It was very funny to find out today that Hank Green apparently gave a very passionate presentation on a TV show about how my job should be eliminated

#I'm being genuine btw #not everyday you catch stray bullets from a vlogbrother lol #for context: he said that grocery stores should be standardized like libraries and the dewey decimal system #my job is to design grocery store shelf layouts 🤣#noble idea but it wouldnt work because there's too much money involved in the shelf placement contracts #also the grocery stores rely too much on impulse purchases! if the layout is predictable then their sales drop.#that's also why they rearrange shit all the time

Today has been pretty rough for me. Luckily these little guys choose the perfect day to arrive <3

I love them. They are so cute I love them so much. These are from @tubbytarchia's shop... im actually so happy about them being here. Today has been really rough but I'm feeling better now :)

It was so cute I had to put it on my collection of various types of insanity board. The little guys <3<3<3<3<3

#The keychains are going on my bag :D and I'm going to put the stickers on my archery bow case #Not today though. Half of the drawings were taken off of #Assignments students at the summer camp I worked at turned in. The writing you see in the top left corner is actually #The entirety of Eggman's announced written from memory. That was made a year ago. I wrote it in class while I was bored #And the writing in blue ink is a fake receipt. chili plants have almost recovered from the trauma of *checks notes* standing in the gentle breeze on the warm, mildly sunny balcony for two hours. they'd better shape up, because they're getting potted in the big outdoor pots in two weeks. it's resilience or die for these babies.

#hedvig charlotta grows things #the only plant my cat will absolutely destroy is chili so the sooner i get them outdoors and can stop hiding them the better #they're in the awkward stage of too big for the growing shelf and not warm enough for outdoors #so they have to stand in a sub-optimal shady shelf the cat can't get to for a month or so #plus the root system is getting too big for these pots

on that note I have one (1) shelf to put a media player on. I want it to play vinyl and cd (and cassette if possible). Anyone know any new or old systems I could source. And if u comment on this saying “all in one systems are slop just invest in multiple shelving units and multiple expensive ass media players and also speakers” I will hurt you

anyway i swept the leaves out of my garage and built a shelf and those two actions were enough to leave me too tired to do anything about the fact that now there are two shelves in my room that only has room for one of them

#ragsycon exclusive #inside you there are two shelves #one was the right depth but was made out of cheap particle board and was literally collapsing under the weight of all my books #the other is an industrial strength workshop shelf but the shelfs themselfs are too deep and now rigatoni's tank is entrenched in shadows #so i have to get a lighting system set up for my boy i guess #but i don't have the beans to go back out to the hardware store so i have to hack something together with what i have in my house #and my display shelf that was on my old shelf is now the top shelf of my new one which is higher than eye level #so i need to figure out some sort of riser system so i can see anything i even put up there #not to mention find a home for my old shelf #all this to say; i'm sitting here typing this instead of doing all that #because i'm tired #but i can't lie down because my bed is covered in half the shit i pulled off my old shelf and haven't put on the new one yet #march of the gladiators dot mp3

I gripe a lot about my job but I do have to admit I appreciate working in the main office bc my boss has figured out I love organizing things so he'll give me tasks like "do you want to alphabetize the timesheet folders" and I can be like YES. YES I DO WANT TO DO THAT.

Had a dream where I walked into a video game store and found a small zip lock bag with a 3DS game cartridge in it.

I then became convinced that there were six more to find, and after searching the entire store with no success I asked the lady at the counter for help. She asked me what I was doing so I went on an entire rant about how I needed to find the other six, so she pulls out to weird ass looking machines. The first one I had to scan the cartridge like a credit card so the lady could see if it was in their system or not (it was not), and the second one scanned the inside of it to display what it was on a small screen and to check if it was a virus. Turns out it was not a virus and was an actual game about some sort of labyrinth.

#I ended up paying the lady $20 for the game because I felt bad about taking the game without paying.#Like she insisted that I just take it since it wasn't on their system and it was clearly just hidden on a shelf by some random person.#weird dreams #nintendo 3ds #3ds #video games #sanders sides #the store was EB games lol
