Waezi2′s thoughts on “Beast Complex” chapter 24.
Paru is back at it again!
Meet South the Iguana.
South is a twenty-nine year old lizard. Saying he is an alcoholic might be an exaggeration... but he very much have an alcohol problem. Having sensitive skin and living in a very warm area, South needs to stay hydrated, but he choose to mainly drink beer instead of water. Partly because of how it affects his skin but also o make it easier for him to not think about his problems.
But then his excessive drinking is cock-blocked by a penguin inside the beer fridge... Still not the weirdest thing I ever wrote.
Yeah, a baby penguin somehow ended up in the store where South gets his favorite brand of beer. To stay cool in the very warm area South lives in, the little guy is now inside the beer fridge and refuse to leave. Begrudgingly, South takes the little penguin to his small apartment so the shop can stock up on beer again.
Having a guest in his home for the first time in ages, South realize that his place is not just dirty, it is rather empty. He sleeps on a mattress, has a fridge for his beer and food and a microwave oven for his meals. His home is about as pathetic as he is.
As South thinks about how his life is kind of a fart, we learn something... shocking about this iguana.
Something that you have never seen before in Beastars OR in Beast Complex. Something so odd that you might find it revolting. It will make you wonder if Paru was even more unhinged than she normally is while making this comic!
You see, South...
... was in a relationship with a female WHO IS THE SAME SPECIES AS HIM!
Trust me, dear reader. I'm as shocked as you are! A Beast Complex character who was NOT dating an animal completely different from them?!
What madness is this?!
Okay, seriously speaking.
We get some good ol' Paru symbolism as we see that South's life has for a while revolved around his fridge. Or rather, what is inside it. It got out of hand to the point that his (same-species?!?!?) girlfriend dumped him and his boss feeling so sorry for him that he makes him take a break instead of downright firing him.
So South drinks when he gets anxious. But his increasing drinking makes him more anxious, which results in him drinking even more, making him more anxious and so on. As he thinks about his boss and ex, he once again gets "thirsty" and practically tears his fridge oepn.
South would probably end up as a drunken waist... if not for his new "roommate."
See, the thing about depression is that you often ends up alone, either because the people around you lose their patience or you choose to be alone. And when you are alone with a minimum of interaction with the real world, you stop caring about the small things like cleaning your home, a proper diet and your economy.
Best thing to do is actually to be useful somehow. Like doing voluntary work or getting a pet. Or in this case, a penguin in your fridge. If you are of use for someone else, you feel a little better about yourself.
And that's what South is to the baby penguin he has named Sam(a reference to the Japanese word for "cold"). The two of them can't really talk since Sam is a sea animal and has a entirely different language.
Whenever South has his panic attacks and go for a beer, he is instead met by the fluffy little bird in the fridge. So South has to clean the fridge for penguin poop and also spend extra hours in his part-time job since he spends more money on electricity because of Sam being inside the fridge. As the days pass, South finds himself acting like, well... a functional adult.
One day, South gets a reason to panic again as he realize that Sam is losing his white coat and looks skinny instead of fluffy.
If you know a thing or two about penguins, then you will know that there is nothing to worry about. But South knows jack shit about these birds, so he rush him to a hospital on his bicycle.
On their way, they pass the ocean... and we get this majestic moment.
There was nothing to worry about, Sam is just growing up and losing his fluff, finally ready to leave his nest and get in the ocean.
A pair of dolphins are luckily near and South has managed to learn to speak a little sea language so he can ask the dolphins to escort the young penguin to Antarctica.
Despite Sam having left his apartment, South still have a little of Sam in his fridge as the penguin sends him letters on pieces of ice.
So South's life still revolves around his fridge so to say, just in a much healthier way.
This was such a nice tale about a guy rebuilding his life by having to be dependent for someone else.
... Even if South is a freak, dating a fellow iguana. BE A FURRY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, SOUTH!
I'm Waezi2, and thanks for wasting time with me.

Mommy?
Single dad!Carmen x reader
Carmen's daughter likes you and doesn't know the meaning of the word 'no'.
~~☆☆☆~~
You stepped into the sandwich place, your laptop bag slung around your shoulder as something collided with your leg and clinging to it.
"Oh shit, sorry I- she slipped away from me." A man apologises for the little child around your leg, lowering himself to her level and tiredly begging her to let you go.
You took a better look at the toddler at your side. She had the man's curly hair and wore a fluffy teddybear onesie.
The man in front of you was tired. No question about it and his attire told you he worked here.
"Hey, you know what?" His focus moves from the child up to you. "How about I watch her for a bit? I'm planning on getting some work done here anyways and I'll probably be around when your shift ends." You shrugged at your own suggestion, placing a hand on the child's curls making her giggle at you.
"I uh- my shift ends a couple hours after we close." He wasn't declining your offer, he just didn't want you to waste your whole day here. He had gotten up again by now to talk to you at eye level. "I'm Carmen." He extends a hand to you to shake. "I own this place. And this here's Alex," he motions at the babbling todddler who was now casually hanging from your hand. "She's my kid. Daycare wouldn't take her cus she sneezed one too many times on drop off this morning." A tired hand runs over his face as he recalls why she's here.
"Hey, I'll watch her for you. Just come say hi a couple of times and we'll be good." You shoo'd him off and he went back to the kitchen. But not before making sure he got your food order and saying goodbye to his daughter.
Over the course of the day he swung by your table to watch you type away on your laptop while Alex was no doubt ruining your highlighters and scribbling on the back of your notepad. During food breaks she was in your lap and you'd watch some kids videos on Youtube with the sound low enough to not bother anyone.
Little Alex had been an absolute sweetheart the whole time, clinging to you and showing off her artworks that had rendered your notepad entirely useless.
Around dinnertime Carmen had come back again, insisting he'd be fine watching her himself now, but you assured him you were good and didn't mind staying the few extra hours. He accepted reluctantly and rought you two dinner on the house, dessert included.
When the placed closed down and Carmen was finished cleaning everything he came by one last time, to pick up his daughter and thank you again for watching her. You exchanged phone numbers in case he ever needed a babysitter.
Leaving was a lot more difficult than you had thought. Alex threw the biggest fit the second you turned to the door, running up to you and clamping herself around your leg, sniffling No's leaving her lips as she sat down on your foot with her arms around your calf. Tears staining your jeans.
Carmen stood there, a hand on his hip, pinching the bridge of his nose and sighing deeply. "Come on, teddybear. She's tired too, we're all going to our homes and sleep, okay?" He tried bribing, any and all promises he could think of, even physically prying her off your leg resulted in the biggest drama he had ever seen her make.
You felt bad for Carmen. The permanent bags under his gorgeous blue eyes and the mess of curls you wanted to run you-- "what if I tag along and put her in bed?" The suggestion seemingly came out of nowhere amd it took Carmen a moment to register your words.
His place was an even bigger mess than he was and he'd be ashamed if she saw Alex's living situation. But then again, he was a single dad with an extremely demanding job, so the mess did explain itself that way..
"Yeah, okay." A simple, soft answer that had Alex screech with joy.
The three of you made your way over to his car. Since Alex wouldn't let go of you, you carried her while Carmen carried your bag for you as well as his own.
His place wasn't big. But it was big enough for him and Alex. On your way through the livingroom you had to watch your step and not trip over the large amount of toys on the floor. The coffeetable held day old mugs and coffee circles permanently staining the wood. The dinnertable was covered in paperwork but the kitchen looked decent enough, besides the dishes in the sink.
Carmen could feel you judging him, trying to speed up the whole going to bed ritual Alex had so you could stop being grossed out by the mess.
After watching Carmen struggle with the currently very difficult child you stepped in and offered assistence.
Carmen stepped aside and mimiced his steps but in your own way. Suddenly she was the sweetest child ever and did everything you told her to.
"Are you serious? Now you can listen?" The soft complaint didn't go unnoticed and made you giggle as you tucked her in and wished her sweet dreams. Besides you Carmen leaned over to give her kisses and said goodnight as well.
"Why does she listen so well to you?" The question wasn't meant in a bad way, even though it sounded like jealousy. "Guess she just wants a mom." You answered from across the kitchen island. Carmen insisted you stayed for a drink and talk about your day with her. "Neither you or her ever uttered anything mom-related so I guessed it's just you two." You sounded like a prying therapist right now, but you meant it in a kind way.
Clearly both of you sucked when it came to words.
"Her mom was a drunken mistake." He downs half of his drink and decided right there he was gonna talk about it. If you deleted his number and walked out afterwards, so be it.
"I didn't even know she had a kid until kne day she stopped by the restaurant. I barely recognised her but she still made a whole scene about some mistake, dropped the carrier with a crying baby at my feet and shoved a stack of paperwork in my hands." He downed the other half of his drink, not liking how recalling those memories felt. "I barely knew her, only saw her twice before moving back here from New York and found me all the way here to drop the baby and all her papers stating I was the one responsible for her on me and leave after screaming at me amd blaming me for leaving."
Carmen's story shocked you. You sat in silence after he finished, not sure how to respond to such a confession, so you offered your help once more.
After a while babysitting Alex at work and tucking her into bed turned into babysitting, tucking her into bed and moving into the next one together with Carmen. His early shifts really messed up Alex's sleep scedule so he suggested you staying the night and working from his apartment and do Alex's morning routine at a more acceptable hour than 6am, when he's kiss you goodmorning, wish you some good few more hours of sleep and went off to work.
Carmen was enjoying your time together so much, and Alex was almost permanently attached to you when you were around so his only thought was how he was going to ask you to move in with him. You already had a spare key so giving you one of those in a fancy little box wouldn't work.
Eventually he thoight of an idea that just had to work.
He wrote a note from Alex's point of view, rolled it up and tied a little bow around it and handed it to his daughter. "Can you go give this to her, please? It's a gift."
Alex immediately ran over to you, waving the paper roll at you and smacking it against your leg. She mumbled a quick "foyou" before waving it up at you again.
You accepted the gift with a grand display of thanks, with kisses and a hug, a whole scene amd read the note in silence. You recognised Carmen's handwriting immediately and smiled your way throigh the creatively written sentences.
"So, you want me to be mommy, huh?" You asked Alex, but not without moving your stare up to meet Carmen's, who looked away quickly to hide his blush.
A string of Yes and Please and happy giggles were all the convincing you needed before agreeing to move into Carmen's apartment officially.

If You Bring a Friend to Dinner...
Kon eyed the multiple laptops Tim had scattered around himself as he lounged on the couch in the manor’s living room, not as hard as he was side eying Tim’s outfit, but he was still eying the technology situation hard. “Why are you researching this today? And why aren’t we doing this in the cave?”
“I’m bored and you know Bruce’s rule about suits in the cave,” Tim answered without taking his eyes off his screen except to switch to looking at a different laptop’s screen. “Also, I’m not changing.” He motioned to his quite comfy, oversized, fluffy dark hoodie, which gave the impression of an adult version of a toddler’s bear coat. The only thing it was missing was little ears on the hood.
“Lazy,” Kon scoffed and collapsed onto the opposite couch, feet hanging over the arm.
“Comfortable,” Tim corrected, now looking at the third laptop.
“You look ridiculous. You should be embarrassed,” Kon grumbled.
This finally made Tim stop and look up. “Of all the things I’ve done, this is what you think I should be embarrassed about? Buddy, this isn’t even in the top hundred this year alone,” Tim scoffed. “Besides, I'm not going to see anyone but you and my family today and I don’t care what any of you guys think.”
Kon opened his mouth to tell him that was probably a good thing because what he thought was that Tim look like a spoiled, sorority girl going through a bad breakup. But instead of passing on this vital knowledge, he snapped his mouth shut and lifted his head to angle it toward the rest of the manor. “No way,” he muttered under his breath.
Tim sat up straight, immediately switching to mission mode and scouring the Watchtower’s feed scanning for any crises popping up anywhere in the world. “What is it?” he demanded, his blood pressure steadily increasing with each negative result.
“No way,” Kon repeated again. He bolted up off the couch and flew out the door toward the west wing, moving so quickly, it was close to being literal. Tim rushed after him with absolutely no hope of catching him even if he hadn’t taken a few extra seconds to carefully displace his laptops.
Kon skidded to a stop at the end of the west wing’s hallway barely missing colliding into the two figures that had stopped in the middle of the hallway, the woman clearly didn’t let her significantly smaller stature hold her back as she stood staring up the other man, hands on her hips with a cocky smirk on her lips while the man didn’t look chastened in the least. The woman eeped and jumped back at the sudden intrusion while the man sighed heavily, the amused uptick to his lips dropping instantly. “What are you doing here?” he glowered.
“And good to see you too, Damian,” Kon grinned. He took a step to the side just in time to avoid Tim bowling into him as he rounded the corner but grabbed his arm to help him skid to a stop before running into the other two.
Damian leaned back and crossed his arms as he glowered at their dumbfounded stares. “Oh good, the peanut gallery.”
Tim and Kon would have responded any other time, heartily dished back the attitude Damian was giving them, but they were too dumbfounded at seeing Damian with a friend other than Jon, a female, non-hero friend, to really register his words.
The woman waited a few beats, looking back and forth between them before deciding to take matters into her own hands. She grinned at them and held out her hand. “Hi! I’m Marinette.”
Tim stared at the hand, still too dumbfounded to register what was going on. He leaned back closer to Kon, “What the fuck is happening right now?” He meant to whisper, and technically, he did, but it was still loud enough to travel crystal clear to both Marinette and Damian.
“It’s a hand… you shake it as a greeting,” she explained slowly.
Tim blinked a few times before he reached out and shook her hand woodenly. He looked over at Damian while still holding her hand, eyes wide in shock. “You brought someone home.” He didn’t realize he was still holding her hand until she chortled quietly at his astonished tone, only then letting go of her hand and offering her a sheepish smile.
“Obviously,” Damian retorted. He pretended to flinch when the woman elbowed him in the ribs and sighed dramatically. “This is my friend Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Marinette, this is…”
“She’s a gir…” Kon cut in. His eyes darted to Damian for just a second before returning to the woman in front of him. “You're a girl,” Kon stated to her, meeting her eyes with an incredulous stare as though she should understand why that was so problematic to his world view.
She straightened instantly and her eyes hardened. “Yeah, well spotted. Good job. Now do something impressive, like figure out what you are. I'm guessing cryptid,” she snapped with a coldness he hadn’t anticipated from someone dressed in so many pastels.
He blinked like he was really seeing her for the first time and leaned back to better view her with an assessing once over and raised an amused eyebrow as his lips curled up in a smile, “Nah, that's usually Tim. He dresses for it and everything,” he motioned toward Tim’s hoodie. “I’m a different type of legendary beast.” He waggled his eyebrows at her. “I’m more one of the tall, sexy creatures that visit maiden’s dreams.”
“No, you aren’t,” Damian declared.
Marinette crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back, her eyes narrowing. “Like a Liderc maybe,” she scoffed.
Kon hummed in mock consideration and took a step closer to her. “Is a Liric…”
“Liderc,” she corrected.
“… tall and sexy?” he finished leaning closer to her.
She pushed him back with a smirk and a finger to his chest. “Not exactly… more like a little superhuman…”
“Supernatural,” Damian corrected quickly. He shook his head curtly for Tim without bothering to look over and see the questioning glance he knew must be on his face.
“…creature,” she continued without acknowledging Damian’s interruption with a nonchalance indicative of well-established prior experience, “hatched out of a pod…” Her smug expression dropped and her eyes unfocused for just a second before she turned to Damian, missing the way Kon’s face froze, “pod?”
“Egg,” Damian answered. He waited until she’d turned back to Kon before meeting Tim’s eye this time and curtly shaking his head. Tim raised his eyebrows higher and bobbed his head incredulously. Damian subtly shrugged then nodded. Tim’s face stretched in an impressed glower as he returned his attention to the conversation between Marinette and Kon with a renewed interest.
“…egg…” she continued oblivious to the silent conversation behind her, her smug expression fully back in place.
“Pod was more accurate,” Tim snickered just loudly enough for Kon to hear. Kon huffed and shoved his head away.
“…that flies around and attaches itself to single women,” she finished.
Tim doubled over, the sound of his roaring laughter echoing down the long hallway. Even Damian grinned at her description and Kon’s flabbergasted expression. “I thought…” Tim stopped to gasp for breath and grabbed onto Kon’s shoulder for support, “I thought you hadn’t met her yet. She seems to know you pretty well.” Kon scowled and shoved his hand off his shoulder, taking a small measure of enjoyment from Tim almost falling over with the loss of support.
“It also helps form the Hungarian word for nightmare,” Damian added with a smirk.
“See, there you go, she thinks you’ll visit her dreams,” Tim chortled and patted Kon’s chest. “Sounds like you were right after all.”
Damian’s smirk quickly dropped. “There will be no dream guest appearance except between us,” Damian insisted. He tugged Marinette a bit closer and into his side, moving her further away from Kon. “Let me know when Jon arrives.” Marinette glared at him pointedly. “I will not say ‘please’ no matter how hard you stare,” he stated, deftly avoiding her eyes and starting to move them out of the hallway.
“I’m not your assistant,” Tim growled. Damian stopped and raised an eyebrow at him and smirked. “You got something to say?” Tim asked sharply.
“Oh, I finally get to meet Jon?” Marinette asked, a bit louder than necessary for their proximity, and moved between the two, directly into Damian’s line of sight.
“Yes,” he confirmed as he finally lowered his eyes from the broken staring contest. His face softened as he continued moving them out of the hallway again. “He will be here in a little bit. He said he had something to do first, then he’ll be over and will stay until the New Year’s party tomorrow. He was quite excited to meet you as well.”
She quirked her head to the side slightly. “Will he be here in time to…”
“He will indeed,” he cut in sharply. He frog marched her away from the bedroom wing and toward the east wing before she could ask anymore questions.
“Wait! Damian, you haven’t introduced us!” Marinette objected and tried to turn around toward the men but had to settle for vaguely motioning over her shoulder. “I don’t even know their names.”
“Yes, good observation,” he praised with only a hint of condescension in his voice and a bit more force in his hands.
“Damian!” she tried to twist to smack his chest but his hands were unyielding. “That’s rude. I don’t want to start out by being rude to your family.”
“First, they are not both family,” he scoffed. “Second, you called one of them a Lidrerc and I’m being rude?”
“Yes! That’s different. And you know it,” she huffed.
He eyed her skeptically but shook it off. “Third, I tried and they interrupted. It is their fault if they did not get a proper introduction. Fourth, and most importantly, they are a waste of our time and attention, and I assure you they will not think of this as a reflection on you.”
“Damian!” She gasped and succeeded this time in twisting under his arm to confront him.
The only concession Damian was willing to give to indicate how impressed he was with her ability to break free from his grasp was a raised eyebrow. The rest of his face remained stoic, if a little exasperated. “I’ve known them for almost 10 years now. I stand by my evaluation,” he intoned as he turned her around again and continued to push her down the hallway.
“I’m so sorry,” she called over her shoulder as she attempted to give them a parting bright smile and wave.
“I’m not,” Damian called just as loudly but without taking his eyes off the path ahead of him.
Tim scoffed and shook his head at their retreating backs. “He brought someone home… a girl… and she seems…nice… and normal… and nice,” he murmured incredulously.
“Oh, she seems very nice,” Kon agreed, watching just as intently, but focusing considerably more on one of them in particular.
Tim smacked him in the chest. “No,” he ordered sternly.
“What?” he asked in mock innocence that he couldn’t have pulled off even fresh out of the pod.
“Damian’s friend… well, friend. You know, I’m not sure what that is,” he motioned vaguely toward the east wing, “but you will not interfere. Damian doesn’t make friends. This is big.”
“I haven’t done anything… yet.” He winked at Tim and started back toward the living room.
“Kon…” Tim started warningly.
“Come on, I’m not going to intentionally hurt him no matter how much of an ass he usually is.” He grinned devilishly back at Tim. “Tell you what, you go start the research on her we both know you’re going to do, and I’ll grab some food from somewhere. I can tell you what I heard them talking about when I get back and why he brought her.”
Tim sighed and jogged to catch up with him, smacking him upside the head as soon as he did. “Stop listening in on people’s conversations outside of missions. It’s creepy.” They made it all the way back to the living room before he broke. “But since you heard it already, tell me everything when you get back.”
Kon grinned and shrugged on his jacket. “I’ll bring back Batburger. That feels like a spilling the tea kind of food.”
><><><><><><><><><
“I know where the art room is, you know. I don’t need an escort,” Jon pointed out as he followed closely behind Kon and Tim on their way down the east wing’s hallway.
“Oh, we’re not escorting you,” Tim corrected. He met Jon’s eyes over his shoulder with a look that did not comfort Jon at all.
“We’re tagging along,” Kon clarified, giving Jon the same look, which was considerably more concerning for Jon when coming from Kon.
Jon eyed them suspiciously. “Why?”
“Curiosity,” Tim answered at the same time Kon said, “Interest.”
Jon’s eyes narrowed further. “Uh huh. That’s not fishy at all. I’m not remotely concerned now,” he grumbled.
“Nah, I researched her,” Tim assured him. He moved to the side and slowed his pace just a fraction to match Jon’s. “She’s clean. Seems like a good kid. Might even be good for Damian.”
Jon nodded unsure how to respond to Tim’s candor. “Good, well, that’s… that’s good.” He started to say more, to compliment Tim on looking out for his brother but before he could figure out how to form the words, Kon snorted.
Tim raised an eyebrow. “What?”
Kon waved him off like it was nothing, but the tightening of his jaw indicated otherwise. “Nothing. She's just complementing the composition and contrasts of his art and how talented,” he spit the word out like it personally offended him,“and he is absolutely preening at it.”
Jon smiled. “It’s good to know she’s supporting him. He really likes her, which of course he won’t say, but he talks about her a lot.”
“Really? I hadn’t heard anything until today,” Tim noted curiously.
“Not too surprising,” Jon shrugged. “Doesn’t really tell you anything about his life, does he? Dick maybe, but you…” He let the sentence trail off. They both knew what Tim and Damian’s relationship was.
Tim grunted a sound similar to an agreement but suddenly smacked Kon upside the head. “And stop listening in on other people's conversations. It's creepy.” They took a few steps before he leaned slightly toward Kon and lowered his voice as though Jon couldn't still hear him and said, “But let me know if he does anything embarrassing.”
Kon grinned and nodded at him with a wink, but his face quickly dropped into a pout as he scowled at the door just a few steps down from them. Tim looked from Kon to the door slowly, suspicion permeating his expression as he slowly opened the art room door, fully expecting the worst, which is why the fluffy sight in front of him was such a relief.
Damian and Marinette were standing in front of one of his paintings, her head on his shoulder and his arm around her waist whispering to each other as she pointed to different points in the painting. Tim looked back at Kon as he stepped into the room and snorted at his deepened scowl at the sweet sight.
The noise knocked the two out of their little bubble, seemingly affecting Damian more than Marinette based on the speed at which he dropped his hand and jumped away from her, causing her to almost fall. He reached out to push her back into balance but instantly returned his hand behind his back and straightened up to his full height before them.
“Jon, it is good to see you. Glad you could make it,” Damian welcomed.
“Of course,” Jon said warmly and hugged Damian, which Damian allowed to happen, but didn’t return. “I’m here for you.”
“We didn’t get that greeting,” Kon chortled.
“No, we did not,” Tim agreed. “It’s almost like he doesn’t want us here.”
Damian glared at them over Jon’s shoulder. “It’s not almost like it,” he corrected curtly. He returned his attention to Jon and continued before they, or Marinette, could respond to or chastise him. “Jon, this is my friend Marinette. Marinette, this is my friend Jon.”
Marinette smiled brilliantly, lighting up the entire room, and hugged him. She backed away just far enough to not share breath. “It’s so good to meet you! I feel like I know you already. Damian talks about you all the time.”
Jon blushed deeply and shoved his hands in his pockets, looking away sheepishly. “Thanks. It’s really good to finally meet you, too. He talks about you all the time, too. Like non-stop. I can’t wait to spend time with you and get to know you better.”
Marinette, whose smile couldn’t get any bigger, got warmer instead. “Absolutely.” She kept his gaze for a few moments before shifting it over his shoulder to the two figures standing behind him and waved. “Hey again! Sorry we didn’t get to meet earlier, because Damian is rude,” she added pointedly with a glare to Damian added in, to which Damian shrugged unashamedly, “and didn’t introduce us. “I’m Marinette. I believe I heard your name is Tim?” she asked uncertainly, waiting until he nodded before continuing. “So, you must be Tim Drake, yes?”
