Notes: Session #11

Summary: Aurora has conversations with the individual party members. The party exits the tower.

Aurora first invites Fred to join her. She shares some of her recently regained memories — particularly memories pertaining to Fred being the Lord of Air. She then brings up Niko, and explains Fred's role in bringing Niko to Fundat. Fred dislikes this and says that if the Lord of Air is the kind of person who separates children from their families, he doesn't want to be him. Fred also insists that Niko should know. Aurora fears that it might reawaken Niko's childhood nightmares, which are tied to some sort of terror that the Champions of Cantata shared.

It becomes an argument between Fred and Aurora, which settles somewhat as Aurora says she'll tell Niko some of it, but not all, and Fred says that he can't stop her, but isn't pleased with the situation.

After their conversation, Aurora invites Koi upstairs. They speak lightly about what Aurora recalled regarding Koi and Mara, and Koi feels guilty and distressed about the situation with Aaria. Aurora comforts them.

While they speak, Fred and Niko investigate the tower for the magic items Vorin mentioned. Using Detect Magic, they make their way to the top of the tower. As Fred opens the trapdoor above the top of the staircase, it slams open. Aurora appears from her chambers, where she's speaking with Koi, and chides Fred and Niko. Fred and Niko persuade her to let them keep looking. In the uppermost chamber, they find an Emerald Pen (given to Niko) and a bag of Dust of Disappearance (given to Aurora).

After her conversation with Koi, Aurora speaks with Niko. [Insert summary later.]

Aurora then speaks with Aaria. Aaria is still in somewhat of a mood, so Aurora offers her whiskey. Aaria asks if Aurora knew the Whisperer. Aurora didn't. They discuss the implications of the Champions being gone, and Aurora explains what she remembers of Alarion.

Aaria is still on the fence about becoming a Champion. She lights a candle and tries to pray to Alarion. She's successful, and for a little while, they speak. She asks about Alaria, then about Velaldel. Alarion admits that the last time they saw Velaldel was "at the fragments, the shards", but can't make themselves say more about Velaldel's state. They warn Aaria about investigation the shards — for now — and instead ask her to learn and seek knowledge of Cantata. Alarion admits that Fred, Aurora, and Koi were sent to Fundat to give them a fighting chance against the power that has infected Cantata.

When Aurora and Aaria come downstairs, Aurora gestures for Viliam to join her upstairs. Meanwhile, Fred sits at the foot of the statue of the Lord of Fire and invites Aaria to join him, to mediate between her and Koi, but Aaria is still tense and the they pivot to discussing the Champions instead. Aaria asks if Fred can hear prayers, and Fred takes a moment to listen. At first he hears nothing, then he begins to pick up the impression of voices swirling in the back of his mind, like whispers on a breeze. He finds it somewhat disconcerting.

Leaving Aaria to herself, he then checks in on Koi.

Upstairs, Aurora and Viliam discuss Niko and his role in all this. Aurora then goes upstairs to Velaldel's study and tries to pray to him, but hears no reply.

The conversations wrap up and the party makes arrangements to exit the tower. Aurora wants to seal the tower after them, and so sends everyone else (including Mother Morelle) out first to distract. Viliam is supposed to make it look like he has cast some magic on it, but outside he finds the courtyard more or less empty, except for a lanky, blue firbolg girl. Seeing her, Viliam recognises her as Lea Peacock and remembers his many visits to Rosa Mors. Overwhelmed, he invites her to hug him — which she does, almost knocking him over — and he completely forgets to make it look like he is the one sealing the doors.

Miffed, Aurora seals the doors, only to then catch the eyes of Alaria looking directly at her from across the courtyard. There is a look of anger, bafflement, and sadness on Alaria's face.

Please no sims that have been used with Crystal Creations gameplay or have cheated college degrees. If you want the sim to have a degree let me know and I'll add it. These make my game very, very cranky.

A sim that refuses to go to the beach without a metal detector. Sometimes brushes his teeth, you know when they really need it. And is pretty sure they've seen at least 1 mermaid, well almost certainly, probably. I envision him with a dog. Sim should definitely have skin damage. Other Details: up to you.

Split across three levels, the first floor area is prioritized for your hair treatments, Manicures and Pedicures. Hello and welcome back to my blog!

As a final treat for this year's Simblreen (@simblreenofficial), I'm excited to share a house inspired by the spirit of the season! While the name of this lot may be a nod to Danny Phantom, unfortunately it isn't a replica of Pariah's Keep. Instead, it's designed to be a home fit for a modern-ish witch and I've included as many Halloween-themed CC items as I could.

I’ve been considering getting the Supernatural expansion pack but something has always held me back into doing it and working on this house has made that temptation even stronger. Since I don’t have the pack, all witch-related objects are purely decorative. You can replace them with Supernatural objects like cauldrons, wands, etc. which can be stored in the hidden witches' potion pantry in the tower.

