Breathe in, breathe out. Again. ✨ • I feel the fear and panic around me. I feel tendrils of it coiling around my own mind. What I do ᏦℕᎾᏇ is that the Earth has her own wisdom.. and that we as a culture have a great capacity for benevolence, kindness, and bravery. We are scared because we worry - about our loved ones, our way of life. But the stress and worry also does not benefit us physically. Breathe in, breathe out. Deeply. Repeat. We had crazy tropical storm winds yesterday and lost WiFi for several hours. We live out in the boonies with little to no cell service, so without WiFi there’s no service at all. There’s that initial panic about being disconnected.. but that quickly gives way to a mellow relief at having the time to one’s self. We’re all so deeply dependent on the internet / cell phone - 🙋🏻‍♀️ at least I know *I* am.. sometimes it’s nice to look that dependency in the eye, and tell her to take a hike for awhile. • It was also the 6 month anniversary of losing my stepfather, so it was as if the universe said: just go outside and be still. We watched the moon 🌝 and I cried into the grass. Anniversaries are strange- such arbitrary markers of time, yet.. *yet* they feel so big, and I’m not exactly sure why. ｔｏｕｒｍａｌｉｎｅ ｄｒｅａｍ … •💕🍉💎• When I had the opportunity to work with these juicy, enlivening #Tourmaline cuts - I could not resist; it felt as if they were meant for this upcoming release. Pinks💞 and Blues💙 dominate here… each working with different Chakras (Heart, and Third Eye + Throat, respectively) - and different vibrations.. but one thing is consistent: they’re all heavenly. ☁️ • Gold, silver, rose gold, and copper - all mingling for a classy-yet-chic mixed-metal result.. What do you do when you need to relax and recharge? 🕯🌿💎 • Asking for a friend 🤣🤣... jk, I have to admit — this isn’t my strong suit. I usually go balls-to-the-wall until I realize I’m about to snap, then have to take a long breather. I’m trying to be better about it recently.. not beating myself up when I can’t work due to 2-year-old antics / life, etc... this weekend I definitely made some space for just relaxing with the family - NOT running a list in my head the whole time of what needs to be done 🤪... Grandidierite - if you haven’t yet experienced it, you must. First discovered in Madagascar, and named after a French explorer - Alfred Grandidier - who studied Madagascar.. this teal-hued gem has the reputation of being one of the rarest minerals on the planet. Gem-quality, faceted Grandidierite fetches incredibly high prices.. and select pieces travel in museum exhibitions so that people can behold this rare, blue beauty. Not much is written about the metaphysical qualities of Grandidierite.. but a few qualities seem generally agreed upon.. many of which I’ve experienced for myself. It is intensely detoxifying for the body and auric field. Like a spiritual vacuum cleaner, it works to just rid us of stagnant, unwanted energy. Although the color indicates it as a Throat Chakra stone, it feels deeply connected to the heart as well. (Of course, as we know, those two centers are very much connected.)