“I am” he grinned and ventured further into Damian’s art room than he had ever been allowed to venture before to shake her hand. “Nice to meet you… officially.” As soon as she turned her attention to Kon, he smirked at Damian, fully enjoying the glare Damian was shooting him.
Marinette stepped closer to Kon and held her hand out. “And based on the leather jacket, that would make you Jason Todd?”
Kon sputtered and Tim burst out laughing. “Uh… no, not Jason,” Kon corrected.
Marinette’s face dropped almost as fast as her hand. “I am so sorry. It is nice to meet you...”
Kon stepped forward with a small smile and opened his mouth but before he could comfort her Damian pulled her back closer to him and tried to physically angle her toward Jon and main part of the room. “His name is unimportant,” he stated firmly, making no doubt that the conversation was over.
Jon shook his head, exasperation bleeding from his expression and tone. “It’s the holidays. Be nice, Dame.”
“I don’t see how the time of year should affect my behavior,” Damian sniffed.
Marinette dropped her head into her hands and let out an exasperated sigh. “Damian…”
Damian sighed heavily and rolled his eyes. “Fine. That is Jon's brother.” He tried to angle her toward the room again, but Kon took her hand before he could, moving so quickly, it was dangerously close to exposing his identity.
“Kon. My name is Kon. And it is really nice to meet you, Marinette.”
She raised her head slightly and looked up at him, causing her to look through her lashes to meet his eyes, unintentionally taking his breath away. “Nice to meet you, Kon.”
“No, it’s not,” Damian grumbled and pulled her away from Kon, settling her on his other side next to Jon instead. He turned to face Kon full on standing between him and Marinette. “We were in the middle of something.”
“We were just about to go play a game,” Marinette added, popping up over his shoulder.
“We were not.”
“I’d love to play a game,” Jon cheered. Marinette grinned brilliantly at him and clapped like the decision was made.
Damian groaned dramatically and motioned toward the hallway. “Fine. The game room is down the hallway.”
Marinette nodded and started toward the hallway but froze mid-step. “You have a room just for games?”
Kon chuckled, taking more pleasure than he should from the fact that she’d stopped directly in front of him. “Rich people,” he shrugged.
She nodded contemplatively like that explained everything but suddenly popped up. “Oh! I know! Do you have Candyland?” She looked back to Tim and Kon with a wicked grin. “I get the feeling that's a game Damian would absolutely hate.” She made a noise somewhere between a squeal and exclamation and twirled in excitement at the prospect of Damian playing the game, heading out the door in full confidence he would follow her.
“It's pure luck!” Damian exclaimed following after her as expected. “There is no skill involved at all!”
“That's the point,” Jon chuckled. He jogged up to them and slung his arms over both their shoulders.
“What's the point if you can't win through your skills,” Damian grumbled.
“It's just supposed to be for fun,” Marinette chided.
“That does not sound fun,” he huffed petulantly. “It sounds like a children’s game.”
“It is a children’s game,” Jon laughed.
Damian stared at him incredulously. “Then why are we playing?”
“Because you’re just a big kid,” Marinette snarked, her smirk only growing in response to Damian’s aghast look. She turned back toward Tim and Kon who had stayed next to the art room door watching their interactions in wonder. “Did you guys want to join?
“They are far too busy,” Damian assured her hastily and loudly.
“Nah, we’re completely open,” Kon grinned. “And I’ve never even heard of Candyland.”
Marinette gasped loud enough Kon didn’t need to use his superhearing to detect it even from down the hall. She tried to turn back to them but Damian reached around Jon to keep her facing forward. “Damian, he’s never even heard of it! We have to let him play now.”
“We do not.”
“Oh, come on, Dame, it will make it more fun,” Jon insisted. His voice and eyes were filled with an excitement that Marinette seemed to feed off of, her own smile growing at Jon’s response.
Damian looked between them, his petulant frown staying firmly in place, but he let go of Marinette’s arm and continued forward, knowing full well she and Jon would take it as an agreement. “Including Drake has never made anything more enjoyable.”
“Come on,” Tim snickered. “Now I have to play. Plus, I bet she's right about Candyland and I want to see Damian restraining himself from ripping the board in half as he pretends to be normal for her.”
><><><><><><><><><
As it turns out, Marinette was, in fact, correct. Damian absolutely hated the game. If he had laser vision, the ice cream turrets on the Candy Castle would have been eviscerated. “This is stupid,” he groused as Marinette’s piece landed on the final rainbow square. He punctuated his displeasure by crossing his arms and pushing away from the table. He could have handled Marinette winning once, but three times was uncalled for.
“Cheer up, Damian,” she tried consolingly. “It’s just for fun. It has nothing to do with your skills.”
“It’s a game of luck, remember,” Jon chimed in, which was easy for him as his pieces were usually not far behind Marinette’s while Damian kept getting picture cards that inevitably sent him back toward the beginning of the board.
“Yeah,” Damian glared at Kon, “luck.”
Kon looked to the ceiling innocently and mimed whistling. At the same time, Marinette reached up to touch her earrings guiltily, “and I do tend to be a bit lucky. Sorry.”
Kon opened his mouth to ask if meeting him was an example of getting lucky, but before he could say the line that would definitely end in him getting hit with kryptonite-laced brass knuckles, Dick bounded into the room.
“There you guys are!” He smiled at all of them, but his eyes kept darting back to Marinette. He couldn’t stop moving, shifting from foot to foot and rubbing his hands as he waited exceptionally impatiently for her to be introduced.
Damian finally stepped up for the task, standing tall in front of Dick and motioning toward her. “Marinette, this is my brother Richard Grayson. Richard, this is my friend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng.”
“Marinette, it is nice to meet you,” Dick grinned, his grin widening as he looked between her and Damian. He took her hand with both of his to shake it, pumping it so hard in his excitement he was almost lifting her off the ground. “Please call me Dick.”
“And you,” she agreed breathlessly. It took a few moments after she reclaimed her hand before she could speak again. “He speaks very highly of you.”
Dick’s eyes sparkled as he watched Damian sidle closer to Marinette, dipping his head just slightly to catch her eye, raising an inquisitive eyebrow and only looking away again once she nodded back to him, but made sure to put his arm around her again. “He speaks of you at all,” Dick grinned, “so I know you must be important to him.”
Marinette blinked and plastered on a smile. “Thank you.” She waited until he’d dropped her hand before adding a quiet, “I think.”
Kon joined her on her other side and smirked. “Don’t worry, when Damian is involved, that’s a compliment.” Marinette pursed her lips and bobbed her head to the side nodding after a moment in agreement.
“Now, the reason I was really sent in, not that meeting you wasn’t absolutely at the top of my list,” he added to Marinette. “Dinner is about to be served. Alfred would like us to start getting seated.” He glanced over at Kon and eyed him for a second before adding, “you should lose the jacket before Alfred sees it at his table.”
Kon glanced down and looked back at him with a raised eyebrow, but finally nodded. “Right. Be right back.”
“Take your time,” Dick called as he replaced him by Marinette’s side.
“Don’t worry, I’ll put the game away,” Tim called after them.
“Thank you!” Dick called back to him. “So, you’ll get to meet almost the entire family. Cass and Stephanie are living in Hong Kong, but we hope they’ll make it for tomorrow. Hey!” he called out after a large man shoulder-checked him. “And that is Jason.”
Jason turned around and did a double take at Damian’s arm around Marinette’s shoulders. He looked up from the display to look between them. “What in the fuck knuckles…”
“Dude…” another man mumbled as he shook his head. He sighed and looked back up with a strained smile. “Sorry about him. Hi, I’m Duke.”
Marinette grinned at him and reached out to shake his hand. “It’s okay. I’m Marinette and I do like Pink and making pies, so…” she shrugged then snickered at Damian’s bewildered look. “But there is an important difference,” she met Jason’s eyes pointedly but not unkindly. “We are just friends.”
Jason raised an eyebrow but nodded and moved to take a seat on the far side of the table. “Impressed. Honestly did not think you’d know that one.”
She scoffed. “I have some pretty depraved friends.”
Jason mock gasped, drawing his hand to his chest to accentuate the scandal of the situation. “Depraved! Depraved? Liking that movie makes you depraved?”
Duke patted him on the shoulder as he took a seat next to him. “Sounds fair.”
“Oof,” Kon grunted as he walked in. “Hate to think what that says about me.”
“Probably something pretty accurate,” Damian clipped. “Marinette, you remember my father.”
Marinette straightened instantly at the figure walking in from the opposite side of the room. “Of course. Nice to see you again, M. Wayne.”
“And you, Ms. Dupain-Cheng. Welcome to our home. I hope your showing went well,” he answered warmly.
“It did, thank you,” she smiled back.
“Are you an artist?” Dick asked as he took his seat next to Duke, to the left of the head of the table.
“A designer, actually,” Marinette offered.
“A brilliant designer,” Bruce corrected. “I was quite impressed,” he assured Marinette firmly as he took his seat as well.
“I’d love to see it sometime,” Tim smiled.
Marinette blushed brightly but nodded with more confidence than she felt. “Okay.”
She eyed where Tim had sat, two seats away from M. Wayne, and Kon making his way to sit between him and M. Wayne, and knocked her arm into Damian, looking pointedly at the last seat next to Bruce. Damian nodded and cut in front of Kon to take the seat. Kon blinked at him but quickly changed course to sit on the other side. Jon stepped up next to Marinette and looked between the two remaining seats, one next to Kon and one next to Jason. He looked at Marinette questioningly. She shrugged and took the seat closest to her, next to Kon. Jon nodded and sat next to Jason.
Tim leaned around Kon to verify that was really where Marinette had sat. He was about to offer to switch spots with her so she could sit next to Damian, but Alfred entered at that moment and started serving the food. As it turned out, she was fine where she was. Marinette integrated with the family easily, laughing and joking with all of them. It may have worked out better that way anyway as it gave her the chance to chat with Jon and Kon about Metropolis and get more information on the city before she decided if she wanted to move there after graduation.
The dinner was going amazingly so naturally it had to get cut short. Everyone in the family knew something was wrong the moment Alfred entered mid-course. “Sorry to interrupt, sir. But there appears to have been an incident at Wayne Enterprises.” Alfred leaned over and whispered in Bruce’s ear. Whatever he said must have been really bad because he immediately stiffened, but in the blink of an eye, it was gone. He gave Dick a pointed look. He nodded at him, then bumped Duke and nodded to Jason.
Bruce stood up quickly, dabbing his mouth with his napkin, quickly followed by the other three men, although they didn’t bother to wipe their mouths. “So sorry for the interruption, Marinette. Please continue your night. It was very nice to see you again.” He was gone before Marinette could say goodbye.
Damain stood and moved over to Marinette whispering in her ear too low for anyone but Kon and Jon to hear. She squealed and hugged him, giving him a kiss on the cheek before he straightened up. Jon rounded the table to clap him on the back as well. Damian nodded to the two of them then followed the others as they made their way out the door at a considerably slower pace than Bruce.
“You don’t have to come, Dame,” Dick whispered just outside the door. “We have four people, we’re good. If we need another, we can call for Tim. Stay and keep your friend company.”
Damian glanced back into the room. Marinette was smiling at something Jon was saying, which apparently required him to use both hands in uncoordinated movements. He snickered at the scene. “No, she will be okay where she is. I won’t ignore my duty.”
Duke shook his head. “We really need to work on your skills, man.”
Damian looked at him affronted. “My skills are impeccable. It’s your skills that need honing.”
Duke opened his mouth to respond but shut it and shook his head instead.
><><><><><><><><><
The mission had taken considerably longer than the family had anticipated, but seeing as it was a rogue team up, it wasn’t entirely surprising. The only thing that was surprising, was the fact that Damian wasn’t acting like more of a constipated gremlin. In fact, he was positively beaming, well, not glowering, which for Damian was roughly the equivalent of beaming.
Nobody knew what to make of it. The mission had taken him away from his friend for almost the entire night and he seemed… happy about it. Nobody who had seen them together earlier doubted he cared about her, so the fact that he was so blasé about having left her behind for so long, even to do something he valued so thoroughly, was confusing. Even now as they walked into the living room, he wasn’t leading the pack to get to her sooner.
Which was a small mercy because it meant he didn’t have to be the first to see what they were seeing. “What the hell is going on!” Dick roared.
Marinette’s head jerked away from Kon, their lips separating with a pop. She eeped and tried to jump away from Kon, but he held her tight against him, allowing her to bury her face in his chest to hide her bright crimson cheeks.
“Oh damn,” Duke mumbled, eyes wide in surprise.
Kon kept one arm right around her and waved with the other. “Hey guys. You’re back early.”
“That’s all you have to say?” Jason hissed.
Kon scrunched his face slightly and looked to Dick for a clue, but his expression was just as thunderous. He quickly shifted to Tim who shrugged, just as confused about the reaction as Kon. “Uh… sorry I didn’t help?” he offered.
“Oh, no, its okay, you were too busy helping yourself,” Dick seethed.
“Helping my…” Kon trailed off. He gaped at Dick and opened and closed his mouth a few times but before he could formulate how to respond Damian finally came in, his eyes down as he focused on dusting off his shirt, missing the way the entire room had stopped to watch him.
It took several more steps before he finally sensed the hostile atmosphere of the room. He froze mid-brush and slowly lifted his head to take in the scene, just as slowly panning across the room until it settled on Kon’s arms around Marinette. He lifted his eyes up, pausing momentarily at her hands on his chest. His eyes snapped to hers. “What are you doing! How could you do this to me?” he yelled. Marinettes eyes widened in shock and confusion while the rest of the room except Kon moved to comfort Damian. “That is the wrong brother!”
“Excuse me?” Conner growled.
“Uh… what?” Duke asked uncertainly.
“You were supposed to end up with Jon not him!” he growled, moving in Marinette’s face and motioning harshly toward Kon.
Dick’s hands that were still perched from having been rubbing circles on Damian’s back slowly retracted. “Wait. I thought... why would you want that?”
Damian huffed and crossed his arms over his chest again, evoking the image of a child throwing a temper tantrum. “Because it would be extremely convenient for me if my two best friends were dating.” Tim had the misfortune of snorting when everyone else in the room had gone frighteningly quiet. Damian’s eyes shot to him. He pointed at Tim accusingly. “She was supposed to end up with my idiot not your idiot.”
“That's why you brought me?” Marinette asked. “You said you wanted me to be here to support you while you spoke with your father because I made you feel better. But you were just trying to pimp me out?” Kon’s grip on her tightened at the hurt lacing her voice. Damian’s eyes zeroed in on the movement and Dick had to adjust to holding him back instead of comforting him.
“I was not pimping you out!” Damian objected more annoyed than concerned. “There was no payment involved and sex was entirely up to you.”
Marinette stared at him incredulously. “Oh, thank you for that,” she snapped.
“You’re welcome,” he nodded, seemingly satisfied with her gratitude.
“She's not... isn't she here with you?” Jason asked carefully.
“Yes, she is here with me as my friend. I brought her here so she could meet Jon and start dating him,” Damian gritted out.
“So... you two aren't dating or pre-dating?” Dick asked again, hoping Damians answers this time would somehow make more sense. He had been so absolutely confident that they were just dancing on the edge of dating.
“Obviously.”
Dick stared at Damian, his answer not making the situation make more sense. The room was completely still for a few moments before Duke finally broke the silence. “What is pre-dating?”
Dick blinked at him. “It’s when… it’s like before you’re dating.”
Duke shot him the flattest look he could manage. “Yeah, thanks, got that from the ‘pre’ part. I know how the English language works.”
“It’s when you’re laying the groundwork. You haven’t actually asked them out yet but you both know it’s just a matter of time,” Dick clarified, his hands waving around in a pattern that seemed to accentuate his point in his mind but seemed completely non-sensical to everyone else.
Duke studied him. “Do you both have to know? What if it’s a surprise to the other when the one asks them out?”
“Still counts,” Dick answered at the same time Jason said, “That’s one-sided pining,” and Tim said “That’s just real life.” They stared at each other in confusion.
“Hold up!” Kon cut in. “I’m not an idiot.”
Damian scoffed. “Based on how long it took you to figure out I’d insulted you; you appear to be mistaken.”
“You thought I was dating him?” Marinette asked, finally breaking away from Kon’s chest, though his arms were still resting lightly on his waist to direct the question to the rest of his family. “We said we were just friends… multiple times.”
“Yeah,” Dick started slowly, “but I thought... right. No, we knew that,” he finished as casually as he could manage.
She wiggled out of Kon’s embrace, much to his enjoyment, so she could step closer to Damian and smack him on the chest. “I told you they would think we were dating no matter what we said.”
Damian rolled his eyes. “And I told you they would figure it out.” He motioned vaguely toward the rest of the room without taking his eyes off her. “Look at that they have.”
“Hey guys!” Jon greeted everyone as he tucked his phone in his back pocket. “Welcome back. Oh hey, you two finally separated. Nice. Perfect timing.”
Damian stared at him for a few seconds before rounding on Marinette. “You've ruined the entire plan,” he growled at her. “You were supposed to be here not separating from him!” He motioned toward Jon.
“Well, you didn't tell me the plan, did you?” she hissed back. “It helps to have collaboration on a plan when you INFORM YOUR COHORTS WHAT THE PLAN IS.”
“Yeah, Damian,” Jon added. "It wouldn't have worked anyway. I'm dating someone else."
“What?” Damian exclaimed, rounding on Jon. “When did that happen?”
“A few weeks ago. I was going to introduce you at the party tomorrow. I just got off the phone with him,” he motioned toward his pocket.
“You cannot be dating someone,” Damian scoffed. “I didn't approve of anyone. I haven't done research on them.”
Jon and Mari let out matching scoffs. "I don't need your approval to date someone," Jon reminded him.
"We are not chess pieces you can move around at your will to suit your whims," Marinette chided. Damian glared at her, a calculating look in his eyes.
"She was not issuing a challenge," Jon cut in before Damian could make any plans.
Damian huffed and rolled his eyes. "You're more like checker pieces anyway. Maybe even Candyland."
“So... you're not mad about...” Dick motioned between Mari and Kon.
“Furious,” Damian huffed.
Mari rolled her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. The fact that he didn’t shrug her off signaled to the rest of the family more about his state of mind than any words either Marinette or Damian had said up until that point. “But he'll get over it. Are you guys going to join us for the movie marathon now?”
“You just missed Trading Places,” Jon nodded.
“We missed Trading Places?” Jason gasped.
“I mean, they pretty much did too,” Jon grinned, looking pointedly at Marinette and Kon.
Marinette batted at him, her cheeks blushing profusely, but Kon grinned proudly. “He’s not wrong. So, I’m okay with putting it on again.”
“Mon Dieu,” Marinette whimpered. Kon wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed the crown of her head. But Damian pushed the two apart with a harumph.
“We will get popcorn while you guys get things set up,” he announced as he pulled her out of the room. Marinette grabbed Jon’s hand and pulled him along with them.
“So... you and Marinette…” Dick started carefully.
“Yeah…” Kon hedged nervously.
“Congrats,” Duke cut in before Dick could say anything.
“She seems like a good kid,” Jason agreed.
“She's our age,” Kon grumbled.
“But Damian's friend, so a kid,” Tim grinned.
“No. I'm dating her so we won't be calling her a kid. No matter what Tim says, I’m not creepy, and that would definitely be creepy,” Kon ordered, voice firm. He looked between Jason and Tim to make sure they heard him then narrowed his eyes at them. “But what is creepy? You two agreeing.”
Dick chuckled and popped up between Tim and Jason, throwing his arms over their shoulders. “Fair. Now come on, we need to get the room set up. Jason, get out the blankets. Duke, you’re on pillows. Tim, Kon, and I will work on a plan to keep Damian from killing Kon.”
“I appreciate that,” Kon nodded.
“We got your back,” Jason nodded.
“If only to keep Damian from stabbing you in it,” Duke grinned.
Kon’s appreciative gaze turned flat. “Thanks.” Duke snickered as he dropped more pillows on the couches and chairs. “Come on,” Kon implored, “he brought a beautiful, brilliant, creative, kind woman he wasn’t interested in dating home for the holidays. He should have known something would happen. You guys don’t bring people home because of that, right?”
Dick scoffed and threw a pillow at Jason who ducked easily under it before dumping his blankets on one of the chairs. “I just assume he’ll go after them after we’ve broken up.”
“Hey,” Jason objected. He threw one of the blankets at Dick. “I only did that once… that you know of,” he added under his breath.
“What was that?” Dick asked, eyes narrowed.
“Nothing,” Jason said innocently.
“I don’t think we have the same taste,” Tim shrugged.
“I don’t bring anyone around for entirely different reasons,” Duke snorted.
“What reason is that?” Jon asked with a knowing grin.
Marinette and Damian followed closely behind carrying trays. “We come bearing popcorn!” she cheered, holding up her tray with several bowls of popcorn.
“And candy,” Jon joined in, holding up his own tray with bowls of candy. “And drinks.” He motioned with his elbow to the tray in Damian’s hands, who grumbled and rolled his eyes rather than holding up his tray.
“Oh, this looks great!” Marinette squealed and started distributing the blankets. Jon and Damian angled one of the couches toward the television before plopping down on it. Marinette was slower to move, her eyes darting to Kon who grinned at her attention. He reached out to pull her over to the couch he and Tim had just angled toward the television as well, but before he could Damian yanked Marinette down onto the couch with him.
Kon huffed but Marinette broke down in giggles. When she finally stopped, she scooted closer to Damian and looked pointedly at the space next to her she’d just left free, a space just big enough for someone to fit in snugly. “Let’s get started,” Damian huffed.
“Can’t wait,” Marinette agreed quietly, her attention squarely pointed away from the television and on the man next to her.
Kon grinned and threw his arm over her shoulders. “Me either,” he agreed.
Damian made a retching sound and turned his whole body toward the television. “Disgusting. Never bringing a friend home again.”

Okay, but Houndoom can mega evolve. So now I think Vaggie should get a pokemon that can also mega evolve, as a treat.
Basically I just think Vaggie having an Absol would really fit her. Not sure what second pokemon Charlie would have to even the numbers though.
No even numbers- Absol is THEIR shared custody pokemon child, started out as Charlie's ends up more firmly bonded to Vaggie but gods it took a while and
Ah. I've made this angsty with fluff somehow. and loooooong
tldr: AU where the absol is both the reason chaggie meet AND the forewarning of one of the worst days of their lives. It's also kinda the living representation of them and their dream of saving people who no one thinks can be saved, no matter how much ppl hate and put Chaggie down for it
Absol's disaster-sensing power horns and urge to warn ppl mean whenever a portal to hell opens up at least ONE of these usually flash-steps through while it's open. They end up gravitating to whatever lonely mountain-like places they can find in the rings of hell, BUT, each year they all try slipping in to Pride right before or during Extermination start so they can try warning the Sinner's there that something terrible is about to go down
Hellborn see them as guardians bc any hellborn still in Pride right before Extermination can catch an emergency ride out of there on any Absol who finds them-
buuuuuut Sinners, the ones the Absols are TRYING to help, hate them. The warning is useless since Sinners can't leave and they only ever see the mountain dwelling Absols in Pentagram city right before the worst day of anyone's lives start. Some Sinners take this anger out on the Absols if they can catch them- Lucifer's found the results a few times scattered along streets right before Extermination and every time he'd cry and rage and send what's left of the Absols to the Ars Goetia for burial somewhere nice while begging the Sins to guard the ways between the rings better so this doesn't happen. Some Absols still get through tho. Mainly the older and more experienced ones, wary ones who never tried helping directly and so never got grabbed and torn apart by furious, terrified Sinners
Charlie's always taken the hellborn view on Absols (cool protectors!) and loved seeing them in the city (so PRETTY and FLUFFY) even though she feels guilty about it, knowing what it means and how scared it makes her people in Pride (she's found the... remnants of some Absols too but... they came here to help, even though a city is a terrible place for them, and THAT'S what Chralie focuses on) (she does also try to shoo them out of Pride if she can though) (Sinners not letting her patch them up after surviving Extermination is bad enough, ending up bringing home a broken grey horn or scrap of bloody white fur on top of that...)
