i genuinely think it’s HILARIOUS Colin still has no idea Penelope has feelings for him 😭 like in the book he knew she liked him at one point and he just tried to push it away, so it makes all his scenes in the show more -crazy- to me. Alexis Bellino is Filming RHOC!

When it rains, it pours for Shannon Beador. Not only is Alexis Bellino dating her ex. She’s also filming for season 18 of RHOC!

Alexis was a housewife on RHOC for four seasons during season 5-8 and is probably best known as “Jesus Jugs”, as Tamra Judge called her.

She was on the show with Tamra and Heather Dubrow. And she has been seen filming with Heather and Emily Simpson.

The fact that they were with Emily surprised me a little bit since things weren’t great between her and Heather at the reunion.

But Emily has joined the Two Ts in a Pod series and is doing Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.

Are Emily and Tamra getting closer?

Tamra and Shannon are feuding as Tamra backed out of their Tres Amigas tour, and Tamra understands that bringing Alexis on the show might be good TV.

And Emily isn’t exactly shy about direct and messy questions. If she can smell a story, she will follow it shamelessly.

It is strange that Shannon’s ex, John Janssen, who’s supposedly didn’t like the limelight, left Shannon for another housewife.

There’s an interest here.

According to Emily, Alexis was under a lot of pressure while she was on RHOC because of her marriage to Jim Bellino and couldn’t really be herself.

Alexis had also been hesitant to return to RHOC as she didn’t want to kick Shannon while she was down, but she did decide that she would no longer feel guilty for her relationship with John.

And Shannon is going to lose her mind.

She had multiple meltdowns after she learned that the women were talking about her relationship with John last season.

And she has never reacted calmly and collected.

And she must work overtime to make Alexis irrelevant to the show if she wants to avoid her.

Emily, Heather, and Tamra have invited Alexis back onto the show. Who’s going to be Shannon’s ally in season 18?

Well, it certainly won’t be Gina Kirschenheiter, who was furious with the way Shannon was talking about her DUI and her children last season.

i really want a fic of eddie realising him and buck have been falling in love the entire time.

I keep seeing posts (and even had someone tell me) that it’d be unrealistic for Eddie to be in love with Buck and not realise. Like not even think of him as an option. 

But that’s such a real queer person thing- i’ve lived that experience. I’m a women and despite all the times I admired other women it took forever for it to click for me.

I mean I grew up with accepting parents and kind friends and even queer people on tv. I remember looking at girls as much as I looked at boys. And yet I still had the reoccurring thought “I could be gay, I mean i’m not- but I could be. But most people aren’t gay and i’m most people”. (gay being used here in my head to mean “not straight”) AND YET despite it all I didn’t realise i was Bi until I was much older.

And even then, I’d had at least two long term crushes without realising they were crushes before it clicked. 

(I kid you not- it took a drag queen talking to me like i was a toddler for it to click, but that’s a whole other story SO-) 

Whether or not Eddie already knows he’s gay (or demi or whatever) doesn’t really make a difference, cause it’s that same sort of heteronormative internalising that causes these feeling to not be understood. 

Especially for Eddies character who’s had this messy norm with Shannon for so long, a stable thing to grasp (even when their relationship was a mess) and then her death and him chasing to find that weak grasp to SOMETHING again- something that can be another excuse to not go looking for himself. 

Like he’s internalised this behaviour of, “if i’m in a relationship, I don’t have to look deep and figure out why it’s not working” and never quite realising that maybe the reason it’s not working is cause he’s trying to replace something that was never really real.

(Speaking of, Eddie and Shannon are the epitome of loml by taylor swift. I mean- “we were just kids babe” “from one kiss to getting married” “something counterfeits dead” “what a valiant roar, what a bland goodbye” “i’m combing through the band of lies- “i’ll never leave” never mind”) 

babe you are speaking to the POSTER CHILD of raised in a religious household and convinced themselves they weren’t queer until it was staring them in the face

the biggest issue is that most (again i said most before yall try to jump down my throat) of the people who are against buddie are either straight people who don’t understand the nuances of queerness, or queer people who didn’t grow up in environments of oppression and have never felt the need to hide themselves

i used to tell my parents i had crushes on girls only to later realize that it was because i just had a genuine platonic connection with them (two of whom are my best friends and are also queer women) and i used to get confused about what the difference between attraction and admiration was— something a LOT of queer people go through without realizing.

