Next one fresh from my workbench! Zerberus Guitars Nemesis with a top made of beautiful banded Calcite stone (aka. Onyx Boca del Rio). You hear right - this is no airbrush, photo-finish, plastic , fake-stone, artificial stone or any kind of coating! Is a real 0.2" Onyx Boca del Rio laid into a chambered Mahogany body. That stone is translucent so I installed a LED chain that can be switched on and off. You love it? Turn it on on stage and all eyes are on you ( You hate it? Throw away the battery and forget about it (but recycle the battery please) This guitar is only 8lb by the way – not heavier than most standard solidbody guitars. Chronos with spalted Maple top making good progress. I started this project a few months ago and now it will be finished pretty soon. I have been absent from Instagram for a long time and I kindly apologize. 2021 has been a very tough Year for all of us and I hope that the new Year will bring better times and relief for all of us. What´s up at Zerberus-Guitars? What´s up with Frank? ( Now this is real guitar-porn Did I exaggerate it with this guitar? I don´t think so. Surely not a guitar for everybody This is a Chronos with bookmatched curly Maple top and a two layer (Red/Gold) hologram pinstripe. I equipped it with a Seymour Duncan SH1n (59) on neck and a SH-4 Jeff Beck on bridge position. Coil split for each humbucker indiviually? Sure thing! Got two Push-Pull Potentiometers. This one has got a Duesenberg (Duesy) Diamond Deluxe Trem. Love that hardware. Kluson top locking tuners, Wilkinson roller bridge and Graph Tech Guitar Labs Black TUSQ nut. My own potiknobs and a 3 meters KLOTZ AIS TITANIUM walnut - supreme guitar cable with walnut sleeves (an excellent guitar deserves the best cable). Of course including a Zerberus luxury hard case and certificate. Weight: 7.3 lb Sound: Fat and warm in humbucker mode and bluesy with lots of twang in single coil mode. I hope you enjoy. After a long time I am back with some new pictures. Here in Germany we still are under lockdown and my heart feels with all the companies that might not survive that pandemic. I am grateful and blessed that I still can spend my time in my little workshop and still build and sell my guitars. So here I proudly present my latest artwork fresh from the workbench. This is a Chronos with a top made of real beautiful banded Calcite stone (aka. Onyx Fantastico Red Light). You hear right - this is no airbrush, photo-finish, plastic, fake-stone, artificial stone, thin stone veneer or any other kind of coating! Is a real 0.2" Onyx Fantastico laid into a chambered Mahogany body. I also laid in a real Ammonite fossil. (Those Ammonites are from 66 Million up to 407 Million Years old fossils – for those who look for vintage guitars hahahah). As pickups I choose a set of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates with coil split by two push-pull potentiometers. Next one fresh from my workbench! Zerberus Guitars Nemesis with a top made of beautiful banded Calcite stone (aka. Onyx Boca del Rio). You hear right - this is no airbrush, photo-finish, plastic , fake-stone, artificial stone or any kind of coating! Is a real 0.2" Onyx Boca del Rio laid into a chambered Mahogany body. That stone is translucent so I installed a LED chain that can be switched on and off. You love it? Turn it on on stage and all eyes are on you ( You hate it?