She gets it though. The whole thing is tragic but she gets why Sinners aren't happy seeing the Absols, she walks around seeing all the dead Sinners who maybe saw an Absol moments before getting killed and yeah, she gets it, if things were different... just another reason to figure out how to stop the Exterminations. Even if it means no more Absols have a reason to make the trip to Pride afterwards- she's rather never see another one again, no matter how beautiful they are or how seeing them come back year after year helps her grit her fangs and make her own trip onto hells streets too, picking up where they left off trying helping people.
Maybe she identifies with the Absols just a liiiiiiiiiittle bit and wishes one would stick around someday.
She was REALLY confused seeing one still in the city AFTER an extermination one year. Extra confused when it just stood there staring at her from the entrance of a random alleyway.
It looked old and grizzled, scarred horn and patches missing from it's fur probably from past attacks on it from Sinners, so it SHOULD have been really wary and run from her the moment Charlie got closer, but it didn't, it just stepped back (out of reach) and looked down into the alleyway and when Charlie looked too that's when SHE saw-
Charlie assumes Vaggie was on the point of dying or getting killed there in that alleyway and THAT'S why the Absol was hanging around. It's gone by the time Charlie comes back out supporting the injured Sinner dumpster lady, and Charlie doesn't think to mention it until a full year into knowing and living with Vaggie- not until the next extermination, when Charlie gets excited seeing the Absols (SHE OWES THEM SO MUCH NOW) (she has a FRIEND. and Vaggie is safe and healing and) (oh Charlie wishes she could meet that one scarred up Absol again and thank it)
Vaggie does NOT share Charlie's enthusiasm for the "disaster" pokemon
Which Charlie understands! Vaggie is a SINNER right? She says she saw an Absol right before her eye got cut out on Extermination day. It makes sense she wouldn't have good feelings for them! Charlie understands that!!!
Charlie has no idea. And Vaggie can't bring herself to explain
Exorcist usually never notice the Absols. Partly because most of the Absols are already out of Pride before Extermination starts, mostly bc the Exorcists are fully focused on gleefully exterminating as many Sinners as they can before time runs out, vying to top each other's kill counts and cut down the endless rising tide of hell to keep heaven safe for another year
But Vaggie noticed
Maybe she wouldn't if she was having more fun admiring her piles of dead, sinful souls, but she spent her time between kills looking for the next one and the next clean shot to take the Sinner out in one hit- Dragging things out was pointless and wasteful, it would just cut into her own kill count numbers and that's the only reason why she didn't main her prey first, she was just being Efficient- she felt like the damn Absols were always staring at her. Their white fur jumped out against the gory trash strewn dingy streets of hell and they didn't make sense next to all the city dwelling pokemon, the ones made or trash or feeding on electronic, ghost pokemon born from or haunting the Sinners in their afterlife, fighting types brought in as protection or to hunt other Sinners with, fire types that let an Exorcist know they were getting too close to residents of the rulers of hell and the threat of hellfire that settled around the Morningstars like mantling cloaks of danger and death- the odd normal urban pokemon, drawn to the most densely populated place in hell and a sign of the reason the Exorcist had to come down and soil their wings and blades here year after year
Vaggie had the time to spot the Absols and feel how WRONG it was seeing them there
The wrongness got even worse once she broke down and trying leaning about the pokemon back up in heaven- Because even though it's HEAVEN and every pokemon in creation can technically be found there, the Absols are RARE. Every time a portal to Earth opens up, a few of them slip through and escape to the mortal world. Why?
Finding out why made Vaggie's insides squirm. Absols sensed changes in the world around them- weather usually or earthquakes- and they didn't cause disasters but they felt compelled to WARN people of them, they left their mountain homes (or even the eternal perfection of heaven) to go where people were in danger (like Earth) and tried to give everyone there a chance to RUN, to escape, to save themselves
and what did it mean, then, that Vaggie was seeing them down in hell during Extermination?
Wiping out terrible evil souls wasn't... it wasn't the same thing as a storm or an earthquake or tsunami or flood. What Exorcists did was GOOD and RIGHT and JUST, they were protecting the souls up in heaven, they weren't, causing a disaster
The souls down in hell didn't count as people anymore. They didn't deserve mercy or a chance to save themselves from that one final death. So wHY were the Absols down there. Why were they watching her kill-
Vaggie does see an Absol right before her eye is cut out, but more honestly, she sees it right before she almost kills a crying cannibal child
She blames the damn scarred up Absol for that for a while. Her losing her eye and her wings and her halo and her spot up in heaven is all because that one stupid pokemon unsettled her and set her up to lose her nerve and everything else
If that's true tho, then it's also why she ended up meeting Charlie, and...
The Absol shows up again the day Vaggie decides to stay with Charlie for good, they day they really start planning the hotel together, the day so many things finally get set in motion and a little shiver runs through the crooked, off kilter foundations of creation
Charlie doesn't know she's got an Exorcist at her side, working to stop the Exterminations what used to be Vaggie's whole reason for being
All Charlie knows is that the scarred Absol who shows up looks SO much like Vaggie it makes Charlie SQUEAK while taking pictures, and the Absol doesn't run when she inches in closer (Vaggie talking her through it from a distance, just barely keeping Charlie's urge to rush in and hug the pokemon in check) (Vaggie who's helping her get close to the Absol even tho Vaggie still doesn't like them) (Vaggie, who Charlie's already had practice learning how to be patient and careful for, scarred up Vaggie who won't go into details about what she's been through but never stops showing just how much happier she is now with Charlie)
For the first time in her long long life Charlie gets to reach out and TOUCH an Absol. Carefully. Veeery slowly. The poor thing has clearly been through a lot but it looks at Charlie and holds still and Charlie tears up staring at this creature who's never stopped trying to help Charlie's people, no matter how much they hated it or hurt it
She gives the Absol a hug, and it's just as much for herself as for the Absol who stands there and let's her give it
When the Absol nuzzles Charlie's teary face Vaggie knows she's doomed. It's over. That damn pokemon who haunts her nightmares is gonna get led into Charlie's home and Charlie's life just like Vaggie was and Vaggie's gonna help with every step- from a DISTANCE- because anything that makes Charlie smile like that is worth every inch of pain it brings along the way
and okay yeah, maybe having an Absol around is soothing and satisfying to a woman like Vaggie who's always on the look out for problems BEFORE they happen and likes getting a heads up instead of blissfully running along until the problems smack them in the face (re: Charlie)
and alright FINE Vaggie and the stupid Absol DO look kinda alike now her hair is growing out, and Charlie getting an eyepatch matching Vaggie's for the Absol's also scarred and missing left eye is KINDA cute
and yes sure the Absol joins Vaggie on patrols of Charlie's home and then the hotel and is pretty much always sitting at her feet and Sinners shy away from her partly bc of it which she doesn't mind at all and she SHOULD bc Charlie sweetie this is the WORST pokemon to have hanging around if we're trying to get Sinners to come stay at the hotel the Absol makes it look like the hotel thing is DOOMED doesn't that bother you doesn't it ever both you having something (someone) around who keeps reminding you of how things will probably go bad (Vaggie at least tries to find ways to counter it but she has to say the bad out loud first) doesn't that wear you down or annoy you wouldn't this be easier without (Vaggie) a disaster pokemon looming over everything-
Whenever Vaggie brings these points up tho, Charlie just clings to her Absol and gets watery eyed and says it's NOT the Absol's FAULT if ppl don't understand it's way of trying to help them!! Pointing out disasters before they happen isn't the same as causing them!!!!
And Vaggie sighs (in relief) and reluctantly agrees (she's trying so hard the only way she can right now maybe that's good enough for now) and when the Absol sits next to her on the crows nest keeping watch over the hotel that night (keeping a watchful wary eye on heaven's light) maybe Vaggie reaches down to give the Absol some head and neck scratches and rub the old scars in a way Vaggie knows (from personal experience) helps them relax and feel a bit better for a while
They don't figure out WHY the Absol came to stay with them in the first place until years later.
They come back from that disaster meeting up in heaven and find out everyone at the hotel ALREADY knows something bad is coming, they've known since the moment Chaggie's Absol threw back it's head and started to mournfully sing, a sound even worse than the howling of Charlie's usually cheerful Houndoom who ends up shivering in a corner huddled under the protective tiny wings of its Pidove protector who keeps looking around frantically for The Danger and pecking frantically at everything else it can reach
(the hazbins know it's BAd when Charlie's Houndoom won't respond to Razzle and Dazzle smothering it with loving pets and Vaggie's Pidove ignores Razzle and Dazzle's desperately offered donut treats)
and.....
....in the rush to fortify the hotel and prepare for battle with heaven... with Vaggie busy doing weapon drills and Charlie beating hopeful songs of not dying into everyone's heads all hours of the day... no one notices the Absol follow Pentious and the Egg Bois around
(not until After, anyway)

Guilt for Holland and/or Del, please! (alternative Midnight if you have already done guilt) 🥰 (~agentnatesewell)
thank you, beloved Mar! <333
I did guilt and midnight for Holland already, so I'll do both of 'em for Del (below the cut because brevity and I aren't friends😌).
guilt: What is your OC guilty about? How do they handle their guilt? Do they try to avoid guilt, or do they accept it?
Del probably has the healthiest relationship with guilt of my twc girlies, but there is One Incident about which she still feels SO guilty, even several years later: one time, coming back from a hike, she stepped on Mary Shelley’s (her cat) tail and accidentally pulled out a big clump of hair because it got caught on the treads of her trail shoes (Shell is a Maine Coon and thus solidly 45% pure floof). Despite the fact that Shelley didn’t even seem to notice, and certainly seemed completely fine and unhurt, the resulting bald patch on the end of her normally-very-fluffy tail sent a major wave of guilt over Del every time she saw it while it grew back. Even now, if she’s reminded of that incident, she feels so guilty she immediately gives Shell extra treats or especially bougie canned food as an apology for the time she ripped out part of her tail fur. On a slightly more serious note (though Del obvi takes Mary Shelley extremely seriously!), she’s starting to feel something like guilt or maybe regret for not having consented to the Agency’s requested blood tests all the way back in B1. She’s by far the most suspicious of them as a whole and wasn’t interested in sending her blood off for a battery of panels by a shady organization she’d only just learned existed, thankyouverymuch. But as things (and threats) have progressed, she’s starting to wonder if that might have been a bad call and whether she’s making everything harder for everyone now as a result.
midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?
Well-adjusted as she is, even Del isn't immune from nightmares, and with everything going on these past months, those have been much more frequent than she'd like (or would like to admit to Felix, because she doesn't want him to worry more than she knows he already is). When she can't sleep (and reading on her phone in bed isn't lulling her), she's most likely to tinker with a project or play a game (she's got a Switch, a Steam Deck, and a growing backlog of games since her free time is basically nonexistent these days). Her latest project has been the slow restoration of an antique tube radio from the 1930s. It's slow going, but she's learning a lot and it's keeping her head and hands busy with concrete, imminently solvable problems.
(from these asks)
#sorry this took a minute but tysm again for the ask! <333#del is easily the most well-adjusted (lol) so hers were especially fun to think through!#(well. petra's mostly p solid but she's also in love with ava so losing points for that i fear xD)#answered#oc: delaney keaton

Upon mutual agreement to play Uno together, neither thought much of it. It was probably just going to be a fun few rounds of the card game until one or both of them got bored. For now, it seemed better than staring at the walls until the other girls arrived at the rocket ship to hang out.
For Hikaru, the citizens of the planet Saman were all sticks in the mud with a superiority complex. Lala was no doubt going to be delightfully competitive, though she was secretly baffled that her folk had any concept of fun. After all, they thought things through logically as dully with overreliance on AI. Though, the double edge in thinking that was, at least Lala was going to pick up the rules of Uno quickly and stick to them.
For Lala, meanwhile, she perceived humans as a lesser species. They were whacky and lawless, primitive in the brain and technology. She was honestly surprised they had concept of rules and law at all since they were so behind on development that the Earth was exempt from intergalactic alliances and the like. So, she saw so issue with sitting down with Hikaru to learn the game Uno despite knowing something that Hikaru did not know about the game.
“Oh my goodness, uno!” Hikaru cried out as she placed her final card on the pile.
Lala’s eyebrow twinged. This was the end of all their games. Every single game so far had resulted in the same outcome: Hikaru wins and Lala loses. It didn’t matter who cut the deck, who was dealer, and what the starting hands looked like. Lala could have had the advantage for most the game and then out of nowhere, Hikaru would become the underdog. Their friends would be here soon so this was now the final outcome of all their games as it was unlikely there would be enough time for one more round. As Lala had been begging the past five rounds.
So now, Lala was at the end of her wits. The pile of cards was high and so were tensions. Fraught debates on if “add four” and “add two” cards stack, and they totally do of course, and the tension of keeping an eye on each other’s shrinking hands. It had been a long fight, a terse back and forth full of passion and intensity.
Lala’s heart pounded out of her chest whilst Hikaru treated it far more casually. She wasn’t a sore winner or anything, laughing and smiling, though her expression changed as something twigged in Lala’s demeanour. Her trembling shoulders, her blushing expression.
“Y-You have won, lun.” Lala stammered. “Every. Single. Game.” She sounded as thought she were seething.
“...Yeah, something the matter?” Hikaru asked, blinking owlishly. “Do you want to play again or do you wanna play something else…?”
Her voice trailed off in confusion as she watched Lala abruptly stand up from the table in the central control panel of the rocketship. The table and chairs bustled as Lala got to her feet and her expression underneath her fluffy bangs of cyan were unreadable.
At this point, she was scaring Hikaru who could only watch as Lala snapped.
And lowered herself to the floor.
On all fours, hands planted to the metallic tiling, Lala announced, “Hikaru! I am in your care, lun. Please take responsibility and marry me, please, lun!”
“Huh?” Hikaru exclaimed, amazed in her confusion.
See, that tricky little extra detail that was known only to Lala, an eligible adult woman of Saman, was that this game counted towards her home planet’s marital and courting rituals. Why wouldn’t it?
For any Saman over the age of thirteen, all games were prohibited unless one was certain they would win or wanted to marry the loser. That is how it had worked for the past thousand years. The traditional, uncivilised bloodbath had been a bygone relic for the Samapedia pages for centuries at this point.
These days everything from stars-data-asteroids to hopscotch counted, even the AI encouraged the matches that it made to play these games to prove the projected compatibility. Her parents had become betrothed in this manner playing marbles.
Thus, for all intents and purposes, this game of uno which was a thrilling intellectual challenge with a swirl of luck and chance had been perfect for deducing one’s compatibility and affirming betrothal. Regardless of it Hikaru had known it or not because Lala had been determined to win. After all, only losers pledged themselves to the winners. Not vice versa. Losing on purpose was considered ignoble in all circumstances.
All circumstances meant all circumstances, after all. There was no room for black and white thinking or nuance amongst the Saman. Lala hadn’t escaped her programming that far yet so, that meant, if she had lost to a human on Earth playing Earth games that counted all the same as if she had lost to a Saman on Planet Saman.
Besides, for Lala, the thought of having to return to that place and marry anyone but Hikaru hurt her. She didn’t know what these feelings were but they were welling up inside of her at unprecedented levels. She loved Hikaru: her one true friend, her first friend at all. A human who challenged her and the rest of the worlds out there in outer space. She punched her way through injustice and villainy, all with a smile and a beautiful singing voice.
It could only be Hikaru, Lala was certain. She had given her all to defeat her and yet the cards came crashing down with the word uno, cascading in red, yellow, green, and blue.
Therefore, there was nothing that Lala could do, as stubborn and prideful as she was, than submit to Hikaru who was bewildered beyond all belief. Her ears began to redden as Lala’s words sank in and she tried to understand what the heck was happening.
“Wh-What? Lala, slow down, what are you talking about?” Hikaru’s hands waved a flurry in front of her as she panicked.
Lala looked up from the floor where she knelt. Her eyes gleamed with determination. There was a pink mark on her forehead from where it had been touching the floor begging for this marriage.
Her seriousness only served to scare Hikaru further, however. Hikaru’s heart pounded like crazy in her chest and she blushed.
Lala inhaled deeply, her body tensed, and upon her exhale, her exclamation was loud enough to echo through the insides of the rocketship - as well as Hikaru’s ears. Hikaru’s eyes began to all but spiral in her confusion. She was flattered, she was nonplussed, she was everything and more to Lala as her hand in marriage was asked for. Those five words resounded.
“Will you marry me, lun?” Lala asked.
“I-I can’t!” Hikaru squeaked.
Lala’s expression furrowed, “Why not, lun?”
“I-I’m only fourteen.” Hikaru murmured, shy.
“So?” Lala tilted her head. She stood up and her hands curled into fists by her side.
“The age of majority in Japan is eighteen, that’s why!” Hikaru protested.
“But not on Saman, lun.” Lala pouted. “On my planet, it is normal for our age group to find one another, even marry, lun. We have laws, we have rules, if you are defeated in these fateful game, you must ask: will you marry me, lun.”
Hikaru stood up and sighed understandingly. Her expression softened and she drew in closer to Lala. She took her hands, played with them, swung them left and right.
“I know at the moment,” Hikaru murmured, “it feels like we only have the here and now, yeah? ‘Cause one day, it’ll be all over. You’ll have to go home and I’ll have to stay here. I-I can’t go with you, I can’t marry you, Lala. N-Not yet, anyway.”
Lala stared. She was visibly disappointed by the outcome. Her shoulders slumped, her lips quivered. However, Hikaru’s non-committal stance did, at the very least, inspire hope. Lala tightened her hands underneath Hikaru’s and her hands slipped along the edge of her slender fingers. She traced her knuckles and drew the shape of stars on her skin to soothe her.
“Hikaru, lun… I really like you, I’ve never felt this way before about anyone, lun.” Lala mumbled.
“I really like you, too, Lala! Then let’s make a promise.” Hikaru said. “When the day comes that Earth can join the alliance, that’s when I’ll marry you.”
“B-But that’s so far away, lun!” Lala argued. “That could be ten, twenty, even a hundred years from now, lun!”
“Then we’ll have to keep doing our best as Pretty Cures so it’ll hurry up.” Hikaru giggled.
Lala considered Hikaru’s proposal. It didn’t exactly delight the instant gratification centres in her brain now that she had accepted that she wanted to marry Hikaru for more than the rote reasons of society and culture. She had lost the games but she didn’t want to lose Hikaru to time, to the stifling rules of the Intergalactic Alliance.
Regardless, Lala sighed. There was nothing she could do about it. She had to respect humanity just as much as Hikaru was making the effort to respect her own origins.
Lala lifted her antennae. The yellow orbs crackled with electricity. She blushed ever so slightly in her disappointment.
“I will wait then, lun.” Lala huffed, stubborn as ever.
Hikaru giggled and she raised her hands. Her fingers, save for her index finger, curled in against her palm. She pressed the pad of her index finger against Lala’s antennae and she shuddered. Hikaru felt more than just a jolt of mild electricity at the gesture: she felt all of Lala’s fingers. Complicated, dramatic, and uniquely hers in confessing her tender feelings.
“For what it's worth,” Hikaru teased her, “I can’t wait until I’m old enough to marry you.”

♪ — 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗦 sebastian vettel x fem! italian! reader (fluff) “. . . in which neither of you speak the same language, but can still understand each other through petals. you might not speak german and he not italian, but who can't speak flower?”
( master list | more of sebastian vettel ) ( requests )
Seb closed his eyes, freezing in his spot. He felt you gently brush his hair from in front of his face and clip the locks with the rest of his hair on his head.
When he opened his eyes again he couldn’t look away from you, watching you brush the rest of his golden locks behind his ear gently. “Sembri così carino.” [you look so cute] You giggled once you looked at the finished result. Sebastian Vettel in a red apron holding a batch of soil that still held the shape of the pot from which it was recently removed, with his hair pinned to the top of his head with a Hello Kitty hair clip leaving his forehead exposed.
“Danke.” He mumbled with a little nod, trying to suppress a smile, which only resulted in an upside down smile. The blond didn't even realize he was staring, watching you go back to tending the garden until his mom jolted him out of his trance.
Spring was coming and your aunt decided to invite her friend next door for a brief exchange of soil since she had extra, and Heike Vettel could work a little on her own garden as well. This is where things get fluffy.
It was the moment Sebastian heard his mom mention the house across did his brain turn into mush and his heart beat in a rush.
The poor boy's thoughts got tangled up. He swore he could hear his mom calling him to go with her because he was already putting his shoes on. And he did end up going with her because what kind of mom would Heike be to look at her son in his big gorgeous blue eyes when he’s all joyful and say no?
“Es ist eine Überraschung, dich zu sehen, Sebastian.” [a surprise to see you, Sebastian] he greeted the middle aged woman back politely as the two women went off to the kitchen. Slipping his shoes off, the blond went to follow when his eyes caught motion outside the back glass doors.
You were here. Now Seb’s heart was truly racing, seeing the sight of you gave him a sense of relief and anxiety. The italian girl that comes and spends the spring with her aunt every year, that's what Sebastian knew you as. Every spring, once a year since he was a kid, you’d come over.
He remembers swinging at a park when he was 10 with his friends, when he only really went there because he knew you’d be there riding your bike that day. Or that time he was 14 and instead on working on his kart outside the garage because he wanted to impress you when you walked by.
Now that he was 19, he should probably do something about it. But the gust of anxiety in his blood wasn’t letting him, so he just stood by the sliding door and watched as you gently tended to the growing garden, removing plants from the pots and adding them in the raised bed.
Seb thought you looked beautiful and elegant, tending to nature and decorating the little garden despite it not being that big or having much to work with. And when you noticed him and called for help (he assumed since he didn’t speak Italian and didn’t understand your instructions), Seb found himself in the apron, helping you preen flowers or add them to bed or pots or decorate little corners with stones.
This was fun. And what his mother found funny was the fact that his nature as a driver makes Seb constantly keep his hands clean - which is the total opposite of the situation he’s in at the moment, fingers all dirty with soil stuck under his fingernails.
“Sebastian!” The blond jolted, looking back at his mom who couldn’t help but laugh at his appearance. She left him out of his sight for 40 minutes and finds him barefoot and amidst labor, holding a little pink carnation with his bangs held up with a Hello Kitty clip.
If it was any other woman, the blond would’ve ripped the clip out, washed his hands and feet and walked right out with his mom. If it were any woman he wouldn’t even be helping her with her garden or letting her touch his hair. But this was you, the nice and kind and graceful- he could go on, but the point is that Seb found himself lucky- blessed even that you went out of your way to make sure that he was comfortable and not hurting his eyes.
Sebastian tried to hide the embarrassment looking away. He wasn’t supposed to look so … whatever softie he looks like right now. “Lass uns gehen.” [let’s go] His mom waved, trying to hold in her giggles.
“nein nein lass ihn, sie haben spaß.” [no no, leave him, they’re having fun] Your aunt defended, also trying to suppress her joy.
Seb huffed, furrowing his eyebrows ready to say something to defend his reputation but the words never left his mouth and his eyebrows unfurrowed quickly and his eyes softened.
“Prenderò questo, si stresserà se rimane in aria troppo a lungo.” [I’ll take this one, it’ll get stressed if it's out in the air too long] whatever you said, Seb agreed with you, gently and carefully handing over the pink flower, his hands and fingers brushing against your a few times, which might have been on purpose.
“komm lass uns gehen. lass y/n in ruhe arbeiten.” [Come on, let's go. Leave y/n work in peace] The blond sighed, stepping off the greenery and onto the pavement to hose his legs off as your aunt walked his mom to the door.
“Fermati di nuovo qualche volta.” [Stop by again sometime] He didn’t even realize you’d walked right up to him. He gave you a little smile, still having no idea what you were saying but understanding your intentions.
If Sebastian could blush anymore than he already was, he would. You putting a little flower on his ear did it for him, and the smile you had as well as you waved before getting back to work.
Sebastian couldn’t erase the smile on his face, looking at the flower in his room all giddy like a girl in a romcom. He went to dinner and back, sitting at his desk and admiring the plant. It was a while before he realized something.
FLOWERS HAVE MEANINGS! Seb remembers seeing a book with the title having the word that looks like language. LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS!!
If Haike vettel didn’t know something was up, she did now. “Wohin gehst du?” [Where are you going?] she asked, standing in the kitchen to prepare dinner.
“zur Bibliothek.” [The library] Seb answered as he ran, jumping down the stairs and into his shoes, shouting a bye before shutting the door after him.
