Get excited Sherlollians because Fanfiction Week is next month! All fics are welcome (smut, fluff, crack, angsty, AU, ect.), especially those amazing fics that need a little more love!

Reviews: If you are interested in reviewing a fic, some ideas could include attention to details, character dynamics, dramatic moments, transitions, title originality – whatever you want to talk about! Recommendations: Feel free to recommend as many fics as you want a day – maybe you just choose one fic to recommend or maybe you create a small list for each theme – this is totally up to you!

Artists / Editors / GIF Makers: If you want to make your review or recommendation for each day a new piece of art based on fics that fit either of the themes for that day, that would be amazing!

And for another rec for day 1 of Sherlolly Fic Week (hosted by @sherlollyappreciationweek) I have this WIP by @mizjoely! 😄 this revolutionary war AU is a lovely slow burn and I’m definitely looking forward to more! Also, it’s a T rated version of the original E rated fic. Writing a fic is already a labor of love, so to post 2 versions of it just for the benefit of those avoiding explicit content is an especially generous gift and should be well appreciated! 🥰

Sherlolly Fanfic Week Day 1

In case you have not checked it out yet, Case Insolvent by thedragonaunt is an awesome, awesome WIP. Set post The Final Problem, it is an exciting thriller on what if Eurus' incarceration was not all it appears to be. Sherlock seeks answers while trying to navigate the new dynamic post incident with everyone, especially Molly. It's a long fic, but I get so excited whenever I get the update notification to see what twists and turns the author comes up with. I cannot wait for the ending.

In a mix of both prompts for today's @sherlollyappreciationweek, I recommend @writingwife-83's Another Speech. I love the story and most especially that he speaks out at him own wedding which is such a Sherlock thing to do. It's super funny but still really sweet!

Whytejigsaw wrote tons of fabulous fics but this one (Sherlock and Molly competing in various ways while he stays at her flat after The Fall) definitely merits the title "Comedy Gold" :D

For today's theme, I would like to recommend a Teen Potterlock fic - All in Green by kludrenett. A fluffy tale where Mrs. Holmes invites Molly to spend Easter holidays with Sherlock and their family at their magical little cottage. Featuring a very cute owl, a Mycroft cameo, and magical idiots in love.

Rather than reccing a single fic this time, I thought I'd give a shout out to the plethora of Teen!lock Potter!lock fics written by @svartalfhild. They're all tumblr one-shots and meld the BBC Sherlock characters and world beautifully with the Potterverse.

For Sherlolly Fanfiction Week Day 1: WiP, I would like to rec A Life Measured out in Coffee Spoons by SkippingStone, an angsty fic that explores Sherlock and Molly's life after he receives a fatal diagnosis. The author has written 12 chapters so far, starting in 2017 and last updated in 2018.
