I have never drawn A's hair, but it gets longer and longer every time I picture it in my mind.

hi buys what are your opinions on objects with last names ?!?!??!!!!!! usually i just translate a word related to the object into like latin or smth cause its cool (like, for example, marker, pen and pencil's last name (i hc them as siblings) would be "scriptor," which is writer in latin i believe)

ermm yeah also i can use this for LORE !! cause in my goiky lore i made it so that all of the og leaders of each province are ancestors of a freesmart member (cause i like freesmart ecks dee) ,,and the like,,,true leader of all of them was mechanical pencil (or just mechanica for short) and her last name is also scriptor....wow !!

Project Title: TAZ: The Infinite Codex (MMO)

Space (All I Think About is You and Me) lore Expanded

@stella-scriptor asked nd I cannot resist the urge to talk about my baby. So here is the lyric relevance/why I think the song the title comes from fits!

This one just sets up the song. The narrator is far away from the ‘you’ character: in the easiest interpretation, which I like, Patton and Virgil are in completely opposite parts of the brain.

With a Virgil-to-Jordan interpretation, he is completely removed from Jordan (being that Jordan is dead and all), having new experiences and seeing new things, which Jordan can’t do. He’s looking back as he moves forward, somewhat wistfully.

If you’re talking Anton, there’s a whole beautiful world he never got to show his son. He’s gotten along okay without him, but it hurts to think of all the things he’ll never see or know. Virgil goes to Anton’s garden at least once a week to care for it, get new flowers for the dead sides’ doors, and talk to him about the things he would be experiencing.

Virgil is in the subconscious thinking about his former home and his friend that he left behind. He wonders how Patton is doing. I have an image in my mind of each of them going through their days and morning routines--Virgil brushes his teeth and wonders if Patton ever thinks of him, Patton makes pancakes and wonders if his old friend could still be alive somewhere in the subconscious, and what he’s doing now, Virgil cleans his cereal bowl and hopes Patton is happy in the front brain, Patton grabs some board games and glaces at an old memory of the two of them. Each of them are a world apart, looking over in the other’s direction.

And even though I’ve always dreamed of going to the stars... In space, all I think about is you and me And atmosphere

This one could apply best to Virgil and Jordan. Time and again, Virgil builds a life for himself--when he moves into the subconscious and becomes something of a caretaker for the others, when Deceit and Anton’s generation is born and he has new people to care for, when he moves to the front brain and gets accepted; and each time, he’s getting everything he’s ever wanted back, but some part of him can’t move on from Jordan’s death and the what-ifs surrounding it. With each new loss, there’s a stronger pull to look back at what he’s lost until even as he’s building a home for himself, all he can think about is what he’s left behind. At his last victory, being accepted by Thomas and the others, he’s even lost Deceit, and it’s hard to be happy with what he’s gained in the face of all he’s given up to get here.

This scene didn’t make it into the fic, but one time after his acceptance Roman invited Virgil to gallivant around his kingdom for a little while with the others, and the four of them went on a picnic/adventure. It was really nice and they were all enjoying themselves until Roman happened to look over at Virgil and he looked so proud of himself for thinking of this trip and for showing off his kingdom, and he was looking at Virgil like, this is good, right? I did something cool?, and for a second he looked just like Anton. Virgil choked up immediately and just vanished. By the time the others found him curled up against one of his ‘dummy’ doors, he was just saying to himself, “It wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t worth it.”

Roman felt awful bc Clearly this is His Fault Somehow, maybe his kingdom was bad for Virgil, maybe Virgil has remembered how much not being accepted hurt and realized that he doesn’t want to be part of the famILY after paying that price, maybe he hates Roman forever now,,, and Virgil barely left his room to eat and just wouldn’t look at Roman for days after that, but he refused all apologies outright. When Roman tried to corner him and say he was sorry for whatever he did and please come back Patton and Logan miss you, Virgil yelled at him and disappeared completely for three days. Patton was distraught. Roman was distraught. Virgil was distraught. Logan was trying very hard to convince himself it’s illogical to be distraught and either Virgil will come back or he WILL come back, considering other options is silly and a waste of energy. It was a bad time for all of them.

So that’s fun :)

I might do the rest of the lyrics later if there’s interest, but that’s why the first verse up to the title line fit the fic! All of the chapter titles have their own explanations too, but they’re much shorter.

This is why Star Wars is not true sci-fi. I have never been a fan nor will I ever be.

Sci-fi is focusing on the repercussions of (advanced) technology. Technology just being a fancy accessory to the plot is NOT true sci-fi.

Invent/introduce technology - Use technology - F*ck up the environment/timeline/lives of many people - Undo the F*cking up - Decide whether to improve or destroy technology - Lesson learned - End the story with the fate of the technology, being decided by the reader or audience.

That is sci-fi.

I don't know where I read it but one of the best quotes I've ever read about the nature of sci-fi was "A good sci-fi story is one that predicts not the car but the traffic jam"