As a reminder, 📣 please note that the store content and CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. The lot may seem a bit sparse from above based on the floor plan pictures but this includes around 79 CCs. These are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game but if you want it to look the same as in the pictures, you can always go to my WCIF Navigation page, where I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately.

I placed three fog emitters outside the house to create an eerie atmosphere, especially at night and as long as your game is patched to 1.42 or higher then you won’t need the Ambitions expansion pack for this to be available. However, the Generations and Pets expansion pack are required due to the build items used in the lot as stated in the Details section above.

If you want to check and/or remove the fog emitters, enable “testingcheatsenabled true” and “buydebug on” after.

This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

it had been a long day. you had a huge presentation for one of your biology courses, a hectic night at work, and you still had to make dinner and finish up some chores. you just wanted to crash into your bed the second you walked through the door, but the growl of you stomach and the idea of having a clean kitchen changed your mind.

caitlin was away for a game tonight. your lack of attendance only due to the fact that you had work, but you assured her that you’d force your manager to cast in on one the restaurants TV’s so you could watch. plus you promised you’d be waiting for her when she got back home.

you pulled out the groceries you’d bought last weekend when you dragged caitlin along and you began preparing dinner. you felt your eyelids slightly drooping as you stood at the stove. the scent of burning vegetables quickly woke you up, however. once the food was done, you set a plate aside for yourself, and threw the rest into the fridge for caitlin when she got home.

for 22, love you! you scribbled onto a post-it note, sticking it to the container.

you sat at the kitchen island and ate in silence, still trying to fight off sleep. your body ached and your head pounded. yet, you found the strength to get up and wash your dishes and clean the rest of the kitchen.

both of your legs felt heavy when you eventually walked up the stairs to your shared bedroom with cait. the site of your neatly made bed nearly brought you to happy tears, you just wanted to lay down for the night. as you changed into your pajamas and washed your face before bed, you couldn’t stop thinking about when caitlin was going to be home. your bed, her arms wrapped around your waist, her gentle kisses; it sounded like absolute heaven.

when you finally got settled in, letting your head fall against the satin pillowcase, you heard the front door unlock and the hinges creaking. heavy footsteps followed. you’d recognize them from anywhere.

after a long wait for her to make it up the stairs, caitlin gently opened the door to your bedroom, slightly shocked to see you still awake.

“hey, baby” she walked over to your side of the bed and gently kissed your forehead “you waited up for me?”

“course i did, honey” you smiled back, eyes hardly even open at this point “i missed you, you did so good tonight”

“thanks, but i’m absolutely beat” she dragged over to her closet, changing into her night clothes and into the bathroom to wash away the stress of the game.

when she emerged from the bathroom, you could tell she was just as tired as you were. she often overworked herself when it came to basketball, always wanting to play her best, be the best, win every time, the list goes on. so when she came home like this, you knew the game must’ve been tougher than normal.

she crawled into bed next to you, arms instinctively wrapping around your waist and prodding her face into the crook of your neck. her much needed sigh of relief tickled the sensitive skin of your jaw. you smiled, content that she was home here with you.

the both of you laid like that for a few moments, reveling in each others embrace, your fingers tracing light patterns on the bare skin of her forearm. then caitlin moved slightly away from you, creating a band of space between her face and your neck.

she began slowly kissing your neck. her lips warm and soft, beckoning a moan from deep in your throat. she continued kiss up and down your jaw, slowly making her way down your neck and eventually to your collarbone where she tugged at the neckline of your shirt.

“i need this so bad, baby” she breathed “please let me do this”

with your eyes still closed, you nodded, lazily pulling your shirt over your head to give her easier access. it left you bare, all except your underwear and shorts, letting her run her hands across your torso.

she wasted no time pulling you onto her lap, still kissing at you shoulder and leaving faint purple marks on your skin. your breathing became shallow as her calloused hands found your breasts, kneading gently, her lips working their way back up to yours. her tongue fought past your lips, finding yours to further deepen the kiss. you moaned into her mouth as you tugged at the bottom hem of her shirt. with little hesitation she allowed you to pull it over her head. now it was your turn to caress her, lightly running your hands over the curves and dips in her skin, studying every mole and birthmark with your fingertips.

there you were, pressed tightly together in bed on a friday night, lazily making out. nothing more. neither of you attempted anything else, too entranced in each others company that you couldn’t be bothered to pull away from the others lips. too tired to even think of taking things further. you just wanted to revel in each others presence, to show how badly you missed each other.

it felt like it had been hours. to be honest, you don’t think you could have stopped even if it was. caitlin pulled your bottom lip in between her teeth, nipping at it slightly before indulging in another sweet kiss. her hands sat at the sides of your breasts while her thumbs massaged at the supple skin. your hands, no longer roaming over her abdomen, were now making its way to her messy hair. being as soft as humanly possible, you pulled out her pony tail, letting her brown hair fall around her face.

you pulled away from her for a quick moment to get a good look at her, allowing your fingers to whisk the rogue hair away from her face. her eyes flickered open at the loss of your lips on hers, the light of the moon creeping through the curtains allowed you to see all of her.

