Well since tomorrow night I will most likely be sedated after eye surgery, here is a #previz for something I want to shoot on my #4x5 inspired by the work of Irving Penn. 2020 has been rough for all of us, and I've had to push back one project and want to shoot another. I had the pleasure of being invited to shoot the new #fujifilmxt4 and to share how seamless its integration is with #captureonepro for both a tethered and untethered workflow. . Of course as a Fashion & Beauty photographer and during the Covid-19 lockdown, I had no access to models or creative teams.... so my lovely 5 year old daughter Lilian was my model for this fun fine art shoot. . It was my pleasure to do a live webinar with Fujifilm and @david_at_capture_one from Capture One Pro, to show a little BTS of my shoot along with my workflow with a quick edit, in capture one pro, of one of the final images. So what to do in #quarentine? Well I tested out #setalight3d pro studio simulation software. Basically this package allows you to test out various lighting setups using a virtual studio. You can use the lighting there or add your own via the various tools in the software. This is a #3pointlighting setup using a #godoxad600 and two #yn560iv with various modifiers and gels. Playing around some more in Set.A.Light 3D Pro and again here is another 3 point lighting example. Of all the photography "helper" software I've tested and reviewed over the years this is the most useful and best product I've seen yet.