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“ähm … Hallo.” [uhm, hi] The blond greeted shyly once you opened the door. You greeted him with a smile and a ‘ciao’. The feeling of seeing your eyes light up once he held up the pot with the purple flowers. Morning glory was the flower. 'Affection’ was the meaning, to reply to your 'You’re lovely’
“Sono adorabili.” [They’re lovely] You smiled widely, taking them politely once he held them out for you, leaning in to smell a flower from the bunch. Sweet. it took you a second before it clicked in your head. The blush and bashful smile told Seb what he needed.
That was the first time Seb gave you flowers, but definitely not the last. You received them often, even when you’re in Italy. The boy never ceased to surprise you. It started off simple, like blue salvia (thinking of you) up till pink Camilla (longing for you). Seb remembers that pink Camilla day very well, the 2008 Italian grand prix.
He made a call to the florist near you the Friday night before and spent the morning worrying if you received the flowers or even understood them. He remembers sitting in his Torro Rosso on Sunday morning, playing with the Hello Kitty hair clip you gave him the year prior, fidgeting with it as it sat on his fireproof sleeve from under his race suit so he could sneakily wear it throughout the Grand Prix and maybe get a little luck to win the race he was starting from pole, in front of all the other hungry sharks.
His favorite part about that weekend was winning the Grand Prix with you watching, kissing the camera which he wished was you. He won your home grand prix, what possible flower could be waiting for him when he gets home?
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Despite already moving out from his parents home by this point in his Formula One career, Sebastian still went back. Spring was on its way and so were you.
You remember this day very well, you hadn’t even finished unpacking when the doorbell rang. You didn’t even have to check to see who it was, you were already running down the stairs and pulling the door open. Yours eyes lit up upon seeing the blue eyed blond, a giggle falling from your mouth as you stepped aside to let him in.
As he stepped inside, Sebastian pulled the small packet of seeds from behind his back. Yellow tulips. Your smile lit up your face as you excitedly pulled him to the garden before he could take his other shoe off.
Seb wasn't sure if he picked the right flower. He’d been standing at the local florist for an hour or so with his now own little language and archive of flowers book, trying to find the correct flower.
There’s sunshine in your smile , desperate love , hopeless love
Sebastian sighed internally, watching you walk around the garden in progress. He smiled when you returned. You held out your hands for him, and he complied, letting you give him the jonquil.
returned affection, love me, desire
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Ciaaaaao.” You called out through the flower shop once you heard the entrance door ding. You stepped out from behind the counter, feeling the whole room light up at the sight of your blond, hiding his face behind a bouquet of tulips.
“Seb!” You giggled, stepping towards him making the boy peek from behind the petals, a wide smile on his face. He giggled happily, lowering the bouquet, welcoming you in a hug. “Red tulips?” you thought, squeezing him in the hug briefly before pulling away and pressing a kiss to his cheek.
declaration of love
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Y/N,” Sebastian called gently, making you peel your eyes away from the stand of fruits in the busy farmers market. You looked at your husband who had an excited smile holding something behind his back.
“What are you hiding?” You scolded, trying to see, only to be met by a gorgeous pot of jasmine. “Sebastian,” you scolded, making the grown man pout. “What are we going to do with a jasmine tree? We have a whole meadow at home.”
“Read the flowers,” Seb scolded back playfully, nudging you. He'd think that after 12 years of marriage you'd still have all the meanings memorized.
unconditional and eternal love
“I think the bees will like these peaches, can you get me strawberries for the bumble bees? Potted ones.”
“Or we could just grow them.” Sebastian countered as he walked away only to be pulled back gently.
He smiled widely upon seeing you gently tuck a forget-me-not and a primrose in his hair above his ear. “Very well then.” the blond kissed your cheek before going to get the things you asked for.
eternal love, true love, I can’t live without you

ANOTHER ROTTMNT AU that I probably won't write
Turtles are Lou Jitsu/Big Mama's kids before turtle mutation
- b/c why the hell not
(Everything under the cut b/c apparently this is a long one)
start
- Basically Big Mama decides she'd rather have Lou join the battle nexus willingly than as a captive. (She likes the thing they have going on and would rather it not end anytime soon.)
- she introduced him to the Battle Nexus.
- After the shock wares off, he's fascinated by it. (The movies were great but he was getting bored.)
- Lou joins the Battle Nexus willingly and the two stay in a relationship (not married, just together.) (Some talk about how he's her pet champion but those that talk too loud end up disappearing.)
- As a result of their continued relationship, they end up having kids. 4 boys (the middle 2 being twins, of course)
(I can't decide if they have the same names or not so we'll skip that for now.)
- Now, a quick note for this AU. Part of the reason Yokai stopped interacting with humans was b/c whenever a hybrid was produced, they tended to be more human than Yokai. (Even more if a cloaking broach is involved. It throws in extra genetic variables so the offspring can end up inheriting traits from that as well.)
- The boys are no exception. They look human except for a few... oddities.
- Raph has the fluffy mint colored hair and red eyes of Big Mama's spider form. (Not fully red eyes.) He's also exceptionally strong, having once thrown a temper tantrum that resulted in throwing his entire crib across the room. He also likes to pick up his brothers and bodily carry them for no reason. Much to his parents panic upon finding the baby just missing.
- Leo is the oldest twin (by 2 minutes). He and Donny look the most human (with Lou's black hair and dark eyes) the only odditys being from the lavender purple spots on their skin they got from Big Mama's human form (think Leo's marks except more organic looking). (Tho they seemed to both start developing extra, spider like limbs by the time they're 1). Leo likes to follow around Big Mama whenever he can, often sitting on her lap during meeting and trying to mimic her facial expressions.
- Donny is the youngest twin. Again, mostly human looking. His purple spots are different then Leo (again his turtle markings but different, tho he does also have one over his right eye as well.) He is very frustrated about not having extra limbs like Big Mama. He is constantly wearing a spider themed backpack with little bouncy spider limbs as a result and will scream whenever it's removed.
- Mikey is the baby (obviously). He has Big Mama's human form hair and eyes, tho if u lift up his hair and there's 4 spider eyes on his forehead that he hasn't figured out how to open yet.
mutation day
- On mutation day, Raph is 2, the twins are a little over 1, and Mikey is 3 months.
- Draxum sends his gargoyles to grab Lou like originally planned.
- Huggins and Muggins arrive at the room, finding only the 4 boys asleep in their beds (Lou is currently arguing with Big Mama in another room about wanting to stop fighting for the boy’s sake.)
- Huggins and Muggins thinks one of the boys is Lou so, not knowing which it would be, grab all four.
- Draxum sees the four and realizes they’re Lou’s kids (but he’s not paying attention to gossip so he doesn’t realize they’re half yokai) and decides starting with a young human base might be more beneficial than an animal base.
- He has them each interact with the turtles he was going to mutate before mutating the children instead.
- Lou shows up just in time to see his boys mutated into turtles.
- Draxum is woefully unprepared for the fury Lou fights him with. He destroys the lab and steals his sons back, getting covered in mutagen as he does.
- He’s back in the NYC before he realizes that his boys are alright, just turtles, and that he’s now mutated into a rat-man.
- (Also that the mutation has overrode their yokai dna so they no longer have those traits)
- He can’t go back to Big Mama like this. He certainly can’t fight in the Nexus like this and she made it exceptionally clear that’s the only reason why she keeps him around (a lie but he doesn’t realize that)
- so he stays in the human world, eventually finding a decent place to hide in the sewers and raises his sons alone.
- he doesn’t talk about before they were mutated, keeping the only human(ish) picture he has of them hidden deep in the do-not-touch cabinet.
- If they assume they’ve always been turtles then, well, he doesn’t correct them. It was probably for the best anyways.
post mutation
-The boys were so young, they don’t really remember a before.
-Mikey definitely doesn’t.
- Leo doesn’t really either. His only memory being sitting on someone’s lap as they sat behind a big desk and made faces at weird men, but he assumes it’s just an old dream he can’t quite shake.
- Donny knows there was..something. He knows they used to look different (but not exactly how) and has a foggy memory of being caught pulling apart a new toy and a women praising him for being so smart. (he still is very much frustrated by lack of extra limbs, hence his spider limb battle shell, which was probably the first non-standard battle shell he designed.)
- Raph, without a doubt, remembers the most. He remembers they had a mom and how pops looked different back then. He remembers being chased by an owl man after escaping his watch. But he also remembers how mutation day felt, and is forever grateful his brothers do not.
Series
- series doesn’t really change much
- Big Mama never knew her boys got mutated (instead thinking Lou had taken them and left after their fight) so 13 years later, when 4 turtle mutants start causing trouble for her, she is exceptionally confused as to why she immediately thinks of her lost boys.
A strong one in red, carrying his brothers without thought
A clever one in blue, who seems to see right through her tricks like his mind works just like hers.
A smart purple one with fake spider limbs.
And an smiling orange one who trust his brothers without fault.
- She tries to keep them at the hotel to figure out why, but Blue is too clever for that.
- It’s not until she meets Lou/Splinter again does she put the puzzle pieces together.
- She doesn’t quite believe it until Blue cons her in her own game.
-after that, i’m not sure what would happen. maybe she would sit back and watch them from afar? Maybe she would continue her plans for a weird “they’re my kids, i know they can handle the challenge” sort of way? Either way she knows now. And she’s not going to be able to pretend that she doesn’t.
#rottmnt#rottmnt au#lou jutsu/big mama#i guess?#just adding a little traumatic backstories (TM) to the boys#also the idea of baby Donny having a spider limb backpack is very much adorable#i'll probably draw the babies at some point#if i do i'll link it#are kids that young supposed to remember stuff?#not sure#my memory is shit so i'm a horrible example#but i know people that remember things from like age 1#so it can't be that far off

Playing House
Media: Halloween Ends (2022)
Characters: Corey Cunningham (pre-2019 accident) x female reader
Rating: R or 18+ BECAUSE NO MINORS! Duh, get outta here if you’re not an adult!
CW: Submissive!Corey, Dom!Reader, mommy kink, implied lactation fetish (yeah oops), general mention of mommy issues, hair pulling, handjobs, cunnilingus, lots of general rough play and mean mean teasing... I’m so bad at CW’s...
Notes: I only read through this 2.5 times so if there are mistakes or general bad wording, I apologize. Other than that, y’all keep telling me what you like!
Tagging @nachtmahr666 dunno if this is your speed but here ya go!
It was rare to get to spend time with Corey. You only ever spotted him around town, most often biking to the park to work on internship applications and the like in peace. Outside of that, he seemed to have a short leash from his mother’s house. Nonetheless, anytime he popped up, his sweet but nerdy visage made you get hot. The way his nose crinkled under his heavy glasses, the way chewed on his nails with his head down, the way he always messed with his fluffy hair to get it to stay to the side… You wanted to nibble on him. No, eat him up.
“That’s a face for stepping on or sittin’ on,” you sometimes crassly joked to your friends. They rolled their eyes, not quite getting the appeal. Despite the jokes, you danced around the idea of even flirting with him, never quite acting on your desires.
The far and few moments you got to take him in was when the kids you both babysat had sleepovers. It was unnecessary to have two sitters at the same time, but the kids preferred the extra company, and the parents agreed two made the job easier.
Charlotte, the ten-year-old you looked after—who said you were “cooler than her sixth grade friends”—had offhandedly mentioned, one afternoon, that Elizabeth was staying over Friday night and that “Corey had to come too”.
Corey huh? Your brows perked up. Your thoughts drifted to the skittish, doe-eyed nerd who constantly pushed his glasses up his nose, had Yoo-Hoo bottles sticking out of his backpack, and could spew random information about spacecrafts unprompted. You felt so dumb and silly that reminders of him like those got you excited.
“I think he’s kind of a geek,” Charlotte rattled on, “All he does is read books about computers or whatever. But Elizabeth said he’s nice and lets her stay up late to watch PG-13 movies. So I guess he’s okay.”
You smiled at that, suddenly a bit more interested in working Friday night.
——
Corey hadn’t biked over like he usually did to most places. His mother had dropped him off at the house you two were sitting at, no doubt wanting to make sure things “looked safe”. You saw her face in the shadows of the car as he made his way up the front steps. It was unclear if she was looking at you directly, but you could feel her judging sneer. There was no trust for any other person with her son, but that went doubly for young women.
Moving from the front window where you had been peeping, you scurried to the door, eager to get there before Charlotte or her parents. Without meaning to, you pulled the door open before Corey had a chance to knock, resulting in him getting startled and stumbling back.
“Ah! Oh hey,” he spoke after composing himself. You smirked at how he straightened out his glasses.
“Hi,” you greeted in an overly sweet tone.
“Ready for an exciting night?” he commented with a sarcastic chuckle. The comment was a bit tone deaf, as he had just no idea how exciting you hoped it would be.
——
“Well… the kids are already asleep, which didn’t take much. Not too much else to do.” You grinned, wicked and flirtatious.
The girls had retired early to the bedroom upstairs. They may have realistically been up still, gossiping or reading diary excerpts or something silly. But it was no matter. They were busy with their own things and probably more than happy to be left alone… as were you.
“I could still make some popcorn,” Corey shrugged with a sheepish expression. That was the exact reaction you expected from him.
“I mean… I could still play babysitter,” you went on, laying the playful innocence on thick. “Come on, Corey, we can play house.” You lowered your lids, shooting a hot glance at him. “I can babysit you.”
“Haha, what… what’s that supposed to mean?” There was an awkward nervousness in his voice.
The space between the two of you closed as you extended your arms towards him. You cupped his cheeks and squeezed, mimicking the way one would admire a precious little animal. Behind his thick rimmed glasses, Corey did indeed have big, dark puppy-dog eyes, and at this moment, they seemed chipper but confused.
“Well, I have to get this thing—this paper—done,” he bumbled, “so we can turn on a movie while I do that… And…”
You shook your head, your lips curling up devilishly. You were gonna bite the bullet this time and go for it. “No, we’re not going to do that.” You shook your head. You noticed how flushed he was becoming.
“Um… What…”
You cut off his trailing words by lunging towards him, pinning him under your sprawled legs. Reaching both hands down on his wrists, you clamped him onto the couch. His eyes widened, and you could swear his glasses were fogging up ever so slightly. Under your skirt, hiding the intimacy of your crotch over his, your actions were validated by a growing bulge pressing against your tender spots.
“Heh, what’re you doing?” he tried to play off his awkwardness with a laugh.
“What are you doing?” you replied, emphasizing your point by grinding into his hardness.
He tried pushing you off gently to get up. “Stop kidding around.” He swung his legs off the side of the couch as you slid off his lap, much to your dismay. But you weren’t giving up.
“I’m not kidding, little boy.” With both hands, you gave him a solid push to the floor. You looked around quickly to make sure it didn’t alert the girls.
His face at first expressed protest and indignation, but he narrowed his eyes, glaring over his frames. Slowly, he bit his lip, taking in the situation. You noted that he was still visibly hard—more so than initially.
“Do you want to have fun?” you asked sweetly. “Are you going to be good?” You walked towards him cautiously and pressed your shoe to his neck. To your surprise, he tilted his head back, welcoming the rough touch.
“Yes… mommy…” The last word was embarrassingly mumbled, hushed. You felt how he swallowed tensely, the subtle movement in his throat tight under the sole of your shoe.
“What was that?” you snipped, sharp but still with a slight teasing laugh. It was partially a mask, though. The truth was, the surprising response turned you on instantly. This was interesting…
“Yes mommy,”Corey breathed out, dragging out his words with both intention and shame.
That did it. In a swift motion, you removed your foot from his throat and grabbed at the hair on the crown of his head.
“Call me that again,” you instructed.
“Mommy,” he muttered, face becoming rosier. Pulling against your grasp, he craned his head towards your chest, first exploring a bit of bare skin with his tongue… then raking teeth along the upper curve of your breast.
You clawed at his brown hair again, bringing him to face you. “What are you doing?” You did your best to keep a stern, domineering air.
“I… I want a taste…” His voice slanted into somewhat of a whine, desperate, ashamed, and aroused. His hesitant hands drifted to feel up your breasts. You did want to feel those sharp little teeth on your skin, tickling and stinging, with intermittent brushes from those lips. It wound you up how animal-like his pointed teeth were, always contrasting his sweet, wide smile. He had the grin of a wolf, and the demeanor of a pup.
“You wait,” you warned, temporarily releasing his tufts of hair. There was no graceful way to expose your chest, so you rolled your shirt and bra up to your clavicle. Once in position, your hand clamped the back of Corey’s head and pressed his face into your bosom.
With ferocity, he nipped and sucked on your soft flesh, letting his tongue run messy, wet circles around your nipples. You never could have imagined such lust-driven, feral behavior from him.
It struck you (at a rather weird moment) that this must have intermingled with Corey’s complicated issues with his mother. And maybe also his affinity for drinking milk. But that was a lot to unpack, possibly for later. If you even cared to revisit the thought at all. It all felt too good, too nasty to care.
“I just wanna drag you around and keep you on your knees,” you grunted, letting your near-incoherent, secret musings float to the surface. Part of you wanted to laugh a little. While he wasn’t a particularly tall guy, he was still bigger than you. The visual of leading him around was a bit silly but it also sent a small twinge deep within you.
At the words, Corey moved to face you, slipping down from your breasts, sliding his hands down to your thighs. Roughly, you pushed him further down, until he was kneeling before you. His eyes peered up at you deliciously through a few loose strands. The usually combed hair had become tussled, letting some of his natural curls come free.
“Am I being good?” he asked, voice somehow soft but deep at the same time.
You responded with yet another tug on his fluffy hair. This time, you could see him wincing harder, brows raising in pain, eyes watering. “Good boys do what they’re told,” you went on. “Will you do what Mommy says?”
He nodded, a tear escaping off one of his fluttering lashes. The tears weren’t uncomfortable—you wanted to make sure it wasn’t going too far. No, the dimples framing his mouth lengthened in a deviant, pleased smile. There was a mix of emotions in the expression, but desire and relief were definitely a couple.
You let him go, as he sat back onto his heels, still facing your lap. As you pulled his glasses off and flung them aside, you lowered yourself to the couch, opening your lap to him. Immediately, he reached a hand forward, fixing to pull back the hem of your panties, but you slapped him away.
“You wait,” you chastised again. His expression turned to a bratty pout in response. There were those dewy eyes peering out from under heavy lids.
In an intentionally slow performance, you slid the simple black panties off, giving a final kick of the fabric past Corey’s shoulder. “Is this what you want?”
He nodded patiently.
“Then you have to ask like a good boy,” you told him, in a serious, hushed tone. You all were already doing the best to be quiet, but you dropped your instructions just below a whisper. To be extra cheeky, extra teasing, you traced your fingers from his forehead, to his cheek, to his lips.
He melted into the sensation, but being mindful enough to straighten up and keep his hands behind his back while kneeling. “Please?” he breathed out, eyes closed.
The response came in you gripping his chin and pulling him towards your open legs. Corey hesitantly tested the waters, approaching slowly first with his tongue. He went through the motion like he was taking his first lick off an ice cream cone. His tongue smoothed between your folds and worked up, slipping up and around your clit. The rhythm and pressure were just right, almost as if he was trying to match every throb. He began to switch up sensations, plunging that tongue deep within, lapping up your wetness. What had almost instantly done you in was when he went to suck directly on your rosy little clit, teeth grazing, full lips enveloping, the works. That was your weakness. Your thighs involuntarily tightened around his face.
It wasn’t supposed to happen so soon, but you were overtaken by the power and overstimulation. You caught yourself panting hard, clawing into Corey’s hair again, needing something to grab onto.
Finally, your heartbeat had started to settle, but your breathing was still hard. Corey emerged from your thighs, pink lips glossy with your wetness. His eyes looked up, needy. Fatigue had thwarted your ability to speak, but you moved to take charge once more. Sliding from the couch, you pushed him back against the floor, settling atop his lap this time, hands acting fast to undo his pants. The process was hurried, both from the need for instant, animal release, but also because he had already wet his pants with precum. Once his length was exposed, you placed a firm grip around the tender skin, matching your strokes to his desperate thrusting. Poor Corey was so hungry for the release that he began to whine and grunt. Hot tears trickled down the sides of his temples, dotting the carpet beside him.
“Shhh,” you hushed, half-forcefully and half-dotingly. You cupped your free hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. He looked so weak, so pathetic under the dominance of your hands. But he wanted every touch, and he would give in to your every demand for the pleasure.
His back arched against the floor, thrashing into orgasm. Hot streams trickled over your hand and onto his own sweat-slicked skin, spilling over his hip bones and into his navel. Once you had lifted your hand from his mouth, his gasping sounded more intense. All he could do was stare up at you, dazed.
Keeping up the act, at least for one more minute, you offered a small smile, wiping your hand on his pants. “You should clean yourself up,” you suggested, as you got up to leave the room. You intended to freshen up yourself and return as if nothing weird had happened at all.
Looking over your shoulder before exiting, you could see an exhausted Corey bite his lip.
“Are we… gonna play house again next weekend?” he questioned with a bashful smile.
“Only if you’re good,” you replied.

completed requests!
“Stick to the plan, Y/N.” Steve’s voice came through over the intercom. She rolled her eyes at his warning. He always seemed to be extra cautious with her, making her feel like an unimportant member of the team, and this mission was no different.
“I got this,” she said, completely ignoring his request and charging headfirst at the enemy. Her brash decision resulted in her receiving a heavy beat down, ending up with a split lip and fractured ribs.
Needless to say, Steve was pissed. He and Y/N developed a close friendship over the years, during his search for Bucky. She was oftentimes the one who would stay up all night with him, looking for any trace of Bucky’s existence online. She’d become one of the closest people in his life, which is exactly why he was upset with her, endangering her own life.
After the mission, he confronted her at the base camp.
“You could’ve gotten killed!”
“But I didn’t,” she snapped back. “And the mission was a success anyways, so I don’t get why you’re so mad right now.”
Steve closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing.
“It’s reckless behavior like this that’s eventually going to get you killed, Y/N.”
Bucky walked into the room and immediately regretted his decision as soon as he laid his eyes on Y/N. He’d come to foster an animosity towards her, after seeing her close friendship with Steve. After Bucky joined the Avengers, he noticed how much time they spent together, and jealousy started to fester within him. Steve was the only person he felt comfortable being around in the tower and she constantly took him away from Bucky. Everyone else seemed to have an aversion to him, or so he assumed. He never gave anyone the chance to get to know him, locking himself up in his room most hours of the day. Bucky didn’t think anyone would want to get to know an ex-assassin, especially one that killed the Tony Stark’s parents. She was the one thing that kept Steve away from him and he despised it. So Bucky did what he did best and avoided any sort of interaction with her.
Steve looked at Bucky and suddenly, an idea popped in his head. He had noticed how closed-off Bucky had been since joining the Avengers and refused to let Y/N be alone, worried that she might make another brazen decision. He hatched a plan to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
“Bucky,” Steve said, making his way over to him. “You and Y/N will be assigned to the same room tonight.”
Bucky choked on his own spit in response and Y/N began to protest.
“You’re not serious, right?” Steve turned to face her with a stern expression.
“You’re not giving me any reason to trust you to be alone.” She let out a defeated sigh and crossed her arms across her chest.
“Why me?” Bucky asked, trying to figure out how he ended up in this situation.
Steve placed a hand on Bucky’s shoulder and looked into his eyes. “Because I trust you, Buck. I need you to do this for me.”
Bucky could see the desperation in Steve’s eyes and reluctantly nodded.
Steve was able to obtain another key card to the hotel room that Y/N was assigned to for the mission. He forgot to take into account the logistics of the sleeping arrangements, leaving Bucky to find a single bed as he entered Y/N’s room.
Bucky froze, his right hand on the door handle, keeping it open, his left hand by his side, holding his duffel bag. He racked his brain, trying to figure out what to do, when Y/N’s voice pulled him from his thoughts.
“Relax,” she started, motioning for him to come inside. “I’ll sleep on the floor, alright?”
Y/N knew that Bucky didn’t like her, despite Steve trying to convince her otherwise. It hurt her feelings a bit, especially after she’d learned so much about him through both Steve’s stories and the time she spent tracking him down. He was such an important person to Steve, her close friend, and Bucky hated her. At first, she figured he was shy and wasn’t ready to open up to anyone else, especially after all the trauma he endured. But she realized he actively disliked her over time, with Bucky always leaving the room when she entered or ignoring her offers to hang out with her and Steve. Eventually, she gave up on reaching out to Bucky, as she only seemed to upset him further, no matter what she did. She figured it was for the best.
Bucky stepped into the room and shook his head.
“Bed’s too soft for me anyways, I’ll take the floor,” he grumbled.