“you’re so beautiful, cait” you whispered, so tired you were starting to lose your voice.

her cheeks began to glow an irresistible pink as she smiled at you “must’ve not seen yourself recently” she whispered back, leaning back in to kiss you some more.

this must be what heaven is, you thought to yourself, lips still exploring hers. when you’ve both grown old, spent the entirety of your lives together, and it’s time to leave this earth, you hope this is what’s at the end. just you and your lover, lost in each others touch.

Ronnie Petersons Chronicles #7

Guess who is back! Everything went well for me even though it was stressful but I am very excited to post this. Either this chronicle is longer than the others or I am just tired. It took way more time to translate than the other ones. Might be because Ronnie writes like any person born in 1944 would and uses a lot of Swedish phrases/words that hardly can be translated without sounding really weird. But I have tried my best!

I like that picture a lot. A young Ronnie sitting next to the experienced Mr. Monaco himself! I wonder what they talked about, or honestly if they talked at all! It mostly looks like they are receiving information. Do note the sideburns and somewhat matching hair, even if Ronnies hair is a bit messier.

Do excuse any grammatical errors, English is not my first language. “(italics)” is my explanation of things.

“Things are getting hard for Peterson now”

(Early April, London, England)

“I’ve driven two races since you last heard of me. The first one was a Formula 2-race at the short but fast Mallory Park-track in England, the second race was the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch outside of London.

You already know how it went at Mallory Park, even if I do not want to call that runoff a ‘crash’ like some newspapers are very excited to do. At Mallory we had problems with the car from the start. There are new rules for Formula 2 this year, you can now use 2-liter engines now. This far into the season it is really sparse with 2-liter engines, it is practically no one who has managed to finish developing them from the 1600-cc motors.

The 2-liter engine I got for Mallory Park soon got tired. It protested against being so full of holes. And that you would probably have to have some understanding for, a few of the metal walls are hardly thicker than a half rotten autumn leaf!

The reserve motor had to make do

So I had to continue practising with a reserve motor and that also went well since nobody else has a real 2-liter engine either. The fastest practice time and the best starting position was the result of Saturday's practice.

The race was in two sessions. None was particularly successful for me. In the first one the fuelhose came loose, so there I stood in the middle of the track and tried putting it on again while David Morgan, who won the race, Carlos Reutemann, Niki Lauda, Mike Hailwood and the others flew past.

When I managed to get driving again I drove really fast, as the lap record showed , but that joy did not last long. The fuel pump collapsed. Very much an end to that session for Peterson. The mechanics managed to get the car ready for the second session and I had to start last since I retired on the first. So I just had to hang on and overtake as many as possible before the field spread out too much.

I got three laps. Just as I was supposed to drive myself up to ninth I got into a mudpile a Formula Ford-car had thrown up when rejoining the track at an earlier session.

…and then the back wheels lost their grip

The backwheels lost their grip in the mud and I went off the track and smashed the nose of the car and broke some struts in the front. So it was just for the mechanics to roll the car into the bus and start working with it.

I went home to my new rowhouse outside of London. It is the first time during this wandering life that me and Babro have acquired a place to live in, of course excluding our parental homes. It is actually really nice to have a solid place somewhere when you move around like I do.

The house is in a nice suburb near the airport (possibly Heathrow, but I might be wrong) so that I can easily leave for races. Tim Schenken lives a few houses away from me and that is very nice. We can go over to each other and talk from time to time.

But I did not get to spend a lot of time home last week. My new Formula 1-car took most of the time. During the Tuesday we had a press-viewing in London and I had never driven the car.

New cars are nerve-wracking

The car rolled for the first time at Silverstone during Thursday. It was a little bit nerve-wracking testing it for the first time after all the work we have done on it during last autumn. There was not a lot of driving. In the beginning of a test you have to do so many small adjustments of all the bolts that have something to do with the wheel alignment, check the hose coupling in the kotor etc, so there is not a lot of time over for a proper drive.

But the car felt right and I was pretty happy with it. The guys from Teknikens Värld was there when we tested the car for the first time so you guys will have to read more about in their article (which I unfortunately have not found). I have promised them to not steal their story. Journalists are so sensitive about that.

So then it was time for the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch. We did not go there with the new car to win, rather to practice. Well, of course I always try to win, you always do, but there was hardly anyone in the team that thought of victory.

I did not get to practice much

During practice we had quite a lot of adjustments to make so I did not get to drive a lot. Got 12’th position on the starting grid and that is not exactly good. The race itself was neither exciting nor fun.

Emerson Fittipaldi drove ahead of everyone already at the start, and then he held his position until the finish line. The guy is simply a good driver. Real good. I have a feeling that he will be one of the guys at the top when it is time to count the world championship-points.

