His one wish during home renos was a dream gym.  And he got it.

My husband attempting to find his quiet, calm place after I informed him that our oldest is asking to be taken shopping for training bras and that she’s likely not got long to go before starting her period.

I only got up to go the bathroom and I came back to this. How does someone so small take up so much bloody room?

Felt the need to take a picture because in the three years since we re-did the room and the wife decorated it,  no one has ever stepped foot in it. Let alone been allowed to eat in it.   She just goes in once a week to dust.  But she did a great job with it (despite how colorful it is) and she remains very proud of herself. 

When shit goes down with the business that’s way above my pay grade, this one steps in.

Yesterday evening these guys nursed and nursed and nursed, so at about 10:30 as Nikki was getting ready to sleep she said maybe these guys will sleep a good chunk of the night so she could also sleep. Elias is settling into his big brother role quite nicely. Other than love and security, is there anything greater that we can give a child than a sibling? Watch for the Boom! We have been deathly sick at home the last few days, but antibiotics seems to be working and we celebrated with a walk on our land. Honestly I thought we would walk out far enough to see the goats seeing the Nikki will bring our #secondsetoftwins into the world on Thursday, but no, in true Nikki fashion, we ended up hiking through the meadows, through the forest, down to the stream, through the moss flats, along the new pond and then finally to the goats. These guys turned 3 yesterday! 3?!! How did that happen?? Parenting twins hasn't been easy. There have been times when we have felt like we were just barely holding on lol. Also it has been so much fun!! I had forgotten I filmed some of the twins first steps and yesterday @nikki_lallatin_photography needed to clear out more space on her computer and discovered there was a folder of old gopro footage I had uploaded on it 2 years ago.
