UPDATE ON SOUTH CAROLINA FLOODING
It's absolutely terrifying in the Columbia. Charleston was hit before us. Roads have washed away and 100's of thousands of homes have been devastated. Both of my places of work shut down and we are all under a state wide curfew. All major interstates have been shut down. Anything crossing water has been shut down. Many of my friends are homeless. Stay safe out there.

Free Childcare For Fire, Police, EMS, etc. Tuesday 10/6/2015
Free Childcare for UNIFORMED RESPONDERS on Tuesday: The Karate Dojo and ‘Kicking Kids After-School Karate Kamp’ will open tomorrow – October 6, 2015 at 7:30am with full staff available to help our community at NO CHARGE.
Parents of youth currently enrolled at The Karate Dojo and / or the ‘Kicking Kids After-School Karate Kamp’ as well as any local law enforcement & first responders (in uniform) not currently enrolled at The Karate Dojo may drop their children off as early as 7:30am at NO CHARGE. We will be serving Pizza for lunch at NO CHARGE. Thank you to all law enforcement and first responders for all you are doing to keep our community safe.
We should all use this time to come together and offer help and assistance – whether financial, emotional, or simply displaying an act of kindness towards another human being in our path over the next few days.
We have several different fun activities as well as Karate and fitness classes planned for Tuesday!! Our operating hours are 7:30am - 6:30pm. Relax and have peace of mind as you leave your child with the staff of The Karate Dojo to enjoy their day off from school while you go to work!
Please email us at [email protected] if you would like your child included on the list to attend on Tuesday – October 6, 2015. We have space for anyone and everyone in need!!!
Please continue to keep our neighbors, first responders, and all law enforcement in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days…

Please guys
Those of you in and around the Columbia area, don't move or drive around police barricades. I know you want to get from place to place like you usually do, but roads are still caving in all over town because water has eroded the ground underneath the streets. So please find an alternative route to get to your destination. Stay safe!
