding because all the clothes were the same. This time you spotted Iruka, Sai and Shikamaru there too.
There were pictures like that everywhere, on every surface and spare bit of wall space.
You, Naruto and Sasuke had… you’d…
Naruto had brought him back, you knew it must have been him, he’d then become hokage and the three of you had clearly got together.
It was… unbelievable, but you could see it. The more you thought about it, the more you understood.
Naruto walked out of the living room and into the corridor where you were standing, and you didn’t know what to do other than tear up and throw yourself at him for a hug.
“Woah, hey,” he said gently, wrapping his arms around you. It only made more tears appear to have him treat you so softly. “What’s going on? You okay?”
You just sniffed and squeezed him.
“Don’t cry,” he said, squeezing you back. “Because then I’ll cry, and I won’t even know why we’re crying.”
You laughed wetly and pulled back, rubbing at your eyes.
“Sorry, sorry,” you cleared your throat and wiped the last of the tears from your cheeks. “I don’t know what happened there, got overwhelmed I guess.”
Naruto nodded but looked towards the door anxiously.
“I really have to go, but I’m only going for the morning, I’ll be back this afternoon as planned, I promise!” he said, looking guilty over leaving you and Sasuke. “His heat isn’t supposed to hit until tomorrow, so everything will be fine, please don’t cry.”
Sasuke’s heat? Yes, you had heard him talk about pre heat earlier, that made sense. He must have thought you were crying because you were worried or overwhelmed about that. Naruto seemed to be hovering by the door, waiting to hear your response before leaving.
“Okay,” you said, pulling yourself together. “I’ll see you in a few hours, yeah?”
Naruto grinned.
“Believe it!”
And with that, he was out the front door like a flash, leaving you and Sasuke home alone. How many times had you imagined a scenario like this? Seeing Sasuke again in Konoha? Too many.
You walked towards the living room, towards Sasuke, like you were possessed. You had to go to him, to see him for yourself and know that he was okay.
You tentatively stepped back into the living room and around the couch until you could see Sasuke’s face. All the air felt like it was punched out of you. It was really, truly him.
His hair was differently styled, longer than you remembered, but just as inky black. The blanket that Naruto had draped over him was still there, covering what looked like lounge clothes, his cheeks were flushed and his eyes slightly hazy. Pre heat, your mind supplied, he was in pre heat.
It was weird to see him older, but weirder to see him in such a vulnerable state. He always tried so hard to avoid situations where someone might see him not on top form. But here he was.
“Good morning,” you whispered, still staring at him.
“Good morning,” came a quiet reply. And that was enough to overwhelm your common sense completely.
You surged forward and the last thing you saw before you pressed your lips against his was the slight widening of his eyes. You were desperate to touch him, your hands flitting from his face to his neck to his chest. You needed to feel him to know it was real. His hands were hovering in shock, but slowly they came to rest on your shoulders and his kissing back got more enthusiastic.
You kissed, and you kissed, and you kissed until your lips were warm and starting to swell. You were soothing yourself with his presence and he appeared happy to let you. The little noises escaping from him added so much to the kiss. When you bit his bottom lip, he gasped. When you sucked on his tongue, he moaned. When you put pressure on his neck with your hands, he basically melted into your grasp.
Your mind was going haywire. He was safe. He was home. He was in heat. And he was yours.
You eventually pulled away to breathe, but something was burning at the back of your throat as you panted. You couldn’t place the cause of it for a moment, but then it hit you like a kunai handle to the head.
It was the scent of slick.
Sasuke appeared to realise it at the same time you did. You saw him panic and start to close off and pull away, but you couldn’t let him pull away, not when the last time he’d done that he’d ended up with Orochimaru. So, you pressed forward again.
You reconnected your lips, but this time with enough force to knock him backwards. Once he was laying down on the couch, you climbed over him and hovered above his hips as you kissed.
Sasuke whined and bared his neck for you now that you were on top. It was pretty normal behaviour for an omega in pre heat being kissed by their mate, but it lit a fire under you anyway.
Had that night with Haku removed your awkwardness around sex completely? Because you didn’t feel anything but desire right now.
No, you just wanted to prove to yourself that Sasuke was real, and the pheromones he was pumping out were messing with your head, that sounded more accurate.
You had flashes of memories from last night invade your mind too, but you tried to push them away, fearing it to be disrespectful to think of another omega at a time like this.
You focused instead on kissing and biting your way down his neck. He was yours. Yours and Naruto’s too. Orochimaru couldn’t have him, you wouldn’t let it happen, not again, never again.
“Stop!” Sasuke said suddenly, voice weak and strangled. “Stop, y-you’ll trigger it early, I don’t want that.”
He pushed at your chest, and you climbed off him as requested. It was like a spell had broken. You could think clearly now, and you had no idea what that reaction had just been. You felt embarrassed that you had lost yourself like that.
You both panted for a while to catch your breath, you sitting on the floor by the couch while Sasuke remained laying on it.
Eventually, Sasuke started to squirm in discomfort. Probably from all the slick leaking into his underwear, which was something you tried very hard to avoid imagining and still failed. He got up, mumbling something you couldn’t make out before scurrying up the stairs, embarrassed.
You let out your own relieved breath as he left. That had been intense.
You sat for a few minutes, just sorting out your emotions towards the situation before you realised that you had an omega in pre heat that you had to look after. You didn’t know how to do that.
Let’s think, what were pre heat symptoms? You grabbed a pad of paper from the coffee table and wrote down a list of everything you could remember from your academy classes.
Pre heat symptoms
·         Large appetite
·         Sleeps more
·         Clingy w/ loved ones, esp. mates
·         Emotional fluctuation
·         Desire to nest and maybe clean/organise nest?
·         ???
You stared at the list, irritated that you had forgot most of the lessons on dynamics from the academy. Not that those lesson weren’t shit anyway.
Regardless, the list was the only thing you had to go on, so you should probably cook a bunch of food for when Sasuke eventually came down, and maybe after eating he’d want a nap? You could bundle him up on the sofa maybe.
Yeah, that sounded like a good plan! Or at least the best plan you had. And hopefully Naruto would be home after that. He would know what to do.
So, you stood up and found the kitchen and then started to cook anything and everything you could find in the kitchen to provide for your mate during his pre heat. You wanted to make sure that you were taking care of him like a mate should; Sasuke shouldn’t carry the burden for your ill preparedness, after all.
About twenty minutes later, Sasuke came back down in different clothes, his hair damp from the shower. You were still making up a tray full of food for him, thankfully future you had obviously stocked the kitchen in advance. You also felt confident that you had a good grasp on the kinds of food he liked, which took some of the stress away.
While you finished up the cooking, Sasuke fluttered back and forth between sitting in the living room with his blanket from earlier and coming into the kitchen to watch you cook in silence. His pre heat was likely making him feel lonely, but the kitchen didn’t provide as much comfort as the soft furnishings on the couch.
By the time you were done, you had filled the tray with all sorts of foods and snacks. Admittedly, you probably went overboard, but you’d never cooked for an omega in pre heat and you weren’t sure how hungry they got and you’d rather have too much than too little.
You carried the heaving tray into the living room where Sasuke seemed the most comfortable and slid it onto the coffee table. Sasuke’s stomach growled as you did so, and your inner alpha purred happily at the thought that you had predicted and met your omega’s needs.
Damn, this ‘being around an omega in heat’ thing was driving your instincts wild. You didn’t realise it would be so strong.
Sasuke didn’t say thank you, but he did press himself up against your side once you sat down, which was basically the same thing in Uchiha speak. He ate slowly and methodically, which made you worry that you had indeed made too much food, but despite his slow speed, he didn’t stop after one plate, or two plates, or three plates. In fact, he didn’t stop until the entire tray was empty.
Iruka sensei clearly hadn’t been lying about the hunger part of pre heat. You knew it was because of his need to store calories that would be burnt off during his heat and not so easily replaced when his appetite dropped. You had heard of omegas who barely ate anything during their heats, so it was the safest strategy to stock up beforehand.
When he swallowed his last mouthful, Sasuke sighed contentedly and put more weight against your side.
“How are you feeling?” you asked, pressing a hand to his forehead. He was definitely warmer than normal.
“I’m fine,” Sasuke replied, his words almost interrupted by a yawn. That’s right, he should be getting sleepy now. Along with conserving calories, omegas in pre heat also had to conserve energy in case their heat was intense enough to keep them awake for 2-3 days.
You pushed all the empty plates and cutlery onto the coffee table and made sure the couch was clear of all debris.
“Hey, why don’t you take a nap?” you said gently. The Sasuke you remembered probably wouldn’t take too kindly to such a suggestion, but this Sasuke seemed to begrudgingly agree because he pulled his blanket back around his shoulders and made himself comfy on your shoulder.
It was so cute that he immediately used you as a pillow.
You leant back to allow him a better angle and his breathing dropped almost immediately. He must have been tired.
As Sasuke dozed, pressed up against your side, you finally had time to think.
The first thoughts in your head were about Sasuke. You still couldn’t believe that Naruto had fulfilled his promise of bringing Sasuke home to Konoha and that he’d seemingly escaped any major punishment for his actions while he was a missing nin. It filled you with excitement for the day that your Sasuke would return home, whether that was in a romantic or platonic context, you weren’t sure yet.
It felt natural to go from thinking about that to thinking about the relationship you had with both Naruto and Sasuke in this version of your future. You wouldn’t have really considered such a thing, but that didn’t mean you didn’t fully understand how you could be happy with them. A lot of the things you had thought about Naruto earlier, also applied to Sasuke. All three of you had gone through so much together and you’d always be closer than close. And in this world, that closeness was apparently really close.
