Presenting my bad photography skills 😆; but I loved the food and the ambience 😌 at this cafe called "Desert Rose" in the @nmoqatar premises. . I assume the name of the cafe is derived from the main concept of the museum's architectural design by French architect Jean Nouvel who was inspired to design the museum by the shape of the desert rose, a flower-like formation that occurs in the Gulf region. . My friends and I were lucky enough to get inside the museum before it became crowded and also we reached Qatar the next day the museum opened for the public. All In all, we were the lucky ones 😆. . On a constant lookout for snacks that are free from refined sugar. I found some brown riceflakes and date molases in my pantry ; so I decided to whip up this goody immediately. Presenting to you this brown rice flake snack/treat. _______________ 1 cup Brown #riceflakes and 1/2 cup desicated #coconut toasted in 2 tbsp ghee on a skillet and mixed with 3 tbsp #datemolases with a hint of cardamom powder. The mixture is spread on parchment paper and left to cool.
