your attention should’ve been sealed at the projected slides once the professor started the countdown on his infamous ‘how-long-can-i-yap-before-my-students-fall-asleep’ course, but holy smokes—even breathing seemed like a major task when you could barely peel your thoughts off the boy sitting a few rows in front of you.

hyunjin has always been the main attention-grabber wherever he went—and that includes yours.

it’s not like you denying it either. he is gorgeous, and even the heavens know you couldn’t help but glance in his direction whenever he’s in the room. hell, even a few of your initial sketches for last semester’s projects were inspired by hyunjin. it’s as if he had slowly solidified his spot as your muse—but what is this odd feeling gently fluttering between the rows of your ribcage?

a buzz from the pocket of your pants startled you out of your trance, and while you thanked the gods for sending you down here with a habit of putting your phone on constant silent, you peeked at the notification patiently perched on the screen of your phone—one nearly causing you a minor heart attack on the spot.

the way your head snapped to find hyunjin’s playful yet determined gaze headed straight at you was not something you would’ve ever thought to add to your bingo board.

your eyes nearly doubled in size when you returned your line of sight in hyunjin’s direction, only to see the slow, comical way the long-haired guy is raising his hand while keeping his eyes on you, lips tipped up into a masked grin.

“yes, mr. hwang?”

you scrambled on your phone while mr. kang—as well as the rest of the attendees of the class, fixed their eyes on hyunjin, quietly wondering what would come out of those lips of his.

“oh, i’m just wondering if—"

And you swore you could see the way his lips turned into a victorious grin through the back of his head.

“if?” mr. kang repeated, seemingly a little impatient at hyunjin’s antics. to be fair, you actually felt the same way.

“if you have any movie or documentaries related to the topics you will be teaching this semester,” hyunjin’s voice rang loud and clear—as if the question had been his initial motive all along, and you’re simply a victim of his little magic trick.

“personally i do learn better through those mediums, mr. kang,” hyunjin perfected his question, smile as innocent as a puppy, and as he looked around the hall, scanning the dozens of nodding heads to his statement,

hyunjin made sure to lock eyes with you for a second longer.

“and i think my friends agree with me.”

“you’re an ass,” you hissed as soon as you secured the seat next to hyunjin, shooting daggers out of your eyes while the latter chuckled. given, hyunjin’s question did made your move less suspicious since mr. kang actually took a liking to the idea and decided to substitute one of the assignments into this movie presentation group project, but still—you were so close to losing your dignity in front of dozens of your peers, on the first day of the new semester.

“would’ve been easier had you listened the first time,” he playfully retorted, remnants of victory still glimmered in his eyes, “and now you know i’m a man of my words. win-win situation for both of us.”

“as if,” you groaned in annoyance despite failing to even make a dent to hyunjin’s victorious grin. “you are the only one benefiting from this, mr. hwang. i’m merely a victim in this scheme of yours.”

“ouch—mr. hwang? really now?” hyunjin placed a hand over his heart, pretending as if he has been shot despite the wicked smile plastered across his face, “do you really want to hurt me like that?”

if you were to be honest, you do enjoy your playful bickers with hyunjin. it made him less of a muse and more of a… human. a regular college boy, who just so happened to be blessed by the goddess of beauty herself and sent here with an exceptional heart of gold.

“seemed fair enough,” instead, you replied with a mischievous grin while greeting a couple of hyunjin’s friends joining your little group.

“1-1, mr. hwang.”

the massive numbers displayed on your phone screen further validates the exhaustion you felt looming over your shoulders. it’s only the first week of the new semester and you’re already held up on campus way past your classes—how are you supposed to survive the rest of the school year?

to be fair, you really do love what you’re studying right now. it’s what you’ve always wanted to be since you were a child, and to be able to live out your inner child’s dream is one of your prides—but god, it did not make things easier to actually do.

just as you slipped your screen away, sparing yourself from a bunch of exhausting thoughts as your footsteps led you to your bus stop, a pack of gummy bear suddenly popped out of thin air in front of your eyes, causing you to stumble backwards onto the—

warm surface?

“i’m not a gummy sharing type of person, but i think you need this more than i do.”

pushing yourself off the other’s figure, you didn’t need to turn around to figure out the person’s identity—but you did anyway.