I got to stay lonely and drive at the back. Got to twelfth place after a while. But I am not all that disappointed. We got a lot of useful experience from the car that will be useful for the Spanish Grand Prix.

The F2-car is fast

The Monday after the Race of Champions, which was the 19’th, I went to the Thruxtontrack to teat the F2-car which had been fixed since Mallory Park. It went really good and I managed to break my personal record with a whole second and that is a lot on that track!

And now it is time to go to Sebring in the USA to drive the sports cars-world championship. Then I am going to do a small detour in the middle of the week to drive a Formula 1-race in the middle of the week with my old car in Brazil. And on Good Friday I will drive Formula 2 at Oulton Park.

It will be a hard time for Peterson until you hear from me again. “

It is very impressive how many races Ronnie manages to drive! He sounds quite tired to be honest, at least with the testing and practices.

Yes Ronnie, Emerson will be at the top of the world championship, the absolute top to be exact! Emerson would later be described as Ronnies best friend in Formula 1, I wonder if they already were friends? They at least knew each other at this time.

Notes: Session #10

Summary: Aurora and Viliam enter the tower of the Lord of Fire, Aurora remembers her past, and many conversations happen.

AARIA & ZIA

Aaria speaks a little longer with Alaria, then asks if there's anything Alaria can offer that might be of use to the party. Alaria suggests messenger pigeons, though the pigeons tend to vanish if they fly beyond the Safe Zone. Currently, the pigeons are primarily used by the hunting party and are kept by Kilian Peacock, the Pigeon Master.

Aaria and Zia leave Alaria to tend to the heliconia dragons. Inside the dining hall they notice a commotion in the courtyard and hurry out. They emerge at the same time as Niko and Fred, led by Vorin, emerge.

NIKO & FRED

Niko and Fred try to figure out if there's anything at Rosa Mors that might help them in their endeavours — specifically something of a magical nature. Vorin mentions that Mara, the Lord of Water, used to keep magic items close by her, so any magic items at Rosa Mors would likely be kept in the tower of the Lord of Fire. The tower is sealed, but they could have a look at trying to open it. He leads Niko and Fred outside, emerging at the same time as Aaria and Zia, and discover a commotion in the courtyard.

AURORA & VILIAM

Viliam and Aurora investigate the tower. The double doors are firmly closed, with a scorched handprint where the doors meet. Viliam encourages Aurora to try to open it. He then tries to shield her from view and pretends to command the doors to open, while she summons fire and presses her hand against the handprint. The handprint is noticeably larger than her own hand, presumably belonging to the Lord of Fire.

The doors open and Viliam ushers Aurora inside. They bar the doors and explore the ground floor — a statue of the Lord of Fire in their divine state, behind which a spiralling staircase winds up. At the back are two doorways, one filled with black emptiness with the Sylvan words for 'Hear the crackle' carved into the arch, while the other leads to steaming warm baths.

On either side of the staircase are pillars with empty braziers. Aurora lights the braziers, steps onto the first step, and is immediately struck by all the memories that had been erased. (Note to DM: See player notes from sessions 9.1–9.7.)

With her memories intact, Aurora goes to the top of the tower and finds it undisturbed. She and Viliam then sit on the steps she explains some of what she has recalled: becoming an apprentice to the Lord of Fire; meeting Zia and Mara; Fred being the Lord of Air; Viliam having been her friend; a conversation with the Lord of Fire about some great terror that haunts the Champions of Cantata; the things she learned about Niko and Niko's sister.

She asks Viliam for advice, and Viliam — in a moment of introspection — says that he has been acting out of fear, and that he wishes for her to choose how to act in this situation. She decides to speak to Mother Morelle, and asks if Viliam can fetch her. Afterwards, she thinks she would like to speak to the rest of the party members.

Viliam goes downstairs, and upon opening the doors discovers that they were not as stealthy as they tried to be. A number of people have gathered, including Alaria, who is surprised that they managed to open the tower. She makes it clear that she would like to investigate it once Viliam is done. Off to the side, Grandpa Peacock is trying to convince some of the soldiers that they didn't see Aurora using fire to open the doors.

Viliam invites Mother Morelle in, and Aaria, Zia, Niko, and Fred join. Aurora is upset that the rest of the party is there and takes Viliam aside to explain that she wanted to confirm details with Mother Morelle before speaking to the rest of the party, and that she wanted to speak to them one-to-one as she saw fit. Somewhat overwhelmed by the memories of the life she has lost, she then heads to her own chambers and breaks down sobbing. Viliam remains on the stairs, trying to figure out what to do.

The rest of the party pretend they weren't trying to listen in. While they wait for Aurora to return, Mother Morelle makes use of the baths.

Aaria takes the opportunity to confront Zia about Zia's multiple names and, supposedly, withholding her identity from Aaria. Zia tries to explain that most of what she knows now she only learned in the last few days. Aaria, still upset and distrustful, goes to pace around the baths.