Like, really close, you thought as Sasuke breathed on your neck.
Also, you couldn’t lie, it would be worth picking this future just to see the look on everyone’s face, especially Kakashi sensei’s, when you mated both the team omegas.
Would Naruto and Sasuke get together if you picked someone else? Should you play matchmaker? That might be fun, even if you went with a different version of your future.
Wait! Your stomach dropped as you realised something pretty significant. The fortune teller’s repeated message had said you would be spending these 24-hour cycles with the seven people that you could love the most. You had assumed that meant seven cycles, of which this was six, but if you had two mates this time, then that meant you’d experienced all seven…
This was your last cycle.
You felt strange thinking about that. It felt like you’d only just started, it had gone so quickly, like a fever dream. Not that you were fully convinced that this wasn’t a fever dream still. Anxiety about making your decision started to grow in your chest, but you pushed it away as best as you could. You needed to enjoy this cycle, give Naruto and Sasuke their fair shot, and not worry about tomorrow. You could make your decision once this ended, but while it was happening, you would forget about it.
With those thoughts still floating around your mind, you drifted to sleep, the scent of a contended omega knocking you out faster than you expected.
It was the sound of giggling that woke you up in the end. You slowly opened your eyes part way, keeping them somewhat protected from the sudden influx of light, and you were greeted by Naruto in his full hokage gear, a camera clutched in his hands.
It was so weird to see him wearing the hat like that.
You tried to sit up only to realise something was pinning you down. You opened your eyes properly and your vision was partially obscured by a head of black hair that was purring away buried in your neck.
Sasuke had certainly moved quite a bit in his sleep, because you were now completely pinned under him. Now wonder you were feeling so warm; it was a mixture of the body heat from Sasuke and the embarrassment that Naruto had obviously just taken a picture of you both like this.
Naruto looked so giddy though, which soothed your embarrassment somewhat.
“Wanna play video games while he sleeps?” Naruto said quietly but with a huge grin.
“Hell yeah, I do,” you replied in the same tone. “But you’re going to have to help me out of here first.”
Naruto snorted, putting down the bags in his hands on the coffee table, just about managing to fit them around the breakfast debris, and coming over to extract you from Sasuke’s unrelenting grip.
It took about five minutes, but you were eventually freed, and Sasuke was left to doze by himself, now hugging a pillow that you had scented instead. Naruto had run to get changed while you tidied up the plates and cutlery and also had a nosey in the bags. Naruto had brought more food back with him, something that you were incredibly happy to see; you had a lot of food in, but not enough if Sasuke was going to eat like a one-man army for every meal.
When Naruto returned, you sat on floor cushions together in front of the TV. You were incredibly excited to see some future video games. Hell, even games that were from your time would be great because it wasn’t like you’d had time to play any recently.
Naruto picked out some sort of fighting game, which didn’t surprise you for even one moment, and you decided to chat with him while he set it up.
“How was work, hokage sama?” you asked, teasing him by knocking him on the knee with your foot. “Did you sign lots of important things?”
“Ugh, I don’t normally wish for that, but paperwork would have been a thousand times better than having to meet with the civilian council,” he grimaced. “I’m so glad Shikamaru knew stuff about the business fairs in Wind Country, because the council is wanting to start doing something similar here and I didn’t even know what they were.”
You snorted. Naruto was incredibly overpowered, but you weren’t sure he’d ever understand business or economics. You were pretty good thankfully, so you would be a gracious friend and offer to help on occasion.
Wait, Shikamaru? Was Naruto the hokage that had been partly responsible for overworking Shikamaru? Or was it the hokage before him? You did seem to be a bit older in this cycle than Shikamaru’s but still…
This man better hope he wasn’t the cause of Shikamaru’s breakdown, because your plans for when you returned would change from ‘help Shikamaru’s friends support him in making reasonable boundaries’ to ‘beat up your friend for causing problems’.
“That sucks,” you said instead of voicing your threat. “At least you’re home now, the council can’t get you here.”
Naruto laughed and passed you a controller.
“I wouldn’t put it past them to try breaking down the door. Anyway, are you ready to get your ass beat?”
You scoffed at his smack talk.
“You wish, fishcake boy, I’m going to destroy you!”
Naruto squawked in protest.
“You are not!”
“Are too!”
“In your dreams!”
You ended up winning the first round by the skin of your teeth. Button mashing was the superior tactic after all. Naruto was way too focused on combos and flashy moves.
“Whatever,” Naruto grumbled as you gloated in his face. “I would totally win in a real fight, that’s what counts.”
You knew that he was right. He was the hokage and you were mentally about a decade in the past, so there was no way you could hope to fight Naruto and win.
But you weren’t going to let that fact stop your banter.
“No, I would totally win,” you argued. “All I’d have to do is like, put a poisoned bowl of ramen in front of you and it’d be game over. Playing dirty with ramen would be my winning strategy.”
“Playing dirty with ramen, huh?” Naruto said, wiggling his eyebrows. “There’s an idea for when it’s time for my heat.”
“Gross!” you protested, pushing him on his shoulders. “You’re disgusting, Naruto.”
“Yeah? Are you saying you don’t want to lick ramen broth off my stomach?”
“Shut up,” you said, trying your best not to imagine it. “You disgust me.”
“Does this disgust you?” he said, before pouncing on you, sending you both to the floor. He covered your face in kisses while you squealed at him to stop. You decided to tickle him in revenge and soon you were both laughing and shrieking and out of breath.
Naruto was hovering over you, chest heaving, signature grin looking at home on his face, when he looked at something over his head.
“Oops,” he said, getting off you. “We didn’t mean to wake you, Sasuke, sorry.”
Oh, you had forgotten that Sasuke was there. You sat up, Naruto climbing off you, and turned to see Sasuke with a tremendously bad bedhead looking at you in return.
It took everything in you not to laugh at his hair, but something told you that if even Naruto had resisted from teasing him, you should avoid it too.
“Whatever,” he mumbled, getting up with his blanket still tucked around him. He walked over to you and Naruto and slotted himself in between you without acknowledging either of you. You and Naruto wordlessly shuffled to make room for him.
“Here,” Naruto said passing him one of the bags from the coffee table. “You should eat.”
Sasuke accepted the bag and immediately started digging through the snacks it contained. He ended up picking out a pack of onigiri to munch on while Naruto started up the next round of your game.
This was so domestic and lovely. You had never imagined there would be a future where you and Naruto and Sasuke would be here together like this, snuggled up on the floor, playing video games and eating onigiri.
At one point, Naruto attempted to snatch an onigiri from Sasuke, but he was promptly growled away.
“Alright, alright, I’ll grab something else,” he said easily, pressing a kiss to Sasuke’s head, something which only make him growl more. “Want something?”
He held the bag open for you and you spotted a few of your favourite sprinkled in. You gratefully grabbed one; you hadn’t had much of the food earlier because Sasuke had eaten most of it.
The rest of the afternoon was spent in much the same way, you and Naruto making your way through several video games, Sasuke, who slowly became more and more animated, giving his cruel and brutal commentary about how much you both sucked at them.
And if the bickering made you tear up a few times, well, no one appeared to notice.
By the time the evening had rolled around, you had all decided to relocate to the nest upstairs. Sasuke had started getting antsy and you were grateful that Naruto was there to understand that that behaviour meant he needed to go to his nest, because you were too ill informed on pre heats to pick that up and Sasuke was too stubborn to admit when he needed something.
This was the second nest you were invading during this weird time travel themed week, even though you technically had permission. It felt like wandering onto sacred land with the permission of the senile groundskeeper who had mistaken you for the deity the land was dedicated to. You had permission, but technically under false pretences.
At least Naruto and Sasuke were both your friends and teammates. That made it a little less weird than entering Kiba’s nest had been.
The nesting room was split in half, one side for Naruto’s nest and the other side, Sasuke’s. You could immediately tell which half was which.
Sasuke’s was filled with mainly dark colours, woollen blankets and a cute little shelf that had a bunch of things for a heat stacked on there. Naruto’s side was bright, chaotic, and filled with stuffed toys and cushions more than blankets. He also had a mini fridge on his side that he’d covered with stickers.
It was a weird visual.
Regardless, you all found your spot, favouring Sasuke’s side of the nest mostly, seeing as he was the one in pre heat.
“This feels like a sleep over,” you said, reclining backwards. “It’s like we’re about to start talking about crushes or something.”
Naruto laughed and picked up a pillow from his own side to throw at you.
“Or should we have a pillow fight?” he teased. “I mean, it’s not like any of our crushes will be that interesting, it’ll just be people already in the room.”
“It’s not a sleepover,” Sasuke grumbled, picking up the stray pillow and throwing it back to Naruto’s side of the nest. “And we’re not having a pillow fight.”
“Yeah, but I mean,” you continued, ignoring Sasuke for a moment. “We all must have had crushes before we got together, right? Like what about Haku?”
“Oh, Haku,” Naruto sighed dreamily. “I saw him the other day, he’s still super pretty.”
“He is,” you agreed, thinking of a very different encounter than Naruto likely was.
There was silence for a moment before both you and Naruto turned to Sasuke expectantly. Sasuke crossed his arms and didn’t say anything, but as the silence carried on, he turned his head away and spoke.
“Haku’s… nice looking,” he said reluctantly.
