02022022. Since we cant go for visiting due to our family size, I decided to bring the family to the newly opened @i12katong . Some of the eateries and supermarket are opened for business but many of the shops are still work in progress. Spent a while here exploring the place and busy taking pictures of the girls. After Katong, we headed to @parkwayparadesg and as usual many shops were not opened due to CNY. Nevertheless we did have fun shopping and the girls got to purchase a toy from @toyr.us using credits that they won from a colouring contest. Basically just an ordinary CNY day with the family! 30012022. Brought the girls out to buy their CNY dress that they need to wear on Mon. Everywhere is unbelievable crowded in Chinatown especially the chinatown market. 09012022. First weekend outing with the family. First Japanese food of the year! Had lunch at @genkisushisg . We had to split table since we had more than 5pax. We were reminded not to communicate with each other and we were purposely arranged to seat far away from each other. Nevertheless, we still had an enjoyable lunch. 01122021, After almost 2 years, we were finally able to meetup for a meal. Thankful that everyone made effort to meetup. Thankful that all are well! Thankful that all are leading a happy if not happier life. We had quite a quiet dinner this evening due to covid but frankly I quite like it this way rather than the noisy environment where tables try to outshout each other in order to be heard. Food here is quite ok but the service is excellent. The guys here were truely very efficient and attentive to the customer's needs. Thank you to all the staff who were on duty that evening! You have made our dining experience even more pleasant and memorable! Cannot imagine time past so fast and we spent almost 4h just eating and chatting and learning from each other's rich experiences.