comphet is literally such a widespread phenomenon that people truly don’t realize just how common it is— like even queer people don’t realize they probably know several “straight” people who are still lying to themselves bc sexuality isn’t black and white— it exists on a spectrum. I’m not saying that to invalidate anyone’s straightness, im just saying i know multiple men who are my dads age (60s +) who only recently came to the realization that they were gay.

it’s genuinely so disappointing to see some of the people in this fandom pushing homophobic talking points from history just to disprove a character’s implied queerness bc they view that character’s queerness as a threat to their ship.

anyway, i agree eddie and shannon’s relationship is soooooo unconscious lavender marriage coded to me and there are SO MANY beautiful TS lyrics that apply to that… another song that i really feel like captures Eddie’s pov of the relationship is Home by One Direction… especially these lyrics:

Listen I’m all for different opinions and everything but sometimes the opinions I see……I’m seeing a whole bunch of people say one of the refreshing elements of debling’s character was he was always honest in his feelings of Penelope???? But like so is Colin WDYM and in deblings case…….ya easy to do when u have NO romantic feelings towards her and will quite literally bail at the first sign of her having feelings for somebody else DKM.

Like I feel so genuinely out of my mind bc isn’t that……the beauty of Colin??? He too is honest and in his case it’s actually SCARY, daunting even, he has no clue Penelope loves him romantically and yet it will haunt him to not tell her, haunt him she might choose a loveless empty marriage with a dude who will leave her without being aware he could be a better option for her. I just find it insane (like yes i get it we have only seen half a season) that people keep trying to make it seem that debling was some good mature honest human and Colin was a teenage boy denying his feelings and stringing Penelope along. The Producers Didn’t Know About Monica?!

Andy Cohen proclaimed that they never would’ve hired Monica Garcia if they knew that she’d been involved with a fake fan account.

She on the other hand claims that she did told production before filming.

After Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow accused Andy and Bravo of tricking the women by planting Monica on the cast, the producers had to do something.

Lisa said at the reunion:

“You guys brought her on knowing she wanted to fucking take every single one of us out, and no one gives a fuck.”

If there’s one thing the reunion proved, it’s that the door is closed for Monica. Instead of explaining herself, she only seemed to make it worse for the women.

Maybe they took such an immobilizing stand on Monica because they didn’t want anybody to perpetuate her actions and behaviour.

This wasn’t funny to them.

The executive producer on the show, Lisa Shannon stated in an interview with Variety that they never would’ve risked losing the trust of the cast:

And that’s a fair point.

If production knew, they would’ve helped Monica to explain herself to the women better. Instead, it ended in an ambush in Bermuda.

Monica still claims that she told the producers, though.

On Two Ts in a Pod, Monica claimed that the producers she had talked about the account to were producers of season 3 and not season 4.

How convenient. But why didn’t she say that sooner?

Did she change her story after Andy claimed that they never would’ve hired her if they knew?

to give a bit of a ~preview~ there’s a whole lot of Bucky x Kennedy and Annie x Brady pieces that will be coming out which make me incredibly excited!!!! A lot of pieces will probably been ‘in the Stalag’ focused, with a few focused on the time before that because well 😉 i love a piece or two that focus on before ~feelings are really considered~ hehe!

i have a prompt for Kennedy x Bucky that i am SO wanting to have it in early days of everything with Silver Bullets, and for it to be something where we get a glimpse into what those first few ~possible~ feelings they might’ve had for each other (that they shoved away) so i am super excited for that!!!!

also have a piece that will focus on Annie and Brady that has already made me !!!!!! and 😭 so…..yeah :) basically listening to sad TS songs can really change the course of a prompt. it’s a lot of Annie’s internal monologue just looking at Brady (and my heart breaks so!). Annie feels a lot towards him so it’s valid :’)

AND — there is a possibility i’ll be using one of the prompts i received for the Annie x Brady reunion in the Stalag that i mentioned a couple weeks back 👀👀👀 so there’s THAT to look forward too!!!! :)

i have two people that requested the SAME prompt for the SAME DUO (and that also happened a *second* time for a *second* duo as well!) and i just love how people are feeling the vibes for couples based on prompts and it’s seeming to resonate around haha!!!!

i can just very humbly say i’m very thankful and excited for what has been sent in and so excited to get to writing during the second half of the weekend (long shift today lmao)! SO!!!!!! be on the lookout in the coming days — things will be rolling out no doubt! 😉
