    Goodbyes were difficult but they weren’t final. She makes it brief for that very reason, kisses her mother’s cheek as she whispers comforting words into her ear. Whatever lay beyond Midgar’s gates, she was prepared to face it, but she knows she wont be alone in this endeavour. She’d unknowingly grasped his hand tightly after taking her first steps, some apprehension gripping her heart, but the desire to see things with her own eyes overcame that fear in an instant. She’d always had ideas of what things would be like, though certainly not naive in her thinking, however she hadn’t anticipated how tiring it would all be. Although she’s more than capable of looking after herself, by no means was she athletic nor used to travelling such large distances. Yet she takes it all in her stride, but she does complain a little every so often.

   However there isn’t a single complaint heard when the salty air hits her senses and it pushes her hair back wildly. Junon itself was pretty impressive, although it’s heavy military influences were something undesired, but once out at sea she forgets all that. She leans over the side of the large vessel, perhaps a little too far, catching the waves in the palm of her hand.

    “Look you can see the beach from here,” pointing to the shore, almost expecting the same enthusiasm from him, forgetting he’s seen it all before. “The ocean is so...vast, how far does it even stretch,” far beyond the horizon and to lands likely unknown to most. “Makes me feel pretty small in comparison,” a small introspective moment before the excitement in her eyes returns. “Are we there yet?” Tugging on his arm in a childish manner, clearly impatient and eager to reach the beach.

                      Wow, it felt like forever since he even been here as himself. He can only vaguely remember from inside of Sora, through his eyes. But now, he hoped he could see Herc & Zack, as well as Phil, of course. But he spotted a guy that looked vaguely like one of his friends. Blinking a bit in confusion, he stared for just a moment. Curiosity in his eyes as he wondered if they were going to even remember him.... He hoped so, for he remembered them during the years in his comatose state. He still looked the same, unfortunately, his body never getting the nutrients and strength to age normally. But Herc & Zack could have completely changed for all he knew.

                                       “Excuse me, do you know where I can find Zack & Hercules? Or either of them? I’m a friend of there’s.”

A woman with long, cascading black hair and gray eyes made her way out of the foliage. She sported a dark black skin tight body suit, which hid most of her figure, her arms being snowy ehite from her gloves. A soft smile was on her face, as she slowly walked over to the bench, although she halted when she saw the little cat sunbathing.

The woman trilled her tongue at the tiny creature, and it responded with a happy mewl. The cat walked over to where she sat, and began rubbing against her legs. The woman bent down and easily picked up the cat, before she began stroking its sleek black fur until hearing a shift behind her.

“My my. I have a friend? Come on out little one”

[🌟]     Oh no! He didn’t know the truth yet. Was Vivi the first to have been informed? “Santa” was completely undeniably diabolical in his plans. His disguise had obviously tricked far too many. This little one knew better. “B-But Mister Zack don’t you know? Santa is...Santa is Satan! I heard it! It’s the truth!”

    He was bouncing from side to side in an anxious matter. This whole great “Santa” ordeal had him so wound up. The little mage even kept peeking over his shoulder as if he was being watched.

    “We have to protect ourselves before it’s too late!”

   “You... you saved meeeee!!!” At that very moment, Kai didn’t know whether to feel relieved or embarrassed over what had just happened. She could have easily gotten herself out of that situation, if she had just been more careful! Eurgh... she didn’t even dare to look her saviour in the eyes then, hands shakily raising up to cover her flustered face instead as she gave the tiniest, tiniest: “... thank you.”

She was silent during the entire moment.
