I know normally you prefer things to be answered for Shay but this is for you (even tho I’m still tagging shaynilla because you know it works!!) 

Ice loves listening to you talk more about yourself and your interests. Even when you feel like maybe you might be talking too much or annoying him, he always reassures you that he wants you to go on and continue with what you were saying. He’s such a good listener, because he wants to learn everything about you. His memory is quite good as well, he remembers small details about you... Sometimes he even surprises you because you don’t think he’d remember so many things about you. He’s always so encouraging when it feels like you’re doubting if you should keep talking about your interests, he keeps asking you questions and is an active listener making sure to ask you questions about the subject you’re talking about since he’s always invested in what you have to say.

strawberry — before getting together, how did your f/o realize they had a crush on you? how did they act around you once they realized they were head over heels?

oh my god he was a mess. shay and nilla were friends before they were lovers, and i'm not sure exactly how to explain it so i'll have to come back to that one later fggfngfh how he acted? terrible. they both did. he didn't want to accept his feelings which put him in this really weird mindset any time they were around each other — he refused to look her in the eye and could barely hold a conversation without just,,, i'm not sure how to explain it but just arguing with each other before one day he 'snapped' - it sounds worse than it is, but i'm getting off topic, so that's a story for another day

i might've already mentioned it, but shay and vanilla are really touchy-feely. one way that vanilla shows affection is to come up behind her and squeeze her, much like he would when she's upset, and nuzzle his face into her hair, mostly because it makes her laugh 🥺

lemon sorbet — does your f/o get jealous easily?

is the sky blue? /j he's not that bad fgbhfg nilla tries not to be too bad about it, but it really comes out whenever anyone tries flirting with shay (which she never responds to positively), then he's understandably gonna be jealous

raspberry swirl — how does your f/o cheer you up when you are feeling down?

to preface this one, it's very obvious when shay is upset; she's much quieter than she usually is, sometimes even borderline nonverbal. she doesn't bother with her makeup or any of her hair routine, so she'll just be moping around with a bare face and flat hair... plus the depression sweatpants. upon noticing that something is clearly wrong, vanilla will embrace her tightly (but not tightly enough to squish her) and just hold her for a few moments. if that doesn't work, he'll pick her up and carry her somewhere to snuggle the sad out of her since that usually works. said snuggle usually consists of nilla holding shay close to his chest and stroking her hair with the occasional forehead kiss — that usually works.

idk if you've talked about this yet but what were vanilla ice's and shay's first impressions of each other?

oh boy 😳 i might have briefly mentioned it once upon a time, but i don't think i've ever posted it or any ship lore honestly hdbhdf on tumblr,, but anyway, their first impressions weren’t the greatest.

i'll preface by saying that they met in the mansion after she fled to cairo while she was on the run for murder — i have a bit more lore about that, but it's another thing for another day — anyway, prefacing done ;w;"

seeing as shay literally walked directly into him and then told him to watch where he was going even tho it was her that wasn't paying attention and to "square up", vanilla thought that she was a bit... unhinged, as well as shouty and admittedly he didn't like her very much because of that.

shay was already on edge from everything that'd happened to her in the past two days (which a 14 hour flight did not help) when they met, so she didn’t think much of him honestly besides “THREAT 👁👁” /hj – it was dark and she didn’t see him so she panicked when he spooked her. she was cringing about her reaction for the rest of the day.