“Come off it, you totally had a crush on him during that mission! We all did!” Naruto said, indignantly. “You can’t fool us.”
“I did not,” Sasuke said. “He tried to kill us.”
“So?” Naruto replied, sounding unsure what that would have to do with finding someone attractive.
“You’re an idiot,” was the only thing Sasuke said, before he turned over on his side, facing one of the walls.
“Noooo, don’t ignore me,” Naruto whined, leaning over and poking Sasuke on the cheek. “You’re supposed to love me.”
“Get off of me,” he growled, shoving backwards. His words had no real animosity in them though, you were fluent enough in Uchiha to recognise that. “Dobe.”
Now, you’d seen Naruto and Sasuke fight many, many times before, far too many times in fact and the more recent times hurt your heart to think about, but what was ensuing in front of you right now was nothing like that… They were slapping at each other’s hands like children.
“This is like watching a puppy and a kitten playfight,” you muttered to yourself, never taking your eyes off the weirdly competitive hand slapping fight. You wished they would stop though, what was the best way to do that? Shock value perhaps?
“Well, my first crush was Iruka sensei.”
Both of them froze, blinking at you in sync, before-
“What!” Naruto yelled, before choking on his own spit. “What- but- how- Iruka sensei? Seriously? Why?”
Sasuke looked quietly horrified and was obviously thinking the same thing. You had succeeded in distracting them, but at what cost?
“Well, I guess, um,” you felt bashful under their incredulous eyes. “I don’t know he was so nice and reliable and a really good teacher and he has pretty eyes and an even prettier smile so-“
You kept babbling, not helping your case at all. Naruto looked like he was questioning everything in the universe while Sasuke looked a little green around the gills.
“He was our teacher,” Sasuke emphasised. “Our teacher.”
“I know that!” you said defensively. “I’m not saying I tried anything! It’s totally normal for kids to get crushes on their teachers, y’know, you don’t have to get weird about it.”
“Next you’ll be telling us you had a crush on Kakashi sensei,” Naruto said with a grimace.
“Ew,” was your only reply.
“Ew,” Sasuke added.
“Ew,” Naruto finished.
You all looked at each other for a moment and then burst out laughing.
You definitely needed to do more of this when you went back to your time, when Sasuke returned, and Naruto wasn’t so busy. You would invite Sakura too, Sai as well. You wanted this in your life so badly. Friends and hang outs and sleepovers and just, everything.
But you needed to be in the village more often for that to happen. You decided then and there, as you watched Naruto and Sasuke laugh until they cried at the thought of someone having a crush on Kakashi sensei, that you would figure out a way to stay in the village more.
You didn’t want to be miserable and alone forever.
You had all bantered and chatted for a while. It was fun to be with your friends again and interesting to hear more details about the years you hadn’t lived.
Apparently, Naruto had had a rather persistent admirer/stalker a few years ago that Sasuke took great pleasure in mocking, Kakashi had been the hokage before Naruto (and wasn’t that a wild thought) and apparently Sai had done a whole myriad of things that meant Sasuke scoffed every time someone said his name.
It was a top tier gossip session.
A top tier gossip session that had somehow ended with Sasuke’s cock in Naruto’s mouth.
“Not so fast,” Sasuke gasped, fisting a hand into Naruto’s hair. “Watch the teeth.”
Naruto rolled his eyes but obliged, slowing right down, likely much more than Sasuke had wanted because he bucked his hips in protest.
You were kneeling by Sasuke’s head feeling like a strange, perverted voyeur. You should definitely be joining in somehow, but all the confidence you had from earlier was nowhere to be seen. It was intimidating… maybe you should just start with something easier and more familiar.
Like kissing. Kissing worked.
You reangled yourself and bent down over Sasuke’s head, cupping his face with your hands. He seemed eager, tilting his head up, ready to receive your kiss. You kissed him slowly, forcing as much sensuality as you could into it. Sasuke was much sloppier than earlier, likely due to the activities of Naruto down below, but it didn’t matter to you. Being able to swallow all the little noises he made with your lips was incredibly hot and you were happy to do it.
Sasuke’s movements became jerkier and jerkier as time moved on. He was moaning more, gasping more, seemingly forgetting that he was in the middle of a kiss more. You snuck one hand down to his bare chest, not to focus on increasing his pleasure, but just to rub soothing circles on his chest. If pre heat was anything like pre rut, he would enjoy some soothing touches mixed in with the sexy ones.
“I’m going to-“ Sasuke seized and you pulled back to watch. His face contorted, little flashes of red visible behind his eyelids, and his toes curled. Naruto didn’t try to pull away, in fact, he seemed to push Sasuke’s cock further down his throat, sealing his lips around the base.
It was all over in a few seconds, but as you watched Sasuke collapse, panting, like he’d just had his soul sucked out and Naruto swallow with a cheeky grin and a wipe of his lips, it felt like eternity.
“Are you up next?” Naruto asked with a wolfish grin. “I think Sasuke needs a break.”
Just the insinuation that he needed a break had Sasuke opening his eyes and struggling to sit up.
“I shouldn’t do anymore, or my heat will trigger,” he said, like he was explaining why he couldn’t join without an insult to his stamina. “We shouldn’t have done that anyway.”
“That’s fine, Sasuke, don’t push yourself,” you said, wanting to be a supportive mate through the cloud of arousal.
“Yeah, that’s fine,” Naruto concurred. “You can just watch.”
By the end, you could add ‘Naruto has a magical mouth’ to the list of things you’d learnt on this cycle.
This was your final night like this, in the future. Your heart ached as you imagined returning to the loneliness that you remembered.
Stop, you reprimanded yourself, this whole thing was about knowing how to fix the loneliness, not returning to wallow in it. You would be fine. You could make a game plan during your first few days, and you would build a life you loved.
Sasuke snuffled a bit on your chest and shifted his position to be more comfortable. You were all laying together now, Sasuke on his side of the nest, Naruto on his side, and you in the middle. It was so comfortable that you fully believed they had coordinated the nests to allow a comfy spot for you in the middle. How sweet.
Naruto, on the other hand, was entertaining himself by fiddling with your hair, but his hand movements had been getting slower and slower as he relaxed further into the nest.
“Goodnight,” he said, yawning. “Don’t forget to wake us up if you go into heat, okay? That’s why we’re here.”
“Hn,” a very tired Sasuke agreed, not bothering to open his eyes. His head was a pleasant weight on your chest, and it was clear that he was already halfway to dreamland.
“Goodnight to you, too,” he whispered, leaning over and pressing his lips against yours. “I hope you sleep well because you’re going to need it.”
“Goodnight,” you whispered into the dark room. “To both of you. I promise I’ll cherish this day forever.”
And for the final time, you closed your eyes in the future, knowing that you’d open them in the past.
You didn’t quite finish deciding whether you were going to kiss the fortune teller or punch her in the face before your consciousness drifted away.

I submitted something similar to Ray for the team uzumaki au but now I’m hopping it was eaten by tumblr just so there isn’t a weird cross post double thing. BUT we’re talking foxy naruto so-
According to some people’s stories, foxes have been known to leave gifts for people much like crows (the sources are first hand accounts so idk if this is true or an accurate reflection of fox mannerisms). So I’m just picturing Naruto leaving pretty rocks, animal bones, buttons, weapons, etc for his team. But since it’s Naruto of course it’s not normal versions of those things. So the “shiny rocks” are probably literal crystals and diamonds that he somehow just finds (and normal ones too cuz that’s adorable ), the “animal bones” could include giant ass teeth that are big enough to be made into daggers/swords, the buttons could be like golden cuff links he nicked from on a mission, and the weapons could be anything from old ninja wire he found in a bush to like a legendary blade he found washed up on the shore (Uzushiogakure vibes who?).
As another foxy Naruto thing, I firmly believe he would have an inexplicable urge to feed his team all the time, but not just ramen or their personal favorite foods. He wants to give them food that’s part of a foxes diet. One day he just finds himself foraging for berries and hunting for fresh meat. But since he’s a whole lot bigger and more capable than a regular fox at hunting, his prey is a bit…larger than you’d expect. Later that day, he straight up drops a field dressed bear or something at team 7’s feet look Proud (tm) cuz oh yeah he is so good at keeping his teammates feed and kakashi (who I always head cannon as being both wolfy and entirely incapable of being truly surprised) is like thanks brat you mind if my ninken have some?
Tumblr do be eating things. But they would still be different enough even if Tumblr didn’t eat it.
Akkskshsb at first none of them (well two do them really) have no idea where all the little gifts are coming from. Sakura finds flowers and crystals and kunai lined up on her window sill every morning like clockwork. She pretends to be annoyed by it but she has the first flower, the first gift, pressed and preserved. Sasuke gets more weapons than anything else, but occasionally he’ll get a cool rock. His favorite that he will never admit is a red stone with black marks. It sits by his bed and makes him feel a little less alone.
Kakashi knows. Naruto isn’t the first Uzumaki he’s known. Not the first fox hissed in human skin. Kushina was the same way. The first gift, fresh meat on his counter, one large piece and several smaller ones cut for the ninken, isn’t so much of a surprise as it is a gut punch. A memory. It takes some getting used to, seeing them again. Being claimed. He’s not a kit anymore. Not Kushina’s grumpy little wolf cub, but her son has claimed him all the same.
(The meat tastes like guilt and, perhaps cruelly, hope)
I can see the providing thing being really prevalent when they’re out of the village on missions. Like the first night on their trip to wave Naruto just plonks down a fresh kill with a sharp smile and eyes glinting in the low light and Kakashi has to step in before one of the others could say something to discourage this. They always eat well when they’re out as a team.
