RYUUU i’m here for (a very late) selfship thursday >< how do you and mr lucifer wind down at night? especially after a long busy day !! do you talk about each other’s day over a cup of coffee in bed? or is it some quiet alone time? maybe even just cuddling in silence? eeep don’t be afraid to give me all the details !! :3

Tbh, you couldn’t have picked a better time to ask since I’m actually unwinding rn, so I’ll just picture him here with me hehe. How I unwind really depends on my mood, but my favourite and simplest way is literally just laying down. So, I imagine myself sprawled out on the bed like a starfish while Lucifer is nearby, pouring himself a glass of wine while wearing his peepaw robe. He’d offer me one too, and most of the time, I’d say yes! If not, I normally ask for tea ><

I can picture him moving around the room, doing a million little things while I stay in one spot. He’d turn on the gramophone, sit next to me, admire his art decor, sit back next to me, then get up again to refill his glass. It’s like he has ants in his pants. Meanwhile, I’d be the one doing all the talking, especially if work’s been a nightmare. Eventually, he’d start talking too, and before we know it, it’d turn into this long talkfest, with time just slipping away. Suddenly, it’s already time for bed!

I’d probably complain about being too lazy to get up and take off my makeup, and he’d sigh, cross his arms, but then entice me by saying we could shower / do our nightly skin routine together. And paint me the silliest girl in the world bc it works every time 🤡.

Now, I know this man does NOT get into bed until the exact moment he’s ready to rest, so on quieter days when I don’t feel like talking, we’d just read together. We’d start at opposite ends of the couch, but little by little, we’d end up scooting closer until the books are forgotten, and we’re just cuddling instead. Honestly, those nights are the best :( Lucifer genuinely gets pissy if something inconveniences him while we’re meant to have some down time together.

Not to be naughty but we unwind by doing other things too but hurhurhurhurhur I’ll leave that up to your imagination >:)

i think deep down in my heart i’d be pyro. i’m a fire sign and i really resonate with my element bc two out of my big three (sun, moon, rising) are fire signs. i feel things deeply and passionately and believe it or not i do have a bit of a temper (not my best trait).

i think my weapon would be a sword! 🤍 i think they’re cool. and i grew up with my family having swords hung around the house like artwork so i’ve always loved them.

Oh, baby our love goes deeper than the mariana trench. We’re not married, but it feels like we already are. And if i’m being super honest, eloping is totally on our radar. He’d ask me casually, I’d say yes, and that same day we’d have a cute, intimate ceremony with just the two of us. Probably somewhere on the outskirts of Sumeru, maybe hidden within the emerald forestry. We’d probably forget to tell our friends until one day they notice a ring and go, “Wait, what?” Then, just for them, we’d throw a small ceremony. As for ryuhaitham lore, we properly meet later in life, but we actually crossed paths as kids. Though we forgot about this interaction until we ended up together. That is a whole other story tho hehe

Omg it’s hard to explain without getting too deep, but when I look into his eyes I see someone who struggles with emotions and being vulnerable. I’ll defend him against anyone who says he’s a red flag. He’s been on his own since his grandmother passed, so he’s just used to being independent and doing things his way. And that’s okay! Honestly, I’m kind of the same irl—I keep my cards close to my chest. But with him, he brings out the lover girl in me I can’t lie. I just want to take care of him, shower him with love, and make him feel less alone (I know he doesn’t but I do feel like he’s open for more company once we start dating). I can see he loves the people around him very deeply, just in his own Alhaitham way 🤍

nami and i, in our own ways, are pretty straightforward. i think nami wins by a smidge though. only because you can figure out her emotions so quickly. she’s either yelling, crying, beating tf out of men, scared, excited, feeling herself etc etc… and she’s a yapper so if you put two and two together… it should not be hard to know what ms nami is feeling.

that said, i think she gets more jealous than me. its not that i don’t get jealous, it’s that she makes me look calm gfhghhghhhj she’s the type to wait until the situation is over (sometimes she doesn’t) before she brings out those shark teeth as steam shoots from her ears. it’s never actually over anything serious and it never lasts but tbh i find it quite endearing. like sometimes i just let her freak out while im off thinking ok she’s kind of cute when she’s mad (knowing that the situation isn’t that serious). it’s never towards me, it’s more so towards the sleazy men who hit on me and she gets angry that they have the audacity to even breathe around me 💀 if she’s feeling bold, she might yell out “ryu!! baby, come here!! stop talking to that gross old man!! gags” and i say “oh! sorry gtg gf is calling bye ^_^”

the first date with lucifer, you ask? it was mostly planned to the last detail! with his meticulous schedule, i think he would have broken out in hives if it was spontaneous 🥴 (though, as our relationship grows he learns to enjoy the fun in being impulsive). the date was as fancy as you’d expect!

it began with a bit of shopping but when i wandered over to the lingerie section, i had to excuse myself from him because— well! that’s awkward! but blissfully unaware, lucifer sneaks up from behind just as i’m holding the most scandalous little set known to man. he gets utterly flustered when he realises but pretending to be cool and composed, he buys it for me. although ik he’s dying on the inside, sweating bullets trying not to imagine anything inappropriate.

the shopping leads to a lovely dinner and he loosens up a bit after some liquid courage (demonus). i couldn’t resist teasing him for going pink and he bounces back with some flirty remarks. that was supposed to be all for the date but we enjoyed each other’s company so much that we couldn’t bring ourselves to part ways just yet. so we went back to his office, let the gramophone play softly in the background while we chatted and debated into the wee hours of the morning, sipping on some drink i can’t even remember the name of. maybe with a few kissies in between. it was just… perfect!

mr alhaitham definitely updates me via text more often!!! he’d send me random pictures with no context just so i can see what he’s doing. like a picture of his meal (even if it’s something as simple as toast) or like a picture of the sky while he’s a on a walk <3 when i tell him what i’m up to, he’s always saying “show me” so i end up sending a bunch of selfies too. and oh! we have cats so he’s constantly updating me with pictures or videos of our fur babies!!!

i can tell he’s a smidge clingier than usual by how fast he replies whenever i send something :((( he’s not very speedy with replies (i’m the same) but we’re unintentionally more immediate with our responses while i’m away

we call every morning and they’re not longer per se but you can tell that both of us don’t really want to hang up. the conversation is over and we’re just lingering in silence, refusing to say bye first LOL he’s better than me though, because he‘s usually the one to close it off. “well i know you have to go” type beat 😭