Niko and Zia talk for a while, and Zia asks Mara if it's safe to reveal herself to this group. Mara, in her usual unhelpful manner, confirms that Cantata is safer for changelings than Fundat or Macawra.

Aaria returns and asks to speak to Mara. Zia acts as the go-between.

Viliam comes downstairs, shortly followed by Aurora. Aurora explains to the party that she's regained a lot of memories — some of which include Zia, Fred, and Niko — and that she would like to share bits of this with them one-to-one. She apologises to Aaria for having no memories of Aaria prior to meeting on this journey.

Aaria seems upset that everyone around her have more or less been confirmed to be champions or apprentices of champions, and Viliam offers to cast a spell to identify whether she might be one of them. Aaria agrees, and Viliam discovers a seed of divinity within her that indicates she may become the next Lord of Earth, as well as a divine heritage originating in Fundat. He asks about her parents and learns that her mother's name was Aamira — the same as the woman he once loved, a thousand years ago.

Aaria shows Viliam the box she has which contains her mother's possessions, including a ring with inscriptions along the inside. Viliam recognises this ring as a gift once given to Aamira.

Rattled, Viliam then turns to Niko to do the same spell on Niko, but Aurora asks him not to. Aurora apologises the Niko, but doesn't explain further in the moment. She suggests that it might be too dangerous for Niko to accompany them any further, but Niko is determined that one of the missing people — Rogan, Wish, Luca, and Adelaide — might be related to him, and that he'd like to find out.

Taking the opportunity, Zia then apologises to Aaria again and reveals to the party that she is a changeling called Koi, and shows the party her different personas and masks. Having a lot on her mind, Aaria goes back to pace by the baths.

Niko offers Koi Luna for emotional support, and Viliam tries to encourage her. Aurora asks Fred to join her upstairs for the first one-to-one conversation.

The voice of Tommyinnit ran through the speakers of your computer causing you to let out a chuckle that you were the reason for his outburst.

You were playing Gang Beasts on stream with some of your closest friends, and you had grabbed Tommy's character and thrown him off the map by picking him up.

Laughter rang out amongst the group as the screen card popped up saying your username won. You cheered as everyone groaned but dispersed into 'ggs' then that's when everyone started to bid goodnight. You hadn't realized it had been four hours of streaming and playing games, showing the good time you were having with friends.

"Alright chat, that's gonna be it for me today! Please remember to click the follow button if you're new to stream that way you'll know when I go live! byeee!" You did your outro, quickly closed your stream down, and logged out of Twitch.

It was an uneventful stream session, thank god. You’ve noticed more and more how your chat gets when you even mention wilburs name.

“you logging off completely y/n/n?” Ranboos voices asks through your earbuds.

��No, I’ll play a few more rounds if you guys are down,” you respond.

“HELL YEAH!” Tommy boasted. “IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS THIS TIME Y/N/N!”

“Oh, it’s on gremlin child!” you replied.

Wilbur listened to this conversation on his end, letting out a chuckle. He honestly doesn’t know why you make him laugh so easily. Anytime you threw a genius comment toward Tommy that was deemed insulting, or calling him a name Wilbur fell for you more and more. If only he had the guts to tell you.

You as well wouldn’t admit it but every time Wilbur laughed all you could feel was butterflies punching your stomach and a smile that made your cheeks hurt. You were also falling hard for him.

After about another fifteen minutes, Tommy and Ranboo had bid their goodbyes for the night and ended their calls. You were left in call with Wilbur, the silence could be cut with a knife.

Knowing him for two years was hard. Wilbur was everything to you. He was funny, smart, charming, and overall made you feel comfortable. Something you thought you’d never have with anyone. Having to only talk on call and video made things easier for you. On call you could hide your blushes and smiles from him, but not from your chat who caught every interaction between you and Wilbur when you streamed. The constant ’Wilbur x name confirmed?’ tweets and comments in your twitch chat were recently repetitive and you wondered when you became such a beacon of attention. It gave you such anxiety to have all eyes on you when you wanted to spend time with your best friend.

It was getting obnoxious to the point where you debated making a tweet to get the fans to stop shipping you both, even if you were dating it was no one’s business. Still you never dared to say anything out of fear of stans coming at you in anyway. You didn’t need to draw more unwanted attention to yourself.

“You logging off? it’s getting pretty late for you,” you spoke up.

“Yeah, we both should, by the way what times your flight tomorrow?”

Right, you were flying less than eight hours from now to finally meet your friends inperson. You all had planned this for months, booking hotels and flights, making a whole deal about it. Then you really wouldn’t be able to hide from him for a whole week.

“Around seven-thirty,” you reply.

He hums.

“I’ll let you get some rest, see you tomorrow night darling,” his voice purposely going lower on the ‘darling’ part that you almost didn’t catch it, making your knees go weak.