(Naruto remembers what it’s like to be hungry. He’ll make sure his people don’t have to feel the same.)

Hi! It says you’re doing hc requests and your asks are still open, so could you do something for warlords and an MC who is a theatre kid? Singing, dancing, even costumes for her performances? I would live Nobu, Hideyoshi, Shingen, Kenshin, and Mitsunari especially if not everyone. 💖💝
Since in my mind’s eye thinking of this, I picture mc as a highschooler so all these are platonic/fluff and gender neutral (also sorry I am a novice to theater but I know a little so bear with me)
Nobunaga- It’s canon that he knows traditional dance choreography and is probably versed in the arts and entertainment with being the lord of a castle and all, but golly was he surprised when he asked mc to come to his room to interrogate this stranger that popped up out of nowhere. Mc told him everything since he was scaring them, but hearing their stories of their time intrigued him and when he asked what they liked to do in their time, mc lit up and talked about musicals and theater. Now every night he invites mc to his room and in exchange for konpeito they tell him about a play or teach him a song. When mc catches him sneaking in the kitchen he likes to quote Hamilton “If I can prove that I never broke the law, Do you promise not to tell another soul what you saw? No one else was in the room where it happened.” while giving them a piece to silence them as they both snicker and hang out. If mc wanted to host a play, he would snap his fingers and let them do whatever. Make the other warlords participate, give all the fabric access for costumes, make mc the director, have a whole makeshift stage and audience chamber. Anything to make his lil pal smile.
Hideyoshi- When he was suspicious of mc and followed them around, he noticed that they were constantly humming or singing unfamiliar tunes while doing chores and seemed so happy, making his guard go down. When he asked mc about what they were singing, mc lit up and went on a tangent about musicals and it made him warm up to them since they were like an excited kid talking about their passions. When he started inevitably going big brother/ mama hen mode and escorted them around, he often got their tunes stuck in his head. Every time it rained, he would start humming ‘singing in the rain’ and if he saw hills while riding he’d start lightly humming ‘the hills are alive with the sound of music’ because his brain is now hardwired from being classically conditioned by mc to sing/hum along with them. Would always be mc’s audience and supporter if they wanted to host any performances in the castle. If Mitsuhide tries to tease mc about their performances or quirky dances, Hideyoshi is not afraid to pick a fight and defend his new adopted child and their sengoku broadway dreams.
Kenshin- Does not get it or care when mc starts bringing up musicals and plays. “What’s the point if there’s no violence?” “Well, there is one about the French Revolutionary War.” He heard war, he is now intrigued. Mc could only really talk about plays with violence in it to gain his attention, but he got the appeal and liked how people can get creative with murder. Would even catch onto some song quotes, but brings them up in the worst times. The first time mc saw him murder someone, he thought it’d be appropriate to say “He ran into my knife. He ran into my knife 10 times.”, thinking Chicago’s Cell Block Tango would make this modern day teenager brush it off. It did not. When he’s grumpy and doesn’t have sake, pickled plums, or anybody to stab, he asks mc to entertain him with Sasuke acting out fighting scenes in plays, liking a lot of Shakespeare Hamlet and Macbeth but only the violent parts. It makes him happy seeing mc happy, especially when they’re talking about violence, even if its just about a play. Mitsunari- Is really intrigued when mc starts talking about plays and musicals since they’re like stories and poetry from a foreign and distant time. This scholar wants to whip out a scroll every time mc talk about a play or musical so he can record it to read for later. He loves learning about it all. Cats the musical? “Cats can sing in the future?!”. He loves hearing mc sing and dance. They tried getting him to do a dance from Newsies and it ended in a bookshelf collapsing and the sliding door to break over innocent passerby Ieyasu, who further cursed Mitsunari. He would love to help mc rewrite and be a scribe for their new play idea of Azuichi Hamilton Shingen- Wanting to make a nervous mc ease up, he asked them about their favorite hobby or entertainment. Coaxing mc to talk, they started going on a ramble of musicals and plays. He’s hooked on Phantom of the Opera and Grease cuz he’s a romantic at heart and loves the drama and the fluffiness of the Grease story. Obviously mc had to add context due to the time period difference, but he got the gist. Wants to learn the duets of the songs so he and mc can have their dramatic musical outbursts to cut off Yukimura fussing Shingen or make Yuki jump with a “SING ONCE AGAIN WITH ME”. Shingen would kind of be like Hideyoshi but more with a cool uncle vibe. Would brag about mc’s talent of remembering plays and knowing so many songs to sing. Kennyo wants to shrivel away when Shingen goes on a ramble of their amazing adopted teen, thinking that he would’ve been done after Yukimura. Nope, my man trained a warrior, he’s gonna train a performing star.

Middle Ground
A Mitsuhide Akechi fanfic - approx. 2200 words. This scene occurs well after the events of the romantic epilogue. Fluff.
First: Mitsuhide and the Maiden
Previous: Bonding
“So . . . separate beds?” Mitsuhide’s wry smile was only a little bitter.
“Yes. I know it’s silly. I’d . . . I’d rather be in there with you.” The chatelaine, soon to be Lady Akechi, looked down, her expression a mixture of shame and defiance.
“It’s fine. I will have you all to myself soon enough. What is a night or two apart?”
She looked up without raising her head, trying to gauge his emotions.
Mitsuhide wasn’t having any of that. He took her chin between his finger and thumb and gently lifted until her gaze met his. “It is fine.” Then he leaned forward to brush a kiss across her cheek. With his lips almost close enough to touch her skin, he added. “Are you so eager to be in my arms again? Do you want to . . . test out the guest room? Or your childhood bed?”
He had the intended effect. She shivered and licked her lips. “You are so bad!”
“You are the one protesting our brief separation.” Mitsuhide pressed another kiss to her cheek and leaned back.
She crossed her arms. “You’re right. It’s just a few nights. But when we get back to the city -” a wicked smile turned her lips up at the corners, promising all sorts of fun.
“So forward, my little mouse. So eager. You make me wish we were home already.”
“That’s the idea.” She turned and threw him a saucy look. “Something to dream about.”
Mitsuhide chuckled. “Good night, little one.” Something to dream about indeed. He watched her hips as she walked down the hall, until she turned into her room and shut the door. She really had no idea what impact she had on him. He wondered if it was his practiced art of hiding his true emotion, or simply that she couldn’t see how beautiful she was. How desirable.
He went into the room and shut the door. It was so strange. The electronic hum of household devices. The cold fluorescent light from the street lamps in his window. Distant traffic sounds blending with barking dogs and strains of music. Mitsuhide felt suddenly very alone and very out of place.
Despite his refusal, the thought of spending one night, much less three, without his little one, felt impossible. A burden too heavy for him to bear. He needed to feel her in his arms, to fall asleep to the sound of her breathing, the beat of her heart. Her warmth grounded him in this strange place.
Mitsuhide gave a dry, soundless laugh. Who was the little mouse now?
Slowly, meditatively, he dressed for bed and lay down. He would embrace this world, different as it was from his own. He had to, because it was the one that gave birth to his beloved. And so, listening to the heartbeat of this small town, the viscous thrum of modern life, he drifted into an uneasy sleep.
Miyake and Sasuke arrived the following day at lunch. They met up at a local restaurant. Youko was friends with the owner and able to borrow a few tables in the back for privacy.
Minoru, the chatelaine’s often grumpy father, seemed to be on his best behavior. Not smiling, but distantly polite to the two newcomers. He thawed a little when his daughter threw her arms around each of the men in greeting.
No one said much as they ate. Youko and Minoru sat beside their daughter on one side of the table, glancing up at her strange friends. Sasuke, Mitsuhide and Miyake sat across from them, looking nervous.
It was Sasuke who finally broke the silence. He cleared his throat. “I understand your daughter told you about our time in the Sengoku. Understandably, you want proof. You have questions. We are here to give you what evidence we can.”
Minoru snorted. “What do you get out of this charade?” He gestured to Mitsuhide. “Is he paying you?”
Miyake looked as if he wanted to speak up, but Sasuke beat him to it. “No. I am here because your daughter is my friend.” He reached into his bag. “I know it isn’t much, but I brought my ninja kit as proof. These - these are smoke pellets. And that is a kunai. This is a sleeping poison, and this -” he went through the items, explaining what they were and how he made them. Detailed descriptions of the tools and materials he had available.
When Sasuke finished, Minoru looked thoughtful.
Youko smiled across as Sasuke. “You seem a very resourceful young man. And you are also the one that discovered these wormholes?”
“Yes ma’am.” Sasuke dipped his head, embarrassed by the compliment.
“It could just be you have a - a fascination with this stuff. Read a lot. Saw some movies,” Minoru said. His gruff voice held more than a hint of doubt. Even he didn’t buy his own explanation.
Sasuke nodded. “I could have. But even that would not yield the encyclopedic knowledge I’ve developed. I would go into greater detail, but I imagine you don’t have the underlying historical education to make use of most of the information I could provide. Unless . . . Are you a history buff?” His voice sounded different at the end, as if this question was important. Light glinted off his glasses, hiding his eyes. The air around him was charged, almost crackling with a sudden and unexpected energy.
“No. I can’t say I am,” Minoru replied.
“Hm, too bad.” The strange tension in the ninja disappeared as suddenly as it came.