Y/N shrugged in response, knowing that Bucky would be too stubborn to try and argue against. She turned around and picked up the phone, calling the front desk to ask for extra blankets and pillows. When she hung up the phone, she turned back to Bucky to see him nod in thanks.
The rest of the night was silent, as they both prepared for bed, taking turns going into the bathroom to wash up and change. While Y/N was in the bathroom, Bucky arranged the extra blankets and pillows into a makeshift bed on the ground, something that he’d done countless times before. Y/N exited the bathroom in an oversized t-shirt that covered her shorts, and placed her toiletries bag in one of the hotel dresser drawers.
“Bathroom’s all yours.” Bucky grunted in response, grabbing some clothes and a bag headed for the bathroom.
“Don’t do anything stupid,” he stated, just before shutting the door behind him. Y/N scoffed at his comment, gently climbing into bed, in an attempt to not further injure her ribs. She winced as she tried to get into a comfortable position before settling to sleep on the side of her unaffected ribs.
Bucky emerged from the bathroom to see Y/N lying on her left side, her back towards him. He assumed that she had already fallen asleep and quietly crawled into his makeshift bed.
Approximately 10 minutes had passed, when he heard her sniffling. At first, he thought the noise was coming from outside the window, but he traced it back to her. He remained lying on his back for a moment, deciding whether or not to say something. Bucky sighed before speaking.
“You okay?” Y/N immediately stiffened upon hearing Bucky’s voice. She was hoping that he wouldn’t hear her crying, despite his super soldier hearing abilities.
“Yeah, ‘m fine,” she replied back, her voice wavering as she spoke. Y/N hated how weak and pathetic she sounded in that moment. Her fractured ribs made it hard for her to breathe and the adrenaline, that was previously shielding her from the pain, had faded, leaving her to lie there in agony. On top of that, she also felt that this mission solidified her belief that Steve had little faith in her ability to be an Avenger. The last thing she wanted to do right now, was to confess her insecurities to Bucky.
Bucky’s attitude softened, hearing Y/N’s voice crack when she spoke. He knew she’d gotten hurt due to her own, dumb, decision during the mission. Bucky quietly pulled his blankets off and stood up, leaving the room without saying another word. As soon as the door shut, Y/N burst into tears. Bucky did exactly as he’d done in the past many times before, leave. She wasn’t sure why this time upset her more than the rest. Probably because she knew that he was aware of her crying and he’d still chosen to abandon her completely.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door opening, causing her to stop crying. Y/N listened to Bucky’s footsteps growing closer, and felt the bed dip under his weight as he sat on the edge she was facing towards. She peered over the blanket she was covering her face with, to see Bucky facing her, holding a bag of ice, wrapped in a towel. Bucky’s heart sank at the sight of her glossy eyes and tear stained cheeks in the moonlight.
“For your ribs,” he spoke softly, gesturing to the ice bag in his hands.
“Oh. Thank you.”
Y/N took the bag from him, attempting to slowly sit up. She closed her eyes as she grimaced, and suddenly felt a hand on her back, helping her up. Her eyes opened to reveal Bucky, with a soft smile on his lips. She silently thanked him again, placing the ice bag on the right side of her ribcage.
“Thought you hated me,” she mumbled, keeping her gaze down on her lap. He furrowed his brows, keeping his eyes on her.
“I don’t hate you.”
“Well, you definitely don’t like me.”
Bucky paused at her comment, thinking about his next words, before responding.
“I don’t like that you take up all of Steve’s free time,” he grumbled, causing Y/N to quickly look up at Bucky, his eyes averting her gaze. Her face fell, immediately realizing why Bucky had treated her so coldly all this time. He just missed his friend.
“I’m so sorry, Bucky.” She placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked up at her in response. “I didn’t realize, I’m sorry.”
Bucky didn’t know what to say. He wasn’t expecting her to be so kind and understanding, even coming up with multiple points to argue back at her. He realized then that he didn’t know her at all, but that he wanted to now. In an instant, she became an entirely different person. He studied her eyes and wondered if they had always sparkled like that, if her cheeks were naturally rosy, or if her lips had always been so pink and plump.
His expression softened and he cleared his throat. “It’s fine,” he muttered, tearing himself away from her gaze to look down at his lap. After a moment of silence, Bucky stood up to return back to the floor.
“Stay.” The words left Y/N’s mouth before she had time to process them. Bucky froze and turned to face her. “I mean, if you want to, of course. Just figured the floor must be super uncomfortable for you.” Y/N felt a blush creep up onto her cheeks and kicked herself mentally. She looked down at her hands, regretting the words she spoke, before feeling the bed dip again. She looked up to see Bucky. He smiled and she almost melted at the sight.
She shifted over, putting the ice bag on the nightstand, as Bucky crawled into bed next to her. The two rested on their backs, both staring at the ceiling in silence. Bucky remained at a respectful distance away, not wanting to overstep any boundaries. Y/N turned on her left side, her good side, to face him.
“I’m glad you don’t hate me.”
Bucky turned on his side to face her before responding.
“I don’t think I could ever hate you.”
A strand of her hair had fallen in front of her face and Bucky, instinctively, reached out a hand to tuck it behind her ear. Immediately, he regretted it, about to pull his hand back when Y/N took her hand and placed it on top of his, guiding it to rest on her cheek. He cupped her face in his hand and she leaned into his embrace. Bucky felt his heart rate increase as she moved her body closer to his, wrapping the arm she used to hold his hand on her face, across his side. He shifted towards her as well, wrapping his arm around her body, bringing her closer to him.
“Is this okay?” He whispered, nervous that he might have somehow misinterpreted the situation. He hadn’t been with a woman in such an intimate way in years and had no idea what he was doing. Y/N looked up at him and nodded, before snuggling her face into his chest and Bucky felt a wave of calm wash over him.
“Can you stay here tonight?” Y/N mumbled, her face pressed into his chest. He chuckled at the vibrations from her voice and kissed her temple, smoothing her hair back.
“I’ll stay as long as you want me to, honey.”

All I Want
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader (Andrew Garfield Peter/TASM Peter)
Warning: Bit of angst, no spoilers, not one of my best- might delete.
Notes: I’m not entirely sure if I like this one or not.
***
You’d first become friends when he’d awkwardly asked to sit next to you in a library. You were reading a book but had a notebook open in front of you with jotted down quotes and snippets of what Peter assumed was your brainstorming
“Can I…”
You looked up from your book. “Sure,” you shrugged and whilst going back to your book you held out a bag of sweets
“Want one? Help yourself. You’d be doing me a favour if you ate the green ones though, ever since they’ve swapped from apple to lime they’ve gone down”
Peter smiled “Green happens to be my favourite,”
“I would say you have terrible taste but you’re probably the best person to share a pack with in that case. I’m [Name],”
“Peter Parker” he offered a half wave.
A copy of the Daily Bugle folded under his arm caught your eye.
“You read that crap?” You scrunched your face up “Jameson is the worst,”
Peter raked a hand through his fluffy dark hair “Yeah… he’s…something alright…You’re not a fan?”
“Hell no” you snorted. “Guys a loon,”
“You’re telling me? you ever met him,” Peter shared a wry smile. Jameson was indeed a bit of a loon. He’d on one occasion thrown Peters stack of images out of the window all because he didn’t manage to get a picture of Spider-Man “helping” the getaway driver. Jameson had convinced himself that by focusing on catching the robber with the money rather than the man in the idling truck, Spider-Man was involved with the robber
“God no,” you cackled “I don’t think J Jonah Jameson and I run in the same circles, thank god, you don’t look like the kinda guy who’d read this,” you joked.
You nodded at the research notes he’d also had placed on the table between you.
“You have all those science looking notes, you gotta be smart”
“Im…” he protested quickly “I’ve erm…just got a second job working for him… freelance photography…but it’s extra money, I help my aunt out and…” he trailed off “rents expensive”
“Oh shit I’m sorry” you stated so matter of factly that it took Peter a moment to click you meant “I’m sorry you have to work with that guy” rather than “I’m sorry your boss is insane,”
You’d realised you lived close in the city and you’d been friends ever since…and Peter had liked you as more than a friend since about a week after that.
***
You were soon inseparable, you’d go out for food, for walks, to movies. Hed come over to yours and often fall asleep on your couch and wake up the next morning with a perfectly timed coffee and a blanket over him.
It hadn’t gone unnoticed by May that he’d made a new friend. She was grateful he was finally doing something other than work and visit her. You’d picked him up from her place once and May was quick to notice the reaction her nephew had to you. She hadnt seen him like that since his former girlfriend. Given how she’d passed and how Peter seemed to avoid any sign of romance, she was a little surprised.
When he’d returned for dinner she’d invited you in and whilst you were parking, she gently pried to see if there was something more but Peter had just shrugged and told her he didn’t think you liked him that way.
By the end of the evening, she knew the answer. Long before you did.
***
The day you told Peter you were going on a date, he felt an ache in a part of his heart he’d thought was long since numb to any semblance of heartbreak.
His name was Liam Parsons. You’d met in a coffee shop.
The second he’d arrived home, Peter had fired up his laptop. From looking at his google search results, Liam was a once divorced art dealer, 6’2”, blonde hair slicked back with almost an entire tub of hair gel. He seemed to wear almost exclusively Hugo Boss suits and Rolex watches. He had a Porsche, a speedboat and a holiday home in the Cayman Islands.
Peter slammed his laptop screen shut with more force than necessary and took off into the night to patrol the streets. In a rare moment of peace, he found himself swinging over to one of the penthouses Parsons lived in and staring at the shadows moving inside.
It was 11PM and he wondered if you were one of them and shook the thought from his head. The implications of you going home with Liam was not something he wanted to think about.
He wondered what you saw in Liam. You never were impressed by rich, flashy guys so what did this guy have? Peter couldn’t decide what would be worse. Liam being a good guy as well as having everything or if you were just dating him for the fun lifestyle that he could never ever offer you.
He didn’t care. Liam could keep the nice car and the fancy penthouse, the seven figure salary and the beachside villa. All Peter wanted was you.
***
That night Peter watched you from a rooftop, Liam was beside you, one arm casually over your shoulder as he chatted to another man in a suit with a too tight shirt.
You looked beautiful in that black dress. You always looked beautiful. Peter couldn’t remember a time when you weren’t the most lovely person he’d ever seen. It would have been before he met you.
Even from a distance he could picture the favourite red lipstick you’d have worn, from how often he’d looked at your lips, he could pick the shade out of a million. He knew the way you’d have curled your hair carefully but you could never get that one bit right first time, so many times he’d wanted to be the one to reach over and fix it back for you.
You looked cold and uncomfortable and Peter could tell by how you were shifting that your feet were starting to hurt in your heels. He felt a pang of annoyance he knew was unjustified. Liam was still talking away, whilst you rubbed your arm, awkwardly.
If he was your boyfriend, he’d offer you his jacket and carry you home. Unable to watch anymore, he leapt off, swinging into the night.
He loved you for your details. The way you pinched your ear lobe when you were nervous, the way you had five different smiles depending on your mood or who you were with, the way you were so unashamedly honest, the way you once told him you hated an iconic movie for ending on a cliffhanger in such a casual way, the way you went out of your way to help anyone who needed it without having to be asked.
Watching you with another person was like the worst gut punched he’d ever felt.
***
He took to watching Liam from a distance. Sometimes you were there, sometimes he was just making sure Liam wasn’t some sort of criminal. A part of Peter wished he was. The jealousy was unbearable sometimes. How cruel was fate to give him his perfect match in every way but he couldn’t.
Why didn’t he kiss you on the evening when you’d sat together watching the sun come up after a night of watching lame movies. Why didn’t he pull you in closer when you’d fallen asleep on his shoulder when you’d had a picnic in Central Park. Why didn’t he tell you how stupidly, insanely, irrevocably in love with you he was when you’d sat on his fire escape with him for three hours because he’d couldn’t sleep. Why didn’t he thank you for being the best thing in his life when you comforted him over the phone when he spent nights reliving the worst moments of his life.
***
It carried on like this, a week, maybe two passed, and you’d visited his as normal and the whole way through the time you spent together, Peter could barely concentrate. Each minute ticking closer to when you’d leave felt like a step closer and closer to losing you.
He feared when you’d step out the door, he’d never get a chance to say what he needed to.
So he acted on instinct to stop you going.
“Don’t go”
Flicking your eyes from your hand now webbed to the door to Peter and back, Your expression was one of pure shock, Peter could almost see the cogs turning, processing every clue he’d ever dropped.
“It’s you,”
Peter nodded once. “Yeah, it’s me,”
“What the FUCK,” then you tacked on “I don’t know how I didn’t notice”
“I need to tell you something…I forgot…” he hesitated. He could hear the cars below and the neighbours and the blood rush in his ears. “Actually I remembered what I had to say,”
And with a surge of confidence he kissed you, one hand in your hair. “I love you”.
It was short but passionate and said everything he could ever need to say and when he pulled back, you were a little breathless
“So… any thoughts… can you say something… anything about any of this?”
“You’re Spider-Man? And you’re in love with me?”
“Yes” Peter “to both. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, I didn’t want you to get hurt but…” his eyes searched for a reaction in your face “Don’t be with Liam, leave him, be with me, I know it’s selfish but I don’t care… I love you, You’re the first person I think about in the morning and the last person I think about at night, All I want is to make sure you’re safe, All I want is you to be happy, I never ever want to spend another day without you as my girlfriend, I’m so so so crazy about you, You’re it for me, I never thought I’d ever love someone again, until I fell in love with you,”
“Pete” you stared at him then started laughing.
“What. What’s happening” he was panicked now. “Shit did I say too much”
“I ended things with Liam. Last week. He was nice…but I ended things because I couldn’t ever see myself in love with him…mostly because I’m in love with someone else,”
“Oh..Oh,” Peter raked a hand down his face “Well I erm, I hope he’s good enough for you or… yknow, I’ll have words” he gestured
“he’s tall, he’s dark haired, total science geek- i love listening to him talk about experimenting even if I don’t understand it, and he reads every single draft poem I send him, he’s my best friend, he helps people, everyone and asks for nothing in return, I never cared about falling for someone or finding love until I realised that was because I was already in love with someone, him”
Peter was staring at you and a smile spread over his face.
“You… you mean me right”
“Of course i mean you, you idiot” you joked
“I love you,” he stressed again “I’m sorry it took so long for me to catch up,” he stepped in close and pressed his forehead to yours.
“I forgive you” you teased “Now can you get my hand off the door? I think we have some making up for lost time to do”

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Naughty Wolf (m)
Wolf!Baji x Red Riding Hood!Reader
18+ fic minors dni
Red Riding Hood is a title given to those with the duty of delivering food, crops, livestock, etc. to the wolves in exchange for the protection of the village. But what if you met one of those wolves?
CW: Sexual Content, biting, hair pulling
Word Count: 15,010 (yeesh haha)
A/N: I haven't written anything in a loooong time haha. Also forgive my smut scenes they aren't my forte when it comes to writing. English is also not my first language so have mercy if I made any mistake haha. And lastly @kazutoraholic here's the result of that little thirst post you had about Wolf!Baji hahaha hope you enjoy this too.
In a map of a far away kingdom, there is a dense forest that not many have travelled to. There have been so many sightings of large monsters and predators out for prey. Beasts so strong even the strongest knights cannot defeat. Said beasts has been observed to only reside in the forest not wandering outside so they just left it be. But in the middle of said forest resides a quaint village. As most would assume how could this village survive in such an environment where beasts of great magnitude reside? Well they don’t. They’ve enlisted the help of the “wolves” of the area whom have taken the responsibility of protecting the villagers from outside intruders from entering the village.
Mighty generous some would say but alas, their services are not for free. They have demanded to be provided some crops and livestock from the village every two weeks. And that’s where Red Riding Hoods enter. They are responsible of dropping off said supplies at a certain drop off inside the forest. Red Riding Hoods must be able to easily navigate through the dense forest for faster delivery of the supplies. They don a red hood as an indicator that they are allies to the wolves so as to not to mistakenly attack them.
One of those Red Riding Hoods happens to be your grandmother. She would be leaving for quite a while and come back with great stories of her adventures through the forest. It could be as great as catching sight of the mightily beasts or as mundane as finding a rare herb, you soaked it all up earning you a great curiosity what’s beyond those dense forest. She even mentioned coming across a wolf pup who wouldn’t let her go until she gave him some food. You both laughed at the story while also telling you not to tell anyone and it’ll be your little secret. She emphasized how the wolves are very private creatures and doesn’t really like interacting with humans. She brings life and wonder of what’s beyond the forest and not just a habitat of dangerous beasts.
But one day, your grandmother never made it home. She disappeared. She never came back from delivering the supplies. There’s a rule where once a Red Riding Hood haven’t returned in a week, they are presumed dead and a new Red Riding Hood is titled. A rule some would say is absurd, but considering how dangerous the forest is it seemed to make sense. And most cases where Red Riding Hoods not returning, they either end up found dead or still missing.
Your grandmother’s disappearance could be enough to drive you away from the forest, but you still have hope that she’s still out there. So you resorted to ways where you could go into the forest without trouble. Become a Red Riding Hood.
The only knowledge you have of the forest is your grandmother’s stories which does give information but not enough to get you to be a master navigator. SO you spent the rest of your teenage years studying about navigating and studying the on the forest that is available. After years and years of studying, you finally find yourself fit to be a Red Riding Hood. Teachers and Professors are willing to put in a good word for you when you applied to be a Red Riding Hood. And after going through a tedious process of paperwork and testing, you finally did it. You are now a Red Riding Hood. You may be doing it because you want closure on your grandmother’s disappearance, but you still felt that childlike giddiness now that you’re just like your amazing grandmother.
And here you are at the village gates waiting for the gates to open to enter the forest. Nervous and excited, that’s what you are. You’ve always been a curious little bean, so seeing more of the forest beyond just illustrations and books is beyond exciting. But you’re also nervous because who wouldn’t be when the most dangerous forest in the kingdom is right there where wild beasts could maul you anytime. So yeah, nervous and excited. To calm your nerves, you resorted to count the supplies and double…well triple check in this case.
“Nervous?” a man in knight uniform approached you.
“Atsushi! Yes. Seeing the forest up close like this is…”you looked up and took a view of the forest “pretty intimidating”
“Ah I told you Akkun is fine. Might as well get familiar with each other since I’ll be escorting you to the gates from now on. And if it’s any consolation, this is my first time being near the forest too.”
You chuckled at his nervous face when gazing at the forest which you can definitely relate too. Knowing someone else might relate to you comforted you a little.
“Welp! Off I go then!” you said cheerfully trying to ignore your nerves.
“Take care okay. And thank you for your service to the village.”
“An honor to serve the village. See ya!” you said before taking off.
You’ve been travelling for two days and you came to one conclusion. You were definitely being followed. You don’t really have any evidence you were being followed but you can just feel it. You barely slept last night, but at least you’re already at the drop off point. So you quickly did your tasks so you can travel back home already and hopefully not get mauled by a beast.
Just as you were thinking of that, you heard leaves from a branch rustle. Your face paled and your body was paralyzed. ‘Not on my first day please not on my first day” you pleaded with your eyes closed. You slowly opened your eyes and turned your head towards the direction of the rustle.
You came into eye contact with a guy. No wait, uh, he has dog or maybe was it wolf ears. He must probably one of the wolves. But when learning about the wolves you assumed they would look more…wolf-like and not human-like.
“Hey.” The guy? Dog? Wolf? Said trying to get your attention
“Uhm, can I- can I help you?” you hoped you said that loud enough for him to hear you still were shocked of what you came across.
“Ya got food on ya?”he asked and stepping out from the bush.
“Yea, I just locked it in the drop off point.”
He looked at the drop off point and looked back at you. “That’s great! But what I mean is a spare food you guys have a lot of those right?” he said with somewhat an excited look on his eyes. You even caught a glimpse of his wagging tail behind him.
“Well the food on me is for me while I travel.” You explained while patting your bag.
“Aww. How about a bite then?” he asked stepping near your bag and sniffing a little which caused him to drool a bit.
“No can do, sorry”
“A nibble then?” he asked crouching down next to your bag and looking up at you giving you the puppy eyes. You almost cooed out loud because admittedly he looked cute looking like that. You shook your head “N-no” you faltered.
As you said that, his face turned into a frown and his ears started to droop down. ‘Oh no not the ears, not the ears! Hhnnggg those cute ears and those fluffy hair aagghh!’You sighed and reached for your bag “Alright, fine”
“Hell yeah!” he stood up and took the sandwich you handed him with bright eyes. It isn’t a problem really; you made extra the amount of food for your travels to gauge how much you’ll need for next time. As the guy devoured the sandwich, you started to observe him. Long dark hair one of the noticeable trait of his after his ears. Sharp canines which he made great use of while eating, and amber eyes which were now looking at you. ‘Oh’ how long have you been staring at him? You felt yourself blush at the thought of getting caught but brushed it off.
“So, I hope you enjoyed it!”you tried making conversation
The guy gave you a smile that showed off his canines. “Definitely! It was just as good as your grandmother’s haha.” He said while patting his tummy.
“Wait-huh? My grandmother’s?”
“Was she not your grandmother? There used to be a nice old lady who gave me food all the time when she goes here.”
‘Could it be?!’
“A-are you by chance talking about my grandmother?!” you asked enthusiastically getting close to him in the process…well maybe too close judging by the fact that he stepped back a little.
“Yes…” he said now the one thinking you’re strange
“H-h-how do you know my grandmother and I were related?” your thoughts were going a mile a minute that turning those thoughts into words is a bit of a struggle.
“Well, you both smelled similar.”
“Eh?”
“Your scent.”
You stared at him before backing away and covering yourself “Have you been sniffing me?!”
“Wha- I was sniffing your bag I just got a whiff of you!”
“And how were you able to do that?!”
“I’m a wolf!”
“Oh” you realized feeling a little bit dumb. But at least you got a confirmation of what he is.
The guy in front of you sighed and said “Why don’t we start over. I’m Baji Keisuke, one of the wolves defending you village from the forest a pleasure to meet you.” He held out his hand for you to shake, which you accepted. “Gotta say, didn’t expect for you guys to change the Red Riding Hood so soon.”
Feeling like some tension was taken off, you decided to be friendly. “What can I say, I guess I impressed the village head with my top notch navigating skills.” you giggled at your faux arrogance which also earned the now named Baji a chuckle.
“So… you knew my grandmother?”
“I knew her as that nice lady with good food, other than that I don’t really remember much, was just a pup after all.”
Ah, you remember now. You recall your grandmother telling you stories about a wolf pup always bothering her until he gets food. With how he acted earlier, you definitely can connect the dots now.
“So how is she? Haven’t seen her for a long time.”
At that you felt yourself get sad for a bit. “I was hoping you would know something about it actually.”
He raised his brow at that statement “What do you mean?”
You looked at him before saying “She…she went missing. Here in the forest.”
“Oh. I see.” He said while looking down having a guess on what happened
“Don’t look so down, I still have hope that she’s still somewhere out there!” you declared full of confidence, you were determined to get to the bottom of your grandmother’s disappearance and Baji could sense that.
“Mind if I join you in that little quest of yours?”
You looked at him in surprise and delight you grabbed his hands and looked at him with bright eyes “Really?! You would do that?” you asked brimming with gratefulness.
Baji blushed a little bit at the sudden contact and proximity but you were just so excited to get help from someone that has a connection to your grandmother outside of the village that you failed to notice his flustered face. “Of course. Consider that as payment from the snack you gave me.”
“Oh you don’t have to worry about that.”
He smiled at you at that “Still, I would love to help you. She’s been a part of my childhood too albeit not as much as yours.”
“Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you!” you said while continuously bowing.
“H-hey save your thanks for later once we actually made progress.”
“Oh r-right, ehehe”
“You better get going. You’ve got quite a long journey back home.”
“That’s true. I’ll take my leave then! It was very nice to meet you!”
As you were about to leave you felt him tug at your sleeve prompting you to look at him “Hey what do you say I escort you back to your village?”
“Really?” you asked though you find it hard to say no to a little extra protection from the forest’s dangers “Would that be ok?”
“Of course! Besides I like you!” he declared which made you blush heavily “No-wait uh, that didn’t come out right. What I was trying to say is that uh, your grandmother talks about from time to time so I kind of got an idea of what you were like so yea.” He let out a nervous laugh and though ‘The hell was that explanation, did it even make sense???’
