I really don’t think that we’re leaving Rex, Echo, the clones as a whole, or even Crosshair, Wrecker (or, yes, Tech) dangling forever.

Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos 1819-1867 Feast Day: October 5 Patronage: against cancer

Blessed Fr. Francis Xavier Seelos was beatified by Pope Saint John Paul II in 2000. Born in Germany, he was inspired to be a Redemptorist missionary priest in the U.S. to serve the German immigrants.  At St. Philomena’s Parish in Pittsburgh, he was the assistant to St. John Neumann, who was his spiritual director and encouraged him to preach missions. Fr. Seelos lived a simple lifestyle, serving the poor and abandoned. He was called the “Cheerful Ascetic,” the “American Wonderworker,” the “Doctor of Souls,” for his intercession in healing bodies and souls. He was assigned to parishes in Detroit, Baltimore, and New Orleans, where he died from yellow fever contracted from caring for victims of the disease.

What if “the cavalry” in the final episode isn’t the Bad Batch themselves but everyone they helped since the first season? The Syndullas, Gungi and the Wookiees, Phee and the folks from Pabu, maybe even Saw Gerrera - victims of the Empire fighting for the clones that fought for them 🥹 It’s possible, right? RIGHT!? 😭

Fr tho it’s actually a perfect opportunity to start a rebellion. All those disparate groups brought together for a common goal. And maybe it fails, but the point is that now they know there are others like them out there, that there’s still hope. And in the end, isn’t that what Star Wars is about?

It’s also a perfect fuck you to Palpatine. For all his planning, he sowed the seeds for his own undoing lol Like Gerrera and his rebels, the Republic trained the clones and then they went on to haunt the Empire IT RHYMES 🤭

This takes place early on after they got to Seelos. They are still sort of adjusting to each other, learning how to live with each other's quirks and issues.

We are called to do one of the hardest things—to trust. After being shaped by the world for so long, trust doesn’t come naturally to the human heart. Yet, children trust easily because they haven’t been deeply wounded by life’s struggles. Jesus tells us, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:3). But what if we’ve lost that childlike manner of trusting? There is always a way back—through daily prayer and obedience to His Word on a daily basis. He hears your call the first time you turn to Him and say, "Father, please help me!" No matter how far we’ve strayed, God’s mercy never runs out. As Psalm 136:26 reminds us, "Give thanks to the God of heaven. His mercy endures forever." He is faithful to the very end.