Mitsuhide nudged Miyake. The warrior muttered something under his breath and then rolled his shoulders. “Alright, old man. I don’t blame you for doubting us. I’d think I was crazy too, or lying. But what Lady Akechi told you is true. She’s been living with my lord for the last few months. And it’s a good thing too. He smiles a lot more now. Eats too, and sleeps almost like a human.”
“Miyake,” Mitsuhide growled. “That’s not the kind of evidence they need to hear.”
“Sorry, but it’s the truth. And if you don’t mind me saying, well, even if you do, your daughter makes for one hell of a princess. She makes the servants happy to do a good job because she notices the little things. And the guards . . . they’d all die for her, and not just because Lord Akechi demands it. She’s kind and good to all of us. I don’t get to spend time at the castle, but I hear how she remembers birthdays and congratulates newlyweds and -”
Youko laughed, a sound Mitsuhide recognized. Much like his own little one, but matured. More elegance with just the same amount of joy. “It sounds like you have a following,” she smiled at her daughter.
The chatelaine blushed. “I really don’t. He’s exaggerating, mom. Really.”
“He is not,” Mitsuhide chided. “Though I don’t think that’s the kind of proof her father -”
Minoru interrupted, his gruff voice quieting the table. “It’s clear you’ve gotten to know her. My little girl.” He gave her a brief smile. “I am still . . . it’s a lot to take in. This wild story. But she stands by it and there is clearly - something true in it.”
His daughter hugged him. “I knew you’d come around, papa.”
He dislodged himself from her unexpected embrace. “I didn’t say I’m buying the whole story. Just,” he waved his hand, “some of it rings true.”
The tension at their table eased, and conversation began to flow more naturally. Youko and Minoru had a lot of questions, and were finally ready to hear the answers.
***
Kyubei followed Ranmaru through the thick forest undergrowth, barely able to make out the dirt path he led them down. This was supposed to lead to a safe house, one that Kennyo agreed to meet him in. He wished the demon-abbot had a taste for teahouses instead of abandoned forest shacks, but it could be worse.
He could be with Hideyoshi, hunting Motonari across the ports. Kyubei wasn’t afraid of pirates, but being on a boat . . . the constant roll of the ocean waves made him sick as a dog. No matter how many trips he made, he never gained any kind of tolerance for the motion. So this, the dirt and the bugs and the thick air under the trees, was a better deal all around.
“This is it.” Ranmaru stopped just before the path opened on a small clearing. There was a half-rotted shack ahead, once a shrine to some local deity, now fallen into disrepair.
Kyubei was surprised to see he wasn't’ the only one here to speak to the monk. Another familiar figure sat on the wooden steps outside the shrine. “Shingen?”
Takeda grinned up at him, pushing a lock of sweaty hair out of his face. “If it isn’t Mitsuhide’s maid!” He laughed. “Kidding, kidding! I just expected to see the kitsune out here himself.”
“He is otherwise engaged.”
“Is he?” Shingen’s smile was dangerous now. “This wouldn’t have anything to do with our missing ninja, would it?”
“If it does, I’ll send him your head,” Yukimura spoke up from somewhere to Kyubei’s left.
Ranmaru put his hands up, laughing as if this were all so silly. “It’s too early for threats. Come on! Let’s make some tea and relax. The abbot will be here shortly.”
Kyubei turned his head a fraction, just enough to see Yukimura lower his spear. “Tea would be good.” He ignored the younger warrior’s scowl as he followed Ranmaru to the shrine.
He didn’t sit, but stood near Takeda, resting his back against a tree.
Shingen, for his part, pretended to be fully relaxed. It wasn’t quite effective though. His brow held a waxy sheen, his eyes looked sunken and fevered. Worse, his breathing was labored. A rasp, harsh as a winter cough.
Kyubei watched him carefully. This was a bad situation. A dying man had fewer qualms than one that had to live with his decisions. He hadn’t realized Takeda was so bad off though, despite the reports he’d received. The Tiger of the Kai was legend. Not a man to be taken down by sickness. And yet.
“Don’t get any ideas,” Yukimura snapped, coming to stand beside his lord.
Shingen chuckled. “So protective, Yuki.” His laugh turned into a thick, unproductive cough. When he finally got control of himself, he directed his attention to Kyubei. “So. Where did your lord and my ninja go off to? And don’t tell me you don’t know. There’s too much tying their disappearance together. I’d rather not have to kill you today for lying to me.”
Another situation he wished he had his lord’s guidance. What information was safe to pass along, and what plans would the ripples of this conversation affect? Kyubei swallowed. “I suspect they have gone to visit the chatelaine’s home. 500 years in the future.”
Shingen nodded as if this was the answer he expected. “Sasuke asked me if I’d like to visit his hometown. He said - he said they could cure me.”
“And then he left without you.” Yukimura punched the shrine wall, causing the whole building to tremble.
Ranmaru poked his head out. “Hey! Careful or you’ll bring the whole thing down on my head!”
“Sorry,” Yukimura growled.
“If it is any consolation, I don’t believe Lord Akechi or Sarutobi left when they did intentionally. The information my lord left indicates the trip was meant to take place later. He was still . . . putting things in place for his extended absence.”
“That’s bull,” Yukimura grumbled, but he relaxed his grip on the spear.
They had no more time to talk it over as Kennyo’s shadow fell across the clearing. He came out of the trees like a spirit, the rings on his staff clinking. “It appears you found me. Again.”
Shingen grinned. “Well, old friend, I did have to hunt through every abandoned shrine in the province to get to this one.”
Kennyo snorted in disbelief.
“Ranmaru brought me,” Kyubei bowed. “It is a pleasure to see you again.”
“I have little time or patience for guests. Tell me what you want.” Kennyo crossed his arms.
“Your help with the false emperor.” Kyubei didn’t look up from his bow. “We both know Ashikaga is dead. The scribe we set up in his place, or the men around him, have gone astray.”
“I could care less. Let the exiled shogun harass the devil-king. Nobunaga and his pawns can go to hell.” Kennyo’s eyes were dark and full of anger. It radiated from him like heat from a fire.
Shingen shrugged. “Yeah, sure. I hate him too. But it’s not just him getting hit. These idiot daimyos in his retinue are conscripting farmers. Villagers. Innocent folk that should be left out of a power grab.”
The demon abbot’s eyes fell on his old friend. “And you believe this is a worse fate than what the Oda have in store for them?”
“I do.” Shingen’s gaze didn’t waver.
Kennyo’s shoulders shook and it took Kyubei a moment to realize the abbot was laughing. He shook his head. “You always were a fool, Shingen. But fine. I will tell you what I know. I don’t think you can stop what has been set in motion.”

nicknames.
Nicknames weren’t particularly an important aspect in their relationship. Considering they all are... quiet, sarcastic bastards, they can’t use a nickname for their life. There’s times that they tried using nicknames, but it just felt out of place, or too ridiculous for their tastes.  Sometimes, Sasuke would just think of the most obnoxious nicknames he hears from Naruto, and uses it on his boyfriends. “Princess, can you pass me the folder please.” he would say, biting his lip to stop his laughter from escaping. Neji look at him with an annoyed glare, throwing the folder farther away from him, much to his amusement.
Their nicknames are mostly shortened versions of their names, like...’Ji, Shika’, ‘Sas. Sometimes they call each other babe, love or dear. They would just pile on the couch and throw different lovey-dovey nicknames, that they would never— ever use.
Shikamaru’s head is laying on Sasuke’s thigh,  the Uchiha running his hand through the other’s hair. The two of them are on the couch, comfortable and quiet, enjoying the little touches shared between them. Shikamaru lets his hand graze over Sasuke’s unoccupied hand, his soft hands with little scars caressing his calloused ones.
Neji steps into the room, flopping down in front of Sasuke’s legs, leaning on his knee. “You alright there, bub?” he asks, a hand going to pat Neji.  “I’m quite alright sweetheart, no need to get your pretty head worried over it.” Neji teases him, emphasizing the pet name, making him blush slightly. Shikamaru snorts, “Aw, sugar is embarrassed.” His cheeks warm against the palm holding it, making him scowl.  “Hn? Need affection, sunshine?” he asks, leaning down to rub his nose against Shikamaru, the Nara looking away.  He looks up to Neji, “ Treasure, come here.” he drawls sweetly, hand outstretched to pull Neji.  ”Would you mind moving a bit, pretty boy?” Neji asks Shikamaru, the Nara sitting up to give space. The three of them move around the couch so the three of them fit, Shikamaru leaning on his side while Neji sprawls out in both their laps, humming.  “Let’s see...what nicknames can we use that’s specifically to us only..” Neji scrunches his nose, before muttering, “Shika can be...” he trails off before Sasuke cuts him off, “I think Deer is nice.”  Shikamaru glances at him with a raised eyebrow, “Dear?” he asks, the nickname already used. Sasuke chuckles lightly, poking his forehead, “Deer.” he repeats, emphasizing the double e.
Shikamaru lets out a small ‘ah’, his cheeks a pretty pink against his skin. Sasuke hums, kissing his cheek, “my heart.”
Sasuke looks down at Neji before humming, “Angel eyes.” Shikamaru nods along with him, the two of them finding satisfaction in seeing Neji averting his eyes and his fair skin flushing.  “My sun.” Shikamaru says, interlocking their fingers, his thumb going up and down Neji’s wrist. The two of them look at him, their expressions going thoughtful before Neji blurts out, “Eye candy.” making him smack the Hyuuga, “I gave you a genuine nickname.”  “I thought it fits,” Neji retorts, Shikamaru kissing his temple, “My knight.”  Sasuke fights a smile from showing, knowing his cheeks are red, based on the amused glances of the two.