“gee, thanks mr. hwang,” you playfully snickered, snatching the bag of gummy and popped one unfortunate strawberry flavored bear in your mouth, “didn’t know you’re so kind.”

over the past week, you found out that you surprisingly have quite a lot of classes together with hyunjin and a few of his friends. you’re thankful he dropped the ‘i saved you a seat’ act by the third class you shared and let you actually sit amongst your friends, but in ways you don’t even understand, you somehow kept getting sorted in the same groups as hyunjin. well, at least now you no longer freeze up while hyunjin’s around.

“oh, can you drop that already,” hyunjin groaned, lips pursing into a subtle pout, “the others are starting to call me mr. hwang too thanks to you, you know.”

you couldn’t help but let a chuckle slip past your lips to hyunjin’s protest, already with a picture in your head about the whining he would’ve done once his closest friends started to pick up hyunjin’s objection to the nickname and used the name against him. how adorable he would’ve—

hyunjin’s supposed to be simply your muse—maybe a friend at best! you don’t call your friends adorable, do you?

“you started it!” shaking your head in an attempt to rid the word from the nooks and crannies of your brain, you instead defended yourself while offering hyunjin the pack of gummies at the same time.

“what do you mean i started it!” hyunjin groaned, still popping a gummy in his mouth in the process, “i was just simply requesting your presence at the spot I have reserved for you!”

“and threatened to embarrass me if i didn’t move!” you deflected, playfully glaring at the latter. “don’t you dare omit that part, you sneaky weasel! i thought I was going to have to drop the class due to embarrassment!”

the crease between hyunjin’s brows grew thicker when he realized he couldn’t counter your protest, resulting in another pout to form on his lips, now clearer than before. it made you feel a little guilty—did you go a little too far? was he offended by the—

“i just wanted to get closer to you.”

…wait.

wait—what?

“i know it’s a lame excuse,” hyunjin’s groans turn muffled as he hid his face behind the palms of his hands, “it’s just—i don’t know, i find you fun? i know we just started talking after that group project but i like talking about stuff with you and even after the group project ended i just kept finding myself wanting to talk to you? i just—”

“whoa whoa—slow down!” you instinctively grabbed hyunjin’s shoulders; not too hard to shake him off, just enough to gently ground him back from his rambles. “breathe, you don’t need to explain anything to me, hyunjin. just breathe.”

well, frankly you do need an explanation—just… not from this adorably frantic hyunjin.

hyunjin’s face was nearly the shade of the gummy bear packet you still had on your hand, and as much as you didn’t want to embarrass him more than he’s already feeling, your lips seemed to have their own plans when they curled up into a grin.

“don’t even say anything,” he warned, fingers now pointing at the rapidly growing grin on your face. “just don’t.”

you would honestly love to comply to hyunjin’s wishes, really—after all, you’re the type to honor and respect your friend’s wishes…

but is he just a friend?

“I’m not!” you stated, but despite throwing your hands up in a sign of defeat, hyunjin knew better when he noticed the constant degree of smile etched across your face,

“I just never would have thought that the campus crush,” you emphasized, trails of laughter already slipping past your lips in harmony to hyunjin’s exasperated sigh, “the mr. hwang hyunjin himself, is quite clumsy at making new friends.”

hyunjin was genuinely dumbfounded at your accusation.

“no i’m not!” he protested, subconsciously following your footstep as you got ready to catch your nearing bus, “it’s not that i’m bad at making friends, i just—”

hyunjin’s explanation were cut short when your bus finally arrived, prompting another frown to appear on his face when you hopped on without sparing him another glance. dejected, hyunjin turned around and—

“hyunjin!”

the speed at how quickly hyunjin turned on his heels at your voice nearly made you giggle. from one of the opened windows from the back of the bus, you locked eyes with hyunjin and smiled.

“text me your excuses and we’ll see if you’re actually good at making friends!” you shouted as the bus began to drove away, only allowing you to witness a faint ‘okay!’ along with an excited wave before hyunjin disappeared behind the curve of the crossroad.

well, maybe hyunjin is adorable after all.

I believe our reasons for liking Kralsei are just VERY similar, symbolism, meaning and Ralsei as well!! And that's why I always identified so much with your analysis about them! You basically write everything I would like to say of them in your texts, haha!!