“N-night Will,” you stutter, end call and slump back into your desk chair trying to calm your racing heart. Meanwhile Wilbur all the way across the ocean in Brighton has a smile plastered across his lips.

About a plane ride, a train ride and car ride later, you are stood in the hotel lobby in Brighton waiting for a late Tommy and Wilbur to arrive. You were super nervous to meet them. Having only been friends for what was a short time, it felt like you knew them for years, so why was this so scary?

You debated in your mind about texting them to see if they were close by, but you didn’t want to come off as annoying and impatient. You wanted to make a good first impression, but again these were your friends. Why were you shaking with nerves?

You fiddled with your thumb’s absentmindedly until you felt a pair of hands on your shoulders, causing you to jump out of your skin. You spin around to be met with a cackling Tommy who is clucking his stomach from laughing so hard at your reaction.

“Fucking gremlin child,” you huffed under your breath, not realizing the evident blood rushing to your cheeks from being startled so easily.

“It’s nice to hear you say that in person,” a deep voice said from behind Tommy. You shifted your eyes to see a very tall Wilbur, who was wearing his round glasses pushed up his nose and curly hair fluffed to the side.

His dark sweater selves rolled up to revel his arms tucked into his side as he gazed at you with a soft smile. Finally after two years of being separated by seas, your best friend was standing right in front of you. It was surreal to say the least.

You laugh and jump forward to embrace him. The number of times you’d tease him over-call about his height made you regret your words. He towers over you as he bends down to your level to give you a long awaited hug. His arms are soft, yet firm as they wrap around your back and cage you into his embrace.

You both pull away, both grinning from ear to ear. He looks down at you with a hint of something behind his eyes, he seems to be genuinely happy to finally meet you in person. which makes you blush at the thought of him looking forward to this moment since you told him you wanted to come here. You're quickly brought out of your moment when Tommy speaks up behind you.

"So he gets a hug and I don't?!" his tone slightly offended.

"Yup, cause you're annoying," you bring a hand up to flick his forehead, causing him to let out a irritated noise. you had only just met him in person but something compelled you to do that. Maybe it was just a reason for you to break the ice and it was working because you all broke out into giggles.

“Im just kidding Tom,” you motion him into a hug.

Wilbur just stood observing the entire interaction between his two best friends. He was thrilled to finally have you here, he couldn't wait to show you all his favorite places, hang out, and get to know better in person. Finally.

The two boys had managed to drag you to the beach, and even though it was freezing Tommy insisted on going to the arcade to try and win another 'vlog gun'. After suffering through loosing a few games, Wilbur managed to win you a little stuffed cat that you promptly named Mr Whiskers.

It was endearing to watch him struggle at most of the games so he could get enough tickets. It was all worth it in his eyes to embarrass himself by losing ski-ball to you, twice, he saw the evident blush on your cheeks and the look you gave him. As if he hung the stars in the sky just for you. It made his chest hurt in a good way.

The rest of the night went smoothly for the most part. More and more, Wilbur had been getting more touchy with you. Though you didn’t mind it at all, maybe he didn’t realize how much he was putting his hand on you as you walked side by side as he led you through crowds. How he held doors open for you. It was sweet.

Maybe he was doing it just to be nice. That small voice in the back of your head telling you thats all it was. Because thats what friends do.

Eventually, the three of you met up with Ranboo and Charlie. They were just how they were online, which made meeting them a whole lot better. Walking around Brighton, making inside jokes and teasing each other. You hadn't been this happy in a while. You can remember the last time you genuinely enjoyed yourself, your friends were the product of that. You were fortunate to have found them when you did. Quarantine was hard on you, much like the rest of the world. So when you were invited to join a group game call, you couldn't pass up the opportunity. That night, something had clicked between you and Wilburt specifically. Then you started to join more calls with the gang and the rest was history.

Sometime in the night, you found yourself walking behind with Wilbur by your side chatting about nothing in particular. Until the comfortable silence filled the air between you, you took a moment to take in the nightlife of Brighton. The street lamps guide your way through the beachside and the pubs on the corner were starting to fill up. As if the city was somehow more alive at night.

"I'm really glad you came," Wilbur speaks, sincerely.

You stop your wide-eyed gaze to look at him and smile softly at him.

"I am too," You gush. "I'm honestly considering moving here,” Now he’s smiling.

Wilbur's brain starts to go a million miles a second. His heart leaped at the thought of you living closer to him. Seeing you in person everyday seemed like a dream come true. He begins to slow his step and a frown replaces your smile. Your own thoughts running rampant now, assuming you might've freaked him out by voicing that you wanted to move here so soon after meeting him in person. Maybe it made him uncomfortable. it was too soon to say something that bold. You had only just met him in person today.

"Listen, Y/N..."

You stopped and your brain got the best of you with his tone. You shouldn't have said anything like that to him. It was too soon.

“I don’t want to sound cheesy, but I need you to know how I feel.”

Oh... OH.

