#Killie#Killie and Derek#it’s fine and normal to think about Pippa all the time#when Irish trad singer Christy Moore has his song Ride On#describing his affair and breakup with a jockey who is widely presumed but shouldn’t be assumed to be a woman jockey#he describes a person who has eyes wild and green#and is between 16.1 and 16.2 hands high which is horse height for 5’5 or 5’6#Pippa is not that tall because she cannot be taller than me that would be wrong#she is about 5’ so slightly taller than Killie and a body double with Hollie Doyle#but her eyes are wild and green like the jockey.#oh! Apparently this is a Jimmy McCarthy song!#Interesting to know#because he was an apprentice jockey before he was a singer#and the jockey is based on a true story of a jockey who dumped Jimmy#which would have been one of the earliest female professional jockeys in Ireland and the UK so probably an interesting women#worth chasing I would think. but he told her to go ahead without him.#anyway that is the Killie/pippa song and why Pippa has green eyes which is basically the only non-brown eye colour in TYHO.#ride on - see you.