Kralsei, to me, it's about how the narrative is trying to tell implicitly that Kris and Ralsei's relationship will be about a journey of understanding your identity, understanding yourself, belonging...

Kris and Ralsei have very similar problems at the moment: lack of identity. You see that everything Kris and Ralsei do will always be on Asriel's shadow. Everything Kris had before he left was always because of Asriel and how he was a kind of guide for them. Ralsei clearly has references to Asriel, (and Flowey) the kindness, prince thing and etc. But YET, he still doesn't know what it's like to be Ralsei: he doesn't know what it's to be HIM. And honestly, from there you start to think that there is something much deeper to Ralsei than just being an Asriel from a different universe.

This video talked about a little theory: how Ralsei is there to make Kris find their own identity, I highly recommend watching it! And that's where I wanted to start my point about: Ralsei is here to help Kris, to serve his lightner. But on the other hand, Ralsei also needs to be rescued, he also NEEDS his identify, without living in someone else's shadow, if he will help Kris to be themself, will Kris be grateful enough to do the same for the Darkner who helped them?...

I honestly got to think that maybe this is one of the connections of their names? The Undertale Frisk/Kris Ralsei/Asriel connection?? Where Frisk had to save one last person and it was Asriel????/Hj

This idea of Ralsei and Kris being an allusion to "find yourself" or even "self-love"... It's beautiful to me. Not wanting to go into too much detail, but since 2023, I feel like I've been having symptoms similar to identity crises, very focused on who I am, what I should be and how I should act with everything in general, learning that this is an aspect of Ralsei made me find comfort in him, and Kris as well. The supposed meaning of their relationship comforts me and makes me want to see lots of arts, fics, anything good related to them. I hope one day they develop and we have lovely scenes of them doing arts and crafts, hanging out in Hometown and having fun at school!!!!

I can't forget to mention that the thing about light and dark symbolism!! Both need each other.

If we have the few implications of love between the two in the game, I hope Toby will lead this nicely, in a good developed way. In case of becoming an endgame, could be a good one for the end of Deltarune! And then we will have another important canon couple like Undyne and Alphys and the royal guards muahahaha

1... craig and clyde make a trading ring where they collect and display a variety of shit from the other kids at school, mostly trading cards, action figures, beyblades, and hotwheels. Meanwhile Wendy and Bebe have been competing with chalk art around town, seeing who has the best drawing. It keeps ending in a draw mostly because they keep deeming everyone as a biased party. They're kind of angry at each other but pretending nothing is happening then they get home from school to watch a million tutorials.

Anyway, the day of the big trading event Craig and Clyde get there with their big wagon of random shit and the girls are there and they argue over who gets to use the blacktop for a while but eventually come to the agreement that the girls will draw over it and then they will use it as their venue and let the traders vote :3

Marj is a dancer, Kenny's a photographer, Stan's a poet, and Eric is a film dude. Kyle is somewhere else studying something else that is completely relevant. HOWEVER! I'd need help writing poems so if anyone could write epic sauce poems we could like fr write stenny together... heh.... 👅

the game begins introducing itself as a regular otome school life sim (my condolences to the fans who fell for william first sight only to find out hes not an actual love interest trust me i see u i feel u) but then WHAM BAM!! just when u thougut ur girl best friend was lookin kinda cute she gets X_x in this summon circle and you jump in to save her only to find out youre now in a royal cage surrounded by people that needa sacrifice you to save themselves from their own doom. oh and youre not in your own world anumore good luck have fun

so now here goes the different plots and paths with the love interests. the way i playrd it was as they introduced it, which was ayn aklaid lars claerence. no cael route yet which rips me apart every night. the love interests seem to have consistent values throughout most universes despite all of their diferet upbringings which i find pretty cool considering schoollife and royaltylife are two completely drastic diferent things, and also i nejoy how mc is written with more character and an amazing design to match the rest of the beautifully drawn cast

on that topic the art is GORGEOUS. i have never seen such beautiful detailed art in a game before and i assure you it will not disappoijnt. the graphics and smoothness of the game are especially a great touch. Are you named after anyone? Not entirely. I'm trans so my dead name was after Susan Ivanova from Babylon 5 because my parents are major nerds. But my chosen middle name Willow-Ivan is from my home (there's a huge willow tree) and my great great grandfather Ivan. And my nickname which is Mallow is also technically after something which is the mallow plant or blue pea flower but also marshmallow because I am big and squishy like a marshmallow and my friend thought that was cute so I ended up using that for a while.