You knew what this was leading to. Realizing why he was acting the way he was all day.

"I like you, more than like you. You're funny, beautiful, smart, and everything I could've hoped for in a best friend. But I can't keep pretending I don't think of you when we aren't talking, or how when I look at you my chest hurts."

Wilbur liked you. Really liked you. You would jump for joy and shout to the rooftops about how much you reciprocate his feelings but something in the back of your mind told you not to. The doubt in your mind from yourself, both your fans online judging. It made you slowly start to panic. You felt as though you weren’t good enough for him.

You saw the aftermath of when his fans shipped him and Niki together. It almost ruined their friendship. You didn’t want that.

"Please say something?" he stops his rant to notice you are staring up at him with blank eyes.

"I-uh," you stutter. "can we maybe not do this now?"

His face falls and it instantly crushes you with regret. His disappointment shows as he gives you a forced smile and nods.

"Y-yeah, let's catch up with everyone, Tommy wants to do this big stream at his place." he gestures for you to move along with him, all while you feel horrible for doing this.

You wish you could take back what you said. You know you've hurt him, It's painfully obvious when he doesn't talk to you for the rest of the walk. You glance at him a few times but he keeps his eyes forward and stoic.

If only you didn’t let your anxiety get the best of you. You had to talk to him at some point, but for now you pushed it aside. The rest of the group didn’t seem to notice the sudden tension between the two of you, if they did nothing was remarked about it.

As you continued the journey to Tommys flat, you and Wilbur still walked silently side by side. With what little courage you had, you reached out your hand and held his in a moment of truce. Giving it a gentle squeeze with your fingers to seal the deal that you would talk later. You heard his soft inhale at the contact and he squeezes back. Your shoulders drop from the weight of tension being lifted off. Maybe, just maybe this ment this conversation wasn’t over.

Back at Tommy’s, the monitor in his cramped bedroom with everyone packed together like sardines; shows the twitch chat flashing by with viewers comments.

“WELCOME BACK TO THE STREAM EVERYONE!” Tommy shouted causing you to hold your ear in slight pain.

“God Tommy, could you be anymore loud?” you wince.

“Look who’s here chat!” he gestured to you with his hands, ignoring your complaints. You waved at the webcam as chat went crazy. He introduced everyone else as they all broke out into a chorus of conversation.

Wilbur was mostly quiet on your left, an occasional sarcastic comment made here and there. You could practically feel his eyes buring into the side of your head. Hopping chat wasn’t noticing how he was looking at you, your eyes shifting to your lap to fidget with your fingers.

Out of view, Wilbur reached over and took your hand picking at the skin around your nails. You had stopped your nervous tick and opted for squeezing his hand. Nobody seemed to notice the sudden shift in both your behavior.

Suddenly you felt tense, the feeling of having everyone’s eyes on you made your mind start to spiral.

Letting go of Wilburs hand, you quickly had excused yourself and walked out of Tommys room and into the kitchen.

Everyone had a mix of concerned and worried expressions as they watched you leave the room but didn’t say anything about it. Wilbur had followed you in pursuit. He found you in the kitchen hyperventilating Your panic had taken over and now your lungs were paying the price for the burning sensation from not breathing.

“it's okay,” he took your face into his hands and held you. “just follow my breaths.

he took a breath in, and you followed.

When you came to your senses, Wilbur had asked you what was wrong and you just began to cry. Everything came rushing down on you.

“Im sorry. I-Im sorry I shot you down earlier, Im sorry for h-hurting you. I-i,” you stuttered over yourself. Wilbur shakes his head at you. He probably thinks you’re such a mess.

“I don’t understand, I know you like me too, so I don’t understand why you rejected me after I poured my heart out to you. Then you go and hold my hand while we're walking.'

"Why darling? It's just me, your silly old Wil." he pokes at your sides causing you to let out a giggle. Your best friend, who looked at you with the prettiest chocolate eyes, who stayed on call with you all night when you couldn't sleep. The only person you told your deepest fears and dreams to.

You take a shaky inhale as you begin to explain. "I don't wanna ruin our friendship, we have something I've never experienced with anyone else in my life. I care about you too much to let me be a distraction in your life, and I am scared that the fans will-"

Wilbur interrupts you with a hand on your arm.

"The fans? darling who cares about that, I care way too much about you to even care about what strangers think. It's no one's business who I, or you for that matter have a relationship with." he clarified. "I love you and nothing or no one will ever change that."

Those three words made your heart leap in your throat.

"Y-you l-love me?" you stutter in disbelief.

"Yes, of course I do."

Tears roll down the apples of your cheeks as you lean forward to engulf Wilbur into another hug. His arms wrapped around your back reciprocating your embrace. your face buried in his neck as you inhale his cologne and your tears dampen his skin.

"I love you too Wil," you whisper.

He squeezes you closer to him in return and this time you don't hold yourself back...