Neji snorts before laughing, “My grumpy one,” which makes him scowl— pout.
Shikamaru groans before murmuring, “Enough with the sappy shit, let’s go sleep.”  Sasuke chortles, his breath coming out in a puff. “I’m not going to drag you to the room,” he reminds the other, seeing Shikamaru already falling half-asleep.
“Sleepy, don’t sleep on us.” Neji teases, poking Shikamaru’s side, the Nara grumbling at being slightly woken up.
Sasuke sighs, before kissing Shikamaru’s temples, Neji moving away from where he’s sprawled on them. “Come on, we’re all exhausted, all I want right now is a shower and a soft bed.”  Neji chuckles, “Yes princess.”  Sasuke stares flatly at him, before carrying Shikamaru on his front, the Nara’s head tucked to his shoulder securely, hugging Shikamaru like a teddy bear. Neji huffs at him, going to the kitchen to eat dinner, the cooked meal still warm.  Neji walks to the doorway, listening to Sasuke who’s humming a tone, both of them fresh from the shower. Shikamaru’s eyes are already drooping with sleep, Sasuke’s head tilting in drowsiness.
“You’re both cute when you’re sleepy like this.” Sasuke lifts a brow at him, half-smiling, “You probably haven’t seen your face when you’re half-asleep.”  Shikamaru mumbles his agreement, rolling over to throw an arm and leg over Sasuke. “That’s unfair, don’t sleep without me.” Neji swats at the sleeping Nara, Sasuke letting out a ‘tch’.  “Hurry up then.” Neji stares at the Uchiha, not breaking eye contact, before he realizes the man is serious. He glares before rushing to the bathroom, his clothes with him.  Sasuke’s charcoal eyes are already lidded when he arrives in the room, grumbling at his two annoying — very adorable and pretty — lovers, pushing them away to create space in the middle.
Sasuke opens an eye at him, grinning, “What’s got your hair in a twist?”  “I demand affection.” he says firmly, reaching behind him for Shikamaru’s arm, and curling underneath it. His hand reaches out to get Sasuke’s, when the Uchiha looks at him boredly.
“Aww, what if I don’t want to?” Sasuke shifts away from him, onyx eyes glinting in the night.  Shikamaru’s sleepy voice rumbles behind his back, “Just sleep you idiots.”
“Mmm, fine.” Sasuke relents, wrapping an arm over him, pulling Shikamaru closer.
Uh, this was really short, and I just wanted the three of them being soft for each other, and agh.

Chapter 6 - Student Council President Sakura
SCPS AO3 | PREVIOUS CHAPTER
“When’s your birthday, Sasuke?” Naruto asked unprompted. He was eating an onigiri in one hand and writing in a notebook with another. “Captain Haru gave me a journal and told me to fill in the dates.”
“Why are you treating it like a slam book?”
“What’s a slam book? Why are you even changing the topic?”
“July 23.”
Naruto went silent for a moment as he jotted down Sasuke’s name. “Oh, last week? During our sleepover?”
“You mean, hostage sleepover.”
“Ah shit. We didn’t get you a present. Sorry, grumpy.” Naruto’s face was sincerely apologetic and Sasuke was on the verge of nonchalantly assuring him that it was all right when he heard his following reply. “But make sure you get me one okay. It will be on October 10.”
“I wish I was allowed to physically harm you right now but your training next week will suffice,” Sasuke jested right back. “I’ll put in a word with Haru to make you suffer.” He would have said more clapbacks if they didn’t hear loud footsteps running their way.
Their two heads popped just a few inches above the bushes that lined behind the fence and saw a disheveled Sakura catching her breath with bent knees and her arms full of folders. Sasuke surmised she might have come from a council meeting.
“It’s Sakura – “ Sasuke covered Naruto’s loud mouth with his palm.
Her phone rang inside her skirt’s pockets, and her expression panicked when she saw the caller id. The folders fumbled out of her grasp when she answered it. “Oh hello, Kakashi-sensei.”
Both the boys’ brows raised in curiosity when her voice went a pitch higher.
“Ah, I’m actually out of the campus right now, Sensei. Got an errand to run. I’ll see you for consultations…..soon?” Then she ended the call. They all heard another set of footsteps nearing their location, and Sakura repeatedly said I’m screwed to herself.
Naruto wrestled out of Sasuke’s headlock and pulled a surprised Sakura inside their hiding place. The latter grumbled but quickly gathered the folders from the ground and followed suit. Three heads now looked over the bushes, and true enough, Kakashi appeared in the clearing with his phone in his hand. “That’s funny. I thought I heard her voice here.”
When they were sure he was out of their sight and earshot, Sasuke signaled a thumbs up, and Naruto, not missing a beat, started with the obvious question. “Why are you hiding from our mathematics teacher?”
Sakura blushed with intensity, her cheeks the color of cherry tomatoes with a ripeness Sasuke liked the most. She flushed so intensely she couldn’t hide it for her sake. The thought of wanting to have that kind of privilege crossed his mind. “Uh, he wanted a report from me, but I wasn’t able to finish it.” Like the self-aware person that she was, she immediately got her bearings and recognized the place. “This is behind the library.”
“It’s Sasuke’s favorite hiding place until I barged in. And now, it’s yours too.” Naruto grinned at her even when he just revealed this place’s existence to their student council president.
“Shouldn’t you be asking me permission first?” Sasuke arranged the folders first before returning them to Sakura who seemed to calm down a bit.
She laughed dryly. “Technically, it’s public property so we don’t need your permission…grumpy.”
Naruto erupted in laughter while Sasuke closed his eyes in annoyance. Two loud-mouths in what was supposed to be in his safe space and yet all he felt was just mild annoyance. Stopping his thoughts before they ran him aground, he rummaged through their storage bin and found an extra sandwich he bought this morning and the last pack of his cherry tomato juice.
He passed the food to her and gave her a little bit of scolding. “At least have your lunch first before making fun of me.”
“You’re really giving her a tomato juice?” Naruto never could hide his disgust for certain food. “Don’t tell me this is your rite of passage.”
Sasuke glared at the blonde, forcing him to shut up. “Bring any more people here, and I’ll tell your captain to drag you to hell.” That wasn’t so difficult, given that Haru has taken a liking to him, for what he didn’t know. He just treated him like a big brother would, like Itachi would.
Sakura took a sip in the middle of their banter, and she emitted a surprised sound. “So this is what it tasted like? It’s actually good.”
That was the first time someone liked what he liked, and he vaguely realized he was waiting for her opinion. With that, he had trouble suppressing the smile that started to form on his face, so he looked away and mustered his focus on the nearby yells of a practicing dragonboat team.
“Oh, I forgot, belated happy birthday Sasuke.”
He strengthened his resolve not to turn his head just as quickly because he was sure the shock was visible in his face. He was so taken aback he didn’t hear Naruto ask Sakura where she learned of it.
“I came across our class records during the meeting and saw the date. Sucks we weren’t able to get you a present. Anyway, I gotta run. I have another presentation to the principal for a personal project.” Sakura finished off her sandwich in one bite and ran out of the secluded space.
Naruto stared after her disappearing figure, the bunched-up juice carton and sandwich wrapper in his hands. “I should make her a decent lunch sometime. I don’t think she’s eating well.”
But Sasuke had another observation in mind. “Why didn’t you ask for her birthday?”
“I know already. I asked Hinata about it.”
--------------------------------
Sakura tried to catch up with the baseball captain in the seniors’ hallways before she would lose him to his after classes dates with Hinata. “Haru, wait up please.”
His brown hair has grown longer to hide his undercut which Naruto wanted to replicate as he often mentioned in between their conversations in classes. It was actually a wonder how the usually demure Hinata gravitated towards Haru who had a strong personality. His annoyed gaze softened when he realized it was her calling him, his smile turning into a wide grin as she raced through the halls.
“No running, Ms. President,” he chided.
Sakura playfully punched his shoulder, her fist’s impact light as she struggled to catch her breath. “Can I at least have some of your time? I promise I won’t take long.”
The captain’s face took on an incredulous look. “How the tables have turned.”
They found themselves on a rooftop, away from the incidental eavesdroppers (if there were any), and moreover they needed some quiet space to talk about important matters. The first of which was the baseball team’s finances.
“I gotta hand this to you rather straightforwardly. The board didn’t foresee your qualification in the preliminaries hence they didn’t allot a big budget for your team – not for training, not for travel expenses, not for uniforms, and miscellaneous expenses.” He towered over her, her height a third short from his shoulders, but when he hunched them forward and leaned against the railings, he was almost shoulder to shoulder with her. “So what are your plans?”
Back in junior high, he would often ruffle her hair out of her immaculate ponytail, and this closeness wasn’t really odd because they were from the same town and grew on the same block. Distance just crept in as they made more friends and entered different circles.
“My personal savings,” Haru simply replied. “Our coach will chip in half of our projected expenses so we’re good to go.”
Sakura sighed. “As always, you don’t like to rely on anyone.”
“We’re not really too far from each other, Sakura. So what’s your plan anyway?” Haru turned with his back this time against the railing.
“Pass-the-Hat.”
Haru nodded. “And your savings.”
Sakura shook her head vehemently. “Hell no.”
“Gears are turning in your head, and I can see you’ll fill in a part with your savings. Stop it, Haruno.”
“I’m telling you, I won’t give you a part of my savings. Anyway – “
“Anyway? There’s more?” Haru hastily looked at his watch to check the time, almost formed a reply, and thought better of it, hiding his wrist from his view.