“W-well I’ll be in your care then!” you tried to change the subject since this conversation is making you more and more flustered.
“Right!” he gave you a mock salute and went off to lead the way.
Through your journey, the sunset came about you. Baji stepped forward and held his hand towards the setting sun. He seemed to be gauging something before saying “We got a an hour or so before the sun completely sets. Let’s settle right here and set up camp.”
“Ok ok, I’ll grab some firewood not far from here.”
“Hmm, got a tent with you? I can set it up while you’re gathering.”
“Yes! Yes I do.” You answered handing it to him “Thank you very much.”
“Not a problem. Off you go now make sure to gather enough before dark.”
“I’ll be right back then.” Just as you said that, Baji noticed something move in his peripherals.
Finding firewood wasn’t that difficult and you find yourself content with the amount you have gathered. As you were finishing up, you heard a rustle to your right. “Ah Baji you didn’t have to come here I was…just…” it wasn’t Baji. And judging by the fact that this creature was eyeing you up as its next meal, it was safe to assume that it wasn’t gonna be as friendly as Baji was.
You tried to keep steady so as to not provoke the creature, but that didn’t matter since it started to approach you sizing you up. You’ve had training where you were taught how to defend yourself from these beasts and escape quickly but facing off with the real deal like this caused you to have a mental block.
You tried slowly reaching for your weapon—which is a measly knife—but it’ll have to do. But even the smallest of movements is enough to provoke it and was now charging at you in full speed. You were about to run but in the blink of an eye the beast’s head was crushed. And right on top of that crushed head is Baji’s foot. You were about to approach him but then he started stomping on the beast’s head flattening it to the ground. He then went towards its body and started to slash at it with his claws that you didn’t notice until now. He slashed and diced until all that’s left was just minced meat.
He took out what looked to be a handkerchief and wiped his face and hands before turning to face you. What he saw wasn’t exactly pleasant. You had a pale face with your trembling hands in front of you. He hopes he didn’t scare you too much, but what he did was necessary lest the creature go limping without its head. He took cautious steps towards you and you seemed to be rooted where you stand.
Who wouldn’t be intimidated at such a display? You knew it was necessary for both your survival but that was just too much for you to handle right now. On your first day no less. When you noticed Baji stepping towards you, you didn’t know what to do so you just stayed there. You were so lost in thought that you were surprised when you felt warmth around your hands. You looked down and saw him holding your hands. It was so big and warm and so…comforting.
Baji held your hands tenderly trying to calm you down. Once he felt your hands stop trembling, he asked you softly. “You doing ok now?”
His deep voice was enough to ground you to reality and be at the moment. “Oh I’ll….I’ll be fine. Just trying to process everything really.” Seeing one of the said protectors of your village in action is a lot, add on the fact that you were just in grave danger it’s a lot to take in. And he understood that.
“Why don’t we head back to the camp and rest there for a while then?”
So that’s what you two did. Seated by the campfire while you both stare at the bonfire, both of you not really knowing how to break the ice. You decided and went for it though so blurted out “That was impressive.”
“What is?”
“You overpowering something thrice your size. Didn’t even had a chance against you, you just stepped on it like a small bug.”
“It’s technically our job to get rid of those guys fast and efficiently.”
“Was mincing it really necessary? I mean you destroyed it’s head surely it must’ve died by then.”
“It’s mostly just a precaution really. That thing found us quite near our camp so I didn’t wanna take any chances.”
“I see.” As soon as you said that silence overcame the two of you once again. It wasn’t a comfortable silence nor was it an awkward silence. Just silence.
Baji got tired of it though. He looked at his surroundings before letting out a grunt as he stands up. “Come on, I wanna show you something. It’s not far from here.” He said as he offered you a hand to help you up.
You let him lead the way. You two walked for about two to three minutes until you ended up in a grass field where he stopped in his tracks. Was this the place, there isn’t much to see around here.
Baji suddenly bolted and ran through the fields in different patterns. You looked at him incredulously wondering what the hell he was doing. Before you could ponder on what purpose of his running was, you suddenly see a trail of gold light following after him. It didn’t take long for you to realize “Fireflies!”
They looked oh so beautiful with the moonlit night. As beautiful as they are your attention was on something completely different. Seeing Baji jumping and hopping around somehow made your heart skip a beat. ‘I don’t know maybe it’s his handsome mug?’
“Hey! Come on run with me!” Didn’t have to tell you twice. For the next ten minutes all you two did was run around while also trying to catch fireflies and letting them go not long after. It’s a cute activity except when Baji started to catch them with his mouth asking if it makes him glow. Which you firmly said no and proceeded to scold him, except it happened more than once so now you’re chasing after him to free those poor fireflies.
You managed to tackle him down but when you looked at him there was nothing in his mouth anymore. So here you are lying on top of him. You blushed at your position and quickly got off him for you to then lie down beside him. He was still laughing from the experience doing his best to calm his laughter down. You two are now staring at the stars while lying down and surrounded by fireflies.
“Beautiful place isn’t it?”
“Yeah” you sighed in contentment
“The forest is a scary place. It’s full of dangers and predators ready to pounce on its prey. But at the same time it can also be beautiful. It’s little wonders like these that give life to the forest. What you experienced earlier is a terrifying experience, but I ask you not to let that incident define how you view this place after all, it is my home. And maybe…your grandmother’s too.”
You sat up from your position and turned to look at him. “Thank you.” You chuckled after saying that “How much did I thank you just for today?”
“Don’t know wasn’t really keeping count. Besides,” he sat up “nothing wrong with being grateful.”
“We should take our rest; we still have quite a lot of land to travel through tomorrow. Especially you, you just went berserk just earlier.”
“Are you kidding I could easily take one of those guys again right now with ease.”
“Don’t jinx us.”
“Hahaha my bad, my bad,”
Your two day trip was shortened to a day and a half. And now the village walls is in your view already.
“Woah! Thanks for the help and of course for escorting me all the way here.”
“Don’t sell yourself short. Managing to trek through these forests to the drop off point in only two days is commendable. You’re a Red Riding Hood for a good reason.”
“Oh come on you’re making me blush from those praise.” You muttered while holding your cheeks.
“Oh you got a thing for praises then?”
“What?”
“Huh?”
Baji cleared his throat and said “Well uh looks like we’ll be seeing each other quite often huh.”
“Oh yeah yeah.”
“Until next time then?”
“Of course!” you answered quite enthusiastically
“Save me some snacks for next time then!” he waved at you before disappearing in the forest.
A very interesting first day you must admit.
You’re currently at your home taking your rest until the next excursion in the forest. You’re gonna have to set a routine and a new lifestyle so you can get used to your new job. As you’re taking your rest, your mind started to wander to that wolf you just met. He’s very energetic but you had a feeling you haven’t gotten the full experience just yet.
Now that you think about it, was it normal for wolves to escort Red Riding Hoods? It would make sense since they’re carrying something that the wolves need but that doesn’t explain the continuous disappearances of them. Maybe it happens occasionally. When you were studying, you haven’t come across any accounts that states they’ve been escorted by a wolf before. The only explanation you could think of is that since wolves are private creatures they don’t want them talking about how they are. Well the best way to find answers is to ask someone who’s been a Red Riding Hood before.
“Who did what now?” the man in front of you asked, shock written all over his face.
“A wolf escorted me home and I was wondering if that were normal for us.”
“Y-you came across a wolf?” he asked still in disbelief. He then stood up instantly “Do you realize what this means?! No one has seen any of the wolves for decades now!” The man then started to mutter and spouting details you couldn’t really make out so you just slowly backed away. Well now you know it’s definitely not normal. He was probably just helping you out cause he was familiar with your grandmother…and the food, can’t forget about that.
After all that deliberation here you are again nearing the drop off point to of course drop off the crops and livestock. You’re sat beside a large tree near it taking a little bit of rest before travelling back home again. When you felt well rested enough, you reached for your bag to take off only to find out it’s not there. Well that’s worrisome, but said worries were set aside when you heard someone clear their throat from above you.
“Looking for this?~” Baji asked while holding out the bag as he sits on a tree branch.
“Baji! Come on give it back!” he lowered the bag to you but pulled it out of your reach went you went to grab for it which made you chuckle. You tried to grab it from him multiple times jumping up and down. “Hardi har har Baji, now give it back or else I won’t be able to give you your snacks.” You persuaded which surprisingly worked on him as he jumped down from the tree branch.
He held out the bag to you but went to a sprint before you could grab it. “Catch me first! Hahaha” run after him you did. You figured that he wasn’t running in his top speed as you were able to easily catch up to him. No way were you able to outrun a wolf and you weren’t exactly the fastest either. Just as you thought you were close to him, he jumped up and onto a tree.
He turned to you and held his hand out “Upsy daisy!”
That caught you off guard “I’m not exactly a tree climber.”
“Don’t worry I got you!” he smiled at you with that wide smile where his sharp canines were on display. With such a charming smile, you couldn’t bring yourself to say no so you took his outstretched hand. You were much surprised when he was able to lift you up with just one hand.
He then handed the bag to you and climbed up higher and reached his hand out again. “We’re going higher?”
“Yeah I wanna show you something”
“How will we get down?”
“I’ll carry you down.”
You gave this a thought if it would be a good idea. You concluded that seeing the forest from a bird’s eye view can be very helpful especially in travelling. “Alright then.”
The higher you two get, the tighter the grip you had on Baji. He couldn’t help but silently smile at the thought that you trusted him in such a situation. Not long after, you two were at the top of the tree where the view of the large dense forest came to greet you. “Wow!” you gawked at the view while Baji basked in viewing the wonder in your eyes. “Look! I can see a little glimpse of the village’s gate from here!” you exclaimed pointing at its direction.
“They are pretty tall.” He acknowledged
You continued to sightsee and take in the large display of trees. You were taken out of your attention when you heard howling. You turned to Baji whose back was on you. You saw his flattened ears on his head, so you adjusted yourself to look at him and confirmed that it’s him who’s howling. “What are you doing?” you asked curiously
He turned to you and gave you a smirk. And that view got you blushing, his smirk along with the wind blowing his hair back with the large forest as the backdrop. After giving you the reassuring smirk, he continued to howl towards the forest for a few more seconds before pausing, waiting for something. Suddenly you heard howling coming from different directions of the forest.
Baji barked out laughter when he heard them. “THOSE ARE MY PALS!” he declared proudly. “You wanna meet them someday?”
“Can I?!?!” you asked excitedly. The idea of getting to know more about him and his friendships excited you.
You realize that your spot right now is a nice place to eat. So you fetched the food that you prepared for him. You decided to cook two servings of stir fried noodles since you figured that this man most likely had a gigantic stomach judging by the fact with how he devoured your sandwich last time.
Baji being the ever vigilant wolf that he is, smelt the food you took out and quickly sat beside you waiting to be handed the delicious smelling food. You even caught a glimpse of his wagging tail.
You held out the container to him but quickly pulled it back as he went to grab for it laughing at his pouty face paired with droopy ears. “Payback time.” He went and grabbed for it again but you managed to swipe it away from his reach. He tried again and again until your entire arm was outstretched while he was leaning on you as he tried to reach the container. It didn’t take long for you two to realize that he was basically hugging you with both his hands stretched out to reach the container and you in between his arms.
Both of you were quick to separate and sat there a little embarrassed flushing at the thought of how close you two were. “Here” you placed the container on his lap.
“Th-thanks”
A few moments has passed and you heard him starting to eat. Baji thinks that it’s delicious! It even reminded him of a certain food he loves back home but his mind is currently at how close they were earlier. You felt warm he could cuddle you all day just stay in your arms basking in its warmth. “Do you like it?”
“Mmfff!” He answered while also nodding his head. “We have something similar back home too!”
“Glad you enjoyed it. So uh,” you looked down from the tree “How exactly are we gonna get down?”
“Hmm? Oh, I’ll just carry you down.” He offered you his back “Just hang on to me and I’ll do the climbing down.
You appreciated that he was willing to do something like that but the thought of hanging on his back at such a height makes you scared that you’ll accidentally let go of him.
Baji sensed the anxiety you were currently having and thought of something else. “Th-then how about hanging from my front then.”
“Huh?”
“You clearly didn’t like the first idea and this is the only alternative I can think of.”
That was quite a smooth move whether it was his intention or not didn’t matter. Nevertheless clinging or basically hugging him until you get down didn’t seem like a bad idea. And you like being in his arms from earlier.
“That’ll do then.”
“Alright! Come on over here then.” He opened his arms with a wide smile trying to hide his fluster.
As you two got into position, both of you couldn’t help but focus on the breathing that’s right next to your ears. You give a pretty tight hug too. He lifted your thighs and guided them to wrap around his waist. The position was admittedly quite suggestive but he didn’t have any complaints and as he’s observed it seemed to be ok with you too. “Hang on tight.” He said as he started his descent.
As he was descending, you couldn’t help but pay attention to the breathing and grunts coming from him. You felt shame for thinking such thoughts so you just focused on the wind in your hair as he jumps from branch to branch and in no time at all you’re both back to the ground.
Once your feet were on the ground, you leaned back from your embrace with Baji. You still had your arms on his shoulders and his hands on your waist with you two just looking at each other. You caught a movement from his head and saw a caterpillar on his hair which made you giggle.
“What?” he asked concerned if he somehow looked silly.
“Nothing you just got a friendly guy hanging on you.” You reached for the caterpillar and let it crawl to your hand. As you wait for it to get to your hand, you felt how soft Baji’s hair actually was. You only assumed when since it looked like it, but getting to feel it it’s even softer than you expected.
The whole time Baji was just admiring you since he didn’t usually get a close look at you so he’s making the most out of this situation. He watched you place said caterpillar on a nearby bush letting it go in its merry way.
After that little encounter, you both agreed to start your journey back to the village. And thus another delivery as a Red Riding Hood has finished.
The both of you developed a routine where every time you are to do your duties, he would meet you at the drop off point, eat whatever you had prepared for him, and then show you a part of the forest he believes you would like. He never failed to bring a smile on your face when touring you through the forest. Then he’ll be on his way when you’re near the village. You’ve had this steady lifestyle for months until one day…
You were waiting for Baji because you just know that he’s on his way to get his precious snack. Your relaxed stated was disrupted when you smelt something burning. ‘That’s not good’ you thought It definitely wasn’t the smell of burning bonfire. You immediately rushed towards the direction of the burning hoping that it wasn’t the start of a forest fire.
Arriving at the scene, you were relieved it wasn’t a forest fire, but that relief was short lived because what you saw was somehow just as bad. There Baji was holding down a beast which is burning. “BAJI?!”
Your call made him turn to look at you. The sight of you made him widen his eyes in surprise “Stay back! I’ll handle this!” he said as he smacked the beast with a flaming torch before jumping away. He grabbed you in a hug and hid behind a tree where you only heard the flames getting bigger before silence.
You tried to look behind the tree but Baji only tightened his hold on you. The sound of something blowing up then overwhelmed you as you buried you head in his chest. A few more moments after that, Baji then loosened his hold on you. Once again you tried looking behind the tree only to find ashes everywhere. Nothing in the surrounding seemed to be burnt; the only evidence of there being a fire was the ashes and a missing patch of grass.
Before Baji could say anything, you smacked him upside the head. “What were you thinking?!?! You could’ve started something disastrous doing something like that!”
“But I didn’t~” he said before letting out a nervous laugh.
You went up real close to his face and said “You better NOT do this again or no more snacks for you!”
“Yes ma’am!”
You sighed and decided to take his word on it for now. “What even drove you to burning that beast?” you asked rubbing your temples
When you looked at him, he was guiltily looking down at his lap his ears droopy too, a clear sign of his guilt “I was hungry.” He said while in a pout.
“Come again?”
“I was hungryyyy” he whined “I easily get riled up when I’m hungry. That beast just attacked me at the wrong time.”
You sighed again not wanting to explore the topic any further. You took out a handkerchief and proceeded to wipe at his face “Look at you, you’re covered in soot.”
“So are you.”
“You know a place where we can wash up?”
Baji was silent for a moment trying to think of any. After a few moments, his face lighted up “I remember, there’s a river near hear with a small waterfall. I remember taking a bath there once.”
“Let’s head there then. Besides, a meal is much better after a bath after all.”
It wasn’t that long of a walk until you two came about the river he was talking about. The water in the river was crystal clear and the breeze around the area was refreshing thanks to the waterfall. You dipped your hand in the water to gauge its temperature which was just right it’s cold enough to be refreshing but not too cold that you’ll freeze. Maybe a little dip won’t hurt.
Unbeknownst to you, while you were observing the river, Baji was already shedding his clothes and was now running towards the river taking a dive. Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard a splash near you. You instinctively tried to cover yourself from being splashed. It doesn’t take a genius to deduct what was the source of that splash. “Baji!”
Baji resurfaced from the water and pushed his hair back all while laughing at your reaction “My bad, my bad.”
“You have to be mindful of others…around…you…” you drawled out after seeing Baji’s shirtless figure. Thank goodness for the sun’s reflection on the water or you would’ve gotten a full frontal view.
“You like the view?” he said with a big smirk on his face while also raising his eyebrow fascinated at how you were ogling him.
You were quick to turn your back to him to prevent yourself from staring. “Wh-why yes, this river is wonderful.”
“Not exactly what I’m referring to.” He teased
“Oh would you just shut it.” You blurted out in frustration. You were flushing so hard right now; you can’t bring yourself to face him like this.
“Oh well, it’s your decision to not take a dip. I mean it would be a shame for you not to experience the very cool river.” He sarcastically said while swimming over to the waterfall and washing his hair thoroughly through it. “ Ahh~ feels like I’m washing my problems away.”
You tried your best to remain firm but you find yourself turning to look at him curious as to what he was doing. And the sight of him washing his hair underneath a waterfall was such an enticing sight that you wanted to join him right then and there, but you were still embarrassed. You haven’t been naked in front of anyone, but the thought of being naked in front of Baji didn’t really bother you, you just felt shy.
Baji finished washing his hair before turning to look at you again. When he saw you still rooted in place, he swam over to you. “Come on take a dip, the water’s great. And weren’t you the one who said that a meal is much better after a bath?”
Few moments has passed of you just pondering the situation before answering “T-turn around.”
“Huh?” he asked in disbelief
“I said turn around. Don’t really feel comfortable being watched while getting naked.”
“Oh, OH right right! Uhh ok!” you heard a few splashes before you turned around to make sure. And there he is, his back turned to you—goodness even his back is such an eye candy.
You quickly make work of your clothes before taking a dip. In Baji’s opinion, the sound of your clothes rustling is much worse for him instead of just outright watching you get naked. Imagination is a powerful yet troublesome thing.
The soft sound of the water rippling as you stepped into the water rang in Baji’s ears refraining himself to look at your direction. “You should give the waterfall a try. It’ll also speed up the process if need be.”
Step under the waterfall you did. And to quote what Baji said, it really does feel like all your worries were being washed away. Baji then went back to washing himself once he was sure that you were settled nicely. Him minding his own business was quickly thrown to the side when he heard you let out a squeal. He quickly turned to look at you and he low-key regretted it. The sight of you and your pretty figure with water running down your body was more than enough to rile him up even more. He wanted to pounce on you right then and there. He clenched both his hands and his jaw trying to maintain what little is left of his self-control. But try as he might, he can’t make himself to look away from you his eyes stayed glued to you and you only, he was starting to have tunnel vision.
That tree branch sure did surprise you, now you felt silly for reacting such a way. You brushed that little incident off and went back to washing yourself which was paused the instant you felt an intense gaze on you. You turned to look at Baji since he’s the only person you knew who could be looking at you.
“Eep!” you squealed—yet again—out of embarrassment, not wanting to see his reaction to how you look so you quickly swan to the other side of the waterfall where he couldn’t or vaguely see you.
The second squeal you let out was enough for him to break out of his aroused stupor. Now with only concern in his mind, he swam near the waterfall but didn’t cross it. “Hey you ok in there?”
“Y-yeah!”
“Why’d you squeal earlier then?”
“You were looking at me earlier and I was embarrassed!”
There was a pause from his side “S-sorry about that I didn’t mean to. I was just concerned. Are you ok by the way?” he asked. You can hear the worry laced in his voice, and he did apologize so you decided to let it go.
“O-o that I was just-uh” you paused a little embarrassed to admit “A branch brushed my leg and I was startled. N-nothing to be concerned about.”
“That’s good.”
There was a pause once again. You only stared at each other’s figure albeit being distorted from the waterfall between you. “You’re beautiful.” Baji blurted out
“Huh?” you blushed at the sudden confession.
“I’m sorry, you were so irresistible to me I couldn’t help but stare I-I…” you saw his figure hold his face in his hands as if in shame “You’re a grown woman, surely you have an idea on what I’m feeling right now.”
You didn’t really have any words, you were speechless. But that’s not to say you disliked the knowledge that he saw you that way. In fact, it excited you. You reached out your hand to his side and took hold of his hands which were still holding his face. “No need to feel ashamed, I’m flattered actually.” You said as you then cupped his cheeks “Besides, you weren’t the only one staring.”
That admittance caused Baji to tense up. The thought of you looking at him the same way as he was looking at you was enough to rile him up again only this time, you were only a step away from him with you touching him. Once again he clenched his fists and jaw to maintain what’s left of his self control “Stop that. You don’t know what you’re doing.” He said with a slight tremble at his voice due to him trying to keep himself in place.
“What if I do know what I’m doing?” right now at this moment, you wanted to be as close to him as possible let him hold you close and do whatever he wants.
You felt some sort of vibration on your hands on his cheek. Was he growling? “You sure know how to rile a man up.” You heard him say through clenched teeth.
You realized you’ve made him wait long enough. You pulled your hands away from him and stepped back further in the waterfall to make room for him. “Come on over, must be lonely out there on your own.”
At first Baji was worried that he scared you off when you pulled you hands away, but you inviting him over excited him even more that he just knows how dilated his pupils were. Good thing the water was above the waist too or you would’ve gotten a view of his tail wagging aggressively.
You watched as he slowly stepped through the waterfall between you and seeing him all wet with some of his hair sticking to his in his naked glory brought you to arousal already.
Baji could say the same too. The sight of you all wet shyly covering yourself out of shyness from him was too much for him that he ended up caging you between his arms and the wall.
You two were close, too close with just a few inches between you as he pinned you. And yet it wasn’t close enough to your liking so you decided to fix that yourself. You threw your arms around his neck and brought your lips together with his which he gladly reciprocated. You felt how he was still trying to be gentle on you so you decided to rile him up. In the middle of your kiss, you gave his lips a long lick making him suck said tongue in turn. He then went to focus on your lips again sucking and biting which made you moan. Said moan turned Baji on even more as he shoved you further into the wall and dove to your neck giving it a hard bite pulling yet again another moan from you. The bite was hard but not hard enough to break skin yet hard enough to leave a mark that’ll be there for days. He gave the bite mark a lick before trailing butterfly kisses from your neck all the way up to your ear.
“I should’ve warned you earlier.” He said kissing your ear “I bite” he then proceeded to nibble at your ear while his hands were now roaming all over you feeling you up.
You didn’t want to be the only receiving end, so you proceeded to feel him up as well. You hands going to places you’ve always been curious about. First being his hair. You ran your hands repeatedly through his hair feeling how soft it is despite being wet. The next is his back; you’ve wanted to feel it ever since you caught sight of it earlier. You traced your hands on every muscle you could feel on his back starting from his shoulder blades and lower. You couldn’t help but wonder what it’ll be like when he’s thrusting into you. Third is his ears. You’ve always wondered if they were sensitive since it always seem to react to the tiniest bit of sound that not even you could pick up. You gave it a tentative touch and watch it twitch. You played with it for a while until you felt Baji’s nibbling to go harder.
Baji pulled away from your ear and dove for your lips making out with you as you both felt each other up. You were indulging in Baji’s kisses too much that you didn’t notice his hands going for your chest until he started playing with you nipples, pinching and twisting it while also squeezing your breast from time to time. The whole time he was doing so, you’ve been whimpering at the sensation. Baji was quick to put your breasts into his mouth sucking and nipping. As he does so, you started to feel something hard between your legs.
Naturally, you went and grabbed for it giving him slow strokes which earned a growl from him. A very welcome surprise for you, so you gladly kept doing it while his bites on your chests grow harder and harder. Eventually, Baji had enough of it. He grabbed your hand that was busy and pinned it to the wall next to you as he buried his face to your neck. “Careful now.” He growled
“Careful of what? I’ll welcome anything you have to offer, Baji.”