When was the last time you cried? Pff baby I'm a big crier I don't keep track of it anymore but I've defo been crying less as of late

Do you have kids? No I'm too young and I'd rather DIE but I'm very good with children, they're very sweet most of the time. I want to be a tutor or smth someday. Help kids. Never want any of my own.

What sports do you play/have you played? I've played soccer, volleyball, figure skating, lacrosse, and archery. Lacrosse is a very popular sport where I'm from and I still have a lacrosse stick and I wish I could play it more but I don't know anyone who plays it and I don't think that there's any teams in my area. I really want to get back into figure skating and archery because they were really fun and I still really love them.

What's the first thing you notice about people? I typically notice their height, then outfit, followed by their hair, eyes and face. People are very easily identifiable that way. & the moment they open their mouths I can typically pick out their voice if I've heard it before.

When was the last time you cried? I think it was when my mom died. I don't cry very easily, wish I could more often.

Do you have kids? No, and I probably won't ever have any. Too many debilitating things for them to likely inherit. (Wow these answers are off to a great start huh! Keeping a nice light tone here.)

What sports do you play/have you played? I tend to prefer solitary exercise. I do run a lot and love what that does for my mental health and mood.

Do you use sarcasm? Yeah I do, sarcasm might almost be my default tone but I try to never be mean-spirited about it.

I'm just (kind of/definitely) projecting on this one because my dad's a smoker, he's been one since like forever and he never hid it from me as a kid 🤷🏽‍♂️ (Similar to how Joyce is)

but also Will being the kid to pick up smoking (or any other substance) just makes the most sense

Like 1. it's the 80s, 2. His family has a history of substance abuse, even new members like Hopper 3. Will turning to an unhealthy way to cope isn't outlandish and 4. most importantly Will's an art kid... so it's basically a requirement for him to smoke /hj

Cigarette Related Headcanons (?)

Will actually likes the smell of cigarette smoke and he actually finds comfort in it because he associate it with his mom

Will learned this when he wore one of his mom's sweaters and kept sniffing at the sleeves while at school (Mike and Lucas definitely noticed but didn't say anything)

William Byers would steal one (or more) of his mom's cigarettes at a time as a kid

I don't mean stealing the half lit cigs in the ashtray, I'm talking about taking single cigarettes out of the boxes (never more than one when there was a large/noticable gap or less than five)

He'd save them and only halfway smoke them when he knew he was absolutely alone

He would always panic about his mom accidentally finding where he hid them and because of that had a few amount of them break apart in his pocket (at separate times) because he didn't hide them in time and someone was around

The first time he bought his own packs he was panicking and circled around the gas station aisles atleast three times

Because he was underage at the time he bought three packs at once as like a precaution

Going along with first, the first time that Will actually smoked a cigarette fully the smoke ended up going into his nose and like eyes (ifykyk)

He also made sure to clear his throat like five times because of how it left him sounding

He tries to be sneaky about the smoking because he just doesn't want other to ask him about it

It's one of many reasons you'll never catch him smoking in his room like he did as a kid

This one is kinda gross but Will has a very, minute, slight case of like "Smoker gums"

The top of his gums being like a brownish color in a certain area is only noticable if he flips/lifts up his lip (it's nothing serious and doesn't have any real affect on his teeth or mouth but it is caused by the smoke)

(looking up examples won't show what I mean because it only show you serious cases that affect the teeth and other stuff)

Bonus:

Will seem like he wouldn't like the taste of alcohol but he's be the first to suggest to and drink it when combined with anything else even if it only alters the taste lightly

Like idk I can him shoving candy into his mouth and basically useing it as a filter atleast once

I ended up joining Servamp fandom here on tumblr about... Four years ago now? In 2018, right after moving to a different state and leaving everything I knew behind. I found the anime by complete chance while browsing the Josei tag, and now... Here I am!!

i'm sorry in advance if this makes you do more worldbuilding stuff (/hj) but: "Tell me something about Rhea's parents"?

It actually does not force me to do more world-building because I already know a lot about them!