Fox (ignoring him) Senator Stonk released the following statement yesterday that he will be proposing a bill that would have Clone Troopers forage for food on planet to bring down military budget expenses.

Fox (carrying on): when asked to clarify how that would work, Stonk had this to say: Our spending is out of control and we must come up with imaginative solutions. Many of the planets they are sent to have an abundance of flora and fauna. We should have them use the resources available. If they can destroy droids surely they should be able to find food sources.

Cody (blue screen of death face audible even in an audio format): wh..........

Fox: in response to the bill, Master of the Jedi Order Mace Windu had this to say: No.

He then gestured in tired exasperation to Clone Commander CC-411 who explained in great detail the pitfalls of having to feed an army of millions with this method. Windu's initial response has become a reaction 'gram on the holonet that has been shared three billion times and has sparked numerous mocking posts towards the proposed bill on SX (The stream formerly known as space twitter). I'll put the 'gram in the show notes.

Many of the bill's initial supporters loudly insisted they were never going to vote it through if it came up in session. Senator Stonk's press secretary claims that this is all a joke taken out of context and the Senator had no intention to actually propose such a bill.

Wolffe: that's too bad. I like the idea of hunting.

Cody: yes, but to feed your entire battalion?

Wolffe: oh no, I meant the senators. I would hunt them.

Even after the Magical duel the previous night Minthe got very little sleep and woke before the sun. She spends these early hours installing an intercom system throughout the house, somehow without waking her fellow housemates, and making breakfast. Once everything is ready she calls everyone into the kitchen using the new smart home upgrade.

Elia: I've been living here for years and never knew there was an intercom! How did you find it?

Minthe: There wasn't, I built it this morning.

Kevin: What? How?

Minthe: It wasn't difficult. I found evidence of a previous occupant starting the process and with the components I found in a storage bin, I was able to complete it.

Isiah: I knew I should have gone to bed naked last night.

Elia: ISIAH!

Isiah: I was kidding! Sheesh doesn't anyone understand jokes anymore?

Kevin: So you're telling me that you continued a home upgrade and made breakfast for all of us this morning? Did you even get enough sleep?

Minthe: Yes. I got a sufficient four hours. I was too wired to get a proper full night's rest unfortunately but worst case scenario I will take a quick nap between classes. Would anyone care to join me at the commons to study together? Say five o'clock? We should all be done with classes then, right?

Kevin: I'll be there

And everyone else voiced their agreement to the study session as well.

Micah: COFFEE! I love you Minty!

Minthe: The gratitude is appreciated. There is also some Dandelion Tea in the pot beside the stove if anyone else would like some.

Kaylee: I'll have me some of that!

Isiah: Damn! A man could get used to this!

Braden: What? You expecting to find someone to be your perfect little house-spouse and take care of you?

Kaylee: Minthe is not going to do this everyday. Just be grateful she did this for us this morning.

Isiah: She might when we're married.

Minthe: Woah! Who said anything about marriage?

Micah: Isiah is still planning on courting you Minty.

Minthe: But . . . Is . . . I don-

Isiah: Uh-uh don't count me out just yet. I'll wear you down eventually.

Elia: Enough! Hurry and go get dressed for the day everyone, I want to take a picture of you all for your first day.

Everyone files out to their respective bedrooms and then pose on the stairs per Elia's request. Just before Elia snaps the photo Kevin wraps an arm around Minthe and pulls her in closer to his side.

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share my latest part-time career with you all - the Army Reserve - Military Working Dog (MWD) Handler! I remembered reading a Criminal Minds fanfic where one of the characters joined the Army Reserve so I thought 'yeah that could work' and I wanted to do something different hence working with dogs! It's been fun creating this one as I had to dig out a cc I created a year ago for the uniform of this career.

I decided to stick with Athletic skill only for this part-time because this branch of the military mostly focuses on training with military dogs. As much as I wanted to include dog training skills, unfortunately that is locked to pets in the game. It may be possible but it is outside of my current skillset as it would require delving into scripting or modding. You can adopt a dog and train it, though training sessions will only occur outside of work hours. However, if you enjoy roleplaying like I do, I typically adopt a dog and train with them in the park after work. Regarding the custom content I mentioned earlier, I have included two files in the Download section above: Army Shirt Male and Army Shirt Female. These should be placed in the Mods folder like any other cc and are required for the level 1 uniforms to appear in your game. The shirts are simple t-shirts with the word 'ARMY' written on the front, and I owe huge thanks to the tutorials and references I found (links provided below in the Credits) for helping me complete them. The Army Shirts are exclusively available for the Army Reserve - MWD Handler career and are disabled for random outfits as well as maternity wear. I have included both individual files and a bulk download option depending on your preference. RAR files can be opened by third-party applications such as WinRAR or 7-Zip. If you do not have these applications yet, you can refer to this link for the download links. As stated above, you will need NRAAS Careers Mod for these careers to show up in the game and as long as you have the latest version of it, it should work for higher patches.