He gave you a tender look before going to kiss you again. As he was kissing, his free hand snaked down to your private parts and began to rub at it. Your moans from the action were swallowed by Baji as he kept kissing you. “You’re quite wet already aren’t you.” He said in between kisses.
“You sure it’s not just the water?” you teased
“Why don’t we find out ourselves.” He said with his signature smirk while inserted a finger in you making you gasp in surprise which he took advantage of tasting every bit of you through the kiss. Baji started to pull his finger in and out of you feeling your very slippery walls.
“I don’t know, it seems to me that the wetness is from you not the river.”
You didn’t even bother to answer, only focusing the feeling of Baji’s finger in you. You waited in anticipation as a second finger went up in you pulling a loud moan from you.
“Was two fingers too much for you, babe?” he swirled his fingers in you that made you squirm against him. “How are you going to handle me then?”
“B-baji please!” you pleaded as you looked at him with glossy eyes.
Baji would’ve loved to tease you more, but the sight of you begging and being putty under his hands is the straw that broke the camel’s back. He pulled out his fingers from you and grabbed your legs to lift you up against the wall. While in this position, you can feel his tip rubbing against you. Baji not wanting a moment to go to waste, entered you waiting for you to signal him to enter more until he is fully sheathed within you.
For a while you two stayed like that, basking in this very intimate embrace until you get used to the feeling of him in you. Once you felt ready, you called out to him.
“Keisuke”
“Hmm?”
“Take me.”
Baji gave your lips a peck “Anything my lady wants.”
He then pulled out from you leaving only the tip before slamming back in you. The act caused you to moan and squirm against him spurring him on even more to do it again. The first few moments he gave you slow and heavy thrusts but over time his hips started to move faster and faster leaving you a moaning mess against him. You can hear him growling and snarling as kept thrusting into you bringing you bliss every time. Baji only seemed to get turned on even more as he make love to you. The combination your sounds the feeling of your body against him and the feeling of your insides was driving him over the edge.
He dove for the space between your neck and shoulders and bit you his primal instincts taking over. The feeling of him biting you caused you to grab hold of his hair as you clenched around him.
In turn, the feeling of you clenching around him and pulling his hair only caused him to bite even harder. The act making you clench around him again. And thus it became a cycle throughout your session with his thrusts only growing harder as you two came near your climax. All you could hear was his muffled grunting and growling against your neck, his mouth still occupied by biting you. Not long after the familiar feeling of climax came upon you.
“Keisuke please! I-I”
He paid no attention to your words as kept his pace steady already knowing what’s going on. It didn’t take long until he heard you moan out his name out loud and feeling you cream all over him. He paused for a bit letting you take a breather. He went for a kiss making out with you before continuing to thrust in you again. You let him have his way with you as he chased after his high. A minute or so has passed of him just thrusting up to you until you hear his stuttering moan before feeling him pull out and rubbing himself before shooting out his load. You mimicked his action from earlier and gave him a kiss after his orgasm.
He let you down from your position before pulling you into a hug which you gladly returned. Being in his embrace after such an intimate endeavour felt romantic for you for some reason.
“How are you?” he asked as he strokes your head with so much tenderness you just wanted to melt into him.
“Amazing. I don’t know how else to word it.”
“I wasn’t too rough on you was I?” he asked looking at your bit marks in concern.
You noticed where his gaze was before smiling at him. “I would’ve smacked you upside the head if I didn’t like anything what you were doing. And I told you I’ll take everything you had to offer.”
“That’s good to hear.” He sighed in relief before kissing you. Said kiss started off innocent but eventually grew in fervor where he was now nibbling at your lips.
“B-baji?”
He pulled away and asked you “I know it’s too much to ask of you, but can you handle one more for me?” while caressing your waist.
“H-huh? Already?!” you gaped at him in surprise
“I told you, you’re irresistible to me. And I’ll only do it If you’re ok with it.” He emphasized
You were tired and winded from your first round, but the thought of a second round only aroused you despite what your body feels. You were definitely lying to yourself if you told yourself you didn’t want more.
As an answer to him, you jumped up and wrapped your legs around him again which he swiftly caught. “I’ll be in your care.
Baji definitely lit up hearing your answer. He gave you a deep kiss and said “I promise I’ll take good care for you the whole time.”
And just like that you were once again overwhelmed by the sounds of waterfall, your moans and his grunts inside the shallow cavern from behind the waterfall.
Just as he promised, he took good care of you drying you off, and dressing you up before cuddling you in a soft patch of grass beneath the shade of a tree. His arms felt so warm around you that you couldn’t help but fall asleep.
When you awoke, you realize you were lying down on his lap. The view that greeted you was Baji eating his serving of stir fried noodles. He swallowed the food in his mouth before speaking “Hope you don’t mind me eating while you slept. After all that I got hungry.”
“It’s ok you don’t have to worry about it.” You said as you slowly sat up “Besides better that than waking up to you burning yet another beast. And whose fault was it I was this tired?” you teased
Baji only laughed at your teasing before holding your chin and guiding you to him to give you a kiss. “I’d gladly do all it again if I’m being totally honest.”
You looked at him and said “No one is exactly stopping you.”
He went near your ear and whispered “Is that an invitation?”
You playfully pushed him away “Not right now you doofus.” You said chuckling.
Baji scooped you into his arms and onto his lap hugging you tight “I just wanna gobble you up all day.” He said nuzzling his face on your neck before looking up and giving you another kiss. After having a taste of you he just couldn’t get enough. He wanted to go back for more and more. Baji’s feelings were translated into the kiss where he continued to deepen it while also beginning to nibble on your lips.
You knew where this was going you wanted more of him too, but unfortunately you decided against it tapping on his shoulder before pulling away saliva still connecting you both. You wiped your lips before speaking “Very tempting really, but we should rest. We still have the journey back.”
Baji’s face turned into a pout before burying his face in your neck again his droopy ear tickling your cheek. The sight was too adorable you couldn’t help but pet said soft looking ears. Baji hummed in content as his ears perked up again, taking pleasure in your attention. “Come on, Baji up we go. We still have to set up camp before nightfall.” You coerced while patting his back.
He let out a low whine before standing up picking you up with him which made you giggle while giving him a kiss on the cheek. Once your camp was set up, you two settled for the night, lying down next to each other. It didn’t take long before you’re all over each other again. Both of you agreed not to go further than kissing tonight, after all you still need energy to go home. Who knows how long you two were kissing until you both fell asleep in each other’s arms. Baji holding you close and you holding his fluffy tail.
As you enter the village gates, Akkun happily greeted you “Welcome back! I hope it’s been a safe jou- WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?!” he looked you over in concern
“What’s wrong?”
“Look at your neck! You’ve got bites on you! You have to go to a medic right away!” he frantically said while pushing you to a carriage that was supposed to drive you home.
Oh goodness gracious. Baji’s bite marks didn’t even occur to you. You stepped away from his pushy hands and tried to reason with him “C-calm down Akkun. This isn’t anything fatal; otherwise I would’ve been rushing here. It didn’t even break skin, look just bruised.”
Akkun only looked at you in disbelief “A-are you sure sure? Those look pretty gnarly. Might be safer to get it looked over.”
“I’ll be fiiine~ It’s just some troublesome creature that didn’t let go until he was satisfied.” You said looking back at you and Baji’s intimacy. He really didn’t let you go until he was satisfied. You only chuckled at the memory.
“Sorry if I’m a little bit pushy, but are you sureyou don’t want that looked over?”
“I’m sure. It’ll disappear in a few days.” You then remembered how hard Baji was biting you and concluded that a few days might be too short “…maybe.”
You opened the carriage door before turning to the knight “Thanks for the concern Akkun, but I’ll be fine.” You said before boarding.
“Take good care of yourself. I wouldn’t want the reason for a new Red Riding Hood to be appointed because the last one died.” He jokingly said before closing the carriage door and signalling the driver that everything’s ready.
Akkun watched as the vehicle went off still a little bit concerned. Just then a knight came near him and said “I sense that our little Red Riding Hood has been having fun in the forest.”
Akkun gawked at the statement before giving said knight a light punch to the stomach “Get your head out of the gutter, Makoto!” he scolded one of his subordinates.
“I don’t recall any creature that can give such a bite and not break skin.” A knight with glasses stated.
“Not you too, Yamagishi! Takuya help me out here!” Akkun turned to the person who seemed sane along with him in their little team.
Takuya only turned to him and shrugged “I’m somewhat of a biter myself and those looked familiar to me.”
Akkun gave up, these three can be stupid in their own way at times, even more stupid than Yamagishi.
Seasons come and go faster than we realize and before you knew it, winter is upon the land. Since winter is a very harsh weather for travel, Red Riding Hoods are only required to deliver supplies once a month. As much as you’re happy at the little break from your job, you can’t help but be sad too. Seeing Baji less brought your spirits a little down, but a job is a job and you must see through it if you wanna live comfortably.
So here you are the lone red in a backdrop of a harsh white, like blood in snow. It’s not supposed to be there. You hope that thought coming to your mind is not some kind of bad omen.
Sadly fate followed through with that omen. You being the only red thing among the snow, you are very noticeable and a winter beast has been eyeing you for a while now. You noticed that someone or something has been following you, but you assumed that it was just Baji, but when he didn’t turn up you figured that it wasn’t him and now you’re extra vigilant.
As much as you would’ve loved to run, doing so in such a situation can only provoke what’s been following you into chasing you so you did your best not to make any sudden moves.
You were too focused on not spurring whatever’s been following you that you didn’t notice that you’ve already arrived at your destination. You make quick work of locking in the supplies in the drop off point since you suspected that whatever is following you is after the food.
Just as you were locking up, you heard a loud roar which likely came from the beast that’s now making a beeline towards the place containing the food. You tried to jump out of its way but it was still able to reach you and pushed you out of the way quite harshly. You ended but getting scratched by its claws but at least you landed on the soft snow.
You looked at the beast trying to claw at the container, but failing to get it to open. You took that opportunity to run away and put some distance between you and it. The beast having found the container futile, decided to go after the running prey. Just as you think you have lost the beast, you heard it coming near you. So you continued to run away trying to think of a way to shake it off you tail. You were so lost in thought that you didn’t see the branches that you ran into it. You were quick to get up but wasn’t able to run away since your red cloak got caught. You tried to make quick work on it, but you noticed that the beast is gaining on you. You pulled as hard as you could to your cloak that when it was free you stumbled back and hit your head to a nearby tree.
Now feeling a little dizzy, your run was slowed and a little wobbly. You eventually ran into a dead end. The wall didn’t seem to be too high; you know it’s within your abilities to climb it. But with your dizzy state, you were seeing double and that climbing said wall can result to even more injury.
You looked back and saw the beast slowly coming towards you. All you could do was close your eyes and hope that it won’t be painful. And so you waited…
And waited…
Until warmth envelopes you. You didn’t know what’s going on but you welcomed said warmth. It reminded you of the warmth Baji provided whenever he held you close to him. Oh how you so badly wanted him to be here right now.
You opened your eyes and was greeted by red against white. It was the blood of the beast flowing down onto the snow. You processed that someone was holding you and you were greeted by the comforting dark locks and amber gaze of Baji. He looks at you in guilt as if blaming himself of what just happened. You couldn’t stand the look of him bearing the sins of a mindless beast.
You reached out your hand to cup his cheek and gave him a grateful smile. “Baji, thank you. You saved me you have nothing to be guilty about.”
Baji tightened his hold on you and kissed your forehead. “I know, I just felt responsible since you’re very special to me and I want to protect everything that’s special to me.” Baji leaned down and pecked your lips “You’re one of my treasures. I can’t bear to lose you.” He said his eyes on the verge of tears.
“And I’m still here thanks to you. You protected your treasure.” You returned his kiss before hugging him “Baji, I’m tired. Can I go to sleep?”
“Not yet, we have to get you looked over.” He said worry laced in his voice as he gently stroke your head as if trying to push your dizziness away.
“I’ll be in your care.”
You didn’t remember much that happened after. All you could recall was the cold wind against you as Baji rushed through the forest, the sight of a cave above you along with a lilac haired man with matching ears before everything went to black.
Once Baji is sure that you’re settled, he put on his coat and started to head out.
“Where do you think you’re going?” the guy tending your wounds asked.
“Don’t stop me, Mitsuya. That beast’s body is still intact; I’ll go finish it off.”
Mitsuya stood up from beside you and took hs coat. “No you won’t, I’ll handle it. You watch over your precious. She’d be more comforted if she saw a familiar face when she wakes up.”
Baji clenched his fist, his eyes full of vengeance. “I’ll destroy every bit of that beast. I’d make its soul suffer if I could.” He muttered in clenched teeth his rage leaking out.
Mitsuya knew that Baji being in this state will only be bad for him in the end, so he decided to slap some sense into him. Mitsuya grabbed hold of Baji’s face and made him turn to your sleeping state “Look at her! You want to leave her here just so you could satiate your hunger for revenge?! You already killed the thing, she’s already in a safe state now go take care of her. I’ll handle the beast’s body.”
The sight of your peaceful face was enough to soften Baji’s intense anger and admittedly he really didn’t want to leave you here. If he could he would stay with you forever to protect you from ever being harmed again.
Mitsuya sensed that Baji has calmed down and let go of his face. “I’ll be off now. Take care ok?”
Baji only gave out a nod before kneeling down next to you. Mitsuya smiled at the sight of this Baji not having seen it often. But he’s glad that he has someone special that he can be himself with. No wonder he’s been in a good mood lately. And like that he’s off to the forest to leave the two be.
Morning came, and you roused from your slumber taking comfort in the warmth next to you. It was so familiar that you’re sure that it was who you thought it was. You looked up and saw Baji’s sleeping face his hair cascading across his face that he looked to ethereal. You wish you could burn the image into your mind. He’s as handsome as ever. You lifted your hand and slowly pushed the stray hairs on his face to behind his ears, but the action caused him to stir awake.
You waited for him to open his eyes, before flashing him a big smile “Sorry for waking you.”
Baji stayed silent just looking at you before his eyes widened and sat up quickly and leaning on to you. “Y-you’re awake?! Are you feeling ok, you feel anything unusual, hungry, thirsty?” he bombarded you with questions in concern.
Before you could respond, he dove for the bag right next to him and pulled out a canteen and handed it to you. Now that you’re looking at it, you did felt thirsty so you gladly took it and took a big gulp sighing in relief after quenching you thirst. Baji took the canteen from you as you were finished and handed you a container filled with food which you gladly devoured.
Baji only watched you closely trying to see if there’s anything to be concerned about. So far, you’ve been fine but he couldn’t help but worry after yesterday’s display. “How’s the cut on your arm?”
“Hmm?” you swallowed the food still in your mouth and felt around the bandaged wound. “It feels just fine. It’s like it’s never been there in the first place.”
Baji smiled at the information and gently grabbed your arm. He started to remove the bandages causing you to pull your arm in surprise “What are you doing?”
“You’ll see.” He held out his hand waiting for you to place your arm there. You trust Baji so you gave your arm to him.
He continued to remove the bandage and you were expecting to see a nasty wound, but what greeted you was your clean smooth skin which caused you to stare at your arm incredulously. Baji chuckled at your surprised face finding it cute. “A friend of mine patched you up. He’s no medic, but he’s very well prepared for situations like these.” He explained while caressing your healed arm. “He had an ointment on him that medics back home created made from herbs found in the forest. With a forest so big, there are a lot of things unexplored.” He looked up at you “It would seem that your village hasn’t discovered such a thing just yet.”
“That’s amazing!” you said still looking at your completely healed arm.
“I’d teach you to make it if I could, but sadly medicine isn’t a field I’m very knowledgeable with.”
“Then how about your friend? I wish I could’ve met him too.”
Baji chuckled “He doesn’t know how to make it too. He only carries it around because the rest of us can be muscleheads sometimes.”
“Well I get to learn it someday.” You said leaning into him as he hugged you “It would be a great asset to our village.” The thought of your village made you realize something. “How long was I out?” you asked concern written in your eyes.
“You’ve been out for a day. Why, is something wrong?”
“I-I have to get back home quickly!” you said quickly standing causing your vision to swirl. You wobbled but Baji caught you.
“H-hey calm down. Why in such a rush?”
“I have to get home quick!”
“W-why you shouldn’t even be moving too much. The ointment may have healed you but your body is still recovering from healing external wounds. You can’t be out and about right now especially in this cold weather.”
The reminder of the season caused you to shiver, suddenly feeling the cold. Baji tightened his hug when he felt you shiver. “I have to go home.” You said
“That sounded like there was an ‘or else’ was supposed to follow it.”
“I have to go home or… or I’ll be declared dead.” Baji tensed at that statement.
Baji pulled away from you to look at you but still close enough to hold you. “You’ll be declared dead?” he stared at the distance trying to figure it out but came to no reasonable reason “Why?”
“Being a Red Riding Hood is a dangerous job. We’re aware of what we’re getting into. They have a rule set in place where once a Red Riding Hood has not returned in the designated time, they will be declared dead.” You looked at Baji to see his reaction and he is infuriated. You could see his jaw clenching and his body tense ever since you started to explain the situation.
“Why don’t they send out a search party to look for missing Red Riding Hoods? Surely some of them only got lost.”
“Think about it Baji, you yourself are very familiar with the dangers of the forest. Do you think that those who went missing only got lost?”
“Then how about your grandmother, do you believe she’s dead too just because people who are too lazy to look for them declared that they’re dead?” he raised his voice which caused you to flinch a bit. He reached for your hand and you let him “I’m sorry, but you yourself have experienced the loss of someone out here. You still have hope to find your grandmother remember?” he reassured recalling one of your first conversations.
The rule has always been stupid in your eyes, but after years of studying of being a Red Riding Hood, they must have somehow buried that thought deep in you. Brainwashing you into thinking that said rule is a reasonable one. But thinking about it more, said rule is the reason you’re not with your grandmother anymore.
Too much emotion was going through you that you held on to Baji for comfort. In fact, it was too comforting that you ended up falling asleep in his arms. Baji gave the crown of your head a kiss before laying you back down and letting you rest. You need all the rest you can get because he just knows that you’ll insist on getting home once you wake up. He might even just carry you all the way there.
By the time you woke up, it was already evening. You smelled something good and saw Baji roasting something over the fire.
“Well rested?” he asked when he noticed you sit up.
“Like I could run a marathon!”
Baji sweatdropped and tried to reason “M-maybe not to that extent.”
“Well I technically have to run for a long time until I get home.”
“No need for that, I’ll just carry you. You can just enjoy the ride.” He said with a smirk no doubt confident in his abilities.
You chuckled at him “You know, when you say it like that something else comes to my mind you know.” You said blush slowly forming on your cheeks.
There was a slight pause as Baji processed what you just said just staring at you with wide eyes. He then smirked and said “There you are again riling me up.”
“Do you not like it?” you asked teasingly returning the smirk
“Never said such a thing.” He said as he took out whatever he was roasting off the fire.
You stood up and walked over to him not playing around. You lifted your leg over him and sat on his lap facing him. “Getting bold now are we.” He said his smirk growing bigger anticipating what will happen next.
“Are you still taking me for a ride?” you felt up his chest lacing your voice with a sultry tone trying to get him in the mood.
Baji placed his hands at your waist caressing it and occasionally wandering down to your butt. “In what context.” He teased
“You know…ride you.” You went close to him and gave his lips a kitten lick.
“I’m gonna need you to be more specific, darling.” He said before diving into your neck licking you there before giving you the first hickey of the night while also giving your butt a light smack.
“Please Baji! If you don’t take me right now I won’t be feeding you for the next month!”
“You treat me as if I’m some food motivated animal.” He said kissing you
“You sure act like it sometimes.” You responded in between his kisses.
Baji pulled away and looked at you with very dilated pupils. “Oh really? Then…” he lifted you up from where he was sitting and laid you down on your makeshift bed in the cave. “how about I eat you up. You’ll be my delicious meal for tonight.”
He went in to kiss you and took comfort of his tongue intertwined with yours. He indulged himself on your lips for a few more minutes before working to undress you and himself. Not long after, you two were passionately making out in the nude his hair cascading around you acting as sort of like a curtain, your only privacy.
Baji then slowly trailed kisses down to your neck where he placed a few more hickeys before proceeding to your chest. He took hold of it appreciating the feel of it against his hands before suckling on your nipples alternating between the two. After a few bite marks were given to your chest, he gave your tummy kisses.
You gasped when you felt Baji’s breath near your private parts. He adjusted himself and made room to slowly spread your legs. Guess you really were is meal, he looked starved when he caught sight of your glistening folds. Baji sat up and took a hair tie from his clothes and tied his hair back “Gotta make sure nothing gets in the way of my feast.” He placed your legs over his shoulders, held you down and gave your thighs a few bite marks.
Moans came out of your mouth as you felt his tongue give you a long lick tasting. Oh how he loved hearing those sounds knowing that he was the one to cause those. Baji gave her repeated licks savouring the taste of her burning it to his mind because he couldn’t get enough of it.
Baji was relentless, his tongue overwhelming you with sensations completely new to you. His pliant tongue a completely different experience from his thrusts back when you two were behind that waterfall. He was precise and you felt him everywhere, well it felt like it because the feel of him is the only thing you could feel and focus on.
After spending a while tasting your wetness, indulging himself in your taste. He figured he has tasted you enough that he should pay attention to your needs now. But you’d have to disagree as just his curious exploring was pleasurable as it is. Baji went to look for that bundle of nerves, and as soon as he came in contact with it, he felt you squirm away. Baji took hold of your legs on his shoulders and pulled you back and pinning you down. Now you’re a squirming and moaning mess underneath the mercy of his tongue. The stimulation was too much as you tried to squirm away once again but his tight grip on you prevented you from moving even a single inch from him.
The cave you two were in was filled with your moans and his slurping echoing across it which brought you an ounce of embarrassment and arousal. Just hearing those sounds excited you more, there’s something primalin the act of doing it in a cave, the thought bringing you excitement.
You felt around you trying to look for leverage to hold on to ground yourself from these sensations, but you settled at grabbing his hair and pulling occasionally. Since you couldn’t do anything but receive Baji’s actions, you were curious as to what he looked like and so you propped yourself on your elbows and peeked. What greeted you were Baji’s amber eyes staring at you intensely. The sight of Baji staring at you as he ate you out caused more wetness to gush out of you thoroughly aroused at the thought that he’s been watching you from the start.
Baji has been watching you, anticipating every single reaction he pulls out from you. He must know everything about you and how like to be pleasured, learning every single thing that brings you pleasure and excitement and exploiting them. Maybe even take advantage of it for the next time you get intimate. Everything about you just drives him crazy. He was in a daze he couldn’t stop and before he knew it a loud moan greeted his ears as fluids gushed out from you. He licked off every single drop off you clean before sitting up and licking his lips. He admired you and your limp and heavy breathing form, taking pride at his work.
As you were trying to catch your breath, you felt Baji lean over your figure and placed a kiss on your lips. Soon you felt something prodding at your entrance, but not right now. Not just yet. You sat up and pushed Baji into a sitting position with you leaning close to his face.
“That can wait. I have a different plan for now.” You said as you reached your hand behind his head and pulled his hair tie off his hair. You showed the object to Baji before using it to tie your hair back “Gotta make sure nothing gets in the way.” You quoted Baji from earlier which earned a chuckle from him.
You started to mimic how he went down on you. First kissing his neck and also leaving your little hickey before going down to his chest licking and tasting him. You took your time at his abdomen admiring it while also teasing him making him think that you’ll finally go down on him only to lick upwards again. You gave in after hearing him growl. You looked at him and his size seemed to lean on the bigger side. You weren’t sure if you could take all of him in your mouth, but might as well try.
You gave his tip a kiss and a lick before putting it in your mouth, swirling your tongue around just his tip. Trying to tease him more, you licked from the base of his cock all the way up slowly and flicking your tongue as you got to the tip. That seemed to be what caused Baji to snap. He grabbed you by the hair and shoved himself in your mouth. You giggled at his desperation before you started bobbing your head up and down your tongue still working in action.
Baji moaned loudly, throwing his head back as he indulged in the feeling of your mouth sucking him off. But he wasn’t one to pass up the sight of you and your face stuffed with his cock. He looked down and the sight almost made him come. He would’ve been done for if you were looking at him. Baji was quick to pull you away from him and kissing you. All the while kissing you, he pushed you down and hovered over you just appreciating in your beauty.