Rhea's parents are both still alive currently. Her father was the police chief before her and was known to be an actually, like, good one. Deceit saved his life early on in his career which changed his perspective on a lot of things like putting all people into categories and dealing with them based on that. There was a lot of police reform under him and he almost helped prep the city for Bluebird's debut in a way. I don't know if Logan would have worked with police as much as he did from the beginning if they sucked like they had a decade before. Which would have made things a lot more difficult.

Rhea's mother is still a middle school teacher. She teaches art and woodworking, though she is probably going to retire pretty soon. She's also a bit of a handyperson on the side, though sometimes her 'fixes' aren't the best. She's one of those people who is like 'I can fix it!' and her family is like 'Can we please call a plumber?' and she's like 'No! I'll fix it!' She does eventually fix it, but was it worth it? Was it??

A super good student and it's friendly with everyone, even with the people that mock him

Gives personal classes to some students that need helps

Even if he's friendly with everyone, he's usually always alone and that makes him sad

Has a part-time job at a 7/11 so he can save up for the things he likes

Recently a guy that he gives math classes to, named Yunho, invited him to his house to play video games with him and another friend. Seonghwa felt really happy after that.

Favorite Class: Math and physics

Hongjoong

The artistic and kinda rebellious student

He costumized his uniform and even after a lot of reports he keeps wearing them

Stopped skipping classes cause his mom asked for it, he's really smart, but he gets bored easily in class

Sits next to the windows so he can look outside and get lost in his imagination

In the rest periods he works in his music and lyrics

He defends people from the bullies, causing him to get into trouble often, added to that he gets mocked too because of his short height.

Favorite Class: Art and Music.  

Yunho

The artistic and good student

Unlike Hongjoong, Yunho is a really good student, he's very respectful and diligent with his work

His only weakness is in math, so he takes the tutorships that Hwa gives, he invited him to play video games after that

He's in the chorus of the school, but also takes singing lessons after school.  

Has a YouTube Channel where he post his songs and covers, sometimes his friend Jongho sings with him

Thinking about taking an audition for a group, but it's not so secure about it

Favorite Class: Music and Literature

Yeosang

The weird but funny student

Always tries new things and shows it to his friends, like that time he made the gummy beat cult/concert meme or when he shows the others his collection of drones that he's very proud of

Always participate in class and corrects the teacher when it's needed

He's best friends with Wooyoung, but suddenly they stopped seeing each other a lot, he feels sad because of it, but doesn't tell anything to Woo cause he knows he's doing things he likes  

Found a new friend named Seonghwa after a video game afternoon with him and Yunho

Now he works in the 7/11 with Hwa and have fun with him doing "experiments" with no one is around

The lost but kind student

The kind of student that will ask the person next to him something about the class when he doesn't understand

Everyone thinks he's a bad guy because of his features, but in reality it's a cute and soft guy

He's lowkey popular around girls because of his bad boy appearance

He loves the people that brings millions of colors and different types of post-it, always goes near them and ask them if they can take a look at those things

He's always lost with the things and tends to need someone that reminds him that there is a test or homework

He's in dance classes and when it's class day he's the happiest

The popular and athlete student

Not so much a good student, so he takes tutorships with Seonghwa

It's in the same basketball team as Wooyoung and it's one of the most valuable players

Used to get into fights a lot until he met Hongjoong, after that he found a way to drain his anger in music

Now he follows Hongjoong everywhere he goes, inside he sees HJ as someone that understand him and feels somehow better and secure by his side

Thinking a lot in his future and it's kind scare because of it

Wooyoung

The flirty and good looking student

He always wears his tie loose and his shirt a little bit open

He's in the sport club in the basketball team

Doesn't play with girls, but always give pickup lines to them

He's best friend with Yeosang, no one can understand how they're friends because they're really different from each other, one is wild and free and the other is reserved and calm, but they love each other very much

It's in dance classes, decide to try them when, after his basketball practice, he found  San outside of the building all sweaty and smiley, San convinced him to try them out and after the first one he didn't miss any

Jongho

The athlete, foodie and artistic student

The student that makes 100000 things and you don't know when he has time to study or to make all those things

He's in the football team and it's one of the strongest, so nobody mess with him

Works in a cafe and gets scolded when he eats some of the food, but because he's such a cute and good worker the boss let it pass and let him keep some of the things that didn't sell when they close

Takes singing lessons with Yunho and it's one of the favorite students

Sleeps in some classes because of how tired he is, but loves to do all those things so he doesn't quit to any of them

I just woke up from a dream where me and a friend were working on a fanfiction on Tumblr and I had a weird ass extension installed also me being in Minecraft but really weird while I retype every word with an f in it because my f key is half jammed again. I'm gonna copy and paste this onto a Google Doc so I can tell my friends in first period about this cause they were in my dream.