“I saw your career sheet form. You know you could always try to apply for an athletic scholarship, right?” If she can hazard a guess, Haru may not be planning at all to proceed to college. He always has his father’s fishing business to take over back in their town.
“No association would vet for a player who only qualified for prelims on his senior year.” Haru playfully ruffled her hair, the gesture she thought was once forgotten between them. “So don’t feel sorry for me. I already have Hinata to deal with.”
“You sound so pessimistic when you’re just going away for a year until she decides to follow you. Your story’s almost like a fairytale,” Sakura scoffed.
“First of all, long distance relationships don’t work and second and last of all, there’s her father to think about.” Haru let out a long sigh. “Believe me, Sakura, I want to make it work, but I feel like the distance between us had already set in even before I go.”
--------------------------------
Haru was right. While Pass-the-Hat garnered lots of amounts enough to shoulder the logistics of the training of the baseball team before the semis, there wasn’t enough to pay for their new equipment. She could ask the teachers, but she knew Haru and the coach have already asked for prior favors. At the last minute before the trip got cancelled, Sakura anonymously put in two-thirds of her savings into the donations pool which the captain got wind of and somehow reached Kakashi.
While she was successful in avoiding him for the first few days of the school trip while Naruto and his team was in Fukuoka, he caught her alone as she was reading the markers outside the walls of a castle.
“Haruno Sakura.” His voice startled her. She turned around, like a good student that she was, and waved a bit too enthusiastically. “Mind telling me why you won’t talk to me outside of our council meetings? Did I say any directive that offended you or overworked you? I need to have an open communication with you kids.”
Kids. “Ah, I was just a little busy these past weeks,” Sakura assured him. She nervously fidgeted with his rubber band that was still on her wrist. His eyes followed her movements, and she hid them quickly behind her back, afraid of what he would say if he realized.
“I heard from the principal that he greenlighted your personal project, and that you will be presenting this to the board next week for a possible funding. You accomplished that on top of the feats you pulled to bring the baseball team to the semis.” As Kakashi recounted her accomplishments, she couldn’t help the blush that rose to her cheeks. She was finding it difficult to say an excuse right now. “So I’m returning your personal donation.”
Sakura stared at him directly, never mind the raven irises that drowned her in undivided attention. “What?” He smiled, highlighting even more his mole, and she gasped, breathless at the sight.
“Don’t worry your pretty head over these things. You’re too young for this. I’ll have the funds downloaded to your bank, all right.” Kakashi patted her head softly and disappeared in the meandering crowds.
She slapped the rubber band against the thin skin of her wrist repeatedly. She didn’t know whether she should feel grateful that her savings were back or feel angry that she was patronized because of her age. Didn’t Kakashi know that teenagers grow up faster than their actual age and that she had every right to worry her pretty head? When will he start seeing her as she was?
Her self-deprecating thoughts ran awry when someone took hold of her wrist that has gone red from the slap of the rubber band.
For someone who alternated between being grim-faced or stoic, Sasuke’s hand was gentle and kind. She knew that ever since she saw him in the café, all the good things in him seeping out through cracks in his wall. Right now, she knew he was worried about the supportless baseball team.
“They’re losing, aren’t they?” Sakura suppressed the overwhelming emotions from her earlier interaction with Kakashi and concocted a plan in her head.
She coordinated with the guides and had them add a stop at the baseball field at Fukuoka for one last hurrah for the team.
--------------------------------
Thirty minutes later, their school witnessed how the top teams decimated Naruto’s team. No innings won, batters relentless, and Haru got injured. Sakura, sensing the dampened atmosphere among the student body, rallied yells, earning surprised looks from the team members.
Through the crowds, Sasuke saw Hinata, her fingers twirling the ends of her long braid, and her eyes scanning the place for her boyfriend…until her gaze shifted to Naruto. He traversed the space to stand beside her, breaking his own rule to remain uninvolved in other people’s affairs.
But he owed this to Naruto and Haru who never failed to include him in after practice dinners and effectively kept the gaping depression in his apartment away.
“Your boyfriend has a broken arm, but you’re looking at Naruto.” He said, even before he could announce his presence to her.
Hinata turned her face to him and repeated his words. “My boyfriend has a broken arm but I cannot look at broken limbs for too long. Thanks for pointing that out.”
“There’s a second statement after my but.”
“Hmm, my eyes just probably gravitated to him unknowingly. But it couldn’t be helped, right? He just has this bright, sunshine energy.” Hinata shrugged, seemingly confused by her words as well.
Sasuke wanted to prod more but her eyes narrowed at something behind him. When he glanced back, he saw Sakura stood in tiptoes as she hugged a downtrodden Naruto. If he wasn’t so sad, he would have blushed and awkwardly pushed his crush away, but for this instance, he choked back his sobs and eventually cried on her shoulder.
“Maybe the student council can also support other teams which are gearing up for nationals. You may suffer backlash if favoritism becomes obvious.”
He scoffed at Hinata’s advice. “I’ll tell our student council president that.”
Sasuke made his way to the blonde and pinkette, his arms engulfing both of their heads in a very rare hug. He felt Sakura stiffen beneath him while Naruto changed shoulders and cried openly against Sasuke’s shirt.
This he didn’t mind, as long as both of their faces were hidden from her view.

I don't know if I can ask you this but, well, I'm curious about the warlords ages. What I like about ikemen games is the suitors are not 16 year old babies but older so I feel comfortable playing their games but I'm clueless with the warlords, so I would like to know your opinion or personal headcanons pleaseeee.
Hi, there love! Thanks so much for the request! I found this super interesting, and I was pretty shocked to find out the warlords real ages lolz. Some of them are OLD.
So I used their historical age at 1582, mind you, I'm a lazy portato so I just took the first website I could find so if these are wrong then oooooh well lolz. THB if I look at their real ages Mitsuhide and Kenshin hair colour makes sooo much sense lolz, but I refuse to believe these ages sooo yeah here are my biased opinions of how old they actually are
Headcanon: Warlords real age
Nobunaga
Real age: 48 years 🌏🔥
Age according to me; I would say late 20's early 30's, he gives off a mature vibe but at the same time is quite boyish, my gut tells me this by is 27 lolz
Mitsuhide
Real age: 54 years - Hot damn Mitsu is an ooooold man! Low key explains the silver hair... seems like he truly is a silver fox 🦊
Age according to me; I would say, old man, Mitsu is also in his late 20's, he is super smart and well-read on issues such as politics, economics and history. I would think this cutie is slightly older than Nobungaga so I would put him at about 28
Masamune
Real age: 15 years old-  This explains so much... like why he has that live fast die young, Yolo vibe to him hehe. 🌈🔥😆🐅
Age according to me: Lol young wild and free boi have to be young right, I would guess this boy is around 18- 20 years old.
Hideyoshi
Real age: 45 years - The true Mamabear age 🐻❤
Age according to me: this mama bear is just super mature for his age but younger than our boi Nobu so I would put his age at 25
Ieyasu
Real age: 39 years🦌
Age according to me: Hehehe grumpy boy seems like someone in their early 20. So I'm gonna make him the same age as me, and that would be 23
Mitsunari
Real age: 22 years🌈🔥
Age according to me: He gives off such a young, pure vibe, plus the fact that he doesn't remember to eat or sleep makes me think he is younger than the rest so I would put this cutie at 18 years
Kenshin
Real age: 52 years- Can't believe he is this old... I refuse to believe it... Bunny boi just has to be younger 🐇🐇🙌😭
Age according to me: this beautiful boy is definitely on the older side (Clearly). I would put him near the same as Nobunga soooo let's say 27 years
Shingen
Real age: 61 years - Have to say Shingen looks good for an old man😏😏
Age according to me: hehe Shingen is like the daddy of the group, it was even hinted in Kenshin's route that he is slightly older than we think so I will put him as 31 years
Sasuke
Real age: So Sasuke is fictional, and he said that he was doing his postgrad when he got sucked into the wormhole so considering that and the fact that he went 4 years ahead of you I would put his age between 27-30😏
Age according to me: I am ganna assume Sasuke's degree was 3 years long and that he was busy with his honours studies, so I'm gonna put this boy at 25ish
Yukimura
Real age: 15 years old- again makes sense why he is such a blushy boi with a big mouth 😳
Age according to me: He gives off such a boyish young vibe like Mitsunari, and for Shingen to basically have to raise him I would say Yuki boy is around 20
Kennyo
Real age: 39 year 🍷
Age according to me: Okay so I definitely think this dude is an old fart, I mean why else would you be so serious about revenge unless some young punk did you wrong, so if I had to guess I would say Kennyo is the oldest at the age of 33, old enough to be pissed at Nobunaga for beating him but young enough to be besties with Shingen.
Hope yall enjoyed it! ❤❤🔥

The Odd Pair 16
Warning: So far none, if you find something please let me know.
Shingen pretended to be concentrated on the screen looking at the last trimester reports. He already saw the pattern, now it was a ruse to throw them off guard while still making a mess to smear the reputation of the company. Although he figured out their mode of operation his thoughts still were on Selene, more than fifteen minutes had passed, they should be back by now. Why is it taking them so long to buy snacks? Taking his cell he started sending a text message to Mitsuhide, but he got distracted by Sasuke who showed him another piece of information. Another half an hour passed by when Shingen saw his watch. He was starting to get nervous not knowing why Selene and Mitsuhide weren't back. Perhaps, she might wanted a different change of environment. She was anxious in the morning, but now he was the one sick with worry. Taking his cellphone he was going to call Mitsuhide when the phone started to ring.
