Thought I'd share a project I've been working on. Watching all of the Game Of Thrones and Lord of The Ring shows lately have me totally inspired to try a new craft. I'm teaching myself how to make chain mail and scale mail. This is a set of shoulder pauldrons that I'm making. I learned the European 4-in-1 to make the chain. I'm not sure what I'll add to the front yet but I'm having so much fun! I know this is different than my calligraphy and painting but it IS a fundamental part of my survival as an artist. I simply must experiment with new mediums regularly to stay out of any creative funk.