This extension I got it mid dream where three translucent Skids would be laying on the bottom right side on the screen while the entire Tumblr background was a white screen with FNF chibis slapped all over it and a weird looking Celestia was on the left side of a post and some weird orb with black wings was on the other side. Apparently Celestia isn't allowed to cross to the other side of the post but she did so the entire UI just exploded or something but there was a cutscene where you could see her on a realistic horse in 3d with two other horses, one in the foreground, one barely visible in the background. And then they would explode and a few seconds later Celestia too and then the page disintegrated. Reloading the page would return everything back to normal. In the other dream though I could just have an FNF shimeji open on the system and it would do that. And only an FNF Shimeji. Same story with Celestia and the thing.

Anyways apparently there was a Tumblr update where you and someone else can type on another post and would get updated in real time even if you're not editing the post and edit images on Tumblr while posting it. Bro the fanfiction was something about Senpai and Boyfriend and the first fucking line was about them accidentally kissing and my friend wrote that I'm sobbing lmfao. 'They accidentally kissed and got together lived in a cottage together or something and something something I don't remember but something about Girlfriend and Pico who was fine with everything' I have no idea. Seriously the only line I remember clear as daylight was the first sentence. "As they passed an intersection, Senpai and Boyfriend collided with each other, not watching where they were going." The second part was like them looking up as they collided as my friend wrote and accidentally kissing. AUGHGHUHUHDUG I HATED TYPING THAT. The funniest part was I was only editing what my friend wrote and giving ideas, I wrote none of the original. She wrote ALL of it and she doesn't even like the ship and I didn't make her do it. My other two friends were putting in ideas but I was the only one who likes the ship irl. Also we can't access Tumblr at school so how tf- Btw this was in school we were in my Language Arts class which none of my friends in this dream are in but the group working behind us was and they were actually straight up working on a fanfic on Wattpad. They forgot to save their progress and was yelling at each other about it. What if I try to rewrite the story from memory /j Or am I- Okay /hj AND THE FANFICTION WAS FOR AN ASSIGNMENT.

Holy lord the dream before this was when I was in Minecraft, I could shoot a very far distance which was ridiculous also there were guns in Minecraft now, no mods, this is the original. And if you flapped your arms you would be able to fly but it only worked about half the time great way to escape enemies on the overworld though none of them could climb jump or fly. And that pink schoolhouse was back (Weird ass dating sim dream happened there sometime last year, had a smooth transition from that to another dream). Anyways there were these 10 by 10 hills everywhere but the height was really stretched out, there were barely any trees cause it was snowing, any trees looked like they were in summer, there were pigs with crowns and those red capes with fluffy white trim and black dots on the trim, those that royals would wear. Anyways the pig could attack and deal half heart damage and if you fly it would follow you. You also can't jump you have to fly. Arms can actually get sore after a while. THE PIG WAS THE ONLY HOSTILE ENEMY I SHOT A SPIDER AND IT DIDN'T DO SHIT ABOUT IT. Bow was the only working weapon so guns were useless. Could shoot as far as the eye could see and if you aim directly at the target, it wouldn't get pulled down by gravity the arrow would make a beeline for the area you shot at. Also you were the only thing that wasn't blocks besides the pig which had curved edges. Other than that area with the pigs the terrain looked the same as the one I had after the pink schoolhouse dream but covered in snow (b o y I have no idea how to explain that one) and it was strange. Also multiplayer was available but you couldn't find anyone the world was too big and everyone spawned in different areas and the teleport command didn't work there was no way to find another person without looking across the entire map. And the nether. You could spawn in the nether now. Start a game and you can find yourself in there. Good luck with that. Someone was talking to me like the were next to me but idk who and I think we were able to meet up at some point before she ran away also maps didn't exist and neither did creative mode so good luck-