“I was about to call you is everything ok?”
“Selene is speaking with a man on the cafeteria. I'm not near since the guy has two guards with him but it looks like she is crying...” that was enough to have Shingen bolt with his jacket on hand on his way to the cafeteria.
Selene was trying not to cry at the mention of Dali. The man had a huge place on her heart. Hearing his name was enough to make her all teary eyed. Taking a deep breath she lower her eyes to the table.
“Pardon, my emotional outburst, but DaDa is a person who had a huge impact on my life. Pardon my manners, is nice to meet you, Mr. Kennyo.” Selene extended her hand to Kennyo.
Kennyo stretched her hand noticing the soft squeeze. Her eyes were shinning with unshed  tears, followed by a soft genuine smile. His instincts were wrong about her. He doubt about her demeanor but Dali always spoke of her with such kindness and respect. The woman who made possible for his mentor to be reborn again. He often used to tell stories about her. Dali even shared a picture of her which is now shared across the globe. His plan was working, he just needed to see how much she could handle before carrying out his duty.
(Forgive me for making this hard on you my girl. But I can't be as trusting as Dali was. More than twenty years went by, that's enough to make an angel renounce their holiness and became a savage demon.) thought Kennyo.  Hiding his reserves regarding Selene, Kennyo continued the conversation normally.
“Is nice to meet you too,Mrs. Crawford.” he nods in acknowledgment.
Selene could feel the man's reserve, although they have a friend in common, that still won't bind them on a bond of friendship.
“Your bodyguard indicated me that you wanted to speak with me. How can I help you?” Selene remained calm although her anxiety decided to start kicking in.
“As I informed you Dali was my mentor, he was a dear person to me. He instructed me to give you this...” a binder containing several documents were laid on the table. Selene started to look at the documents including a testament.
“I don't get what is this?” Selene was confused looking at the documents.
“Dali wanted to leave you secure in case something might happened to you in the future. He named you on his testament, as a last wish...”
“Wait what you mean as a last wish? He is not...” her voice trailed off. Closing her eyes she gave a big gulp to the lump on her throat. Taking deep breaths she kept searching desperately for stability. Once she felt it, she opened her eyes and asked on a weakened tone.
“When his passing happened?” her hands were trembling a bit.
Kennyo reached to console her and notice her hands besides the trembling were also cold.
(No one can fake these reactions.) was his immediate thought.
“It was last year. Since then I had been in charge of the State until I could find you, Miss Crawford.” Kennyo still have some doubts regarding Selene's ,motives to be married with Shingen Takeda. But he wanted her to be the one to tell him. And if he had to play another leak to the press he will do so. The scar on his face was the price he paid for his carelessness. He will not make the same mistake again.
“So, let me get this straight, Dali died last year? What happened? Was he sick? Did he had an accident? Could you please tell me?” her green eyes were shinning again. Another unexpected reaction Kennyo couldn't understand. She was more worried about what happened to Dali than to why he didn't search for her to give her the money. The conversation continued with Kennyo laying trap after another. He was impressed with Selene's naive persona. Either she was a great actress or this was really her? Little by little Selene took each doubt out. Her only concern was to know how was Dali's life on his lasts days. Her compulsiveness to clean made her to collect the papers in order and put them back on the folder. She pushed the folder toward him while hearing the stories Kennyo was telling. Her attention was distracted from him when she saw a man entering the cafeteria.
“Oh, I'm sorry could you please hold that thought one second. My husband is looking for me. I will be right back.” Selene then went looking for Shingen.
Shingen slower his pace as he approached the cafeteria. The place was full. He knew that if he entered in a state of full nerves he will cause concern to the rest of the employees. With great effort he concealed his worries under his perfect charming mask. Once he went out of the elevator he tried to walk as calm as possible. As always dodging the questions, to calm the rest was his way to distract himself from his own worries. The walk to the cafeteria seemed the longest path he had ever done in his life. When he finally arrived he scanned the area trying to locate Selene, instead he found Mitsuhide approaching him.
“Where is she?” Shingen hissed while maintaining his poker face.
“Wow, grumpy aren't you?” was Mitsuhide's chuckle.
Shingen glared at Mitsuhide ready to rebuke his tease when he saw Selene approaching him. Relief filled him seeing her looking at him with a kind smile.
“Hey, sorry for taking so long, but I was talking with a friend of Dali, he,...” when Selene was turning to show Shingen where Kennyo was, he was already gone.
“Mitsuhide saw you crying are you alright?” Shingen tone was low but enough for Selene to catch the edge of his statement. He was angry in a way she never had seen him before. Taking her hand, he began walking out of the cafeteria dragging Selene with him. Selene was almost running trying to keep up with Shingen who was by now walking in long strides looking for an empty office.
“Takeda, slow down please, what is wrong?” Shingen ignored her until he found an empty office. Closing the door behind them he cornered Selene, feeling scary of this side of Shingen. Selene tried to back up but soon she was against the wall.
“Shingen?” she never knew when his hands got her, suddenly he started kissing almost desperately. His kiss was needy, but also demanding, like a soldier in a mission to conquer as much he could. Selene felt her knees weak, looking for something to hold she lean against Shingen who hold her by the waist with both arms. They continued kissing until they had to break to gasp for air. Shingen leaned against the wall sliding down with Selene on his arms. She ended up in between his legs with their foreheads touching.
“You will be the end of me.” Selene still gasping for air saw he was looking at the floor with a hint of rose on his cheeks. Finding this adorable, Selene hug him letting his head rest on her shoulder while rubbing his back.
“I'm sorry if I worried you. Are you ok?” if looks could kill she would had been dead. Shingen glared at Selene, she threw her hands up trying not to laugh.
“This is not a joke I was worried about you. Mitsuhide called telling me you were crying. I,... wanted to run, but at the same time...”Shingen turned his face away loss at words.
“Shin...”Selene turn slowly his face to her. “I'm ok, Mitsuhide was there I was safe. I just caught up with the news about Dali. I had lost two of the most important people of my life. I'm afraid to loose you too.”
There was a small silence between them that went broken by a knock on the door.
“Shingen, Selene we need to go back to the office are you guys there?” it was Yukimura checking on them.
“We will go out in a minute Yuki.” was Selene's only response.
Taking Selene's face in his hands Shingen made her look directly at his eyes. “I'm not going anywhere, I'm not leaving unless you want me to go.” Selene's sigh was slow and painful.
“Thanks.” her voice was soft. She didn't know what to say. Shingen on the other hand was a bit terrified on how he lost his composure due to her being in danger. Right now was not the time to bear his soul to her. Again they touched foreheads together, closing their eyes and taking in the essence of each other. Then another impatient knock was the sign for them that time was up.
The conference room was ordered with a large elongated table. The minimal decoration was done with a purpose, to prevent distractions. A painting of a road full of cherry blossoms trees, while the other side the seal of the Takeda Corporation. Were the only wall decoration adding a simple elegant touch without being dull.  The board of directives were already seated. Nolan took the chair at the head of one of the tables waiting for Shingen and his entourage. The sound of the door opening made the room silent while the group of people with Shingen and Selene on his side holding her hand on his forearm entered. On his left side Yukimura, Sasuke and Kenshin who arrived later that morning, while on Selene's side was Nobunaga and Mitsuhide. The group entering the room was impressive, tailored suits with impeccable taste. It was like a magazine was brought to life. Yuki   arrived with a dark brown suit, with white shirt and red tie. Sasuke with a dark green olive suit, with a cream shirt and dark grey tie. Kenshin was an eccentric on his own. Wearing a combination of blue trousers with black jacket and white shirt without a tie. Nobunaga always with his favorite black suit, white shirt and red tie, while Mitsuhide always challenging with his white suit with a purple shirt. Each men transmitting power and presence individually. As a group their aura was almost intimidating. The members of the board suddenly felt at loss of words with the impressive arrival of the group.
Shingen gallantly made sure Selene got to her seat. Her left hand was holding his right arm. Her anxiety was spiking, but when she felt Shingen's hand on hers a warmth started to fill her. Shingen turned to Selene giving her a loving smile. She noticed it was a genuine smile, one with a hint of mischief on his eyes.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, I'm glad to see we are almost all gathered here.” Nolan's smile was sly.
Selene felt the a shiver go down her spine. A feeling that at the pit of her stomach indicating that something was going to happen. An event that will make things take a turn for the bad.
“Before we begin this meeting I want to introduce you a potential new member of “our” company I mean this man, has been a great ally with our cause to make Takeda, a great company again. Please allow me to introduce you...” Nolan's affection for drama was nauseous.
Everyone turned around to see Kennyo walking into the conference room. “Kennyo.”
Selene couldn't hide her surprise, but also her disappointment to see Kennyo walking toward Nolan. She felt a shiver on her body which made her look at Shingen. His face was calmed perfect mask, his eyes were in turmoil. Selene slide her hand on his giving him a gentle squeeze. The action seemed to get him out of his stupor, lowering his gaze toward her eyes. Shingen saw the loving affection she was looking at him, making Shingen smiled softly. She was reminding him that he was not alone. Not by a long shot, he worked his life to make the company where it was today. With a cunning smile, Shingen looked at everyone inside the room.
“If that is all Alex, I think we should start now. I want to finish this before dinner. I have a date with my lovely wife.” his smile turning into a grin Shingen prepared to give the battle of his life.
