Last night, I watched Little Women (2019) for the first time and I'm not even going to go into my opinion on that movie as a movie or an adaptation, but suffice it to say the 1994 adaptation reigns supreme.

Anyway, a very funny and surreal experience was seeing Eliza Scanlen, who I have only seen in Sharp Objects and thus exclusively associate with the character of Amma Crellin, play Beth March, the sweetest, shyest, and mildest-mannered of the March sisters.

I mean, she did a great job with the role, but the mental shift I was forced to make was jarring to say the least.