You could never tire of the view you have above you right now. Dishevelled hair around you both, his glistening lips, and the warm light of the bonfire made him appear even more sexier. It’s like everything around you was adjusting to you and Baji. Nothing else mattered except this moment between you two.
“Be a good girl for me and lie on your stomach, would you.”
Anything for him. You repositioned yourself and waited for Baji to make a move. You felt him kiss the small of your back his loose hair tickling you and made you squirm a little causing your butt to brush up to something hard.
Baji chuckled “Eager now, are we.” Ah, looks like he mistook it. No matter, you’ll both feel good later on anyway.
Baji’s hands explored your smooth back appreciating the feel of it against his hands and how you react to his every single touch whether it be a slight twitch or a whimper out of you, it excites him even more.
He leaned down to your ear “You ready?”
Once he saw you nod in response, he bit at your neck whilst inserting himself inside you. The feeling of each other’s closeness had you two letting out hot breaths, calming yourselves and letting you adjust to him. When you gave him the go ahead, he started ramming his hips into you. He couldn’t help himself from ravaging you, he’s been holding himself back ever since from the start.
You felt him lean down and felt his chest come into contact with your back as he continued to thrust into you. His pace started to quicken even more so you grabbed the nearest thing to you as leverage which happened to be Baji’s coat.
As soon as he saw you clutching at his coat, it sent him into overdrive standing on his knees and elevating your hips and holding your head down. He gave your butt a few smacks then proceeding to drive his hips into you once again. Baji pulled your hair up causing you to be on all fours.
“Look at you taking me so well.” He moaned out biting your neck once again “This is the third time I’ve been in you, right? You took me so well all times. Made me feel real good I couldn’t stop thinking about you after that.” He said between grunts.
Just as he said those words, he felt you clench at him “A-ahn~ you r-really do like praises huh.”
“You remember that? When I brought you back for the first time. You liked it when I sang you praises. Guess it carries over here too huh. Agh!” your insides clenched at him again. He grabbed your chin and made you face him “Driving me crazy here.” He kissed your lips tongue never failing to explore you.
After a few minutes of you two going at it, you eventually arrived at your climax which had you plop down on the makeshift bed ass still up. Baji rubbed himself a few more times before covering your back in white letting out a sigh of satisfaction.
Your back covered in his cum aroused him again; it makes him want to cover you with even more. But he knows he can’t, you still have to rest for tomorrow’s journey. He leaned down at your shoulder and bit down as his last ditch effort to satiate his current hunger, but sadly it only turned him on even more as he heard you moan in response to his bite.
You can tell that Baji is still raring to go but is holding himself back. “Keisuke,” you called in a breathy voice still trying to catch your breath “What’s stopping you?”
“Tomorrow, you need rest for tomorrow.” He kissed you again finding your dazed look to be irresistible.
“I thought you offered to carry me all the way home.” You teased
“I did say that.”
“And speaking of rides,” You sat up and sat on his lap, your cunt sliding against his already semi hard cock “I haven’t gotten my ride for tonight.”
Baji relented, grabbing your waist and guiding you to hover over his cock. “Do as you please.” He said with a smirk licking your collarbone.
Slowly, you sank yourself onto him with Baji’s arms stiff on your waist restraining himself from just slamming you down on him. It’s your ride, you do as you please. But goodness you sure are a good way to train his self-control because you keep testing him. By the time he’s fully in you, you caught sight of his knitted brows and a few droplets of sweat on his forehead.
You decide to spare him and slowly bounced yourself on him with Baji groaning in pleasure in response. You felt his hand on your waist go tighter. You can tell that he wants more, but you decide to just go at your pace going slowly. You low-key anticipate the impending rough treatment of you when he gets fed up with your ‘teasing’.
It didn’t take long before he’s biting on your neck and is now the one bouncing you on his cock. Baji laid on his back and continued to thrust up into you. You were glad he took initiative in this situation because you weren’t sure if your thighs could hold you up any longer considering his treatment of you in your first round.
Soon enough, you billowed out a moan your body twitching ever so slightly before collapsing on his chest. Baji pulled out of you and closed your thighs together and thrusted in there instead. The feeling of your soft lower lips and thighs rubbing him was what brought him to his second climax of the night. He felt you slowly dozing off on him. He pulled the blanket over the two of you before repositioning you into a much more comfortable sleeping position. He made sure to clean up the both of you before going to sleep himself.
You were woken up with Baji shaking you. When you woke up you were already dressed. “Time to go.”
You yawned and stretched before getting up preparing to leave. Travelling through the forest on a wolf’s perspective is a very new experience. You can’t help but close your eyes in bliss as you felt the wind in your hair blowing against you from the speed Baji was running. You vaguely remember this feeling when you were still injured after he saved you from the beast. You’re just happy you get to experience it again more clearly.
Baji suddenly came to a stop and when you looked ahead there are the gates of your village. On a normal circumstance you’d be happy at the sight of your home, but right now you’re only filled with dread. The gate lock was adorned with a red ribbon.
You hopped off Baji and approached said ribbon. “We’re too late.”
“What?! But you still have the rest of the day to return!”
“I know. They sure are quick to claim my death. Guess that’s that then.”
“You’re just gonna let them do that?!”
“Baji, once the ribbon is set there’s no way they’ll let me in anymore. It’s another one of those stupid rules. I’m not welcome here anymore.”
After all the work you did for them, they’re gonna dispose of you just like that??? Hell no, fuck those bastards, you’re not going back there. “You still have another place you’re welcome to go home to.”
Baji held his hand out to you “Come home with me. You’re more than welcome there. The pack would love you!”
You immediately took his hand. “If I’m being totally honest, I would prefer to be with you rather than stay in a place where not a lot cares about me. I missed you a lot when I couldn’t see you.”
Baji pulled you in for a hug and kissed you. “You’ve always been in my mind too. Now we don’t have to be apart anymore. We can be together whenever we want, wherever we want.”
“Let’s go to your home then.”
“Our home.” He corrected
“Yes, our home.”
And with that the two of you ran into the forest ready to start a new chapter in your lives where a new companion is by their side.

Word Count: 4159
A/N: Written like an episode. I removed Rossi so... AU? First actual fanfic on here, tell me what you think?
Today was your first official day at the BAU, switching from two floors down as an underestimated agent to upstairs, with the Big League. Agent Hotchner decided he needed new, young-minded blood. He was notorious for picking the best of the best and after an intimidating interview with him and his brooding questions, he decided he wanted you on his team.
You had been here before, of course. You frequently visited the ever-chatting Penelope Garcia for lunch, sometimes in her office, sometimes heading downstairs for a slice of pizza or a salad. She vented about her issues, while you talked about the constant misogyny that ran through the men on your floor. She was five years older than you and decided that as your 'elder' she would put on the angry soccer mom look and kick their asses. But, lucky for you, two floors upward, the men didn't act like children on the job, so Garcia could keep her regular look.
Here it was, glass entrance, high ceilings. The air smelled like paper and was filled with a fresh sort of low mumbling and the small clicks of the keyboards. A semi-fresh start. Today you would organize your new desk, sort files, meet the others...
"Agent (Y/L/N), we have a case in Boston, we will be briefed on the jet. Get your things ready, we leave in twenty-five minutes," Agent Hotchner said as he walked by. He didn't stop for a single second, those dark dress shoes clomping heavily to the desks of your new fellow agents to inform them as well. So much for your plans.
Not wanting to appear unready, you rushed to set your things down and grab the few things you needed for the case. Hotchner had said always bring three spare outfits rolled to the smallest packing size possible, toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, and feminine hygiene products) as well as one extra pair of shoes. Those were already packed into a small bag, so in with those went your notebook, pens, and highlighter. You came prepared, so in no time, you were on the jet for the first time, exhilarated.
A hand was extended to you when you took your seat. It belonged to a man with caramel skin and a dazzling smile, "You must be (Y/L/N). The name is Derek Morgan." Anyone who used 'the name is' seemed like they felt superior in some way. It was used in the media to introduce someone of importance. 'The name is Bond, James Bond', ran through your head as you gratefully shook his hand.
"My name is Emily Prentiss and I... didn't quite catch your first name," a woman with a v-neck sweater also reached to shake your hand. "I think I may have heard it, but I must have forgotten."
"(Y/N)," you replied with a small smile. It felt nice to be greeted with kind eyes, rather than greedy ones. "It's not a very memorable name, don't worry."
Emily looked apologetic, but soon reverted to her previous smile. I was greeted by the blonde woman across the aisle, too far to shake my hand. "My name is Jennifer Jareau, I'm the media liaison, but you can call me JJ, everyone does. It's really great to meet you- for a moment I thought Penelope had made up a friend as a result of too many hours in front of a screen."
You laughed a little, ruffling your hair. She seemed outgoing, but I had already started profiling Derek Morgan and I wanted to stop there. Agent Hotchner sat down with someone I had never noticed on my visits to Penelope. I had noticed everyone else here on this jet at least once before, but... not him. How had you missed him?
He stood at about six-one, maybe six-two? He was thin, much the opposite to Morgan's greatly muscular arms. This man was calm-looking, quiet. His clothes said that maybe he was meticulous and orderly- he looked like the kind of person who didn't own a single pair of sweatpants. His face was chiselled, with a sharp jawline and cheekbones that carved the shadows on his face. His eyes, however, were much softer. Long eyelashes and dark eyes made them bigger, but they were slightly blocked by bronze-toned brown curls that at the end of his combed and gelled hair, wrapped around his jaw, neck, and face.
He was beautiful, if you were entirely frank with yourself.
And he didn't even notice you were there until Hotchner nudged his arm in a way that said 'say hello' the same way one would introduce two toddlers. You were sure you weren't a toddler and nor was this man, but it appeared you both may have been the youngest there.
When he looked your way, you wanted to look away, but couldn't. He seemed surprised to see you there and you were trying to play off the staring by introducing yourself. "Hi, I'm SSA (Y/N) (Y/L/N). I don't think we've met, it's nice to meet you." You extended your hand and he just shook his head no, his lips pressing into a tight line.
He didn't shake hands, you realized. Probably a slight germophobe. You cleared your throat, "I'm sorry if that was an uncomfortable gesture, I didn't know." Humiliating.
The tall man opened his mouth to say something, shut his mouth, opened it again but then turned a little pink and sat down immediately next to Hotchner and stared at his hands that were folded in his lap. You had thought you nailed pretty much every introduction, but this one? Fuck.
You reverted back to your business with a sigh, patting your knees. It felt like you had somehow lost something. JJ whispered to you, silently pointing to the tall man, "Dr. Spencer Reid, human encyclopedia, dictionary, and knows pretty much everything." You nodded a thank you and she nodded back.
Derek Morgan, however, tapped Emily Prentiss on the shoulder and mumbled, "Reid did his 'pretty-girl-freakout'."
Emily gasped, "Oh, he did!
The two seemed to have forgotten you were in front of them and they noticed your confusion in unison, both of them freezing up and chuckling nervously. You smiled an extremely awkward smile and left thinking about Dr. Spencer Reid for later as you got to the case.
This was about a female mafia boss who seemed to take on the personality, style, and characteristics of the taste of rich men and kill them after having sex with them. The woman was reported and seen by one witness to see her and that was the only person outside of this mafia who had seen her face, so they were working with the sketch artist and would have the picture ready and accurate upon our arrival.
Victimology was simple, she was after men who had too much power. She probably identified with being a radical feminist. She was after their money and had sex with them to dethrone them on the way. Possibly bordered on a personality disorder considering she seemed to be entirely all-in to her 'disguises'.
The funniest thing was the way they all looked at you when you announced those lines. Perhaps you would work yourself out of the 'child' stage faster than you thought.
The BAU hit the precinct in much less time than I had expected and on the ground, running. You were immediately given things to do and you were on top of it all, every order. That was until the drawing of the Mafia leader AKA 'The Seductress' was pulled up and the whole BAU gasped at how she looked EXACTLY like you.
"Do I need my cuffs?" Morgan joked. You had covered your mouth in disbelief and the rest of the room was doing double-takes.
You laughed nervously, "I swear... that isn't me, but oh my god..." Morgan was laughing and Emily and JJ whispering and had confused smiles. Spencer Reid stood in the corner, his hand on his cheek, seemingly studying the photo. He looked statue-like, borderline godly.
"Can this be used to our advantage?" Hotch launched back into technical thinking, brow furrowed. You looked at him, mouth open, but immediately shut it out of professionalism. What was going on in his head?
Reid spoke up, "If we position her just right and at the right time in one of the hotspots for that group, we can possibly get her to somehow trick the other members into some sort of turn-in."
Her. Indirect. Did you do something wrong?
"Or a simple appearance could start gossip and a possible flock to where she was spotted. As long as people aren't seeing double or reaching to do so, she can play as The Seductress." Emily said, looking at you. "Are you up to try, (Y/L/N)?"
All eyes on you. Your first day turned to chaos. But this was your job and you would prove your place here. So you agreed and in a whisk of an afternoon, you were transformed into the mirror image of The Seductress while you were talked through the plan through a radio. Turned out, so prove a professional place, you needed to make yourself look ridiculously unprofessional.
Pinned up hair, dark cat eye makeup, a dress similar to hers that happened to be on hand. Long, deep red, with a long slit up the side and your tits were practically falling out of it, but the dress fit and they were secure, so you dealt with it. There was no other space for a gun other than the side of your thigh where The Seductress kept hers knife. Now, you had to get going, meaning you had to face the BAU in the getup.
When you walked out, Derek Morgan hooted and whistled and Emily gave him a look that said 'oh lord' like an annoyed sibling. You smiled a little and essentially just kept walking, figuring if you moved, it would give them less time to stare at your tits.
Turning the corner, you noticed that Dr.Spencer Reid was much redder than he had been earlier on the jet. So maybe he really did think you were pretty. You caught yourself smiling at the thought, but shook your head free of any ideas. Professional! No crushes on Spencer Reid!
You arrived near the scene, dropped off by Hotchner. "You know what to do. Reid will be going with you to the crateyard, he will also be nearby when you head in. If you see The Seductress, do not make the arrest. If you can, lure her."
You nodded. Wow, first time in the field with the BAU and you had the leading role. No pressure, no pressure, just... everyone depending on you. But the pressure came back when you realized you had heard right and Reid was going with you, alone. You had done really well with the job so far today, minus finding the tall doctor extremely attractive. He came to stand beside you and since he was much taller than you were, you were sure he could look right down your dress without even trying. Not like anyone had to try, but he had the upper hand.
You ached to cover yourself, but that was a major risk. The Seductress was confident, she wouldn't cover-up. You got into the tinted car with Reid, him in the driver's seat and you in the passenger's seat. Silence crept up, but he turned the engine over and headed east to where the mafia was to meet up.
"Some first day," you mumbled nervously.
Reid seemed to think you had said something to him and he talked to you directly for what seemed like the first time. "P-pardon?" He had a stutter when talking to you and to be honest it was cute but there was no time to crush!
"Oh, I was just remarking to myself on how this is my first day and I'm already... so... out there." You sighed and pat your knees. The jitters crept up, but so did butterflies. "Nervous, I'm nervous."
He looked over and swallowed hard, so hard it was audible. Was he fighting the same urge to be friendlier or was he just fighting the urge to look at your tits like a twelve-year-old boy would? Either way, you were glad he was with you. He smelled like books, leather, and cologne and it was oddly calming.
You reached the other side of the crateyard in a few more minutes and he handed you your gun, which you shoved into the holster on your thigh. "You're going without a vest so... k-keep focused," Spencer said- and it seemed like he had so many words jumbled on the tip of his tongue, but refused to say them. You thought he was afraid to annoy you, as you knew he liked to give lengthy explanations. "I'll be behind, uh- the crates."
You smiled at him and watched him look away, his curls falling in his face. God, he was so gorgeous. If this went wrong, you were glad you would go with that shy look of his in the front of your mind. He pulled on his vest and you put out a hand and stopped him. "If they see you with the vest at all, in any way, they'll know what's happening."
He nodded, keeping his eyes from yours as he pulled on a plain black jacket over the vest. For a genius, he seemed to have his mind a little fuzzy tonight. In the dark of the night, the only lights were flickering lamps on high-beamed poles. Your heart was beating hard as you waited for the signal to begin to move.
"G-good luck," Spencer's words fumbled out of his mouth and I looked at him for a moment where he looked right back at you. He chewed on his bottom lip, eyelids fluttering as you tried to look anywhere else and there it was- the radio signal. The tension that was there in that brief moment defused. You gave him a small smile before opening the car door and standing tall, in the aura of The Seductress.
Spencer waited until you were out between the crates to leave the car. You heard the door shut gently behind you, but his footsteps were silent. Much quicker than you thought, there was a gruff voice that didn't belong to Spencer. "My lady, may I say what an honour it is to have you join us this evening." You spun to face a man in a dark suit. You didn't have The Seductress's voice, so you nodded in the most gracious way you could.
"Bernard and Lolita are waiting inside the abandoned building for the small exchange as well as the rest of us, but Mamacita... you're being tailed by the FBI." He said, pointing to the crate that hid Dr. Spencer Reid. Fuck, fuck, fuck. "I'll go kill him for you!"
So flat out, he wanted to kill Spencer Reid, a rotting smile on his face as if it was an act of kindness. He knew Spencer was there, he saw... but you weren't busted? God, this man was stupid.
"No," you said, in a quiet, yet strong voice, grabbing the gruff man by the shoulder pad. "He is my kill."
The man grinned an evil grin and you did your best to smile evilly in return. You showed him your gun and he rubbed his palms together. "The gluck and Glock," he chuckled. "Can I watch?"
He thought you were going to fuck and kill Spencer. Your heart skipped a beat and you tried hard not to show it. Oh no... how to work your way out of this... Spencer couldn't help you. Or... could he?
You glared at the man, "No, but I know that his team is on the way. Get Bernard, Lolita, and anyone else in on the next killings from that abandoned building and run straight west. Do not stop. I will catch up to you once I'm finished with the agent here." You improvised the best you could and this stupid man bought it. Little did he know that the team was stationed Westbound.
"Got it," his face was dazed and malevolent. "But I'm not leaving until I know you've got this handled, my lady."
"You question my skill?" You shot back, still acting.
He looked scared for a moment, "No, not at all, I just... You're a lot shorter than I was expecting."
You stared daggers, "And you insult me?"
"Just wanted to know you had it covered... in case something is fishy here..." was he really catching on or was he confused and just running through the precautions?
Fuck, you had been so focused on the cover you forgot you were a profiler. This man was small-minded, probably brought into this ordeal through family ties. Since he was so stupid, he was trusted with less... hence why he was outside the building as the lookout, rather than in on the meeting.
Why he wouldn't leave- he was so incapable of proper interaction he had never had the chance to be with a woman. Watching was the only way he would ever see. He was stupid and he was stubborn. He was not going to leave until he saw the beginning.
The best thing would be to let him stay for proof. "Fine. But when I give you my look, you run and get everyone running straight West." You narrowed your eyebrows at him and he looked like he was going to sweat out of his skin. But... this meant...
You had a few seconds, you rushed over to behind the crate to where Spencer stood, his gun in hand. "W-what are you-" he questioned in a whisper-yell.
"He's onto me, I need you to go along with this- can I kiss you, Dr.Reid?" You whispered back. His eyes went wide and his cheeks flushed pink. Once again, being professional called for being unprofessional. You really didn't want to kiss him- at least not now, not like this. He wouldn't speak and the mafia man was coming. "Reid, if I don't do this, he won't flush the group West and we'll both be shot and if not shot, targeted by a mafia!"
"Y-yes!" he practically squeaked, his back to the crate he was hiding behind. This really was the only way- this other man would not be talked down, because he was taught to just shoot, rather than listen and understand. "I'm sorry if I-"
You cut him off by reaching up, grabbing the collar of his shirt and kissing him. It took him a moment, but he kissed back. You could feel the heat off of his cheeks. The first day on the job, you had embarrassed yourself, gotten dressed like a Mafia killer, played the part, and now you were kissing Dr.Spencer Reid in a crateyard... and he was surprisingly not a bad kisser. He was a little sloppy the first few seconds but moments later, he figured it out. His one hand went on your jaw, the other on your waist, both of them shaking. You could tell that the shaking wasn't because the man watching you both right now had a gun, it was you.
You were making out with him, hard. Your body was pressed to his tightly against the crate and Spencer was holding you there. Your hands were still gripping his shirt. Messy altogether but your lips met in every perfect way. It was good, but for work. This was when you knew to stop- you had convinced the other man. You pulled away, turned your head and mouthed to the mafia man, 'GO' and he ran.
Now things would be extremely awkward. You pushed yourself away from Spencer whose hands stayed on your waist and face until you were entirely out of his reach. You laughed anxiously and he stood there, hands behind his back. That was... that was wow, but... it was for the case. For the case.
It was time to get moving. Spencer knew it, you knew it. The real Seductress was on her way. You turned your head over your shoulder and he was moving slowly, head down. You fought off a small smile. He was entirely red, gun still held loosely in his hand.
You turned your head and were met by a sharp blow to the face. Both of you had let your guard down. Stupid.
"I don't like impostors," said the female voice that was the source of the blow. Hell, it was her. Spencer clocked his gun into place and you turned, elbowing The Seductress in the chest. She returned with another hard blow that you ducked, spinning around her and kicking the back of her leg. She recovered quickly and shot up, punching you in the stomach. You lost your breath for a second and she took the opportunity to punch you in the jaw and pull a knife.
"Put the knife down!" Spencer called. His voice was stronger facing a woman with a sharp knife than it was when talking to you alone. "I know who you are, you want what's right for women, correct?"
The Seductress narrowed her eyes at him like her next meal, leaving you on the ground. Would Spencer shoot if she threw that knife? Odd she didn't have a gun on her. She must have been relying on the others for more protection. You stood up quietly, watching her slowly advance on Spencer. He had your lipstick smeared over his lips, he looked rough, but he held his gun out in front of him and had the other hand up to reason with her. "Men like you think yourselves above women. You, FBI, you think yourself better than men and women alike because you're the authority. Tell me, how do you like your women, Agent?"
He gulped, eyes flickering to you. You pulled out your gun. "I think... I think I'm a weak man and I'm no better than anyone. I don't deserve women." Spencer said, looking at the evil lady. In person, she looked a lot less like you.
"Lies. It's the instinct of men to feel superior to women. You'll have a lot less instinct when you're dead!" She snarled, lunging at him with her blade out. You pulled the trigger, she fell to the ground. Not dead, but wounded to pass out. Spencer narrowly jumped out of her way, watching her knife clatter to the ground.
You looked up at Spencer, bewildered. You had done it. You saved the case, took down a murderous mafia boss. It was only when Spencer pointed at your face and said, "Y-you're bleeding, (Y/N), are you okay?"- that you noticed your cut lip and the blood pouring from your forehead. But you also noticed he called you by your first name.
He reached a hand forward but retracted it when you winced from the sudden pain. Adrenaline took the pain away temporarily, you supposed. There were still things to be done. Spencer called for backup and a medic and watched as you cuffed the woman. She wasn't going to die, but she did need help.
Once medics arrived, Spencer drove you both back to the Westward situation, where ten arrests had been made. You were in a state of haze, so how Spencer's jacket got around your shoulders was a mystery. When you stepped out of the car, you were greeted by the rest of the agents.
"Are you okay?!" Prentiss was the first to greet you both. She grabbed you by the shoulders and looked at the nearly-dried blood on your skin. "We got worried when you didn't follow soon after, you got her?"
"Yeah," you smiled tiredly.
She grinned back. "Fill us in on the details on the way back, okay? Let's get you two cleaned up."
But Derek Morgan found Spencer, "Hey pretty-boy, is that royal rouge you've got on your lips there?" he teased. Spencer panicked and looked into the mirror of the nearest car, seeing that he did in fact have your lipstick on his mouth. He tried to wipe it off with his wrist, but it still stained. You wiped your own lip with your thumb and Derek caught you. "Okay, Miss Newbie, I see you."
Your eyes widened and Emily raised her eyebrows at you, a teasing smile on her lips. "It was to keep my cover. It's what sent those guys your way, one of them has serious sexual issues." You made sure they knew it- to save yourself and to save Spencer. Derek Morgan spun away with a huge knowing grin, back to Hotchner who was conversing with the Chief of Police. Emily pulled you away to the other medics and you shot Spencer a smile as you went.
He smiled back, still wiping off his mouth.
